12361  Economy / Reputation / Re: A dude left me invalid feedback. on: February 20, 2017, 10:41:44 PM
Really dude? Enough this forum is dying, loses 60% of memebers by doing this

The forum has not lost 60% of it's members because of negative feedback  - 60% of accounts were created just to spam.    Undecided

Lol he left me negative feedback for no FUCKING REASON, I've been memeber since 2013, I never had such situation like this but yeah it's seems like I'm done here.

Well this forum is only for singature kids to make cent, I'm ready to help those people who are spamming 24/7 days well I'm saying it again, the forum is dying but why dude?
This forum is fucked already by the signature kids and ads / tagging innocent people. Cool
If you didn't buy this account, you'll have to take it up with each person who left you those feedbacks.  However I'm inclined to believe you did buy it, just because account sales are so rampant on this forum and a posting gap like yours and a changed e-mail and a changed writing style...yeah, that's usually a dead giveaway.  But I'm not leaving you any feedback so don't yell at me.

Bought account? Are you fucking serious? Changing email? I've changed the email 3 TIMES believe or not I'm not writing a statement about my property poor signature dumbass bitch.
<Sigh>  I'm not sig spamming here, and I told you I'm not the one leaving feedback here.  This is an issue I feel strongly about, hence my post.  Take a look at my feedback and you'll see 1) I've left tons of negs for account dealers, and 2) I've got many, many retaliatory feedbacks as a result.  Just get used to it, that's the way this forum is because of the way the trust system is set up.  If you've really been here since 2013 you would know this.
12362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Apple, Microsoft, Mercedes Benz Accepting Bitcoin on: February 20, 2017, 01:37:33 AM
If that is the truth, I can say it is a very good news. I believe it will increase the use of bitcoin. It is a positive development for big companies to accept bitcoin.
Google Play Store and Apple Store will be a very serious ad impact if they come with bitcoin support.

Um...you got a reference on MB accepting bitcoin?  Haven't heard that, but that's cool if it's true.

But honestly I don't care much who takes it, because bitcoin is a lousy, deflating currency which--because of deflation AND volatility--keeps people from spending it.  I don't think I'd buy a Benz with bitcoin even if I had enough.

On the contrary, the price of bitcoin is constantly increasing. After some negative news, it's a price drop. But the price is recovering short time.
Deflation, the opposite of inflation.  Inflation is when the value of your money goes down.  Bitcoin keeps gaining in value, hence it's deflating.  I do believe I'm using the terms correctly, but there's always the chance I'm wrong.
12363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: eBay / Paypal / Bitcoin Scam!! on: February 20, 2017, 01:17:05 AM
I am sorry for your loss.

I will point some coin at ck-solo pool

If it hits I will send you some coin.

halp meh too Smiley
Start your own thread, you turd.

OP, the only solution is your local law enforcement and the court system in your country.  I highly doubt anyone on this forum is going to be able to help you.  That's the problem with PayPal and bitcoin---they don't mix when your counterparty is untrusted.

12365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best, cheapest place for Cryptocurrency exchanges? on: February 20, 2017, 12:55:43 AM
Any exchange, even Yobit, can do what you want.  Poloniex isn't bad, and they're one of the most reputable nowadays.  The fees on both Yobit and Polo are pretty reasonable, just don't keep any coins with them.  Then there are Chinese exchanges...but I'd stay far away from China if I were you.  They're doing some major 'renovations' with respect to crypto and the law.
12366  Economy / Services / Re: Hi , Read this i need a job :c on: February 20, 2017, 12:51:21 AM
First makes your account trusted there with a good rank and then register for any signature campaign , or comes up with skills or any service

Hi, I introduce my name in Michell Sandoval and I am from a country in economic crisis called Venezuela in which people survive with a monthly salary of $ 15, which is not enough to cover the expenses of any person, much less those of a family for This reason I ask you to give me the opportunity to have a decent salary in bitcoins in exchange for any task that you ask me to feed my family as they deserve. I hope you will understand me

Thanks and blessings
STFU.  People should not be encouraged to come here to fuck up the forum with shitposting.  Bitcointalk is not a place for anyone to get a job.  I don't care where you're from, go out into the real world and try to find something.  Goddamn people need to stop bringing babies into their world of poverty and starvation.  Have some sense and use a rubber.  Venezuela's got to have places to work, no?
12367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the Bitcoin Network if a World war Starts? on: February 19, 2017, 10:14:27 PM
Trump is a potential threat to world peace
Fixed that for you.  Trump is the worst thing to happen to the world since Adolph Hitler, and I'm hoping he'll die in office somehow.  So if WW3 breaks out?  Given the state of our collective weapons, we're probably all screwed and bitcoin should be the last of our worries.  Eating and living under a roof are two things that immediately come to mind as things that won't be taken for granted anymore.  Trump would probably find a way to blow up the whole internet--and there won't be anymore bitcoin to speak of.
12368  Other / Meta / Re: Is bitcointalk preparing for 100 million users as bitcoin grows? on: February 19, 2017, 07:19:37 PM
100 million forum members, I think it's only theorical thing. Until now, bitcointalk have less than million registered users, and half of these users didn't made single post. I predict that real number of active bitcointalk users is around 100k people.
If bitcoin community will grow, it doesn't means that all these people will use bitcointalk. Not everyone is interested in discussions, signature campaign, spamming, ranting and etc. They only will use bitcoin as a currency.
But if forum community will grow, bitcointalk will need for more staff to control everything.
I doubt it's even close to 100k unique members.  There are so many farmed accounts and alts, that I wouldn't be surprised if there are only a few thousand members.   100 million?   Yeah, it'd be a huge shit show at that point, but that's not going to happen.  I don't know any forum that can boast that many members.   I do think we need a new ranking system,  because pretty soon the legendary tag is going to be meaningless.
12369  Economy / Services / Re: you need review articles ?, price me only 0,025 btc on: February 19, 2017, 06:41:47 PM
Can barely write English and I bet he can't write in any language,  including whatever his primary one is.  Dipshits like this one never fail to come out of the woodwork when bitcoin soars.
12370  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Will Spike Over 65% After Winkelvoss ETF on: February 19, 2017, 02:39:16 AM
to clarify and explain a few details:

the winkles already bought their bitcoin for their trust YEARS ago.

their ETF is not the actual bitcoin price. but a SHARE price of the COMPANY(trust) the winkles own.

do not confuse the ETF with bitcoin. they are 2 different things.

...
now with that said. when/IF the ETF is released people may convert their retirement portfolio's to include ETF shares. (not affecting the bitcoin price)
but may prompt people to SEPARATELY find out more about bitcoin and SEPARATELY try to buy real bitcoins (not ETF shares).

issues with buying real bitcoins though, is the headache of buying bitcoin, due to all the registration requirements and maximum spend limits of exchanges will limit large whales.

so the ETF can cause a chain reaction. but how soon and how much this chain reaction may cause.. is an unknown variable
I do understand this, but somehow I doubt that them creating an ETF based on bitcoin will have an appreciable effect on the price.  That's just a hunch.  I also doubt that it's going to stimulate interest in people who otherwise wouldn't have heard about it--unless some Wall Street firms decide to buy in or something like that.  But the average Joe?  Probably not.
12371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things you didn't get when you first came to Bitcoin. on: February 19, 2017, 02:36:15 AM
The whole thing was baffling to me at first, just the simple mechanics of sending and receiving bitcoin.  I'm not a tech/math geek, so the fundamentals of the cryptography involved did (and still do) escape me.  But I found that I really didn't need to understand the math behind bitcoin to use it, much like I don't need to understand everything that goes on with my bank in order to use a debit card.

I didn't own bitcoin back when Mt. Gox was in action, but I remember the huge discrepancy in price between them and other exchanges, and that had me scratching my head.  It definitely was obvious that it was incredibly risky to have money on that exchange, hence its price was so much higher than everyone else.  The fact that there were so many unregulated fly-by-night exchanges was weird, too.  And it's still weird to me.
12372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Warning] Dash is actively engaging in forms of censorship. on: February 19, 2017, 02:14:40 AM
Don't most altcoin threads and whatever do self-moderated threads?  Qtum, that new one, does and I've seen other ones with the same thing.  I can't stand self-modded threads and censorship, but you've seen altcoin trolls on this forum and elsewhere.  People love to troll and troll.  But all of them need to have uncensored criticism.  It's certainly shady as all fuck when stuff gets turned into an echo chamber, as you put it.

Edit:  I'm actually a member of the Dash forum, and it kinda sucks anyway.  Not much going on there.
12373  Economy / Economics / Re: Washington Post declares Bitcoin dead - R.I.P. on: February 18, 2017, 09:46:35 PM
Fighting for survival?  Er, the market says otherwise.

I really hate most financial and business journalism, much like when the media reports on drugs and science.  They tend to mess everything up.  But with business it's so much worse.  The same bunch of cliches get repeated ad nauseam.  Not surprised they know absolutely nothing about bitcoin.
12374  Other / Meta / Re: This is real? on: February 18, 2017, 09:14:18 PM
What a dumbass that guy is, doing that.  Just report the post and I'm sure it'll get nuked and the thread will be re-interred.  Drives me nuts when people do that--I can't tell if he's wearing a signature because I have sigs blocked, but he's been posting quite a bit.  Doubtless to get paid.  Never ends on this forum.
12375  Economy / Reputation / Re: [User Generated] - Known alts of anyone on: February 18, 2017, 04:36:37 AM

I personally don't like the use of the "N" word and that's all I'm going to say on that matter.

I agree.
Also i thought the Pharmacist always complained about others shitposting?
Fair enough maybe in off topic, but this racial(ist) sterotype posting in more serious discussion is BS.

Kids eh?

Serious discussions?  Pretty much every thread on this forum has been infected with shitpostococculous aureus, methicillin-resistant no less, and there's very little worth reading.  If you think HBW's posts are offensive, that's fine, but shitposting?  Really?  Take the stick out of your asses, both of you.  Words can't hurt you, and at least the posts aren't generic "I use bitcoin because it good currency to make profit from trading and gambling...blah, blah, blah." that you see coming from sig shitposters all the time.  Tell me you aren't sick of those.

At least you read HBW's posts.  That's more than most people do, so I'll give you that.
12376  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New scammer is Here ( Mixan ) on: February 18, 2017, 04:06:52 AM
Frankly, I'm not inclined to remove my negative even if he pays this off.  Red feedback indicates that you don't trust the recipient of said red, and would any of you trust mixan after his extremely public psychiatric meltdown here?  I sure as hell wouldn't, and I think the red needs to stay as a warning to others.
12377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google Trends: a big rise in interest in bitcoin specially in Africa on: February 18, 2017, 01:41:31 AM
I wonder what prompted this sudden interest from Nigeria especially?
Is Nigeria's currency somewhat unstable at the moment or are the scammers there just discovering Bitcoin all of a sudden?
That's the first thing I thought, all the Nigerian scammers.  But who knows?  From what I've read on this forum there are quite a few Africans interested in bitcoin.  It's an asset that's made a lot of money for a lot of people, so it really isn't surprising to me that it's a big thing worldwide.  Go Africa!!
12378  Economy / Goods / Re: selling Samsung galaxy Tab4 for 0.20BTC on: February 17, 2017, 07:43:13 PM
OP, no one is going to pay you 0.2 btc for your phone.  Shit like that would probably not sell even at a reasonable price,  and $200 for your used phone is not reasonable.   You seem very naive.  Try getting out in the real world a while and see how things operate.
12379  Economy / Economics / Re: What if? Just asking opinion on: February 17, 2017, 06:39:16 PM
You kind of answered your own question there.  If anything collapsed the power grid, bitcoin would be worthless.   Precious metals would be the go-to asset, with guns and food.  But would a war cause that worldwide?   Probably not.
12380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we ReBrand Bitcoin? on: February 16, 2017, 12:31:17 AM
Nah, we're doing just fine with bitcoin as it is.  The media wouldn't be having any of it anyway, and it isn't like most people are aware of what bitcoin is anyway.   I see from the poll that most people here agree...so this is kind of dead in the water.
