1241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Palm Beach's November Pick ??? on: November 09, 2017, 07:29:02 PM
So you rather have them dump the 98 billion coins on day 1 instead of promoting solar for 40 years  Huh

Yes that is better, that way the coin will have a solid base price from the beginning instead of having a slow death when printing that huge amount of coins, no one in his right mind will want to be for the long term in that project but if the printed those coins from the beginning then people will have a certainty about the coin supply.
1242  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: November 09, 2017, 01:12:52 AM
It can also happen if its leaders are starting to get corrupt
Politicians have always being corrupt if they were not then they will not be politicians in the first place that is why politicians in every single country of the world have a very bad reputation and it is not surprising since they are always looking for ways to benefit themselves.
1243  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Internet Marketing on: November 09, 2017, 01:02:05 AM
this is a multi trillion dollar industry. There are no 'experts' in internet marketing. Only people that know how to stay ahead of the curve by constantly testing, trying and learning.
But by definition that is an expert, just do not fall for the scam that is very common on the internet when some expert is willing to give his secrets to make money, if he was indeed an expert he will never sell his secrets and instead he will be making a lot of money.
1244  Economy / Economics / Re: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE A NASTY DIVORCE AND A FAT BTC WALLET? on: November 09, 2017, 12:57:30 AM
Well if you don't reveal how much buying power you could have with these FAT BTC WALLET that shouldn't be a problem i guess, but i wonder is that true that these kind of proceedings would involve cryptocurrencies as part of your assets as well, lawfully? Well if really a NASTY divorce happens i wouldn't give a single Satoshi unless court order me to do so or having my dear children separated. How painful it was to giving up your precious investment assests considering BTC is at its infant stage to another NASTY person who took your wealth as granted? Hell noooooooooo

This should teach us a lesson you need to be very careful to who you choose as a couple, seeing stories of people turning on each other after they were deeply in love is not strange, so if you need to hide your bitcoin from your soon to be ex wife then you made a mistake in choosing the right person to marry.

Hey, things change, people change. You can only try, truth be told sometimes people just fall out of love in a very bad way. An example look at couples who win the lottery, they ever hardly stay together.
Those kind of things happen but at the same time  when choosing a partner you need to evaluate that as well, people marry for some of the most dumb reasons only to find out the person they married was completely different from the very beginning and unfortunately that is something that is very common in these days.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to participate in ICO's? on: November 09, 2017, 12:54:19 AM
Right now there are many ICOs coming out, is it really safe to participate in any of it and spend that much? In participating ICOs I have high hopes that these coins could be the next Bitcoin or other currencies that are really going up in the market.
You should never think of icos as a safe investment in fact it is the complete opposite, you can lose all your money immediately if it was just a scam, and even if the project is legit that does not mean that the project it is going to be successful since you need good developers and a good idea.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Give me a coin that will easily go 3x on: November 09, 2017, 12:43:05 AM
just do your own research, idon't know why you are asking this question! if you listen to the fucking people , you just gonna lose money
you will buy last and sell last  Grin
There is nothing wrong with hearing some advice once in a while but at the same time no matter what kind of advice we receive we need to be very careful and make a through analysis about what are the possible implications of an investment in a coin that way we are going to avoid to make many mistakes.
1247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If bitcoin can be used in gambling. Is it possible to use it casino? on: November 07, 2017, 08:54:31 PM
I have no idea if casino will ever accept bitcoin as exchange for chips that is used in gambling.

Many more casino accept bitcoin now and they used this coins as an alternate of chips.we usually this found  in las vegas the  biggest  casino amusement center in the whole world.bitcoins can used as bet or wager in gambling like fiat money that   change into casino chips.
I am sure about all those people who think that casinos are a better way to earn money. Even the expert gamblers who have been into this their whole life, they always advice to keep yourself away from this fatal game. But still, there are some fools who are gambling and see their foolish level, they bet and gamble in bitcoin. Wow, clapping for them and pity for them too.

I read already many physical casinos are accepting bitcoins for availing their services. Other than online requirements and time confusing
At the end of the day if people want to waste their money that is their call, I do not gamble but I have know people that gamble, some are able to control it but some other go too far and lose more money they can afford and this is the kind of people that are always struggling to pay their bills.
1248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold my Bitcoin today on: November 07, 2017, 08:47:59 PM
Yes, I did say that blindly holding just Bitcoin is not worth it. It's always a bad move to move into an asset class without diversifying that part of your portfolio, unless you literally don't care about potential losses or missing out on profits elsewhere.

Blindly holding Bitcoin and a couple of other things certainly isn't for everyone but it has served me extremely well so far.

The thing that separates this from almost every other 'investment' is the absolute unknowability of its eventual fate. The people who end up penniless and insane via crypto are the ones who spout the most confident predictions and opinions which almost always are total clueless shit.

I was already diversified before I got in and there's certainly not been any worthwhile profit elsewhere that I've missed. That's partially down to markets but also my own indifference to investigating other things.

Well, holding is a strategy that is known to work not only in bitcoin but in the stock market as well, someone holding Google stocks from the beginning has made a lot of profits, obviously if someone bought stocks of a useless company holding will be counterproductive.
1249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Still Go Up? on: November 07, 2017, 08:44:09 PM
Now that it's been proven there are many other alternatives to Bitcoin which have advantages such as quicker transactions, smaller fees, and higher mining profitability, I don't see a reason to think Bitcoin will get to $10,000.

Will the price of Bitcoin still go up? It seems so outdated when compared to its competitors.
If you cannot see the reason for bitcoin to reach that price then the only thing I can think is that you are not looking hard enough, bitcoin is the best coin out there and that is not going to change anytime soon so you better get used to it and be ready because there is a chance that bitcoin reaches that price before the end of this year.
1250  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: November 07, 2017, 08:24:24 PM
is bitcoin more popular than US Dollar ?

Both of them are popular, but in terms of being use, Dollar is still prevail than Bitcoin, but in terms of trading in the exchange market of crypto currency industry bitcoin is much more popular than Dollar.
There is no doubt that bitcoin is not as popular as the US dollar but who cares, right now bitcoin is not something that you should use to spend in useless stuff, bitcoin is something that you save for the future since the price is growing and there does not seem to be a limit to how big the price can grow.
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin end or destroy in this month?? on: November 02, 2017, 07:15:11 PM
I have made SOOOOOO much money ignoring shit like this.  Roll Eyes
And that is because these kind of predictions ignore reality, when you look at the evidence it is obvious that bitcoin is going up a lot faster than many of us thought it could be possible I think we are getting close to a breakthrough in bitcoin and if that is the case 7000 dollars per bitcoin is going to seem cheap in the near future.
1252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predictions of where bitcoin will be by the the end of 2018 on: November 02, 2017, 07:12:34 PM
Where does everyone think bitcoin will be by the end of 2018?

I'm interested to see where everyone thinks bitcoin is headed, like value wise and how people would have adapted to it.
Anything can happen next year, a crash, a fork that gets everyone's attention, a new crypto that will revolutionize the market, more countries banning btc exchangers, etc. The only thing i'm sure is Bitcoin going mainstream next year, especially with those rumours about how Amazon could implement BTC as a payment method, who knows, right? but one way or another, btc is going to blow up next year. Value wise, i believe we could reach 10k in January.
While technically anything can happen at the same time the scenario in which bitcoin crashes is very unlikely, bitcoin is very strong at the moment and if bitcoin goes mainstream in the next year then there is no way the price is going to go below the current levels.
Well I think it’s sure and confirm that the price will be high because the way bitcoin is going popular and strong now a days so there is no doubt that bitcoin be on the top of all currencies but to find the exact figure it’s very hard to say because it’s a digital currency and its related with a trade so I think it’s very hard to do prediction about it.
And bitcoin is showing its strength once again, look at the huge price increase, bitcoin once again going up in value and it is now above 7000 in the first days of November, it seems the prediction that bitcoin could reach 10000 dollars before the end of the year is slowly becoming a reality.
1253  Economy / Economics / Re: Was Bitcoin actually just a Pump and Dump? on: November 02, 2017, 07:09:43 PM
I am not saying that this is impossible but pumping and dumping bitcoin is highly unlikely.  First there are a lot of coins that are really cheap that they can pump and dump. Second pumping and dumping bitcoin will take billions to influence the market. Third there are a lot of bitcoin investors who are already educated with the bitcoin projection, even though Bitcoin price drops this people  will not  panic sell they will just hold it. There are a lot of assets like stocks, commodities or alt coins that they can pump and dump so bitcoin is most likely they will avoid.

If they can pump and dump bitcoin most likely this are group of filthy rich , influential and very greedy people.
The pump and dump in the cryptocurrency market like bitcoin is very possible because since it is decentralized then there are no basis for the possible movement or there are no patterns that the bitcoin market is following because it is completely dependent to the demand of the people in the market. It doesn't mean that if it is expensive then the pump and dump is not possible because pump and dump is applicable to all of the markets and kinds of stocks like cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin has the pump and dump, you have to remember there's no reason can makes the price of Bitcoin increased to $6,000 and keep its price until today. The price of Bitcoin controlled by the whale, therefore, when they don't want to the price of Bitcoin decreases, they buy a huge amount of Bitcoin and create the bullish trend in the market.
I do not think that whales can create bullish trends, they will need to invest more money in bitcoin at bad prices and that is not what they do, what they are experts in doing is in dumping the price of bitcoin thanks to their huge stashes of coins then when the price gets that low they buy their bitcoin at cheaper prices than the price they sold.
1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves hold for longterm Good or Not? on: November 02, 2017, 07:02:33 PM
Oh no, why you set all your money in one kind of coins. It has much risk. you should use 1 BTC to buy an altcoin such as Storj or Litecoin,...and wait until the price increase.
Diversifying is a great strategy but at the same time things are not as simple, if you see a good project and you believe in it and you are sure of your investment because you have made a very deep research then it is fine you invest a significant amount of money in the project.
1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 World Cup qualifications, UEFA zone, discussion and information thread on: November 01, 2017, 09:43:46 PM
Yes Italy big favourite, what will happen in Italy if italian team will not qualify, national tragedy and economic crisis, big loses for bar owners. If we look last Italy performences thay are really ;poor, big striking problems, but Italy will qualify .Other Denmark-Irerland will be interesting,Erickssen is booming in Totenham but Ireland will fight,

Italy historically never looked as the strongest candidate to take the world cup and yet they have done so in 4 different occasions, they have problems qualifying and then they have problems getting to the next rounds in the world cup, but somehow most of the time they overcome all of those obstacles.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 50k$ in which coin would make you a millionaire in 1-2 years? on: November 01, 2017, 09:41:35 PM
SONM and Blocklancer. Both still in their infancy with huge upside potential. SONM seems like it could x5 to x10~ in a few months, and then gain further once the beta goes live next year. And Blocklancer is predestined to succeed simply because of the market that it tries to play in. Something like 60-40 should very easily crack the million in 1-2 years.
SONM is a coin that I’m watching but that I’m still undecided can you tell to me, or anyone for that matter for a reason to be that low, why the price crashed so badly when it was one of the most hyped projects just a few months ago, that is something that I would like to know.
Because of FUD and market manipulation. Also timing. SONM showed up at a time where the amount of ICOs multiplied dramatically, so it's much more difficult to identify good projects.

Also, most people in crypto just follow the crowd like sheep, without knowing what they are doing. So there is a lot of stupid money in pointless projects, and less money in good projects which require patience.

SONM is one of the projects that require patience in exchange for large and realistic returns.

This time next year SONM should be anywhere from $1 to $3 stable. It could be even higher it a lot of fresh money flows into crypto but that would be a very optimistic estimate. Meanwhile $1 to $3 is fairly conservative for this market.
Thanks for the through answer not many members in this forum will take the time to give such a detailed answer, may I ask, where is SONM being traded because I’m interested in getting some, not much since I don’t have enough money to afford a lot.
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Palm Beach's November Pick ??? on: November 01, 2017, 09:37:56 PM
Circulating supply: 37M
Max supply: 98B

Price at the moment: 0.24$
MC at the moment: 9M

If the price per coin would be only stable until the last locked coin is released, this project should have a marketcap of 24B - nearly like Ethereum at the moment.

What ever will happen in Portugal - this coin looks like an absolutely no-go for longterm traders. No matter if fake or no fake. And even for shortterm traders looks this coin a bit overvalued...
Grin

Well, we have our answer if anything that coins is only for speculators, no one in his right mind should invest a single dollar in a long term investment in that coin, that is why I always look for projects that distribute most of the coins from the very beginning.

MY ANALYSIS - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNRo0jmH14c

What do you guys think about it?

It will need a significant amount of time before that happens, if it happens at all, the coins does not seem to have a wide application like many of the coins with the highest market cap and that is going to severally limit the interest of investors and what you can do with that coin.
1259  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: November 01, 2017, 09:31:06 PM
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much

I agree with you. I think after 5 years of staying in bitcoin, the bitcoin value would become stable. The bitcoin price will increase and that is not impossible. Bitcoin after 5 years will be the new currency of the world. It will be known worldwide. It will be use in business, home, school, etc. I think bitcoin will be one of the solutions in fighting against poverty. Also I think that bitcoin will change the world because if there would be an increase on the bitcoin price,  then it will attract more investors and if we have more investors then, they can allot a higher salary and income for every workers in the world.
There is no way for the price of bitcoin to become stable in such a short time frame, especially if we take into consideration that bitcoin is slowly gaining ground against fiat, so I think we are going to see an even bigger volatility but with a clear tendency to go up.
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you find interesting ICO ? on: October 31, 2017, 08:16:48 PM
The best source to get information early about any new project is bitcointalk only. Look into the announcements section. I am sure that there are plenty of projects that have not been popularised in the twitter or telegram groups in the altcoin announcements section of bitcointalk.
Sometimes it can be difficult to find what you are looking in the announcements sections of the forum, there have been instances in which I opened that page and then reloaded 5 minutes later only to see all the threads changing right in front of my eyes, that section is very active and finding new projects can be a challenge.
