Like I said, This community is becoming nothing more than a technical flaming fart.. I feel this is the most accurate way of describing a group of people who call company like Bitgold as anything other than amazing. It really shows how "intelligent the users are here".

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/goldmoney-inc-reports-july-key-120900870.html

Transaction  volume for the month of july $7,069,042 and they also added +105,373 (KYC) Know your customer validated accounts.

Bitgold right now is the fastest growing startup company in the world.

Bitgold or GoldMoney?

About BitGold Inc. (to be GoldMoney Inc.)

Google the following: site:https://www.bitgold.com goldmoney

This is the new company: https://www.goldmoney.com/. Operating under the auspices of BitGold is über confusing, especially if they're currently in the process of advising their brand to non-cryptocurrency enthusiasts, for as of now you and I are perplexed as to which entity named brand is behind the efforts since the official name is GoldMoney but the BitGold entity is doin' the advancing.

12283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: StakeMiners can be fully trusted and my former assessment was 100% uncalled for. on: August 08, 2015, 06:18:24 PM
We have had 2 people have We've had only two people who've encountered some problems with the Payment payment processor, both situations were cause caused because of either to much too many BTC being sent or not enough,. Luckily, Coinpayments now has automatic refunding which is all done thru the email through email. I am I'm not sure what the process is on thier their end but I do know it is it's working.

Also, i I saw a post on here stating something about A a super fast ROI,. StakeMiners has an ROI of about 220 days right now. We are doing our best to lower this time frame, however, we also know that ROI here is a little bit different than most cloud mining,. With us, your principle investment is always there safe. I do know of a couple accounts clients who who've made a profit after withdrawing, then withdrew their investment investments after 45 or more days only enjoyed having an account with us for approximately 45 days.

In spite of ...

Yes In this thread I try my best to go back and edit them for spelling errors. Sorry about that.

... it's quite obvious that Leroy Fodor, with his business degree from Ohio University in tow, doesn't have time to concern himself with spelling, grammatical errors and properly structuring sentences. Luckily, for him, he has me to fill that honorable role as atonement for him allowing me to see the light that Leroy Fodor is not, I repeat, NOT a scammer due to his constant revisions of history pertaining to his past, e.g., accolades, namely he being a retired-cum-not retired Forex trader, selling off his profitable commodity portfolio consisting of 380 consecutive successful trades so to buy and sell bitcoins in 2009, then later operating the largest solar power bitcoin mining farm in all the Philippines, a fact because all the Filipinos told him that that was the case prior to it, and three other businesses he and his wife, Katrina, ran, burnt to the ground by fire of unknown origin on December 8, 2012, hence the Fodor's GoFundMe campaign: http://www.gofundme.com/1pbo38. But not to be deterred, in 2014 Leroy Fodor picked himself back up from the non-proverbial ashes and rebuilt the once again largest bitcoin mining farm in all the Philippines sans the use of solar panels (currently in the works) via the amassing of satoshis and altshis from faucets, then parlaying them by only making sound trades using some sort of system, later shared at free seminars he conducted across the Philippines, where others who heeded his orations built their own profitable mining operations accordingly, as they, too, were able to ROI in ONLY three months, then they (among others) flocked to invest in Leroy's StakeMiners so that they can repeat their previous success and ROI in now ONLY approximately six months (currently, 220 days), with constant efforts to decease that timeframe, for if not, some investors may opt to end their relationship with StakeMiners, forfeiting 30% of their investment as for-being-special thanks for having the privilege to participate in the venerated endeavor.

Now, I know some of yous are thinking that the above account reads like a The Orion piece, but trust me, it's honestly true and I'm not lying.

Please consider investing in StakeMiners, but ONLY IF you have extra moneys to lose with the promise it'll be parlayed so that you'll ROI at the end of the day.
12284  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is the IRS going to tax me if I change my bitcoins to cash ? on: August 08, 2015, 07:30:27 AM
What happens if you find ten one-hundred-dollar bills on the street. Does one need to file taxes that.

Do I have to pay taxes if a friend gives me $599 worth of goats because he no longer desires them?

i don't think they are the same thing , with the first you can go away and not declare anything because they will never know about it, but it is taxable ....

the second should not be taxed because it was already taxed, presumably

How did you know my friend taxed them goats to death prior to endowing them to me?

Anybody else enjoys tons of butter on their toasts  Huh

Not tons, but enough, then fold it, then dip it into a fresh cup of coffee. Come to think of it, that's exactly what I'm goin' do now. Thanks for the idea, bud. Dilemma! 2 or 4 slices?

EDIT: It was 4. Now, I'm enjoying the buttery coffee, having a smoke, and taking a shit.
12286  Other / Off-topic / Re: My personal and very unexpected investment plan on: August 08, 2015, 07:11:28 AM
Okay, folks, it's been 40 years now that I've started to smoke cigarettes.

Currently, I smoke two packs a day. Which is a daily expense of 16.20 Swiss Francs. Unless I work more - then it's a bit more.

There are only few cigis left in my package. And once I've smoked them - I quit.

Well, at least that's my plan. A plan I had a couple of times before. This time, it is different. At the end of every month, I'll invest the money I would have spent for cigarettes in Bitcoins. Here's the wallet address:

1AEADz9tqeSzut47C5v293ioACv1TbBDt7

Currently, this would be about two BTC a month - depending where the price goes. So let's see how much I'll have at the end of the year...

Promise to not take up shrooms as a replacement.  Wink or Tongue

A woman goes to a psychiatrist. She is very disturbed.

- She says, Doctor, what am I to do? My husband is acting very strangely.

The psychiatrist has the woman sit down. He asks her:

- What is your husband doing?

The woman says:

- Every time he drinks coffee, he eats the cup leaving only the handle.

The psychiatrist puts down his pen and rubs his beard. He looks her in the eye and says:

- Ihat is very strange indeed. The handle is the best part.

...

- What is your husband doing?

The woman says:

- Every time he eats my pussy, he doesn't lick my ass.

...

- ... Licking ass is the best part.

This is still th biggest hinderance to bitcoin getting mass recognition.

It is far to unsafe to store any real wealth in for the average person.

I concur with that vinyl wallets and ladies' purses are also unsafe to store any real wealth for the average person. When are people goin' to start protecting their assets? Just the other day I read somewhere that some dude put his wealth in the hands of some third-party dude who just showed up on the scene outta nowhere. He's now braggin' to others about how safe this newly found dude's business is and that all should join in on the fun via espousing the adage, "A rising tide raises the Ponzi ship."
12292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New essay seriously questions Bitcoin's future success on: August 08, 2015, 02:43:58 AM
Some powerful economic and historical arguments here, and what governments could do to defeat Bitcoin...

http://moraluniversal.com/en/why-bitcoin-cannot-win/

"Money is the product of society, just as Bitcoin is the product of a society of computers. Money needs the greatest human network to succeed, just as the Bitcoin blockchain needs the greatest computer consensus. This network and consensus, however imperfect, is ultimately provided by the state in modern societies, just as it was the case in the many cases of recoinage and remonetization throughout history. For as long as we have states that strong and accepted by people, for better or worse, Bitcoin will remain a substitute currency."

I'm goin' get a fresh cup of coffee now, then read the kindly linked article.

I'm pretty sure that all extinct currencies were once based upon their then modern society, e.g., the Romans weren't using nor accepting fish bones or seashells to or for trade. That said, what ever argument that's presented, US dollars, et al., could easily be added to the list of why-<insert>-cannot-win.

EDIT: Read it.

The author also wrote: Have you sold it to the NSA? At what price?
12293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 175 Quadrillion Zimbabwean Dollars Now Equals 0.02164502 BTC on: August 08, 2015, 02:38:08 AM
The Zimbabwe dollar is worthless. They're literally not worth the paper they're printed on (or at least they're not worth what they cost to make)

So, are you saying that a country could go broke if the printing cost for their currency exceeds what the denominations are worth?

<just my penny's worth of opinion>
12294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Casualty List (redux) | List of fallen Bitcoin entities: 200+ count & ascending. on: August 08, 2015, 02:30:20 AM
Thanks to TKeenan's initial effort, the original list was started here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1026885

Since I've personally contributed over 100 entries to the list below, and it now has reached the 200 count milestone, I opted to start a new thread in my control so better to represent the demise of Bitcoin-themed endeavors.

By doing such, I would no longer need to continue to bump the growing list that consist of not one, but two entries per inclusions due to have taken the time to alphabetize the entries so others can easily see what has or hasn't been included. All that'll be needed now is the master list in this OP, with subsequent posts dedicated to the offering up of additions and comments.

In time (as an ongoing project), I may tackle linking the entire list entries, along with adding to them their start and end-of-operation dates, also linked, accomplishing said feat all on one line per entry. I will also (as per projected) make sure that the list is alphabetically correct, along with the entity's name presented as accurate as possible, correcting erratum along the way as others kindly provide their inputs.

Seeking four three two entities starting with the letters Q, U, Y and Z.

A band of British spies walk into a German bar.
- Remember - not a word in English, - one says.
(to a barman)
- (in German) Do you have a table large enough to accommodate our party?
- How many in your party and have you been here before? - the German barman asks.
- Nine and no... I mean neun and nein.
- Counterintelligence officers drink free. - said the barman. - To be frank, you nailed the British accent.

Right now - Association, "Never My Love" - but my playlist has a fairly wide range of music on it. Almost no country, though (and what little I like tends to be old CLASSIC country, Sun Records era Cash for example), and I'm one of those that believe that the "c" in rap is silent.

Or at the other extreme, e.g. (not i.e.), "c" rhymes with...
