Yes omahapoker , they don't have protection against Hardware keyloggers but he said they are working on it for the moment . also personally , I don't see how in the hell someone will simply plug something in your PC without you noticing to be honest , this could never happen to me and I sometimes thank god because Bitcoin isn't known here , that should decrease of me being a target even if I don't really have that much . ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Any proofs that he indeed said that? Hardware keyloggers are much harder to protect against due to the fact that the keystrokes are intercepted before entering the computer. Many computers have IO at the back and thats usually where most people plug their keyboard and mice into. Most people don't bother to look at the back of their computer before using it and most won't notice it. I'am not sure why would I lie about it honestly ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) but here you go the proof : ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2Fp1NfDpl.png&t=663&c=Db_tJjXlQbiF2g)

Coinbase does not provide private key to users when using their wallet (Not vault). This can be insecure as there is an central point of failure. If they happen to have an extended unplanned downtime, you would be having problems trying to access it. I would suggest you not to use Coinbase as your primary wallet. Blockchain.info will be a better choice for browser-based wallet.
However, the best choice is Bitcoin Core if you have the resources to run. Check out Mycelium too if you have Android smartphone.
For a browser based wallet, Blockchain.info isn't a good choice at all. Blockchain.info have a long history [1][2][3] for being inconsistent with their security. Even though they supposedly don't store unencrypted private key in their database. The most recent one[4] being them not checking the transactions if they are valid. This can potentially open up an potential attack for merchants using their API. [1]http://blog.blockchain.com/2014/12/08/blockchain-info-security-disclosure/ [2]http://blog.blockchain.com/2015/05/28/android-wallet-security-update/ [3]http://www.forbes.com/sites/thomasbrewster/2015/02/24/blockchain-and-darknet-hacks-lead-to-epic-bitcoin-losses/ [4]https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3frn1d/satoshis_coins_have_not_moved_blockchaininfo_is/ It's really users fault if they don't use 2FA authentification and use week passwords to be honest , Blockchain.info only have the .dat files on their servers (physical servers) which is protected 24/7 all the time . Bottom line is : If you use strong passwords , and don't download random crap then you will never get hacked. Also here is the answer of one of their staff when i asked about few things concerning security just yesterday : ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F7bqL2gS.png&t=663&c=DEI1l4AVYQ5sng)

If Bitcoin XT grows in network power and adapted by majority then it's time to sell all I have. But if XT remains a soft fork and is rejected by the network then it is the time for me to buy more and more Bitcoins.
the amount of xt nodes is rising every day. i think we'll stay at least a few more weeks or maybe more than a month in current price drama. only time will tell what's going to happen. Nodes dosen't seem to matter as far as I know and I saw last time a topic speaking about BitcoinXT using Azure , DigitalOcean and those hosting companies that offer free trials . the most important is Hashing power and we are now at 3 mined blocks (third mined today) How much time it take to mine a block on bitcoin XT. Because 3 blocks is really very low for that much time. And what about the difficulty on bitcoin XT, I believe it will be very low because of low hashing power. Yes difficulty is pretty low right now I guess and they are mining like 1 per day or little bit less as you can see this chart http://xtnodes.com/xt_blocks_pie_chart.php

I'am not familiar with eBay or how it works and I will speak about my self here , if I were you I would just open a dispute right now because he could transfer the money to another account and he will just have a negative blanace on his PayPal after that in case you win the dispute and you won't get your money back . It's illogic to sell with that price since he could sell it for more . even current price + 10%

just made a wallet with coin base, would like thoughts of people for this wallet also about wallets in general.. Thanks!
I assume that Coinbase.com don't have Two Factor authentifcation ? If not then you should switch to Blockchain.info and use 2FA (SMS is the most secure probably) just don't give your phone to random people and use strong password , that if you really want an online wallet . Otherwise you should go with somethinglike Electrum (Desktop wallet) and it's available for various Operating systems (Windows , Mac, Linux) (not sure about phone) , you could also recover your wallet from 13 words in case of computer failure or something

Just a quick question....
In the opening post it says that the payment period runs for 7 days and that one will get paid out within the same hour.
I've gone past that and nothing has happened yet, not that worried about the payment but I'm over the limit for my posts and all the posts I'm doing now basically do not count towards next weeks payment as its seen as 'over the limit' posts.
When will the counter reset for the next 7 day period?
The issue that the bot encountered might've delayed payments by a few hours (I can see that your payment is today, in the next couple hours). I'll have Bitcoin Boy add a 'Next Payment' field on the stat page ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Contacted you as you requested last time for the bug of payment .I hope I will get an answer ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) thank you !

So my question is basically .; What's going to happen exactly in case Gavin & Mike hearn fails to implent BitcoinXT , with other words in case they don't have the 75% hashing power before 11 January 2016 What are their plans exactly and why 11 January and not another date ? If 11 January means anything , does it mean if they fail now they will try on January 2017 once again ?
You misunderstood If 75% does not reach before Jan 11 2016, it will keep continues counting the XT blocks. As long as 750 or the last 1000 blocks reach, it will fork within 2 weeks to let the minority to merge. The date is not a finish line, its a starting line. Lol ? So basically the only way to stop all the panic going on right now is to follow them ? Satoshi should think seriously on stepping up with a PGP signed message this time ... BitcoinXT wins then , nodes are increasing daily (maybe free hosting trials yeah) but they are having blocks mined aswell and there is no way to stop that ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Thank you for the answer !

VCC are basically like your normal credit card but it can only be used online as it doesn't have any plastic card that comes with it. The main risk is that the other party would also know the number hence he can potentially wipe if off. Otherwise, the card could have been stolen and it would be invalidated.
I just need it to pay online, to buy a Domain, He provided me that card info, and I bought that Domain, I dont how it work next, is there no Issue, using that? Can someone tell me best Virtual card Providing Site?Definitly Neteller , they provide Virtual credit cards , I suppose that the first is free and then you start to pay 3$ for each one (not sure about that though) They do have method to deposit using BTC however you should know that you can't spend that money to withraw or purchase , you can only send it to other people or sites that actually use Neteller (most of gambling websites does) . I just want to use it, Online stores, like amazon, Godaddy ebay etc. I know advcash is providing these virtual cards but they need varification Which I dont want. You can do that however the deposit shouldn't be from BTC deposits otherwise you can't use them and Neteller also have verification process and you should send them your ID or passport and wait little bit to get confirmed . I tried with Advcash and even with real documents they didn't accept me for some reasons so I dropped it out .

to all of you guys.. what do you think is better? is it to invest or to gamble in sites? tell me your point of view and why.
For me I never recommend anyone to gamble b ecause gambling is losing money , if it was full profit we would all be rich , righT ? most of people don't know when to stop and end up losing shitload of money . Bitcoin it self is an investement , price is low right now and could get lower little bit more , so buy then and hold for long term .
