12261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: July 15, 2016, 08:56:41 AM
Get a job, get a life, get a hobby (except gambling ofc) take a look and read on some site like gamblinghelp.org, ncpgambling.org or anysite like that else maybe it will works. Even when you had no money but if you're addicted to gambling you can't stay away from gambling.

Get a hobby that needs much time is really good for stay away from gambling, like playing online games with your friends. It will makes you forget about gambling.

It all depends upon your reason and purpose of gambling. If you consider it as your bread and butter, then better find a real life job, gambling won't give you those...playing online games could really help, but it is much time consuming and possibly could not learn anything from it, try hobbies that could give you skills... a good example is reconditioning old electronics that you have in the house...
Online games would also lead you to gambling as you can easily access gambling sites online, you should stay away with the internet and do physical activities instead like playing real life sports.

Yeah that's right, online games could also make you feel like you are still gambling. So I think that would just trigger you back to going back to gambling. Yeah, sports and any outdoor activities could make you avoid gambling easy..
Honestly it would be easy to stay away in gambling, you just need to invest your money intended for gambling.

Having that in mind you are forcing yourself to be an investor rather than a gambler,  if you continue to discipline making your investment regularly you will eventually lose interest in gambling especially when you started to see the value of your investment is growing.
12262  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: July 15, 2016, 08:52:31 AM
Bitcoin is already an international currency, it's used easily worldwide and nobody could ban it, it's even used a lot better than fiat sometimes.
I know if no one is able to stop bitcoin , but many are still many places that do not support the bitcoin . May be not only not support but did not accept bitcoin whose prices fluctuate because of fear of loss that would be obtained.
If you are living in a remote area then that is given that bitcoins will be useless, you an internet to operate the transactions and I can say the bitcoins have already gone to far in terms of success because even in our country many are already aware and using bitcoins.
In less developed countries they have already been using bitcoins although some establishments has not offered to accept bitcoins, the internet unites us in using bitcoins since it is internet money.
bitcoin is currently in the online media only as an investment. bitcoin is not fully free to be used as payment transactions, because everyone is not using bitcoin, and still rarely shops or the like which accept bitcoin. yes if we estimate possible use of bitcoin only a few percent of the entire population in the world. but in the future is likely Bitcoin to be an international currency.
Yup! as we are here on board now we should think of the future and we should do investment in the moment.

For me, doing investment will make us stay in the bitcoin world in a healthy way as along the way we can learn the basics and latest updates that would give us the confidence to invest more.
12263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 15, 2016, 08:48:58 AM
not recommend nowaday, or if you can find some new casino site...

It is a very bad idea of investing in new casino sites. They might run away with your money if their planned business didn't click so it is always better to invest on some good and old reputed sites to make some decent profits from these casino investments. Also, don't forget to diversify your investments to reduce your loses in the long run.
Investing in a casino alone is profitable but it does not mean that any casinos are profitable, investing with new one will give you a high risk that you could earn big or lose big, as an investor we want the safest way and I only see our goal will be achieve if we invest in established gambling sites although with little profit.
12264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: July 15, 2016, 07:49:13 AM
Is their any safe methods to gamble? Means without losing much of our money can gamble?

Any tips or suggestions?

There is no safe way to gamble, its all depend on your luck.
If you cant afford to lose your money on gambling so dont gambling with your own money. Try your luck with faucet/giveaway or other free money. Of course cant expect many profit from faucet/giveaway.

yeah and the safest method is to go with the site with free gamble, And once you win then use it to gamble to other sites but if you lose try to search for other site with free rolls, then is lose then I guess you are not really lucky in gambling Smiley

If really one wants to find free sites to gamble then better just play some video games or other online games to have fun instead of wasting time in finding free sites. Because anyway mostly we can't reach payout limit set for these free money sites so it is same as playing video games. There is no safe method in gambling.
Gambling without money at stake is boring, the fun experience together with the amount of money as reward are both important to feel the real thrill in gambling without the two we will not patronize gambling and of course we will not be addicted.
12265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again? on: July 15, 2016, 07:41:12 AM
Yes, it happened to me. Last autumn I decided to finally leave the gambling life. However, it took only a few months (until December) before I started gambling again. I wanted to leave because of the continuous losses. Now I'm back, but I'm not depositing any BTC left. I'll just play with small amounts, like faucets. Stay safe! And don't be greedy Cheesy
I want to say something here, if you can not control yourself and start to gamble again even after some commitments made to yourself then how do you think you will resist betting big out of over ambitious/greedy ?
Please try to develop some strong will to control yourself or else gambling can be very harmful.
If we decide of stopping gambling it should be for good and we should only decide to do it when we are already losing a huge amount of money that we cannot afford to lose anymore. In addition, if we feel that you are starting to ruin our relationship with our family we should immediately stop gambling.

12267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 15, 2016, 07:30:08 AM

Allen is a better fit in cleveland cavaliers, lebron needs him more than curry because the big 3 can do the thing and warriors are a bunch of 3 point shooting team. I will wait until allen wears a cavaliers uniform. LOL!

3 point shooter is now the main highlight of the game since the last season and warriors are actually doing good job in gathering most of the 3 point shooter star. The problem is that allen might not be interested in joining the cavaliers, he might be going with warriors instead of joining cavs though
Well, that would depend on the offer, allen has already achieve his dream to be champions and he made it with different teams so this time after being inactive for a season he would choose a team that pays him bigger than the other.
12268  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 15, 2016, 07:22:43 AM
Bitcoin is not very reliable way to get stable income if you are not experienced enough, i am not ready to make this step anyway. For me is enough that bitcoin is my side income.
Agreed, that is why more users are happy to earn in bitcoin because they can able to collect decent of bitcoin in their free time like me i only participating in signature campaign while im in the office but work first before bitcoin. And i think why i quit in my job if i am able to earn at the same time.
That is correct why you quit your job if you can earn at the same time. That is why i treat bitcoin as my other source of income because i can able to do every time i want without dictating me unlike in my job today because i have a boss while in bitcoin im the one who decide.
Well if you have a tough job, but maybe a little better salary you are looking for bitcoin only. but if it has a high salary, it is better to look for bitcoin while working, I think it would be fun. assuming that bitcoin looking like a hobby, so you will not be too depressed, and get a larger salary.
In my case I don't treat bitcoin as a hobby as I want to be working in bitcoin full time in the future that is why I am very serious of know the economy to have a good advantage in spotting the right investment.

I have a job but it is better to have freedom and I can only have that working with bitcoins.
12269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 15, 2016, 05:25:02 AM
If I was rich I would still gamble for fun. I love the thrill or the feeling of excitement while gambling. Gambling is not for becoming rich and most of the gambling is played by wealthy people. But even If I was rich I would gamble with a limit.
I think the poor has no right to play gambling for fun because they will always think of their money and that is not a good feeling in gambling because you will not be entertain as you are afraid to lose your money, better save it and play when you are rich already.
They can still gamble but they are prone to addiction as they can easily get frustrated especially when they lose so better not to try it as we know that gambling is very risky.

It is just good for the rich to gamble but I know they will just play if for fun and occasionally as the way it should be, rich are clever and know what they are doing and will do everything to protect their assets.
12270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 15, 2016, 05:18:29 AM
don't try it and i think better never trying invest at gambling site, it's like ponzi scheme, also the casino can manipulate total win and lost

I agree with you, although the casino has a house edge, which I believe homeowners should always prevail. but they could manipulate the investment fund, if they lose a lot.

That is true, and that is the risk one should take if they want to make money from these casino sites investments. So it is better to find an old and trusted sites to invest instead of putting our money on any new sites. Also, diversify your investments into few good sites to reduce your losses from this kind of issues.
invest in bitcoin casino needed a large bankroll, it is not worth if you only put $100 investment.
many casino offering low minimum investment below $100 , i dont think it will profitable.
however risking your money to invest in casino is better than have to gamble it directly.
That is just normal because investing in casinos offers only small interest of your investment so you are force to invest a decent amount in order to make money out from your investment, if you don't have a good amount then just don't bother to be an investor, better play and hope you win so you can shift to investing.
Well, small interest is better when you know you are in safe investment and I believe investing in casinos are safe when you know how to spot the legitimate casinos in the crypto world and due to many casinos have been coming out to start their operation you can easily diversify your investment.
12271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: July 15, 2016, 05:10:40 AM

It is undeniable truth that addiction to gambling is the reason why you can't avoid to leave, many of us here still saying that it is just for fun but deep in their mind they are planning or thinking of many ways to win and that fulfill they lust not knowing that it is already an addiction who's conquering their minds I just hope mind therapy can still helps or might also need many busy things to do to stay away or additional activities.

Yup! many gamblers are denying that they are already addicted in gambling, and many here are saying that gambling are just for fun but they are thinking about the price money or how much they can get from playing gambling because it is Undeniable that in playing gambling people have an aim when playing it and that is winning. and on the therapy case I think it can be cure by mind therapy.
It should start with our self by admitting that we are addicted in gambling otherwise even of the help of other people we won't listen and we don't have a chance to change our self for good.

Gambling addiction usually cannot be felt by our self by those people will notice it and if your family is telling you that you have that kind of problem we need to listen to them as they care so much that other people in the world.
12272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again? on: July 15, 2016, 05:02:11 AM
I only stop if ever i had lost my balance and keep coming back after a week. Im still trying and hoping that one day ill win big thats what keep me from coming back.

yes, all of us wants to win. even I wanting to have a good amount of winning someday.  Grin
But I can also manage my money in gambling, I can control myself in betting so when I stop I can actually go back whenever I wanted, Because I do have a money to gamble, yes not really a big amount but it is enough for me. I just trying my luck. Smiley
I have been thinking of winning many times but to no avail I was not able to achieve my dream and now I am already happy to accept that gambling is not for me and I have no chance to succeed in gambling if I long for money.
12273  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the next halving really matter that much? on: July 15, 2016, 04:43:59 AM
The next halving in 4 years will not matter much, as there will a lot more bitcoins in the circulation.
For me it matters because I believe that every halving will make the price increase and that is a good opportunity for the investors, we don't know yet that in the coming years we will achieve increase in adoption although the trend is telling us that it would happen.
12274  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin halving is real? on: July 15, 2016, 04:26:36 AM
Bitcoin halving just got started and its for real.were now only waiting for a price increase.
Not by now but may next month.
I think halving that happened was real and not done by some mining companies but it is interesting that some people expect it increases.
Of course that is real as it is already built in in the bitcoin as part of the system that it happen and nobody can cancel it, and it is also real that halving brought price increase because of the difficulty of mining so if you are an investor you have to bet on the price increase.
12275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: July 15, 2016, 04:02:37 AM
Altcoins are worth buying in 90% if they won't die.
I know its sounds really obvious, but it is not hard to check out if the alt have big chances,of surviving.
You need to get some knowledge about it,the most important thing is actually a volume.
I agree with you on that one, the volume is very important as it is an evidence that many have invested on a certain project and the price is controlled by the majority, I can say that big altcoins are The DAO and waves but both are not yet picking up so more time to buy.
12276  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: July 15, 2016, 03:59:13 AM
I think that i am gonna pick bitcoin in this contest because i don't know what to do with gold and how to invest it right. But anyway at my opinion gold is much more profitable as bitcoin.

Both are good as an investment, and it depends on an individual with which he is more comfortable, bitcoin is good for short term profits and gold can take care in long run.
I believe bitcoins are both good in short and long term investment, if you are a trader you can make money betting on the price fluctuation while if you are a long term investor you will benefit on the rise of price of bitcoins in the long run.

yeah that is right, I am using both the methods, I have my bitcoin and they will be with me for longer and in the meantime I do trade with it so with that I get both the profits, the value increase and the quantity increase of the bitcoin also.
This is good because we are making profit with bitcoins so no need to invest in other things like gold, we just need to improve our technique in trading and investing to maximize our profit if possible on a daily basis.
12277  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: July 15, 2016, 03:15:25 AM
I am thinking it will be a continuous rise, can't see a drop. It has been way too quiet lately and we are approaching the halving.
The halving is going to come pretty soon now and I believe that the price is going to rise after the halving but I am not sure about that.
If the price is going to drop that is also good because then I can buy again.
The Bitcoin is always going to rise again that is just how it goes but right now the price is a bit stable because the halving is coming.
I think that the price is going to rise again after the halving but I am not sure so do not quote me on it.
Did you searched about bitcoin? I think you came after a longer period as the halving has already taken place but no we are waiting for the effects of halving and we sure that sooner the effects will start and the price of bitcoin will increase to higher value.

yeah, the effects are coming and will come sooner and at that time we believe that the price of bitcoin will increase as the time is not long away when the supply will be slower and the demand will be constant or will increase and we will taste the increased price of bitcoin.

Next few months will be really interesting to see what will happen to the price of bitcoin, every one is hoping for price increase, lest hope bitcoin moves in a positive direction.
I wanna also ride with that speculation as I have invested a decent amount before the halving, I will still not gonna touch my bitcoins in my wallet as I believe on what majority is saying that price of bitcoins will rise after the halving. Maybe if this year ends and the price will not increase that would be the time to sell.
12278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone ever stop gambling? but then gamble again? on: July 14, 2016, 07:54:32 AM
I do, whenever I lose big amount of money in gambling I usually regret and think of stopping in gambling but days later I gamble again, it is really hard to stay away in gambling when you are hooked to it already, maybe we need to lose big to the point that we don't have money to gamble again.
12279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: July 14, 2016, 07:47:23 AM
Someone just argued with me that gambling can be done by kid too.. Huh

Not a good idea to train a kid to gamble for they may find it normal to gamble money intended for something else.
on the other hand its good to train kids about money so that at a nearly stage they see how to save and earn money. it is important so that they learn accounting.

Yes that's very true. If the foundation of the kid is revolved around gambling he could become a degenerate. I'm not saying that is 100% sure, but the odds are high will become one.

I didn't train my son in money, if someone gives him money he actually gave it to me. But he actually knows how to use money, and he knows that money can buy what you want. But of course depending of the amount that we are buying.  Grin

I know people who found about gambling at their home. Parents and relatives playing Mahjongs etc. But I've never really heard people training their kids hardcore to learn the game and master it.

There are some parents teaching their child how to use cards, and I know parents like them. And I guess my mother is one of them.  Grin
She teach us how to use and play the card for her to have a past time with us. And sometimes there are money involve while we are playing.  Grin

well your mother teaches you wrong doings in your child hood and really gambling is very bad thing you insert on kids minds its because it can brought them to be hook at it on their early stage of life and it can teach them to fool nor make some dirty works just to make their self win and thats one of the reasons why we dont really teach kids to do this instead we must teach them reading books thats fits for their age.

Yes, I agree that parents would be the one who will discipline and teach their children of good manners and right conduct, their should be the one who supervise their children of what is good and bad doings and gambling is one of the bad doings that children would do not learn.

yeah I know all of that i was just sharing my experience with my mother way way back, and for me that is also one of my unforgettable things that I've learn hahaha! But we didn't get really addicted that day, we were just really playing and our bet is just really quit small like just betting in a candy.  Grin
I know with bitcoins kids will be having an easy access in gambling, that is why it is not good to educate our children about bitcoins knowing they are curious and they will discover bitcoins in no time, it is better to take them away in things that would relate in gambling.
12280  Economy / Speculation / Re: how much gonna be 1 BTC in a year? on: July 14, 2016, 07:32:20 AM
Everyone hopes that the price over a year will be somewhere in the thousands but it is pretty hard to predict the price over an year. We just have to wait and see what is going to happen because predicting it is impossible.
After halving also price is not so high, We have to wait and make it big.

Yeah, most of our speculations are sometimes didn't happen, and we should expect the unexpected to happen, that is bitcoin, very much unpredictable, today we see it above $600 and some of us is not expecting that it will be at that price, but I think this $600+ would last a little longer..
I would be fine with that as long as the price will be greater that $600, I just hope it will not crash again and we will only see major improvement this year and many have predicted that this year is the awakening of bitcoins.
