12221  Other / Meta / Re: Getting bitcointalk.org pages whitelisted on Wikipedia on: July 05, 2018, 02:26:25 PM
Is every BitcoinTalk.org link now whitelisted? Or only this specific post from satoshi?
12222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Introduing our CoinBox app, a new crypto portfolio app and it's NOT a scam on: July 05, 2018, 01:40:42 PM
No, but they could contain malware that steals coins from your wallet on your devices.
Not possible in iOS (apps are sandboxed) and most likely not going to happen in Android if you are not rooted/doesn't give the app root permissions.
12223  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitMaximum.io - More privacy during Bitcoin exchange / Coin mixer on: July 05, 2018, 01:29:52 PM
For templates used in signed messages, you can refer to "this" or simply look for other templates in google images, using the following words:
I can't see anything because the quality of the image from your link is shit. Here is the HQ version of that screenshot.
12224  Other / Meta / Re: PLEASE REOPEN MY BITCOINTALK ,I CAN PAY BTC FOR REOPENING MY ACCOUNT BITCOINTALK on: July 05, 2018, 03:03:37 AM
So later if I want to copy the article from another website, I just need to write the source ?
Not "later", because there is no second chance. You have been permabanned and you can't start a new account.

Actually, you are breaking the rules by joining your bounties with this account (ban evading).

12225  Other / Meta / Re: Little problem with the notification system on: July 05, 2018, 03:00:20 AM
Did you enable "Notify" in the board/thread you want to receive the notifications? Go to this page[1] and check if everything is right and if there is any board/thread in the "Current (Topic/Board) Notifications" table.

12226  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: July 05, 2018, 02:32:57 AM
has it been confirmed the minimum deposit back to 0.001 btc?
Yes.

Minimal amount you can deposit is and always was 1 mBTC. If you deposit 3 mBTC you will receive 3 mBTC. Sometimes mining fees go so high we disable withdrawal of 1 and 2 mBTC.

I want to make 2 separate deposit txs (in 1 session) that totalled over 4 mBTC, but afraid to lose them all Lips sealed
I'm pretty sure that's possible.
12227  Other / Meta / Re: Watch out for be Copy and Paste BTC Adresses ! on: July 05, 2018, 02:27:57 AM
Meta is only for forum related issues/discussions.

Always double check the address you are sending the coins to. I myself always do this 2-3 times.
12228  Other / New forum software / Re: Log-in with TREZOR on: July 04, 2018, 07:53:07 PM
Be careful when using the TREZOR cryptocurrency website, hackers are more likely to conduct phishing attacks, the company wrote on its blog:
https://blog.trezor.io/psa-phishing-alert-fake-trezor-wallet-website-3bcfdfc3set
Your link is broken.

Here is the working one: https://blog.trezor.io/psa-phishing-alert-fake-trezor-wallet-website-3bcfdfc3eced

Also, this thread is more about implementing Trezor's API on the forum rather than the hardware wallet itself.
12229  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to post an Announcement in a language with no group on local? on: July 04, 2018, 07:47:04 PM

Quote
It is prohibited to create translated ICO threads for Local Languages that don't have their own sub boards. Due to abuse, it is also prohibited for users to create threads outside of their Local Thread. This sub forum is for those languages that don't have a local board to have their own thread to discuss bitcoin in; it is not a place for account farmers and spammers to easily abuse campaigns. If you post threads outside of your own local thread you will be banned.

12232  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: HelpMeHodl on: July 03, 2018, 04:31:41 PM
again this is  for ethereum not bitcoin, price would be taken from coinmarketcap, they have usd and btc  value both, so you can use either to set
Sure... I think you should always make that clear. Keep in mind that you made this thread in the "Bitcoin -> Project Development" board. Which is why I always think you are talking about BTC and not ETH.

Anyways, it's probably possible, but you will always rely on CoinMarketCap. What if they go down? Or if they ever put a fake price/bug out and show a higher/lower price? It's not ideal having to rely on a third party.
12233  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk phishing sites sticky and warning? on: July 03, 2018, 03:27:11 PM
Do you mean bitcointalk[.]to? It's a well-known phishing version of the forum.

Request: add bitcointalk.TO to [phishing] list
12234  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: HelpMeHodl on: July 03, 2018, 03:25:32 PM
I dont know if its possible but maybe coins will be sent back once set profit is reached? like 700$ per coin or perhaps 30% profit? (increase in price atleast, not profit per say)
You can't do this without a third party.

Who would set the price? 1 BTC is always 1 BTC.
12235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Do i need Minimum Balance when some one Mining For my Blockchain Wallet. on: July 03, 2018, 02:25:19 AM
No. You are probably using a mining pool, and they will send the coins directly to your Bitcoin wallet (empty or not).

P.S: If you are not mining with a good amount of ASICS, you will not get anything. Don't try to mine with your normal GPU/CPU (in case that's what you are doing).
12236  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: OMG Bitcoin & ETH Data Size on: July 03, 2018, 01:11:46 AM
Use an SPV wallet that doesn't require the whole Blockchain.

For Bitcoin: Electrum
For Ethereum: MyEtherWallet
12237  Other / Meta / Re: A question about some email spammers on: July 02, 2018, 10:40:02 PM
I don't think so. There aren't any rules against this.

And if this is happening outside the forum, there is nothing the mods can do.
12238  Other / Meta / Re: Request: add bitcointalk.TO to [phishing] list on: July 02, 2018, 06:35:03 PM
I think I can keep bumping this until the title reads "add [phishing] to [phishing] list" Wink
Where is the "add [phishing] to [phishing] list" ?
If bitcointalk[.]to gets added to the phishing list, it will probably get filtered out and changed to something like "[phishing]".

Notice the title of the thread.
12239  Economy / Exchanges / Re: IS hitbtc down? on: July 02, 2018, 03:04:39 AM
No.

You can use this website when you want to know if a website is down: https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/hitbtc.com
