I know the same situation happened to a few people. Apparently it's a bug. 1432 of your coins are gone into the fees. the 2000 are I hope still recoverable from the proposal fund. it happened during 12 block just after the new rewards system. If there are space for DASH and Monero in the market then there are space for ZCASH and Zcoin too. Now compare the tech of ZCASH/Zcoin with Monero and DASH. ZCASH and Zcoin both are superior and soon will dwarf at the other anon coins. Zcoin has already been launched so it has the first movers advantage though. true that but you have to consider all the other anon 'shit' coins out there who are still sitting on 100k or 1 Mill marketcap and have not moved since 1-2 years there is much more to it than just coming up with a 1 trick pony (Anon) there is much more to it to get a coin past 5 US$ or a marketcap of 20 Mill + already launched .... the komodo guys are on the "Z" train as well and so are many others and even more will join so 1st to launch does not mean anything tbh Already tradeable when the ZCASH hype is at full peak means everything. KMD will not be launched untill late december. when the ZCASH hype is at full peak (early november) only Zcoin will be the coin that is listed on major exchanges (Bittrex will come in few days. not sure of poloniex). under such circumstances traders will rush to Zcoin because they dont want to buy ZCASH at price of 1 BTC per ZEC so they will buy the second best thing instead at price of 0.1 BTC = 1 Zcoin. 1 BTC per ZEC, who said? 0.1 BTC = 1 Zcoin, who said? all speculations. At current price I think it won't even break-even. the first few days of mining this were unreal, however profitability is down a bunch now that the entirety of the unshaved masses have joined in.
i've currently 12x c4.8xlarge (36 cpu) amazon instances running ubuntu 14.04, piped through a stratum-proxy (you NEED this for any more than 4-5 miners to work correctly, otherwise you get weird errors after a few minutes). this combinations puts down about 16-20kh/s.
lol droplets, sounds like something that happens when you dont wipe properly.

All droplets mining individually? Seeing how a few super miners are sucking up most of the blocks......I'll share this...... A week ago today I started mining Zcoin on $5 per month VPS instances, which only have 512MB RAM. The cost for 25 of these instances is a little more than $4 per day, total. Together those instances mined 6 blocks over the past week, which equals 240 Zcoins. So for less than a $30 investment, roughly a thousand dollars worth of Zcoins were mined. And counting. The VPS just mined another block this afternoon. I set one droplet up exactly how I wanted it, made an image of it, then made 25 copies of that image. You can command all your droplets at once using a program liked Multi-tabbed Putty. I have to restart zcoind once per day or it eventually slows down to the point that it's not producing any hashes per second. Each time a droplet mines a block then I send the Zcoins to my desktop wallet. These small droplets couldn't build zcoind so I used the pre-compiled version listed in this guide: https://gist.github.com/marsmensch/70fb2642bfac22a36c115425da720ef6There are surely much more efficient ways to do this, but any amateur miner like myself with a couple days of trial and error time can start solo mining blocks now.
