12261  Economy / Services / Re: Running a game on your PC on: August 30, 2015, 12:14:59 PM
Alright to answer your questions guys :

I found someone who is going to do this for 10$ for 1 week as I said however I'am still waiting to see the items in game if are tradable or not , if they aren't I may not do it .
you cannot run multiple clients (not with Sandboxie , no with Virtual machine and not with anything else) , game should be downloaded and cannot be played on browser (2GB size download)
12262  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best instant BTC trading site on: August 30, 2015, 09:06:35 AM
Greetings to all !

I am a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of sites offering BTC trading.
What I intend to to is profiting from the volatility of the BTC price in $ or €.

I would prefer a site that allows for instant action, so I do not have to wait for another member to sell/buy at the current price or a slow banktransfer to be executed.

If you are from the USA then it shouldn't be that hard to do I guess , take a look at this : http://heavy.com/tech/2013/12/best-buy-trade-bitcoin-website-sites/ so you should give Coinbase a try  looking at this :

Quote
Armed with only a bank account, you can buy Bitcoin from Coinbase fairly quickly and easily. Bitcoin has instant verification with Chase bank, so it’s the recommended choice if you have a few bank accounts. If you can’t afford a full Bitcoin (roughly $1000), don’t worry, you can buy portions of a Bitcoin. Coinbase will sell you as little as .01 of a Bitcoin, for about $10.

Basically I need someone with internet connection that dosen't go down, there is this game on Webzen (known company you can google for it) they are giving gifts to players who connect 2 hours straight without logging off once per account & per day .

So I need someone who could run the game for me (I need this from Tuesday) like 10-12 hours a day (basically 5-6 accounts that I will give him)
Note that this game work on some VPS and dosen't work on others so I'am not sure why and how . Let me know how much could you do this service for Smiley gracias
i can do this for you if you pay for it Cheesy
pm me with details Wink

Above user agreed to do this for 10$ for 1 week so I'am not sure about you . In case you take a lower offer then I will go with you otherwise I will stick to the other user Smiley
12264  Economy / Services / Re: Running a game on your PC on: August 30, 2015, 07:45:45 AM
I can do this as my computer is open most of the time as I only close my computer twice a month only for short interval cool down ....
my concern here is , does the game allow 5 to 6 accounts to be logged in at the same time? if yes then I can do this for you

Update: I just understood you said 2 hours , meaning using each account separately ... I can do this , regarding the price , I'm not sure as this is something new and you could tell me your offer , thanks

They don't allow such a thing , in fact they have some high level security for this you can't even run on VMWare or using SandBoxie so yes it has to be runed separately , once you get the gift , you log into the other account . for what comes to the price I really don't know but I was hoping something cheap Shocked since the items aren't really that valuable in game . let me know here or in PM
12265  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is buy and hold a good investment option with price around $230 - Aug 2015 on: August 30, 2015, 07:39:09 AM
Just looking for some opinions.  I know I can make 0.5% on my cash in the bank so I'm thinking to put a small percentage into buy and hold of bitcoins.

What do people think of this as an investment holding for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years?

If you are planning to hold for five years then this would be a good investement probably better then putting your money ini the bank , even if it's for one year it should be good since the halving block reward will happen 11 months from now , price should increase sooner or later but 5 years is a better option since there would be 2 halving blocks (the one 2016 and the other on 2020 I believe) Read this article aswell to get more info for how the halving will affect the price  : http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/03/13/how-will-2017s-block-reward-halving-affect-bitcoin-price/

12267  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitPlutos.com - Legit or scam ? on: August 30, 2015, 07:09:47 AM
This service is a compete SCAM.  They do not let you withdraw your BTC when you want to, the owner Damien is a complete scam artist.

Be warned.

You should post at least prooves for your accusations if you have any ..; since BitPlutos seems like he cleared up everything you said .
@BitPlutos , it would be nice if you make a announcement thread on the forums , that way we can follow news of the website and ask questions related to it etc ...
12268  Economy / Services / Re: Need Promoters on: August 29, 2015, 08:04:11 PM
Hello man ,
Referal looks interesting however what's exactly is considered as referal here ? does the referals have to be active for certain amount of time (I've seen those website that dosen't pay) , do they have to verify email or phone number ? or simply register on your link without any verification ?
I would definitly use this if it's not that hard to do but getting money from support ticket isn't really what a professional website would do. let me know
12269  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitkey.io How safe and legit they are ? on: August 29, 2015, 06:35:55 PM
Their project is abandoned and nobody has reported any bug or backdoor AFAIK. I think you can use it! I recommend Tails or BackTrack.

What do you mean by use Tails or BackTrack ? you mean instead of BitKey or along with it  Huh BackTrack is dead as far as I know so there is Kali linux now instead . but does Bitcoin wallets works on those Operating system at least

Instead of BitKey. Tails offer both privacy and security. Kali Linux is for especially penetration testing and digital forensic. You can go for Tails.

You are right. I got confused. BackTrack is rebuilt and distributed under the name Kali Linux but I got confused, which one is the former and which is the latter. Thanks for correcting!

You are welcome  Shocked I got an another question because it dosen't make sense to me when they ask you to run LiveCD thing how you are supposed to keep that watch-only or whatever you made on the LiveCD if you will reboot later ?
I thought LiveCD is only for testing and it's never saved or anything , I mean if I do something , reboot PC and re-enter again I will find everything gone , right ? At least this what I understood last time when I was installing Ubunu (not topic related to BTC) .

12271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make my coin community better... on: August 29, 2015, 06:03:24 PM
More advertising I suppose , you have to offer something that other people or other coins dosen't offer . For example you could do giveaways  for DopeCoin or do like HYPER DO , they offer HYPER for people who play on their servers for few games (CS:GO , Rust , etc ... ) . Simply give people a reason to explore your coin .
12272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / ChangeTip Users Can Now Turn Bitcoin Tips into Gift Cards on: August 29, 2015, 05:47:27 PM

ChangeTip users can now swap their digital currency tips for real-life goods, thanks to an integration with digital gift card provider Gyft

The bitcoin tipping service, which has raised $4.25m in funding to date, brands itself as a 'love button' for various social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and Reddit.

Until now, ChangeTip users could top up their accounts via Coinbase, bitcoin or credit/debit card, however they could only cash out in bitcoin. Following the firm's announcement yesterday evening, they now have the option to redeem gift cards from Starbucks, iTunes, Xbox and Amazon. They range from $1 all the way up to $2,000.

More info with the full article on Coindesk : http://www.coindesk.com/changetip-users-can-now-turn-bitcoin-tips-into-gift-cards/

I'am not sure about you guys but I really like this new feature even if I don't really use ChangeTip . Still ... good stuff
12273  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitkey.io How safe and legit they are ? on: August 29, 2015, 05:24:01 PM
I found this website called Bitkey.io however I'am not sure how legit this is to be honest .
I watched their video http://bitkey.io/img/screencast.webm but not sure what the hell is he doing , he only make Electrum wallet and the video is 35 minuts long but you can only see few seconds  Huh

Github wasen't updated since 1/2 years so I'am wondering how safe this is now and if there is backdoors or something or I'am good to go.
12274  Other / MultiBit / Re: Upgrade from Mutlibit Classic to Multibit HD? on: August 29, 2015, 10:31:31 AM
Hello

I'm new with Bitcoin and there is something I don't understand...

I used Multibit Classic version for one month. I understand that they created some files in a folder, and that it is our "wallet"?

But now I switched to Multibit HD. And there are no such file? I don't understand what happen if I lose my computer, and where are my bitcoins exactly?

It seems like I only need the "secret list of words" in order to get my bitcoin back, if I lose my computer for example. But it seems weird to me.

If I lose my computer. I can take another computer. install Multibit HD. Enter the list of words. And I'll have my Bitcoins back?? really?

Thanks for your explanations...

Yes those list of words are available on wallets like Multibit HD and Electrum (Desktop wallets) and they allow you reocver your wallet in case of computer failure or something else .
To upgrade , if you have .key file from the old wallet then keep that then you can upgrade , both version use .key file as far as I know (which contains your private keys)
12275  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to verify downloaded wallet signature ? on: August 29, 2015, 06:16:05 AM
ASC file contains the PGP signature. You have to fetch PGP key of the developer who signs it, signature and app. Then, you can verify app using a PGP software!

See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1094700.0.

Edit: https://www.torproject.org/docs/verifying-signatures.html.en explains it clearly.

Both links was pretty helpful , thank you so much Zakir Grin Appreciate the help
12276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Agar.io with "Bitcoin" as name? on: August 28, 2015, 11:17:55 AM
Yes why not , that could be a good idea however and instead of spamming the developper with shitload of emails you should use Change.org and get signature from people , it shouldn't be too hard I'am pretty sure a lot of people supports the idea (use Reddit and bitcointalk to collect them)
12277  Other / Beginners & Help / How to verify downloaded wallet signature ? on: August 28, 2015, 11:06:48 AM
Someone suggested me to add this on my thread right here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1152619.msg12161270#msg12161270
but I don't really know how to exactly check the downloads if they are legit or not , I most of the time just download with no questions asked (I know , not the best way) .
I know that there is that ASC file but not sure what I'am supposed to do with that .
So if anyone could tell me how , I prefer fully explained with details post so I link it to my [EDU] topic directly .
12278  Other / MultiBit / Re: MultiBit HD 0.1.3 released on: August 28, 2015, 10:41:48 AM
Good job man , I'am only waiting for the GUI laggy thing to get fixed honestly so I start using it once again .
"Various small user interface tidy ups" does that mean laggy gui fixed ? or what does it mean exactly
12279  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor vs. paper wallets. on: August 28, 2015, 10:13:53 AM
I would choose Case https://choosecase.com/ biometrically secured multi-signature bitcoin transactions is always a better choice  Grin It's expensive though .; (as I said when I have huge amounts)

Biometrics and Bitcoin is one of those things that seems like a good idea at first but isn't really. Fingerprints can be hacked in a variety of ways, and GSM tech too, which is what that wallet uses.

Looks good though.

Yup, Even fingerprints nowadays could be faked and the security of the wallet could easily be taken advantage. But what separates a Trezor wallet from a conventional paper wallet is the utility it offers to the end-user. You cannot easily import/export privkeys via paper wallet but you can do it fast in Trezor.

I'am not sure how it can be faked honestly unless he have your fingerprints from somewhere then yes probably , also for importing private keys I'am not sure how Trezor wallet works exactly but a simple scan of QR code using your smartphone is enough to import your private key for what comes to Paper wallet.
12280  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New to the forums and Need some info .... on: August 28, 2015, 09:28:56 AM
i doesn't said that i want hack anyone  Undecided i just ask if i have 1000 slaves are thats can help in mining ??
[/b]

No one is going to help you to do such a thing sadly however I can tell you something , you are probably going to infect normal users with normal PC's and I don't think you will get anything from that even if it's 1000 slaves .
So if you don't want to end up in jail or something , you should work hard to get your Bitcoin legally instead of infecting people with crap.

i don't want do this can u just told me what mean Signature Campaign and in what that can help me if i can get bitcoins with that i will start Signature Campaign
[/b]

Basically on Signature compaigns you advertise a website or a service on your signature on the forum , and the signature manager pay you for advertising just like Ads you see on website , it works exactly the same way .
However on this forum , each Rank have specific codes and colors limits that he can put on his signature . Overall , the higher rank you are , the better you see the signature .
Signature compaigns basically pay for members like Senior Members and above pretty good amounts , so what I would advice you is buy at least Full Member account and enroll on a compaign , check his for payout for each rank & for each signature compaign : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0
