12241  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you with or against "the U.K. quits the European Union" ? on: February 23, 2016, 12:41:38 PM
As you may know that UK will have a referendum about whether they will leave the European Union or not.
So I want to know your opinion regarding this issue, SPECIALLY who live in Europe or UK:

Are you with or against "the U.K. quits the European Union" ?

IMO the UK never actually was a part of the European Union. They still have their own currency, pounds, right? They always had their own thoughts about everything and I think it's very difficult to them to adjust to other cultures and views especially when those views are not of people of the European Union but of the politicians of EU countries. So I will understand them if they quit.

Should i buy my first whole bitcoin ?

I just want opinions, would you buy a whole bitcoin ?

I would, definitely I would, only I don't have spare money to do this. I have a family and my salary is less then 1 Bitcoin per month. The good news is I can earn it by participating in Signature campaigns. I will have 1 Bitcoin by the end of this Summer I hope.
12243  Economy / Gambling / Re: Try luck on: February 23, 2016, 10:02:29 AM
hatesatoshi bets 279 and profit 220BTC it means he almost every single bet with amount 1 BTC Cheesy

Yeah, looks impressive. Though I don't know was he cheating or not. If he wasn't then that's a luck I've never seen before. Is it even possible, I mean from the point of probability? Once in a million years? )
12244  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 23, 2016, 09:47:17 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

Investing online is always risky, I'd say it's a bit more risky than taking your money to a bank. But when your risk you might have a good profit in the future. Forget gold or real estate, invest in Bitcoin and you'll be at profit.
12245  Economy / Economics / Re: Is America a failed nation? on: February 22, 2016, 04:33:21 PM
No way America is a failed nation. Of course the American system has some weaknesses but compaired to other countries' they are much smaller and America will take care of them in due time. Don't worry mate America will not fail.
12246  Economy / Gambling / Re: Try luck on: February 22, 2016, 09:28:31 AM
Dang, Hufflepuff has bet over 61406 BTC ($2.6 million USD as of today) and profited 2037 BTC ($888,000 USD).  That's insane, I wish I had that kind of money.

He cheated the house, so he doesnt really deserve to be up there... Anyway, hatesatoshi = legit version of huffle Cheesy

I'm wondering how much did he really withdraw? Could PrimeDice afford to lose $888,000 USD? That's a big money. How can a site survive after such great losses?
12247  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Apple or the FBI… whose side are you on in the iPhone privacy battle? on: February 22, 2016, 09:12:16 AM
If Tim Cook really care about privacy, maybe he shouldn't collect too many userdata. The same for Google. Maybe stop reading emails for starters.

Exactly. Apple is the same as any other corporation in the Western World (including Microsoft, McAfee, Symantec, and Samsung). They never care about the privacy of their users. Tim Cook is trying to claim moral high ground, by publicizing his battle with the FBI. I am sure that in the end, Apple will provide the de-encryption software to the FBI.

I hope they won't do that. Although I understand that sometimes we might consider losing some freedom for the sake of security we shouldn't let the Government control everything in our life.

12248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your gambling stats? on: February 21, 2016, 07:57:41 PM
I'm at -0.1 BTC in total now. Considering the fact that I lost this amount playing more than a year it may seem like not a big loss, but I hate to lose anyway and now I think that it is better to bet only very small amounts on 0.01% win chance, not autobet, manually just 20-30 times and then stop. I hope I will have enough strength to stick to this way of gambling.
12249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: February 21, 2016, 07:04:32 PM
Everyone has a gambling problem if they are going to gamble. But I think that is very normal.
We are all very greedy and that is not good. The best is to find some distraction and that is the best option I think.

Yep, that's true. Many times I thought that I'm not the one who won't stop until he lost everything on the balance but the day before yesterday it happened ... again. I lost $5 in BTC in 30 seconds. Maybe it's not a big amount for most players but for me it is. Normally I gamble with not more than $0.5-$1 just for fun but sometimes things like this happen.
12250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: February 21, 2016, 06:45:04 PM
Definitely, I know a way to do it one hundred percent! Binary trading (Bet on market being up or down), hack the source and make it up (bet on up), win! Or easier, hack the whole casino

Yes, but that's not exactly gambling. Hacking is more like stealing to me so I don't think this answers the OP's question (maybe you are joking though  Smiley ).

I like the fact that most answers in this thread are like "No, it can't be." And I agree with that. Gambling is either a funny game or a disease. In both cases it can't be profitable in long term.
12251  Economy / Economics / Re: Trade house for 1 bitcoin on: February 21, 2016, 06:33:16 PM
even in 100 years you can't buy a house with 1 btc Wink it is impossible even if bitcoin price are growing the houses price grow with it

Why? I disagree. The price of Bitcoin is in no way connected to the price of real estate property.

Back to the topic: Right now it is possible to buy 3 bedroom village house in Bulgaria for £11,315

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/overseas-property/property-48024988.html

and I'm sure there are many proposals with even lower prices around the world. So I think in 10-15 years from now it will be possible to buy a house for 1 Bitcoin.
12252  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [Primedice.com] Make a bet and receive double as a bonus! on: February 20, 2016, 05:34:14 PM
Maybe there should've been a rule for reserving the first posts?

It doesn't matter whose post appears first. The first 150 entrants who post their bet IDs on their posts count. So, if it is past 150 and then someone edits their post from reserved, it will not be entered.

At Primedice, we do our best to be fair to all! Grin

Edit: Just so that it is clear, we save a copy of the thread once we are near 150. And entries will be collected from that copy instead of the thread.

I agree, that's absolutely fair. Although I lost 0.014 today on PD, I'm still a big fan of this site and I'm always pleased seeing how they choose their mods and people who represent them.
12253  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: February 20, 2016, 05:25:55 PM
already have gold now try to have bitcoins.present and future  Grin

Sell all your gold and buy Bitcoins with the money, that's my advice. Gold is the treasure of the past and Bitcoin is the future. Invest in the future and then even if fail ... well, at least you've tried.
12254  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 19, 2016, 04:52:41 PM
Of course it sounds to be a good investment to buy a bitcoin today as the price is in the increasing track. So you won't get bitcoin for less price than this by the coming days.
I think the price now rise. are you sure will buy now ? im afraid that it will down ? because its was already pump

The current price of $400 is not a pump. If the price would sit at $450 right now, then it can be seen as a pump. If you buy right now it is still a good investment for the long term. You just need to have patience and not panic if the price is going down heavily. You need to have steel ballz.

I disagree. IMO the right price for Bitcoin now is $500, so even if it hits $500 I wouldn't consider that as a pump and I wouldn't start selling at that point and I think most of Bitcoin holders will do the same.

So my advice is if you want to buy Bitcoins buy them before they are under $500 because in the near future it might stabilize there for sveral months and after that it will go even higher.
12255  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Girl was Gang-Raped at School While Teachers Ignored It on: February 19, 2016, 02:32:56 PM
“Students allegedly alerted her teacher and asked her to do something,” the Kleine Zeitung reported.

“Instead, she reportedly blamed the 15-year-old for turning up late to class.”

WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK? Oo

I mean, reallyyyyyyyyy? There is something fishy under that, it was planned or something like that!

Well, not necessarily. The thing is we have a lot of pretty stupid or inadequate people who work as teachers in schools. That's too bad because thus we are losing trust of young people in society and they end up in dangerous cults or start drinking alcohol or doing drugs.

I think that "teacher" should be fired at least but I'm afraid this won't happen.
12256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: February 19, 2016, 02:20:49 PM
I don't really understand what you're getting at. People that use bitcoin probably wouldn't want a bitcoin bank because it destroys the decentralized nature of bitcoin. And also if you have your own wallet and address, you can be your own bank.

Exactly! We don't need  no banks for Bitcoin we already have enough of them for fiat. Since Bitcoin goes up with time (in long-term anyway it does) just holding your coins is much better than putting your fiat in a bank.

12258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 19, 2016, 10:39:02 AM
Hi! Cheesy

I recently created a thread asking for the best methods of gaining free Bitcoin.

Most popular results:
  • Signature Campaign (High Paying)
  • Faucets (Low Paying)
  • Trading (Variable)

Now, I'm asking a different question.
What are your best methods of growing Bitcoin.

Only refer to safe investments!

Thanks

IMO no investment can be called 100% safe. We all know about so called "Cloud Mining" which turn out to be ponzi shemes. The sites which promise "Double your Bitcoin" or "Triple your Bitcoin" in a short period of time are even worse because from "Cloud Mining" you normally get part of the invested money back.

So you better just hold your Bitcoins and wait for the price increase. That would be the best investment IMO.
12259  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: February 19, 2016, 09:59:18 AM
Let's say theoretically that you manage to do so; you should be aware that the this reality you traveled from wouldn't exist because you interfered with the past,
creating whole new timeline. That being said, future from that point on would once again be unknown, and the possibility that bitcoin never gets traction it has today would be an option also.
Not to mention xy other paradoxes that scientist predict would happen.
Far better thing you could do is invest today, and prevent future self from creating same thread in the future, wishing you could travel back to 2015.

cheers young troll traveler

Just was going to say something like this but I probably wouldn't put it so good. Just want to add that even if there were no problems with interfering the past and you managed to become a billionaire you still might not be "rich" in a sense you mean (and you mean in a good sense I suppose). A lot of money bring a lot of problems to most people.
12260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: origin of bitcoin on: February 19, 2016, 09:42:22 AM
I'll correct myself, before somebody else corrects me.

The address used in the genesis block is actually currently worth BTC16.17850597  .

Many people did a voluntary offering or donation to that address, sort of like a tribute to a god. Currently there are 1027 such tribute transactions. Those are spendable.

WOW! Thanks mate, I wasn't aware of that. That is so sweet really, people are still sending money there.

Only when I tried to investigate this further  I came across this address: 1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa

and it has 66.17850597 BTC. The last transaction was just two days ago.

But you are saying about BTC16.17850597 ... So now I'm confused. Did I find the wrong information?

EDIT: oh, sorry for the stupid question, it was obviously a typo, now I see it.
