Lol, Pornhub. They were hyping this news so much that people probably expected at least a partnership with some sizable tech company and not with a porn streaming provider. This project is so shady it hurts.
Well if you sell your holdings and then the token moons, its natural to feel as if you made a mistake, the same with buying too early/late or something similar. It is much less stressful if you hold your tokens, the ones that you believe in strongly and ignore the fluctuations of the market.
I have been very careful lately when deciding in which ICOs should I invest so I went only for the incoming NEX exchange (won the lottery), but there are a bunch of others that would be worth getting into as aforementioned Block Collider, NKN, Eligma and others.
Even newbies can invest in solid projects with a little bit of research and an ability of critical thinking. At the same time they learn how to avoid scams, phishing attempts etc.
I am/would for a sizable sum (reward wise). But if the reward is of a small nature, it is just not worth the risk as you can rapidly find scans of your ID-s on the deep web markets if something goes wrong.
Not much to be honest (at least not much for western standards). I have had a plan to invest every month 100 bucks but then I started bounty hunting so the earnings from my bounty activities replaced my fiat investments over time.
I doubt they are banning accounts just because they are retweeting crypto related posts. They are only banning bot-like accounts and those are common on the bounty hunting scene.
For a long term holding plan you should stick with infrastructure projects, Dapps can "disappear" rapidly but infrastructures will live on (of course you have to research them first so you wont choose garbage). My picks would be EOS, Icon, Aion, Zilliqa, Wanchain etc.
I definitely share the sentiment that decentralized exchanges are the future, I am only a bit worried that the common traders will stick with the centralized ones, so there may be liquidity issues when trading on the decentralized ones.
Its just a natural consolidation which happens even in a bull market, mostly once or twice a week (weekends). So no need to worry for now, but we still have to see if we are really in a bull trend or this recent pump was just a bear trap.
I mean most people are using either Delta or Blockfolio. Delta also has a desktop version of the app but it seems that it cant be used without the smart phone syncing, which is a huge bummer imo.
Pretty sure that MEW will be victorious by a landslide. Rightfully so, its super easy and simple to use and very safe if you know what are you doing and not falling for phishing attempts etc.
