I'm looking at adding a DYI
By the way, DYI is Do Yourself In. Please don't. DIY is fine though.

Nice, how I feel today. Need a green face emoji.

How are you getting a rate for $1670 a unit? Pango has it listed for just under $1.9k for September batch.

Thanks for the offer. I have a need of more then 30 amps (-;. I installed a house fan in a container and it moves a ton of air, what are your requirements for your Exhaust upgrade?

Good day everyone. Just curious, does anyone use Co-Location services here. I have maxed out where I am at and want to keep expanding? I have called a few places but not sure if its a right fit. Looking for any recommendations. Thanks in advance.

Jason

I think rifleman has his units hosted. Maybe he'll chime in. Otherwise you can buy me my exhaust upgrade and I'll host free power of a few units till we're even. I have an open 30a 240 line till I get the upgrade but mortgage and stuff as my wife is out of work atm.

I figured, just seemed polite to offer. Smiley

I'm looking at adding a DYI whole house fan for removal to the attic. About 3k CFM should be plenty. In the winter I'll be better off but for summer I've had to power down at least two of four units I currently have when weather temps hit the 90's.

104.6

Close enough that when you count fee cost and. Tx fees paid out it is about 99 to 101

Works for me.

And I boosted the gear up to 61th and did a small rental so good timing on that.
I would imagine we would get a good run soon that will bring us under the 100 mark for a bit. Averages would have us floating both sides of the mark. We've been well within tolerances on the upper side so far.

is 104 our lifetime or a rolling average of a certain amount of blocks?
1245  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: PSU Arching on: August 23, 2018, 09:52:58 PM
How many PSU's of that model are you currently mining with? Curious the amount of which are giving you trouble.

It is possible that those power supplies are faulty, and just so happens those models have crappy protection, leading to you being shocked.

Bought three as i didn't have the 240v right off so I could use on 110v. So far two since Nov have arched and melted cables. We'll see whats covered.

1247  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: PSU Arching on: August 23, 2018, 06:41:54 PM
actually it would be sorcerers then both the atx's on on my canaan units now since their draw is a little lower. I guess I'll have to see if I can piggy back a special request for some.
1248  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: PSU Arching on: August 23, 2018, 05:33:38 PM
I've only run server grade PSU's for anything long term. I have used a few ATX's for testing.

There's a chance the steady load for that long has just worn out something on the inside. Some if the earliest advice I got on this forum was to avoid using non server grade PSU's for long term steady operation.

Besides that are they still under warranty?

Ok, I was going to have the company run an order for me today on a couple server psu's. Thinking though I might wait for the APW7 (1800w) to post again? Or are their psu's other recommend? I'll probably freshen up on philipma's posts here shortly.

No its a 240v line, I'll get some reads but everything has been flawless since Nov.

air quality to improve today hopefully as well....really smokey this morning but cool!

Yea, I haven't been to bothered by it unless driving for some reason. It's been funny though seeing people with face masks on downtown.  .. .

Love the cooler weather.

Hi,

In the last couple weeks I've had two 1600T2 evga psu's arch on me, melting plugs on the psu side. One on a Canaan and one on a s9. I'm wondering what conditions contribute to this that I can control? I did some google searching but nothing really yielded much outside of replace the psu asap. Just hoping to control what I can to keep down time to a minimum.

Or fifth? lol hoping for a PST time triple. Maybe we have someone in hawaii that mines here?

It's supposed to be cooler this week. I'll be able to leave my humble mine fully ramped up. had a 1600TI evga burn out on me. Hope RMA is fast. Had a spare antminer psu luckily. Mine on.

Naw, playing the straight man has nothing to do with sexual preference. If someone tries to take it otherwise, that's an opportunity to educate someone on a historic staple of comedy.

Oh yeah, still haven't heard back from Inno about chips. Might buy me one of them miners though, you know, to mine with. Definitely not to take apart.

I almost stip up my beer on that last bit.

We were talking about john candy the other day and then someone confused him with chirs farley. I got upset, someone got educated.

I will fuck with it tomorrow.

I have found over the years that if one takes profanity literally, the world is a much funnier place.

I find it odd my I missed such a deliberate set up. Or was I playing the straight man?

Do people even use that phrase anymore? Could be found derogatory to hetero males some. .. Oh and a T2T or something.

Watch out the fan doesn't take off your john thomas.

A little worried what one might be doing for this to occur. .. Wink

Just seems like an interesting design especially with the radiator set. They said they don't do testing units, so we won't be listing out of protection for our buyers.
