.25 BTC silver coin.... thought about going bigger but it's a gift for my boss....so I didn't want to go too crazy since I'm going to fund it too.  He'll just think it cost me a little over .25 btc... Smiley

Excellent choice - it is perfect as a gift Smiley
It is an absolutely beautiful coin.
You might want to keep it, when you see IRL Wink

Alternatively idea for you:

You could buy a DIY coin (Do it your self). E.g. Serp made some great coins which is very reasonable priced.

Then could you make a vanity address, e.g. 1no382.........   or something similar, 6 digit vanity should take less than a week to find on a normal office PC.

Then assemble the coin, load it with what ever funds you want to give to your friend. Then will the "1no382" be visual through the window of the hologram.

Great idea....I'll look into this.  In the meantime, I bought one from smoothie with 382 on the hologram.  Thanks again.

Awesome, I am a big fan of smoothies coins.
Congrats Smiley

What coin did you buy?

I am considering to put one more Casascius St. Petersburg Bowl coin on the market.

I will give the followers of this thread a head start:
Write or send me your best offer and I will perhaps be tempted to let it go (my minimum price is 0.5 BTC).
1244  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: [Sold] 2014 Casascius St. Petersburg Bowl coin [2nd Market] on: March 06, 2015, 11:03:11 AM
No! I really love this coin. I actually wanted to buy it Sad

Yep, it is a beautiful coin for sure - I love this one too Smiley

The buyer contacted me before there was any reply or question in the thread, and I marked the thread as "Sale is pending" as soon as there was a sale in progress, not to disappoint anybody.
Perhaps the coin was even listed too cheap, it only took 1 day to find a buyer.

Good luck with finding another one, I am sure there will come one up for sale at some point, be fast to pull the trigger Smiley

Anyone have a coinographic, crypolator, microsoul, etc. physical coin that is numbered 382???  I'm looking to get one as a gift so this specific number has meaning to the recipient.

I think it will be likely to find a Lealana coin with that number.
Each of Lealana's coin types have its own serial number, there are 5 different types of Lealana physical bitcoin (1, 0.5, 0.25, 0.1 and 0.1 Brass).

If you include Litecoins in your search will you also increase your chance.

Sale is pending.

Is the price negotiable ? I was always really interested with this coin.

"only a sith deals in absolutes"

Nevertheless, I have a sale pending right now from another user.
Sale is not final yet, I will announce here if coin is sold or still available.

Thank you for showing interest Smiley

1252  Economy / Speculation / Re: This a good time to buy? on: March 04, 2015, 12:49:04 PM
Dollar cost average - start buying now, and buy a bit every week till you spend the amount you have for bitcoin purchases.

^^
Pro tip right there - I totally agree.
1253  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: GoldBits - Newbie scammer on: March 04, 2015, 12:47:45 PM
So, I bought btc back with the money that I got for the coin.

Since btc price went up so much in past few days, in total I got about 4.1BTC for the $1450cad that I got for the coin, for which i paid 4BTC.

So, for ALL of this; 0.1BTC profit.

sigh...

You would properly have been better of rolling those 4 BTC on Prime dice with 97.5% chance of winning, this would given you 0.1 BTC in profit.
1254  Economy / Speculation / Re: This a good time to buy? on: March 04, 2015, 12:34:13 PM
Or should I wait for a drop?

Yes, it is a very good time to buy all types of none-fiat based assets right now (Gold is also a very good alternative).
But only if you are not looking for a quick profit.

If you are ready to buy and sit back and wait for 3-10 years, then buy now - else play the money on the dice.

1256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first Bitcoin , what now ? on: March 04, 2015, 09:38:39 AM
Hello,

Alright , once I did about 0.8 BTC but ended up using them all . which I decided to not do anymore (let me know if it's the wise thing to do right now or not ) .
Now I have about 1.2 BTC which are full profit (Signature compaigns , Digital goods selling ,etc ...) because I never buy Bitcoin and only earn them . (two months btw) , Still not sure what I should do with them , should I keep holding them since the price seems like rising lately and keep making more Bitcoins ? Note I'am 18 years old and I have nothing to lose if I hold them , I don't pay any bills , food or anything .

Simply drop your suggestions below and no trolling please . Open discussion Wink

I suggest that you make a super secure paper wallet, seal it, load it with exactly 1 BTC. Promise your self never to sell in 10 years (no matter what).
Keep the remaining 0.27439918 in your hot wallet so you have some funds to play around with.

1258  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] 2015 China PANDA 10¥ Yuan Coin PCGS MS69 and MS70 on: March 03, 2015, 11:26:25 PM
I would be willing to order them and re ship them out if people wanted. How many do we need to order for it to be worth while?

I think for a U.S. residents will it not make a different if buying 1 or X.

I tried to type in a random shipping address into libertycoin.com (United States, OH, 44106)
Shipping was free, total payment $59 for 1xMS70.

$35.75 for the MS69.

Edit:
At libertycoin prices, with drop shipping through Blazedout419 then would I properly take 2-3 coins.
1259  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Would you buy a bitcoin candle? on: March 03, 2015, 11:15:54 PM
You could make the candle into a bitcoin storage.

Engrave a metal plate with a private key and place it in the core of the candle.
The public key (or QR code) should be on the outside of the candle so you can load coins into the candle.

Yes, the idea sounds complete stupid, it has one advantage though, a block candle can take up to 20 hour to burn down,
so this will give you some extra time to "cool down" before you panic dump your coins doing a dip or send them to primedice on a loosing streak.
1260  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] 2015 China PANDA 10¥ Yuan Coin PCGS MS69 and MS70 on: March 03, 2015, 10:55:42 PM
Sorry to jump in your thread, but I want some graded Panada's at a fair price if you have extra!

No problem, feel free to join the hunt Smiley

If there is a enough interest, then could an option also be to order direct from libertycoin to a US address (free shipping in most states).

For me is it just silly to pay $59 for one MS70 + $50 in shipping to EU and be guaranteed to pay VAT on top - it will end up being an very expensive coin (something like $140).
