1241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 winner - Real Madrid! on: June 20, 2022, 09:52:47 PM
I think the opinion that it was luck comes from the fact that Real Madrid did not play as spectacularly as we were used to by "Spanish football". I don't know where it comes from, but I have the impression that Real Madrid is playing more and more football similar to the "German football". It is hard work, focus and consistent pursuit of victory. A lot of people may not like it, but for Real Madrid, the most important thing is that they are simply effective.
But many people think that it is sheer luck without seeing how they apply disciplined and coordinated football in creating counter-attacks. Their hard work in maintaining depth must also be accompanied by a good transition between attack and defense and vice versa. It was a good partnership, and I think few have succeeded with a strategy like Real Madrid's.
The idea of "sheer luck" is just a pure lie told by fans of other clubs to diminish the value of their win and nothing more. There will be plenty of English fans, from Chelsea to city to Liverpool all of the British great teams that Real beat, and they will always talk about how it was luck that brought them the cup, because otherwise they would have accept that it was a fair game where Real played better and they were the better team and won.

I know for a fact there are a few people who think like that, and I am sorry but Real just played amazing well, against all their opponents, and it is normal for them to feel like they deserved it every bit as any other winner before.
1242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: June 20, 2022, 09:34:56 PM
Shitcoins will always be a thing in the crypto world. The old shitcoins will die into oblivion and new shitcoins will emerge.
ICO tokens, IEO tokens, NFTs are gone. DeFi might be coming close to an end. We are waiting for the next big thing. The next shiny object.
Anyway, the assumption that everybody in the crypto market is panicking and selling their Bitcoins because of fear is kinda wrong.
Many traders are acting like "bears" in the moment. They are selling now in order to buy later at a lower price. There's no panic in this behavior.
There's nothing wrong with being a bearish trader.
Yes they won't be a thing in the past because if they are then we won't be seeing them up to this point. A clean-up is better than nothing because at least the number of them will get lessen and I can't imagine if they will just stack. What will this market look like? but for sure lots of money are going to get burned away. Who assumes that everyone is panicking? and why worry when it's only just an assumption.

In this space, we have so called veterans. They have lots of experience and knows what to do in this kind of situation and if there are bad actors maybe they just want to scare the public? And then they will take the advantage of buying once the market dumps more.
1243  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectation on: June 20, 2022, 07:44:51 PM
definitely many countries will legalize bitcoin in their environment to enable their citizens enjoy what other countries that made bitcoin legalized are enjoying in their various countries. Now that the price of bitcoin has dropped down to a level where poor people can buy and hold for better future to come, which many countries will use this opportunity to create a good environment for their citizens to be part of this good news that is about to happen before the end of this year 2022. Bitcoin has improved many countries that made it legalized some years ago which it can still improve the countries that are about to make it legal in their countries.
It seems that other countries may be considering following El Salvador's lead, even before the crypto market slump that started a few months ago, Central Africa had been trying to legalize bitcoin in its country.
Look money is not something these nations could come up with that easily, but consider it this way, how about a crypto tax in crypto form? Wouldn't that make more sense for everyone involved?

You are not getting a tax from something and turning that into crypto, you are doing something brand new, which is taxing crypto profits, all those exchanges and everything in crypto will be taxed, and they will have to pay the nation in bitcoin for example, do not accept anything else if you do not want to. That means, based on the economy of that nation, you will get a ton of new tax, and save that in crypto, and the longer you wait, the more money you will make.
1244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is dead! on: June 20, 2022, 06:20:21 PM
Those who are known Bitcoin for a long time, are not disappointed. In most cases, dumping Bitcoin is a big collapse for new investors. It is important to keep in mind that many investors, including institutional investors are now investing in Bitcoin. At the same time lots of media report negatively to attract investors attention to their channel. Ultimately these activities brings a negative impact on the bitcoin price and it can also be pre-plan form the blue whale. So it is better to buy bitcoin right now and hold it for long time, you will definitely get good return.
It's just an ordinary day, bitcoin will dump and pump on its own time, and now that we are witnessing a bear market run, we should understand that we have to go through this process if we want to witness a huge bull run in the years to come. I believe this bear run will not be short, price may bounce back a bit but bear market will stay for awhile, so what should we do now? easy, just buy and hold.
It's okay for a newbie to doubt about the lifespan of btc but if we that have a long term experience on btc, we can educate them about it so that they won't worry like what you are doing there with your friend. You did a good job there. Yes the price can bounce back at anytime and in fact it is happening already because btc is back up again at over 19k something but its price yesterday is at 18k and many thinks it will reach 17k in the same day since the price decays rapidly but only in small increments.

For those who want to enter btc investing or trading, they should understand that bitcoin is a highly volatile crypto but this is beneficial. There's also stable coins that they can use for a while if they don't want to see a major dip in the price.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Will Not Devalue To Zero on: June 20, 2022, 11:55:16 AM
With all the recent FUD being created against ETH. I am in conclusion that ETH will not dissolve down to zero value ever.
As it has been around for some time and has survived many times over when other crypto projects have come and gone.

Sure with the forking coming up, there will be some change. However ETH will always have a value/ just right now the price is down, but it only means good time to buy in and get more.
What fuds? I didn't notice any of them but what I only see coming are positive news about the eth updates that is said to take place very soon. People are so optimistic about it as they believe that it can fix a lot of problems including the high gas cost. That is the reason why people are motivated to buy eth now, when it is still cheap.

It is impossible that the mother of all altcoins will go to zero, it is like we are saying that btc will go to zero too. Eth can stay with us for many more years or until btc and the whole crypto market are still there but they will all stay since cryptos are the future of money. Only the fiats/local currencies and other payment methods are likely going to disappear soon.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia to ban Pokies on: June 19, 2022, 09:52:43 PM
More machines means less profits, reducing the number of machine will solve what the committee is saying? People will still roll and lose their money even with less machine but less convenience that's it.

This is just a business because they are allocating huge money so all these will go to the pockets and nothing else will be changed.
Maybe they think that more machines means more expenses but those that they spend are nothing compared to the profits that they can get later on since gambling is a fun and profitable activity so there will always be a big demand for it. They are the only ones that will be affected if they lessen the number of machines because that means less revenue for them.

Gamblers are not going to be affected with it because like you said they will still find a way. They can do anything even standing and waiting on the line for hours only to play their favorite game which is slots. Op was right. Their moves there are too direct but they should make things easier/slower first.
1247  Economy / Economics / Re: How come BTC price and iBTC price goes down simultaneously? on: June 19, 2022, 09:23:33 PM
That only means one thing, that coin is fake. I think there is no such thing as that where a coin can move oppositely from the rest and if ever it is legit then it would be an easy money for the people that discovers it because it will now be easy to predict things by just basing on their opposites. They can also place their bets on two sides to increase their potential income. Maybe this coin is just another meme coin that uses the current trend of btc because nowadays btc is in the headlines due to its new all time low and also about the repetition of events based from the past years.

If I can speculate that Bitcoin is actually going up in some sense, but it's like the whole DeFi or crypto vehicle or ship is going down by a higher rate and that's why all is going down, is there some economy science or like theory that supports this speculation?
I mean what could be this crypto vehicle or ship?
Just don't speculate that btc will go up and maybe it will now go up  Wink
1248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 19, 2022, 03:49:45 PM
Australia vs Sri lanka

Australia has given a target of 292 runs today. Since the Australian bowlers are experienced, I thought they would win easily. But the Sri Lankan batsmen are batting very well. Sri Lanka managed to score 162 runs in 28 overs. Sri Lanka lost just one wicket. Sri Lanka needs 130 runs in 22 overs. If the Australian bowlers are not able to pick up wickets quickly, then the chances of Sri Lanka winning this match are high.
Right now Sri Lanka is in complete command of this match and going to win a historic series against mighty Australia which did a good score of 292 in fifty overs but an amazing partnership between Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis is giving them a driving seat to win 146 runs in just 25 overs are enough for them with nine wickets remaining and they need 100 more runs in 17 overs which is not difficult on papers until know.

Australia surely missing their star spinner Adam Zampa who can give them a good breakthrough at the right times here right now Matthew Kuhnemann fails to give this opportunity. Before the start of this series mostly expected Australia will whitewash this struggling Sri Lankan side but after losing the first few matches they fightback and did an amazing job in ODI which is going going to give a big boost for them in future.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 19, 2022, 11:23:00 AM
England will play the second ODI against the Netherlands after 30 minutes. Like the first ODI, will we see a huge run target again?
I think England will still collect more than 380 at least today. Amstelveen's pitch is helpful in batting, it is possible to collect a lot of runs on such a pitch. Also the bowling lineup of the Netherlands is very weak. So I would not be surprised to see any new record in today's match. However, if New Zealand wins the toss, they will undoubtedly decide to bat. In no way will they give England a chance to bat first.
Today Netherlands are feeling good as we have no match until now just because of the wet outfield after first disappointed first ODI they don't feel good to face this butchery side which has no mercy for them in terms of game or neighborhood. Agree here if the Netherlands wins the toss surely they will go for batting first because it's a much better and safe chance for them if they want to avoid having their name in record books.

Here in Colombo, we have the third and final ODI between Sri Lanka and Australia after winning the toss Australia decided to bat first and right now after the end of the 33rd over they are 151/4 with finch just out after having a good half-century and now Head and Carey at the crease for having some decent target on board for the win this match and series.
1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart decision I made toward the end of the bull run on: June 18, 2022, 07:04:41 PM
Did you mean you converted them to these coins and later sold to stable coins or are you still holding up till now? If so then maybe you are not in profit. Not every youtuber is a scammer there are some of them that are doing pretty well. Another thing you should note is that they are not project owners so you also should do your own research and decide only by yourself and stand by it.
Honestly, that is still a good decision. Because if you are going to get out of this mess, then you will need things that are solid and valuable. If we are talking about some small cap weird no name coins then we are not going to make any profit at all.

But, if we are talking about something that is like bitcoin or ETH then we are going to end up making a good profit and that matters. Sure ALL of them are down right now so the result so far seems like the same thing for all, but in a year or so you will see a difference where all those no name ones will not matter while the good ones will go back up to a great price which will make you profit at that time.
1251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 18, 2022, 03:47:02 PM
It would have been really awesome to watch Mbappe playing at Real Madrid by this season. Unfortunately we aren't going to be able to do so yet. Mbappe chose to stay for a longer time. The money offered to him was the biggest factor undoubtedly but I think he is still believing that PSG can achieve a Champions League title too. I think this season is going to be critical for his future choices. PSG need to find a way to win that title otherwise Real Madrid might have another chance too. But still the money he is earning now is unbelievably much so it'd be hard for him to give up on his contract.  Grin
Surely a big disappointment for Real Madrid fans that Mbappe is not coming to this team because in the last few months there was hype surely he is going to join but sadly a big deal from PSG management stop him so now they have to wait for some more seasons for this transfer because right now this was deadly combination Mbappe and Real Madrid but still without him they are strong and capable for defending their titles in next season.

Barcelona is doing a good job of having some very good players as they have disappointed season and now looking for next season as ideal but it's not easy for them to settle things in a very quick way after having some look into this year's transfer window most chances we will have usual stuff in this La Liga season with two teams domination Real Madrid and Barcelona because no other team is capable of giving them a strong challenge with current squads.

This casino not working for me. And when i enter this site. This site shows a popup message. Not to deposit here. It seems that the site is not ready yet.
But, at least you can end up on that page on your screenshot while me it only shows an error that site cant be accessed. I guess the op down the site for a while to apply fixes and the recommendation of the users on this thread. That's nice that he is seems serious about his project. Seeing the pic in the first page reminds me of duelbits, I don't know why but maybe because of its green coloured theme?

There is also a lot of writings in the screen. I think it would be better if he can cut that out and make them organized in one tab. When we are on the game page, the main focus of it would be the game only and its settings but other stuffs should be hidden.
1253  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Central Bank Digital Currencies Kill Cryptocurrencies ? on: June 18, 2022, 05:51:36 AM
It sounds like can fiat currency kill BTC! I ready doubts about this concept of CBDC and its potential. Most of the country in the world doesn't have the ability and resource to create and maintain their own CBDC. Allowing crypto assets and taxing them is less costly and convenient for the govt than creating CBDC. Also, I do not find many similarities between them expect their use case. So talking about killing one another is irrelevant.
Fiat currency is already been here right before the btc came in and fiat is still being favored by the governments/banks and as well as the majority of people. Btc is nothing against it but between cbdc and cryptos, cryptos are the first one to came in however cbdc is being favored the most by the governments/banks because it's theirs but many people are still sticking with cryptos over cbdc so there is no need to worry about it.

Cbdc cant surely kill cryptos but they are the ones that cryptos will kill. Governments can allow crypto but they cannot totally control it, that is the reason why they created cbdc and I don't think creating it is hard and costly.
1254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Terra cofounder Do Kwon is the one who is pumping Bitcoin on: June 17, 2022, 07:25:28 PM
<...>
Anyway he's just as guilty as Bernie Madoff for projecting false profits and blowing up.

I also think that this is so, especially since according to the investigation conducted by Uppsala Security, the wallet that caused the collapse of UST belonged to Terraform Labs, so investors suffered losses due to the actions of Terra.

https://sentinel-protocol.medium.com/part-1-debunking-the-lunatic-conspiracy-what-you-didnt-know-about-the-activities-behind-the-57227b75d5a6
I did not know that the actions taken were by Tera itself, I always assumed that it was mainly by some other attacker that came in and found a way to make more profit as it got lower and lower, so I was assuming that there was a hacker that took care of this. Maybe I was wrong, and I understand that now, and the research is very precious since it is showing what we didn't know.

But at the same time, I have to say that there is a good case to be made about the fact that these were just some project owners that we invested our money to. Which means that, there are hundreds of these type of projects out there, even if Do Kwon is guilty, we are still doing it to other projects.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How low can BTC go this time around on: June 17, 2022, 04:56:11 PM
It is very difficult to predict with certainty how low BTC will fall this time, but if you look at the current market developments it is very likely that BTC will drop below the $21k mark, because until now the crypto market is still experiencing a permanent  and there is no sign of it yet the market will recover.
No one can but one can predict either correctly, almost exactly the same as the price or never got it right. What you said that it will drop to $21k mark is also a prediction. As I see that the current price is even lower than $21k as I post this one. I hope that it will not decrease more until it decrease to below $20k. Current price is at $20k+ and if it decrease then it os more likely to be below $20k which I think a good pricebyo start a plan to buy and hold long term.
It is already at a level where it makes sense to buy and hold long term. I am not saying that it will not go any lower, of course it could go lower but at the same time it is doing a good job being here as well. This is why it makes sense to start purchasing at the current price, it means that we are doing as well as it could be hoped for.

However, people are reacting as if they buy right now at 20k, and it goes to 16k, that would be the worst thing ever, it wouldn't be. When the price is 100k, the difference is negligible and you buying at 20k would mean that you would make 5x profit, and what else can you make 5x profit from? Not many things.
1256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 16, 2022, 08:33:35 PM
Best thing to do is bring them to a psychologist that will help them to lessen or escape their gambling addiction. It won't work if we just give advices to that addicted relative of ours, those experts know how to deal properly with gambling addiction. They could also provide some medication that will help the gambler to control himself from gambling. We should also help them guide through their way of addiction, we can make other activities that they like to do that will distract them from remembering gambling.
You're correct, a simple advice from a parents wouldn't change the addict to not gambling again because he can easily gamble on many online casinos out there. No one can stop him if he want to gamble, if he got self excluded in a site, he can find another casino who doesn't know him and they will let him play. Addiction is a serious case and a professional is always needed.
But, giving a simple advice is better than being not concerned to your loved one at all. Miracle's can still happen. When they know that someone cares for them they will realize that they are wrong and they will need to stop being addicted again so that their loved ones won't worry on them anymore but if things seem to not work as intended, that is the time to call a help from the experts.

The addicted gambler can't do anything to avoid them because they can force them to go with them in the rehabilitation center or do some injecting so that the patient will calm down or fall asleep. This seems brutal but it's for their own good anyway.
1257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can a new sportsbook gain trust? on: June 16, 2022, 07:43:07 PM
Being different or unique is an advantage, this is what can separate your sportsbook from the crowd and this can attract players on your site. Another one is being user friendly, this is needed because many newbies are now trying crypto gambling and we don't want to disappoint them on their early try due to a complicated site but before you end there, there must be things first that must be done and that is the promotion. Join the forum advertisements or hire a bounty and campaign manager that will run your own campaigns.

Last is create a catchy ann thread and make sure that you are actively responding on every users on the thread. Just be honest about your objective and don't scam people of course, if you want to gain a trust.
1258  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: June 16, 2022, 02:31:52 PM
Never really had any English team I supported but I definitely did have clubs I disliked and that's Chelsea, City, United (because they spent to win). Barca of course, my own club, started to try that route to copy Real our own superstar spender club in La Liga, and ourselves became spenders so I found a way to hate my own club while supporting it.

I've never had a brand that I loved sponsor a football club I love, usually for the ones I know it is the other way around.

People who supported Barca knew about Unicef, people who supported United knew about Chevrolet, and I bet you people who support Southampton, Watford before that, Arsenal, Sao Paolo. I don't think Barca got more supporters from Unicef or United from Chevrolet but I bet you those brands got more customers from those clubs.

That's how I always see it work anyway.

But as you say, all this helps crypto in the long term, and I'm proud to be using a crypto sports gaming book that goes above and beyond the rest.
You can have the team you support at all times, go ahead and support Barcelona. But when you see that sportsbet.io logo on Southampton jersey, doesn't that make you feel better about Southampton, I mean compared to how you felt about Southampton before the sponsorship? Just to give an example, I never cared about Southampton before, never even considered them, never thought about them, didn't care at all, wouldn't know if they were in premier league or championship most years.

But, since sportsbet.io sponsored them, I started to watch their highlights at least, or watch a full game here and there because of the sponsorship. Otherwise nobody says you should go to all of their games or anything, it just makes you feel more connected.
1259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The digital ID for Gambling on: June 15, 2022, 09:54:35 AM
I believe by making a new rule like that to limit underage players, and maybe it will be taxed for each player.
regardless of whether the regulations are good or bad, they will only make it more complicated for users of online gambling services.  The problem that will be very bad is when the players' personal data will be misused
Adding tax can be an effective way not only for the minors but also for the general age to stop gambling. Most of them only gamble to have fun but if they will be charge big due to tax, I don't think they will have the motivation or interest to gamble anymore. Some forms of regulations might be good if ever there are others, other than the idea of taxing it.

There are many crypto gambling sites that are now regulated but I don't know if this really feels complicated or not since there's still many gamblers who continue's to bet on those site's but complications were mostly feel at the start or during when you sign up because you might be required for a kyc but after it, you can now login easily.
1260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which crypto will going to explore after this bearish market ends? on: June 14, 2022, 08:46:53 PM
I dont see any problem in that mate. The money you earn is for spending and saving. If your main job is earning enough to sustain both then you would save bitcoin in excess and if that is not happening, still there is nothing bad about it. Never compare your saving with another person, you have no idea what that other person may have had gone through to be a position as today - often a mistake that people do.

Buying bitcoin in parts is defenitely recommended to every newbie out there instead of buying chunks of shitcoin that have no actual long term value. They may seem cheap and easy to get but they are only more showy than profitable.
That is true and I am not upset about it. Just the fact that I could had millions of dollars if I did not spend it, but I had to cash that out to pay for bills and live, just makes you feel tingly inside. If I could go back in time, maybe I would try to save more, but I would still spend majority of it the same because I had to eat, and pay bills, what was I suppose to do, eat rocks? This is why I understand the logic, and I am not really regretting anything I did.

I had a great life, I thank my boss for providing me this amazing job, and I love every minute of my life. Sure it could have been better, but also it could have been a lot worse, and I mean like A LOT worse, so I am quite glad.

In fact, this method is recommended, saving every month in bitcoin and not interfering with the needs of our lives, over time there will be a lot of bitcoins that we collect, so that the time will come when we can sell it for a profit when the market is bullish. but there are also many people who prefer shitcoin, because the opportunity to get a profit that is doubled is greater, even though it is directly proportional to the risk
The risk involved is not something that I would love to do, and would recommend doing the opposite of as well. It is clear to me that the best thing we could do right now would be to earn a living without worrying about anything. I personally care about the situation to be a bit more riskless with bitcoin, and that is true in most cases, however I also understand people who put the profits into risky stuff as well.

This means, if you invest 10k, and make it to 100k with bitcoin, then getting 80k of it to stay in bitcoin, but putting 20k to it on risky stuff could make some sense. That is alright, but putting the initial 10k to risky stuff makes no sense.
