does anyone else see the irony of the State being actively involved in developing the very tools that will eventually undermine the immense power they so lust?  the Internet itself was developed by the military in conjunction with academia, Tor was developed by the Dept of the Navy, and now NATO is developing the Internet in a Suitcase?  no wonder i'm so bullish on Bitcoin.

Digging their own graves. Delicious, isn't it?

yes it is.  where can i buy one of those suitcases?  do they come with rollers?  i'll take one in red with leather.

i just returned a Windows 8 computer to Best Buy b/c i couldn't install Ubuntu due to the new bootloader Microsoft is employing to block competition.  i hated the new Windows 8 Start page as well.

personally, i think Msft is doomed.  their stock price is dropping once again and i'm considering shorting them.

Here's  a relevant article to this discussion:

Syria's Internet Outage and the Future of Information Warfare

this was a great article, as i had articulated earlier this week that the rebels, in fact, had just as much of a motive to disrupt Internet communications within Syria as the gov't.

ya know, i was thinking that the new Keccak SHA 3 really isn't up to my standards.  perhaps i should develop an alternative over the weekend.  would this be helpful?  Wink

Silver is really pulling away from Gold the last few weeks...

Anyone think its possible that Gold goes under $1500 while Silver makes new all time highs above $50?

Yes.  Gold:Silver is way high.

In my limited experience with the commodities market, Gold and Silver have almost traded in lock step.  Its a very strange feeling that I get when I see Silver diverging from Gold...

I have been confident in my bullish Gold predictions here mostly due to the bullish features of Silver... now it seems that the two PMs may separate.  Good thing Im only actually invested in Silver and BTC, no Gold for me at the moment Cheesy.

just when you think you're on to something:
