12261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 200 Brock Lesnar Vs Mark Hunt on: June 07, 2016, 02:42:49 AM
Mark Hunt is kinda too small vs Lesnar though.  If Lesnar indeed is in no condition to get back in the octagon, then Hunt has the slight edge here.  I say slight due to his size.
12262  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: HYIP VS MINING on: June 07, 2016, 02:16:10 AM
HYIP is always a money making scheme for the schemers who created them.

Cloudmining however good the intention to make money for its clients usually fail.  Rising difficulty, the halving, equipment wear and tear and obsolescence are the odds the cloudminers must get over.

Stay away from both.  I tried Cloudhashing back in the day.  Guess what, no profit.
12263  Other / Off-topic / Re: Steady Way To earn Bitcoin Online... on: June 07, 2016, 02:11:23 AM
What advice can you give to someone who wants to earn bitcoins online ,however not through faucets

Learn to trade.  I cannot stress this enough.  We are stepping into the real 'new economy' here and there's money to be made.  Start small and practice trading.  Do all the hard work and try to grow your capital/bankroll.  When the big moves come you're there ready with both your capital and skills.  Good luck.

And of course join a sig campaign wouldn't hurt since you'll be on here posting away anyway.  Might as well get paid for creating your own content.
12264  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mining Sweden Shutting down Cloud Mining. on: June 07, 2016, 01:47:06 AM
As expected...  Most of these smaller cloud mining farms would eventually have to close shop.  Rising difficulty and the halving will have a big impact on the small miners, while all the all the power will gravitate towards the bigger mining farms.  I guess Satoshi didn't foresee the eventual invention of asic mining.

What was intended to be supported by all turned out to become a profit machine by the few.

How's the traffic lately?  Traffic has been going down across the board on all poker sites.  I wonder what the traffic is like on the BTC poker sites...
12266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: June 07, 2016, 01:01:03 AM
got some rumors:-

Lewandowski  > Real Mardrid
John Stones > Man City
Both Arsenal & Liverpool want to bid Vardy
I do not think that Real Madrid should buy Lewandoski because then they have another player that needs to play (him or Benzema) will end up on the bench just like James.

Manchester City is calling.  Lewandoski is needed there.  Yes, even with Aguero around.  Pep needs all the firepower he can get vs The Special One.  Grin
12267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is dying?! on: June 06, 2016, 01:38:14 PM
According to Mike Hearn's blog, he said the Bitcoin is failing and dying so he sold all his Bitcoin. Is it really true or it is just his marketing strategy?

I think a counter argument from people who are qualified like Peter Todd, Adam Back or G Maxwell should be read.  I'm pretty sure they might have said something about Mike Hearn's blog unless I missed something.

Please link their counter arguments in the thread if you can find them.  Thanks.
12268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will WAVES do better than LISK on the markets? on: June 06, 2016, 12:32:20 PM
We cannot really predict these things.  But what do you mean in saying 'do better'?  Do you mean their coin/tokens do well in the market or do you mean will the platform get enough users to become successful?
I mean how well their tokens will do on the market in terms of price and overall marketcap.

Of course we can't really predict these things as a certainty.

Ah then it's just a matter of common people and the big whales buying in, thereby increasing their marketcap.  That can be manipulated...  Easily.

On the other hand if their respective platforms do get enough meaningful users, that's a more solid statement that they 'did well'.  A lot of platforms were created and tried, but I have yet to see a truly successful platform in wide use today.

If they want to win, then they'd have to spend big.  But they can also make certain acquisitions 'money ball' style and get the bang for their buck of which Klopp is known for.  Hopefully he and their sporting director will work together to get good acquisitions.
Liverpool even unsuccessfully tried Moneyball but Leicester even succesfully I am was proud of it. Although many people say success of Leicester City is not because Ranieri only (indeed scout Leicester City also terrific), but the thing I admire about Ranieri is trying to recognize the strength of the squad itself and make tactics in accordance with strength of the squad existing, if the manager of Leicester City are hard man who impose themselves without understanding the formation of the squad, I think Leicester City will failed

I remember.  It was under Kenny Dalglish, a few years ago.  They claim it was moneyball but it hardly was.  Andy Carroll for one was a really expensive buy for his capabilities.  I think this will change under Klopp.  He did well at Dortmund, maybe he can translate that in the EPL.

12273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 06, 2016, 11:54:11 AM
With Mourinho and Pep in the EPL?  Nope...  Very doubtful Wenger can win the league.  And there's also Klopp and Pochettino to worry about.  With the right amount of luck they could outplay Arsenal out of the top 4.

Klopp is a joke right now, he wasted good chance to win the european league and I dont think that they will even be able to finish as top 4. Wenger has better chance in getting into top 4 of premier league next season and he always finish as top 4 almost every season so it wont be a hard task for him next season

Well he inherited Brendan Rodger's line up.  And they also have had their share of injuries due to Klopp's style of play which is unusually more strenuous to the players as I've read.  So he needs the players more of his liking.  Hopefully he gets them.

As for losing the Europa League, you can't blame it entirely to Klopp.  Getting to the finals vs Sevilla is no joke.  They've been winning that tournament lately.  So the must be doing something right.  I also heard that Monchi, their sporting director is quite good.

Unless liverpool give him big amount of money to sign new players, he wont be able to finish as top 4 in the league. He should habe choosen other club in premier league and now he should pity himself because he is stucked with liverpool, alot of other club would be willing to have him as their coach

You're talking as if Liverpool is a **** club.  It's not.  The reason Klopp was hired is to bring back its glory.  And this takes years.  If they wanted it right away, they should have hired someone like Mourinho and give him a big transfer kitty.

Looks like Vardy could be going to Arsenal if you believe the rumours.

not is only rumors, but is official, Vardy go to Arsenal and for me not have more sense, ok the next years Leichester can't win another time, but Arsenal can win ? I don't think.
Not is better play in champions league with Leichester?

You can't say like that because premier league hasn't start yet, wenger still have a chance in next because looking into arsenal team and arsenal finish as a runer up this season so i think he can fight with all best manager in premier league.

They've been saying that for years and years now.  But the results say everything.  Wenger needs to be replaced if Arsenal wants to win trophies.

I'm also interested in Liverpool's transfer window.  I hope Klopp gets all the players he needs.  He was kind of a flop last season because he inherited a team that wasn't of his choosing.  So their summer transfer window should be entertaining too.  Expect more Germans getting in the EPL.  Klopp + Guardiola acquisitions should make for a number of German footballers.
12279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: June 06, 2016, 02:03:26 AM
I think Carrick is being offered a 1 year contract.  Mata might go if Mourinho deems him as surplus for what he needs.  He was sold by Mou at Chelsea because he didn't defend much and lacked pace according to the reports.

I mostly agree of letting those players go.  But yeah, I hope Mata stays.  Man United is going to have one hell of a transfer window under Mourinho.  I hope they get to acquire the sporting director of Sevilla.  They say he's good.
12280  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best poker website with webclient? on: June 05, 2016, 07:16:40 PM
A simple google search found bitsPoker:  https://www.bitspoker.com/

I haven't tried it nor did I log in, but there are 69 players with 14 tables running.  Decent enough if you only need to pass the time.  I usually recommend pokerstars if you seriously want to get into poker.

Never heard of the site. Do some research before you play on it. 69 players which pretty much is non-existent on bitcoin forums could be just bots. Also saw this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=426447.0 , but no follow up on it.

Ah...  Thanks for the heads up.  I should have known.  I will edit my previous post.
