Hi All Looking for Beta Testers for the new pool. http://www.miningpool.coAll comments, questions and suggestions welcome. I think I got an orphan block, but your site doesn't show it: [2013-08-12 14:28:17] Accepted 18722cb8 Diff 686K/910 BLOCK! GPU 0 would be nice to have verification it's an orphan. my timezone is US/EST Also, please indicate tz offset in your pages, or standardize everything on UTC. Last block shows '2013-08-13 03:59:43' but UTC time would be '2013-08-12 18:59:43+0000' I checked the last 1000 transactions on the client and there have been no orphans. I think the block you mention above was: 47429 125.0031 darianc 64 2013-08-13 03:56:44 315700.5459 Will add the timezone offset in next update. Current timezone of all records is set to Australia/Adelaide • Adelaide, Australia Time Offset: UTC/GMT +9.5 • Eastern Daylight Time Offset: UTC/GMT -4

Which version you guys using? 1.1 or 1.2? I guess 1.2 is the one to use?
Try 1.2. I installed 1.2 on a new machine and I'm trying to sync it. It's sitting at 6084, but I'm going to let it run overnight and see if it can get on the right chain. If enough of us get on the right chain, this fork will be a thing of the past. Key is the pools, we should keep the same versions as used by the pools. Could do with some more hashing power at http://www.miningpool.co

Network Hashrate: 421.273 MH/s ! Unless it just jumped in the last minute I am seeing the network hashrate (from both pools) as 92.51 MH/s ..?

Should I turn the pool off?
I guess your pool is running on linux ... download my blockchain (for 2 days ago) install it and sync up to the current block. Restart your pool ..... once that is done I'm back in ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Tried this and kept getting the following error ************************ EXCEPTION: St13runtime_error CDB() : can't open database file blkindex.dat, error 22 Philosopherstone in AppInit()
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error' what(): CDB() : can't open database file blkindex.dat, error 22

Hi All Looking for Beta Testers for the new pool. http://www.miningpool.coAll comments, questions and suggestions welcome. umm... Spent almost three hours mining at +800Kh/s and still my account balance (account mret) and other counters say 0 mec. Dunno if there's a biggish delay in those stats (though somewhere you mention 1 hour), but I'll leave it at that for now. The 1000 mec reward is nice but kinda hard amongst the megahashers ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) My cgminer stats Summary of runtime statistics:

Confirms are very slow with Megacoin at the moment. A block that was found 6 hours ago only has 37 confirms so far!! This is not the pools fault. The pool pays out after 120 confirms - the shortest time possible with Megacoin according to the source code. Sorry for the delay, but again its not the pools fault. Interestingly when multipool jumps on Megacoin the confirmations speed up alot!

(- sorting of "Top Hashrates" doesent seem to work properly. at the time i write 792 > 3.694)
I see the problem now - will fix this shortly.

Hi All Looking for Beta Testers for the new pool. http://www.miningpool.coAll comments, questions and suggestions welcome. Ok - to get the ball rolling am offering 1000 MEC to the first 10 unique users who find a block on the pool. i jumped in in your pool and give it a try. My first impressions: Pro: - nice clean interface. - lots of information - nice looking graphs Cons: - pool fee to high (2%), i advice a maximum of 1% or on donation basis (- sorting of "Top Hashrates" doesent seem to work properly. at the time i write 792 > 3.694) - Reduced the fee to 1% - The hashrates are displayed with a comma - so 3.694 is actually 3,694

Check out the 48 Hours graph from www.miningpool.coShowing difficulty and network hashrate. The difficulty algorithm definitely needs tweaking. Multipool starts mining as soon as the difficulty drops - difficulty then rockets again and multipool leaves after only an hours or so leaving the difficulty very high for many hours until it drops again suddenly and then the whole cycle repeats itself. Seems algo responds well to increases in hash rate up but not so well when the hashrate drops. I believe the multipool is doing no one any favours by this including their own users - but they are not about to go away so it needs to be dealt with. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi41.tinypic.com%2Fb6oll0.jpg&t=663&c=pi6Af3L7P3Qf1A)

Hi All Looking for Beta Testers for the new pool. http://www.miningpool.coAll comments, questions and suggestions welcome. Ok - to get the ball rolling am offering 1000 MEC to the first 10 unique users who find a block on the pool. That's a very generous offer! I would jump in, but your stratum doesn't connect. My bad, I was using the wrong one. Your site looks sharp, but it's a little unusual to navigate. Yes, I am already thinking of ways to improve the site navigation / structure.
