I bought in on this... https://obsidianplatform.com/Anyone else? I like that it offers 100% POS and have an option to run masternode to host the network. The downside...it is only offered through Cryptopia for now.

I can afford to "gamble" with my current EMC2 stash because all of it is from earnings from sales of the original purchase.
I actually believe it will go higher...it has a fan base/support and with less coins out there, the price should go up. How much and when is the question.

EMC2 value has already raised a lot by the time the news spread out, do you think it will go in even higher levels?
yes I expect 3 - 3,5k sat Sad me...I bought in at 3,047 sat on 9/29/17... ...that is after almost doubling my money after an initial sell though . I actually wish I bought as many the 2nd round. I am HODLing this time.

https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@waragnarok/strategies-to-pick-low-market-cap-projectsLots of good advice is this article. Snapshot is below: How long do I have to hold this coin to start seeing major movement in the development? SAFEX - There is a wallet already, and shockingly, the alpha blockchain is being developed right now and is planned for release in this 4th quarter. This is huge. SIGT - Their version of a Marketplace and web wallets(web wallet still says coming soon, but is labeled as beta) are in beta already, the signatum pay and signatum exchanges I was unable to find more information about. Marketplace seemed to have major disadvantages for the coin itself. Listing fee is too low at .15% ( industry average is upwards of 6%, there is zero reason to cut all your profits like that and playing the walmart game always concerns me.) in addition to that, the buyer pays for it. I can't seem to find any barrier for entry to be a seller. ODN - It is too unclear what major developments are in the pipeline. We know there's a messenger, outside of that the future is unannounced and could range from a messenger only coin - to taking us to the moon. We simply have no idea. Thanks! Searched here for ODN as I believe it will be big and found your post. I hope SIGT pops...I am holding some of it.

Can someone elaborate on the difference between NEO & GAS? BTW, they share the same website , I could not find info regarding GAS.
An analogy, Say Toyota is NEO. If you buy a Corolla (like RPX to NEO)...you will need GAS to run it. Gas is consumable while NEO is not. IF NEO get traction and become a hit like ETH, all those tokens that run using NEO platform/engine will use GAS. Imagine the competition for that limited supply and how much developers/users will pay for it if that happens.

Thanks all. I read many different sides and learned lots. I appreciate the input. Now, I hope I can put these to good (and actual) use.

All are good... but for me, I hold many ARK, a little ZRX, and no WAVES. My portfolio constantly changes so it may be be different tomorrow.

Based on the market cap and on the coin's total supply and on its 2018 Radmap, how much do you think the ark coin could grow in the mid of 2018?
Do you see it on 8$ - 10$ ?
Is it possible considering market cap, total coin's supply and 2018 Roadmap?
It is possible but for more realistic goal, use LSK as a reference since it is a fork of it and have almost same amount of coin. Future value wise, I am with the $5.00 group for now. Being DPOS, collecting coins weekly (about 10% annual return via that alone) is a bonus too.

What is the highest price you think NEO will go by end of next year?
Up until all the China FUD, it was following the exact same historical trend as ETH (in a compressed/accelerated manner). Barring any major FUD (again) I'd say it will be in the $300-$400 range next year. Not sure if this is only a wishful thinking though LOL.

It is a big scam and I wonder why only now people are starting to notice it.
I've never used Tether and will never...it doesn't have any investment value...all loss and risk.

Holy coin supply! Yep, I posted a thread about it before the ICO...and is the main reason I am not touching KIN.

Between the two, I prefer OMG but I prefer NEO and ARK over both

anyone got September issue ? plz share
I got the September Issue, GAS and NEO was extensively talked about, which as you see the price exploded this week. Also NEO. Some stocks and they say 4000% ROI. Other then that very similar to August issue. Does anyone know how much this subscription costs every month? I was able to just get september from a friend. I believe it is $3,000 subscription per annum? Whales subscribe to this. BTW, all the talk about OMG...no one read the part about GAS and NEO??? :p

What I can say is I bought XRP when I was new then dumped it when I got educated a bit. I now own LINK, nuff said.

KNC and LINK are the new ones to watch...

With Korea banning ICO's as well we can expect NEO to drop again.
Much of the recent rise was due to the increase in NEO from Korea.
Whats the relationship? NEO in not an ICO. RPX ICO is coming but the whitelist closed way prior.

Well it's a easy way to manipulate the market. Your tokens are 100% non mineable so no worrying about dumps from multipools and you get the benefit of 5% of the supply being in circulation but gaining the marketcap of 100% of the supply making their rankings on sites like www.coinmarketcap.com over inflated. This to try gain attention of people thinking it's some great project. This will imo kill off innovation when money is so easily made with just an idea and marketing. Outside of bitcoin... ETH, Gulden and syscoin are the ones pushing blockchain innovation and these ICOs are beating these coins in rankings (Gulden and syscoin). In the case of Gulden they have merchants being added daily in the Netherlands and still only ranking 90th. I agree but there are many that are innovating. I worry that easy access to cash is being exploited by many and since they get the money up front some (or most) no longer have the same motivation to go further. I believe that tightening on ICO is a good thing. Besides, most of the time, ICO's are geared to benefit the wealthy anyway. I don't have $50,000 or $250,000 that most good ICO require. Based on my limited research, the ones that require less (and don't get sold out right away) are usually the bad ones. The poor usually get victimized. JMHO

Its correcting now. You might be able to get it for under $30.
But the trend is up, and I don't see that changing anytime soon as the FUD diminishes.
Near $30 now...

I don't think NEO would look back. Though I still have loss at the current price, I believe NEO would soon reach at least $50 at the end of this year.
I do agree with you on NEO, the price will likely keep going up until the Red-pulse ICO has passed, NRO is one of the few tokens to hold now if it leave up to the expectation as China Ethereum it will surely surpass Ethereum price or equal its growth When you say NRO do you mean Qtum? I'm definitely thinking about buying it I'm sure he meant NEO ...isn't qtum way off??? LOL
