1241  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: June 14, 2017, 02:44:28 AM
A mysterious ex-Cryptsy employee crawls out of the shadows ? Shocked

An interesting proposition but unlikely ultimately.. i agree this ain't Butters / ETH.
Bruno's idea is interesting too and i have no objections.. he is trust worthy i figure.

I think Coinbase should have their feet held to the fire for their Cryptsy link.
They can't claim they didn't know.
Lets put it into perspective.
Any exchange or service would be suspicious if vast amounts of money were moving.
You simply don't turn a blind eye to that as a business operator.

I've alleged before GOX took off with anywhere from a half billion to 1 billion.
Depending on how you want to add it all up.
In today's money that is far higher and even then we had no fork to recover the funds.

And i did NOT support the ETH fork either.. i figured it set a bad precedent.
So we would have that fire rage on in the Bitcoin scene like happened with Ethereum way back.
It's not like Bitcoin'ers are going to get anything done either..
Look at BTC.. it's pretty much failed because of scaling issues.. sadly  Cry

Class action bad ?
I dunno i guess i see that point of view also.
But i guess the users who lost money see it as a chance to get something vs nothing.
I didn't lose squat so you have to debate that with them.. it's their choice.

@olowshinenine
Never heard of that service but it sounds like LocalBitcoins.. which i have used.
Why did you use that place vs the famous one that is trusted ?
LBC is good just follow the rules and you should be fine.
I had a couple guys before try and rip me off on it but i just laughed at them and left them a negative feedback.
For example if you are selling Bitcoin.. don't hit "Release" until you have been paid in full.
No matter how much they try and convince you "it's coming"
So i'd say it's a good setup and it worked well for me.. i only sold BTC on it though.
Just remember if it seems to good to be true.. it probably is Wink
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Initial Coin Offering - We want to do it right! on: June 14, 2017, 02:21:45 AM
I personally do not understand how your concept differs from other anonymous coins.

He wants to re-launch Monero with an ICO so he can get the coins on launch day with his "team" for cheap so he can later sell them for large amounts of BITCOIN <-- what he is REALLY after.

So in other words he wants what every other dev here wants LOL  Cheesy
1243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do People Invest Into DOGE? on: June 14, 2017, 02:17:47 AM
Seeing you all support it makes me think i should launch a money making venture.
How about a "Fun" water ?
I can sell bottled water for a premium because i put a meme jpeg on the bottle.
Sounds good ?

Hmm what if i had a Nascar painted with the Doge logo on the car hood ?
I wonder f that would be expensive.

Wait ..what if we had a team sponsored by Doge ?
Like oh i dunno, how about a Boblsled team ?

Maybe i am getting a bit confused here though.. what were we talking about ?
A currency ?

Yeah yeah.. it's "fun" ...riiiiiiiiiight  Cheesy
1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit just got real on: June 14, 2017, 02:12:34 AM
Comparing Ethereum with Bitcoin only proves you're not getting it...
For once Spartak_nt is correct: ETH is top dog.

One is a digital currency and the other is a scammy rigged unfairly launched ICO scheme for profits where the dev dumped on the public unlike Satoshi.

Want to compare to Bitcoin ?
No fucking problem.. lets do it fraudcache.

By the way.. welcome back LOL
The two of you are back together again eh ?

All i know is..
I came to support a currency.. not profits off APP's platform gimmick ICO fuel-tokens for profits.
I would not support any ICO let alone one with such a checkered past of drama / scammyness.
ETH has had an air of deceit and fraud surrounding it since day 1.

It doesn't scale ?
I'd be more worried about it being a complicated and convoluted insecure gimmick platform destined to fail catastrophically... like when the DAO hacker raped Ethereum.

Then we have the actions of the crew behind it.
They bought all the coins up on launch day in 100 BTC chunks.
Then had a huge list of strangers mentioned in the about page getting printed free coins as "employees"
Then we seen a strange thing going on with Coindesk who took to spamming on about it non stop just before it was going to launch.

Then we have the market manipulators and hype spam crew team that were hired to spam about it.
Funny how there was a year where a wall was set at $12 basically eh ?

Ethereum is the realization of Bitcoin rich guys colluding with big money to launch a scheme for profits.
Look at the players behind it and their checkered scammy past.

I have never owned an ETH "fuel token" nor would i.. i don't support scams.
I just hope US 3 letter agencies are coming after you like they did with Ripple.

All we ever see is a few noob accounts show up here and post lies and fraud about ETH to lure in kids with lunch money.
Big Banks ? ANON ? IBM ? Putin ? Microsoft ? ..the list goes on and on.
You frauds will come here and say anything to sucker naive brats into the scam pyramid APP's scheme.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the ICO is scam on: June 14, 2017, 02:01:36 AM
Plenty of "known" people steal in crypto.
Mark from GOX ?
Paul from Cryptsy ?
Butters from Ethereum ?

ICO is a scam technique.
It's a crooked unfair scammy method of starting a digital currency (or crypto related scheme)
It is effectively a 100% premined coin.. and would you support that ?
You shouldn't..

Anyone who supports any ICO is a scam supporter.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Specialization, and the Unapologetic Case for Monero on: June 14, 2017, 01:58:14 AM
Monero is a lot more "mainstream" that many care to admit. It basically addresses two critical shortcomings in Bitcoin

You mean 80% of the time Wink
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are pump and dumps legal? on: June 14, 2017, 01:54:51 AM
It's decentralized, as I know there isn't any rule against pumps and dumps, no one can control it. It depends the effort of many traders that sell and buy the coin. You just need to be attention on fake altcoins that can dump anything and the price never recovers anymore.

None of this is really decentralized.. look closely.

Off hand though i would so yes and no.
It's in a state of no law exists.. *yet.

If you all want to compare this stuff to the real "markets" ?
Then remember we don't have a Martha Stewart in jail in crypto for insider trading.
And just imagine how many guys are guilty of that here.
Or running fractional reserve custom back-end exchanges manipulating coin platforms in collusion with coin dev's or.. simply making the "coins" themselves.
Think market regulators making fake stocks. LOL

I think if we applied the template we would see how fucked up and corrupt this shit really is.

I don't know why people are showing up in this scammy scene and choosing to participate.. i wouldn't.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do People Invest Into DOGE? on: June 13, 2017, 08:00:33 PM
Because the price of DOGE still cheap.
the price of DOGE now 118 satoshi. so when we buy only 5$ you can get many DOGE coins.
and the price will be up may be 5 or 7 years again.

"cheap" is relative. IMO Doge is not cheap at all considering the total supply.

Yup.. there is no getting through to people.

Same kind of idiots who buy those make your penis larger pills  Cheesy

but it's fun !
I know because it has a dog in the wallet icon !!!!!1111ONE
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So I look for interesting alt coins to invest and I find Sexcoin (?) on: June 13, 2017, 07:55:47 PM
Staff moved the one here in ALT main to the trash not because it posted nude pictures but because they felt it was poor quality advertising of sorts.

The topic revolved around posting a picture of a girl nude etc on a regular basis.
I had no problem with it Smiley
But staff must have figured it was low quality posting.

Since you put NSFW in the topic title it was fine.
You ARE allowed to post nudity.. so i am saying it was NOT deleted simply because there was some naked pics.

See what i mean ?
1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the ICO is scam on: June 13, 2017, 07:44:37 PM
There are several ways to understand if a ICO is scam. Try to investigate their team members if they're real people. Try to use scam monitors design for crypto projects. Try to understand their whitepaper if there is inconsistency.

You say that because you are usually poor little greedy immoral children from 3rd world countries with no integrity looking to buy your first pair of shoes (each sold separately)

I grew up in Canada and watched the USA lots.
The old Water Filter scam for example is similar to most coins and ALL ICO's.
It is the method of operation.. scammy !
The scam i mentioned was so well known that i seen people IRL hooked into it..
I also seen an episode of the TV show King of Queens that featured Doug getting suckered into one.

Those water filter scams operate in a similar way as any & all ICO schemes.
They are not regulated and they are not companies you are buying into.
If you bought a stock would it pay dividends ?
Is your coin ?

It should..
Because not only what i said above but the ICO concept rapes the ideology of Crypto.
It is essentially a 100% premined coin controlled by a centralized entity.. sold on another centralized govt complaint/controlled entity (The crypto exchange)

Know what banks would give to posses the entire max supply of a "currency" for a short time ?
Know why they desperately try and get people to open a savings account ?

Reality:
If you support ICO's then you are a scam supporter.
You are then also making all of crypto worse & worse.
You are not here helping further the cause of getting a currency made and used.
You are here to support shit you shouldn't so you can buy then dump them ASAP for Bitcoin profits.

PS:
There is a reason why anything like an ICO is forbidden & banned on Kickstarter or Paypal etc guys.
They don't allow scams.
And you all don't know what a scam is.
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit just got fraudulent ! on: June 13, 2017, 07:18:29 PM
So ethereum has more transactions than bitcoin ( probably atleast 50% times more, if you include the tokens that aren't taken into account ), more volume, and i've sent a transaction that got first confirmation in ~15seconds.

Bitcoin is a currency and it's used as such.

Ethereum is an ICO "fuel Token" platform where guys created more coins to run more schemes for profit.

You are comparing a fraudulent accounting scheme.
What we see with ETH is like the movie Inception.. a scammy ICO within an ICO for profits.
ICO INCEPTION SCAMMYNESS !

So your numbers are a swirling tornado of bullshit.

It's like saying Sharknado was a better movie than "The Shining" because it was watched more.

You are posting deceitful bullshit with fraudulent numbers.
You ETH scammers are simply exploiting the position you are in and the crowd showing up.
You fought the other guys with manipulation to make sure you were in the no. 2 spot.
Once that is achieved you can then kick back and let the lemmings piling in "use" your coin.
..for profits.
The reality is they all would have used any coin ranked as no. 2 on Coinmarketcap.

The crowd simply roll in here and start buying what ever is in the #2 slot cap wise.
Whether it's a scammy launched rigged centralized failed APP's gimmick ICO scheme coin is of no concern to them.. because ?
It went up in price and it's ranked no. 2.

Which is why a guy named Charles would capitalize on the name of it too.
It's all exploitation.. like you are doing here counting inception ICO stats in your main stats.
It's all a deceptive bullshit charade of lies and crap to sucker in idiots to inflate your bullshit scam coin so you can get...

BITCOIN.

..and then bad mouth the shit out of it of course  Cheesy

Ethereum =  the scammy ICO "Sharknado" of crypto.

1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really have enough 'cryptocurrencies'? on: June 13, 2017, 08:03:37 AM
I don't think people give the future much thought for this stuff.
Many are noobs who have just gotten here and are after profits ASAP.
And they don't care if they leave a mess for others to clean up.
I predicted that would happen when 2013 blew up in popularity.
I was right !

It took a down turn and we went into a rut market price was and a mass exodus of users leaving.
I predicted it all.
I said many would rob others as they are leaving and it happened.

This stuff is highly predictable.

And if you keep on the wrong course it's obvious what will happen.
Things will just get worse and worse in all ways imaginable.

I only ask of you all to think of the future and how it can be sustainable, healthy and secure.
People are going to do what ever they want whether i say stuff or not.
I just hope to challenge the users here and especially new users to think things through.

I think going in a positive and constructive direction is what the key to success is.
And by success i mean both adoption and your profits TOGETHER !
I say what i do because i believe it's in all our best interest..

Do you all think more is better ? Think about it from all angles.
1253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoin open source implementation of P2P token for entertainment on: June 13, 2017, 07:42:18 AM
r3wt made "Shitcoin" for Vlad years ago maybe pick a new name.
Or add another letter to the name. SHittCoin ?
ALA: Red Coin / Redd Coin style Cheesy

Oh and micropayments in games ?
Yeah only a scammy little fucking brat who supports ICO's would do that.
1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the ICO is scam on: June 13, 2017, 05:07:45 AM
Let's say it is legit ico but can you know thoughts on founders' mind? maybe they just want to exit by taking your money in any time in the future ?

That is why escrow exist. I truly love ICOs, they are great way for project to come to life. Without them, Ethereum, Waves and many other great projects would not have come to life !

Bullshit.

For example the scammer from BlockNET who got a million dollars for his scam ICO stated that he had 75% of the code done before he posted here.

..you noobs repeat the same bullshit.  Roll Eyes
Tons of coins were launched far before any ICO crap came along.

ICO = SCAM

Investards.. If Satoshi wanted to make Bitcoin an ICO he would have.
Do you noobs know who that is or do i have to explain that to you also ?

100% this.

The noobs don't know that many coins came out before any ICO crap was done.
It is not NEEDED ..making devs rich paying him vast amounts of money up front.

And i hope to get people to think twice about this stuff.
Give it some thought.

We all should be thinking about how they work and not so much about how much we make from them.

Which is why i posted what i did earlier yet again.
I want to be provocative and get people thinking.

It's not that i want to force people to think a certain way but to get them to come to their own conclusions independently.. even if they end up disagreeing.

For example would you accept a premined coin as acceptable ?
What 2% ? 50% ? 100% ?
Technically an ICO is a one hundred percent premined "coin" or most often a scheme of sorts that is not even usually a "currency"

Why should crypto supporters tolerate users flocking here to buy any scammy bullshit for profits ?
You show up here but are not helping things.. you are making things worse.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really have enough 'cryptocurrencies'? on: June 13, 2017, 04:52:34 AM
I am always insulting in a vague general way.
Some users take it personally but it is not directed at them personally.

I have said 1,000 times LITERALLY ..it's the crowd that pisses me off with their stupidity.
Then i showcase it.. then you guys ignore it.
Then i point it out again.. then you insult me.

Crying because i am insulting ?
I have taken more shit than all of you combined guys.
I am the whipping post of crypto.. i take endless amounts of shit from all comers (especially throw away 1 post noob accounts)

I have had plenty of lawsuit threats and bans across every end of crypto.
I have had people target & troll and harass and try and DOX me.
ANYTHING they can do to attack me.. non stop !

And YOU are whining about attitude ?
Please  Roll Eyes

Gimme a break.. you get to act like greedy children and walk away with a huge pile of scam cash.. i don't !

Me i get threats and a ruined Trust Rating.

The point i have harped on the most is.. The Crowd.
I do not post insults at users personally.
Logically each user is irrelevant.. myself included.
What matter is where the majority in control steer the scene.

That is the key issue here.
It's not about sides ..but control !
Who controls the scene guys ?

I don't show up to call a guy an idiot or a tranny or accuse some guy of "renting" (what ever that means LOL)

I am simply pointing at THE CROWD IN CONTROL saying they are out of control being god damn idiots !

..and they are.

PS:
That is obvious and common-sense.
So why do i have to keep pointing it out ?
Why would i get insulting to the crowd ?
Because i have to repeat common-sense to idiots 24/7 for life ?

I am not saying people are a doo-doo head and i dun likes you.
I am saying technically speaking you are acting like idiots in a proven tangible way.
That can be demonstrated ..and is often.

But all that means to all of you here is.. the next comment that gets post is ?
..yeah yeah Spoetnik *some of this is scammy.
Then you defend YOUR BAGS !

Where is the accountability from any of you ?
And how do i not get tired watching stupid people post the same bad shit coin defense retorts over & over ?
Ya know, come up with some new material guys.

TOPIC ?
These are not "stocks" on the New York Stock Exchanger guys.
They are suppose to be CURRENCIES.
And how many are these days ?

So.. who ya foolin' ?
I'm curious who do you think is eating up your shitcoin rabble ?
Who's buyin' your bullshit defense retorts ?

7 billion people and after 8 years we see 8,000 people here.
Earth gove 0 fucks.
No one is buying your stupid comments you post here 24/7.
Say what you want but i don't see 7 billion people here fumbling over each other begging for as many "coins" as they can get.. with a the more the better attitude  Cheesy

..ya my MOM said hey where i can download fake digital currency ICO scheme tokens for profits Spoetnik ?
She says i wanna haez teh ROI'z on teh EXCHANGER SO WHERE DOO i SENDS MAH PICTURE ID'Z ?

Bottom Line:
You think it's "insulting" that i point out that i have ideology and integrity and you guys do NOT.
It's just the truth.
Don't want to be mocked then quit acting like scum bags and get some class.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ICOs] History Is Repeating Itself on: June 13, 2017, 04:14:09 AM
I agree with you for the most part but you skipped over a glaring tantamount critical point.

How ICO/IPO's work.

How can you talk about them and not even bring that up ?

And then the secondary point being.. these losers don't care (how they work)
Nor do they care if the coin is rigged (scammy) and the dev makes millions.
As long as the hoards of profiteers make a bit of change off the "scheme" they are fine with a lack of morality etc.

Take BlockNET for example.
He didn't need *ANY* Bitcoin to dump to pay for making the coin.
The main dev could have done it all with his own funds.
I know this because he told us all he had 75% of the code written before he launched his short and quick tiny little jpeg based ANN topic with no text (which was of course fodder for editing at will and leaving no trace/record of what the topic said) ..and self moderated of course. LOL

But the BlockNET douche said he wanted 1 *MILLION* dollars in Bitcoin.. because.
And in his mind that was acceptable..
The rest of you apparently were quick to defend him and support it too.
So it was fine with all of you also.

Retarded right ?

1 example of THOUSANDS.

You forgot to mention OP that when i got here in mid-2013 this was a laughing stock.
Altcoins were a dirty word and frowned on heavily.
The Bitcoin crowd would snicker at laugh at this forum section basically.

But in time they all clued in that this is a profit making machine.. and popularity took off.
And now it's 10000000000x more scammy and far more of a retard pathetic joke.

@OP
Your history is off a bit though.
The stop gap between the start and mass IPO's was a *HUGE* trend where SCRYPT cloning became the next big thing.. it started with the Doge coin period of time.
There was sites that made coins and auto added them and auto delisted them to auto changing scrypt coin pools.. i even tried them so i know they existed !
BigVern from Cryptsy even got in on it running one.

But you missed the point bud.. the word "IPO's" was destroyed by me Cool
Check your talk history and you will see i badgered the shit out of them until they stopped using the word.
They tried many too.. switching occasionally to ITO and other catch phrases like "Angel Investing" or "Crowd Funding" etc etc
All of them the exact same bullshit like.. Maidsafe.
I pounded them all with FUD about IPO's and they stopped using the word and kept switching terms.

And you are also excluding from your history a 2 year period where they were *NOT* accepted either.
You all act like this shit is acceptable but it wasn't.
The new guys showing up lowered the bar.
Be my guest and go look at any old IPO / ICO topics and you will see they were all flamed off the board and effectively dead with no popularity.. See: Ripple or Ethereum for example.

So you are acting like this shit was always acceptable.. which is not true.
What happened is the scene got more greedy and corrupt.
There is a reason no one gave a shit about Maidsafe or Master coin or what ever way back in the old days.
The users here had integrity and would NOT support a shitcoin with a rigged scammy design.
Hell the crowd here would bitch if a coin had a 2% premine.. let alone a 100% premine. (AKA: an ICO)
See AUR with it's 50% premine / airdrop shenanigans.

meh.. what ever.. i should write the shitcoin history book.
I was here way before Bitcoin reached $50 a coin and i was here when there was less than 50 "coins" total in history.
I watched this moronic shit go to hell.
I've been here watching 24/7 the whole time.. probably posting more than anyone else in Altcoin history here.
Who else do you see non stop permanently forever ?

The reality is..
This started out with good intentions.
It changed long ago..
Now these hoards of greedy corrupt losers want money and they are not going to let a silly thing like morality or ideology get in there way.. or.... if they ruin crypto's future in the process.
As long as they can get a few cents ASAP! they will plow on supporting shit they shouldn't.

Crypto is a toilet and it was flushed in 2013.

Like when there is so much scammy bullshit going on that a scam doesn't even get noticed you'd think people would stop and rethink this shit and the scammy ways we are running these so called "coins"
But nope.. they all simply ignore shit and push on.. because i got mah mouth to feed dammit !

In 2013 something like LEO coin would have been a big deal.
Now ? Doesn't even get noticed.
How long was Torcoin out before it was exposed and how many of you *EVEN* know it is ?
You all don't care.. you are busy buying gay bullshit fer teh ROI's.

You all simply yammer on "some coins are scams" ignoring anything but your bags.

There is a reason the guys here *USE* to chant "Free Market" all the fucking time.
It was during the SCRYPT cloning hey day when it got big.. they would not stop using it as their defense for supporting clones.
Notice anything ?
They have not mentioned it once since !

The defense was an "ideology" based defense guys.
Something that is long dead & gone.

What i have tried to teach you idiots here is there is consequences in life.
And you act like little brats and predators and push on.
You reap what you sow.

Think I'm "mad" ?
I come here to laugh at idiots.. and scream point blank in their face "I Told You So !"
And i have been able to do it all along over & over.. i am always right and predicted this shit every step of the way.

Idiots here think Ethereum the ICO scam is going to 10k per coin.
Nope.. what is happening is these idiots are forcing the law to come after them.
Which is why i predicted and was right about AML / KYC laws being employed.
Told ya Wink

..you'd think they would listen to me when i am always right but noooooooope.
The lippy greedy immoral kidiot investards know better HAHAHHAHAH

You know you all act like this crap is legit and safe and you are entitled to run scheme's for profit.
Who told you that was ok ?

And shitcoin aficionado's i wrote the dictionary on Altcoins.
I made up half the terms we use..
I am the one who first started calling it an Altcoin "Scene" and i got flamed for it heavily too.
People kept saying "it's not a scene" so quit calling it that all mad.
Back in 2013 that was the first term i invented you all still use today.

Bruno gets credit for Investard though.. i love that one.. simply brilliant ROFL

PS:
Don't like my rant ?
Maybe go create 1 million accounts about it and post 10,000 ANN topics
..and cry FUD for your ROI's profiteers <-- another term i made up myself.

I knew eth is a great alt coin, but the support for eth is still too low, until there are a lot of shop accepting eth, then we can compare eth and bitcoin, all of those number only come from trading and people just do pump and dump when people think it is not profitable anymore they will find other coin

Great ? ahahah  Cheesy

And why would a shop accept ETH ?
It's not a currency.. they are "fuel tokens" for making Smart contracts work.
You profiteers are buying scammy ICO coins and you don't even understand the gimmick.

..good luck with that Cheesy

This crypto-crap is just a swirling vortex of idiocy and greed.

@mining1
