1241  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: November 04, 2022, 07:04:59 PM
My rule is not to tell people what to do with their money, this has helped me to avoid anyone from blaming me from any lose they got.

I believe as a human being if you have the idea to make money then you are wise enough to make a good decision. I have seen many people forcing people into crypto-currency with good hope and many a times this doesn't go the way they plan.

You can teach people things but don't make your sermon seem that you are trying to force them into what they can do with their money because when it get soar you take the blame.
1242  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin Obituaries on: November 04, 2022, 05:05:08 PM
I think there would be more death in the future for bitcoin lol. I rarely engage in such discussion or arguments same people that tells me that Bitcoin is dead are same people who ask me about how the can get more when the bull runs begins.

Such statistics won't be relevant to me except for historical research. The crypto-currency world can't take serious words from people who choose to be bias and creating FOMO for no tangible reason at all.
That said it there is such stats for the death of Bitcoin then there should be a reverse stats for when Bitcoin disappointed haters.
1243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 03, 2022, 07:13:50 PM
Great last game of the group stage of the UEFA champions league, lots of drama I must be honest with you, and mightily lots of actions, as we know some big teams had to bow out like Barcelona, Juventus, Ajax, Atletico Madrid. But that wasn't fascinating because some of this team were heading towards the exit even before the very last game.

I am surprised about how some groups ended out and who topped the group, for example Tottenham hotspurs, after so much bad games and many thinking they would be out of the UCL they came back to win the group and also Benfica, this team probably were grateful just to have qualified from a group that has PSG and Juventus, but not only did they qualify they were group leaders after their 6:1 win.
1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn some fractions of coins per day in this bear market? on: November 03, 2022, 05:58:04 PM
Hey mate don't know how updated or how you have been following the crypto-currency market but I can definitely tell you that the bear market isn't just starting now and you earning in crypto-currency is more than bear or bull market.

You can still buying in the bear market and buy wrongly and you know what that means. So you should first probably earn from what you can sell, like your services and then get payed in a good coin you choose. You can accumulate this into future profits.
1245  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful buying alts that already surged high in past bull market on: November 03, 2022, 05:50:57 PM
Why the categorization? My advice would be to be careful buying any Altcoin in general, never feel too safe in crypto-currency. Although I think the more established Altcoin are more safe than those Altcoin wanting to rise.

Altcoin is a market of risk, and the more you interested the market the more exposed you are to those risk, their are many altcoins right now and that's not the end of it, more are would still be brought in, and if I want to take my chances I rather take them on established coins.
1246  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The Unnecessary Pressure For Merits on: November 02, 2022, 07:36:27 PM
Talking about an irrelevant pressure for merit can put more pressure about merit, the fact that so certain members after some merit or those who don't have at all talks about merit sounds like merit pressure to me, we are the product of what we think.

The merit pressure can die down if we stop raising it up regardless of the manner we try to raise it up, I would rather want to see talks about how newbies can improve/develop without any talks of merit in the post, definitely an improved Newbie or anyone would grow even in rank.
1247  Economy / Economics / Re: CBDCs are like a digital prison but Bitcoin is the key on: November 02, 2022, 05:23:41 PM
CBDCs is just like a placebo the government want to feed citizens as a digital currency. The central bank of my country at a time this year or last year but strong restrictions on crypto-currency this restrictions affected many crypto-currency users that some of them were even jailed, only for the same government to turn around to create their own digital currency and wanted to sell it to the country.

Such government created digital currency should in my opinion have not affiliation to crypto-currency because it's not decentralized, and is just a glorified fiat, anyways as it was always going to be such digital asset failed and I haven't heard anything about it since then.
1248  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stupid or Not on: November 01, 2022, 06:58:33 PM
This isn't just an unreasonable idea it also an idea that tires me to imagine let alone to do it. Crypto-currency is transparent and except you friend makes use of a mixer then those interested in wallet can see where his cryptos were moved to.

Sometimes doing too much is doing too less. I have not reason to think owning and keeping your crypto-coin in your wallet is stressful, the safety precautions or rules are as simple as a kid learning how to laugh. Be less greedy, up your security sensitive, add 2FA, ensure you provide a safe place to store your seed phrase, if you can make transactions at your secured private place.
1249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major Dumps in Bitcoin History and What to learn from there? on: October 30, 2022, 08:05:14 PM
If you are very interested in the history of Bitcoin then you may be ready to always continue in that interest. We all can see that crypto-currency is very volatile and this is unending. All my existence of knowing about Bitcoin I have read up history of its pump and dump. But when ever you realize that Bitcoin isn't on the same altitude as other crypto-currency you only see the dump as yet another normal period.

I think all this stories of the dump should be for historical purposes but this might not because some newbies can be scared away if they aren't properly guided. My advice is don't only see bitcoin as a prized investment opportunity but as a solid financial system alternative.
1250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 30, 2022, 06:53:25 PM
First a big congratulations to Arsenal they did a very good job today and to think this was the Nottingham forest that Liverpool lost to and also, this shows the Arteta's men has really improved immensely and at this stage of the league I think we can consider them title contenders already.

Also another shocking scenario in the English premier league is that Manchester United are now a win and a game in hand on Tottenham hotspurs who are in the third place, I actually did not see this coming. Good to see the Portuguese star player in action today, I think if Manchester United can solve some dressing room issues they can still come out well this season.
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let me join the Bitcoin Forum on: October 30, 2022, 06:11:59 PM
Well my main reason for joining or wanting to know about Bitcoin and crypto-currency in general has to be curiosity. I was fascinated about how it would work, when someone told be how Bitcoin works and what it can do.

As to what I have learnt from bitcoin? Well I have learnt so much from bitcoin and crypto-currency that has also contributed to my personal growth like, I always do my research on everything that involves me giving my money in, I read more often and trying to learn and I am more scheduled. About finances well I have not become the millionaire I want to be but I am better off than I was before crypto-currency atleast.
1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase wallet. on: October 29, 2022, 07:32:31 PM
Well I don't know your plan or how long you have been in this forum but by now the alarm has been sounded about making use of the wallet you can find on the exchange by friend the risks are very much trying to do so.

Although generally I haven't use the coin base exchange regularly but I think from usage and popularity it's an exchange that's just ok, but the major problem you would have is trusting that you can actually make use of the Coinbase exchange and be sure to be safe, you just making yourself under the regulations of the exchange and you a n also get hacked.
1253  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does the trust system work and is it really important in this forum? on: October 29, 2022, 07:17:08 PM
To me trust system is individual based to get me wrong we have D's and this guys has a stronger rating than any members rating, this is not in any way to flaw the trust rating but tells say you had a business dealings with a trusted Dt members you are probably to get recommendations from that DT members which would add to you trust rating but honestly this not not to be mean you are completely trusted because this doesn't make people change along the line.

I believe no matter the the trust level of a member you also need to be careful having dealings with that said people trust can be gotten and their are chances of hacked account of a trusted person or complete change of that person.
1254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 29, 2022, 04:58:23 PM
Who else is seeing than Manchester city last season is actually more improved than this season, it's sad we saw that  Halaand is actually human and can actually go a game without a win, his absence today against Leicester city was a big blow and it has to take a genius play from Kevin to secure the win for Manchester city.

I still insist that pep's men has really dropped form and this would really affect them taking the seriousness from Arsenal. I think pep of implement more reason tactics to win game without the concentration of Halaand, every one has a bad game but it doesn't mean the whole team must be affected. Now let's see what Arsenal can do.
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MY FIRST BITCOIN PURCHASE. on: October 29, 2022, 04:10:02 PM
Congratulations mate I must tell you that you have done a great thing for yourself. I think this is how to grow. Many newbies don't believe in gradual rise when it comes to crypto-currency. I also had same euphoria when I had to make my Frist Bitcoin purchase, I wasn't really excited because I just bought Bitcoin as an investor but because I believe it's going to be part of my future.

If it's possible mate I recommend you keep accumulating or progressing in your Bitcoin usage the benefits can be earned now and that's easy transactions and other freedoms. Congratulations once again.
1256  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat in trouble on: October 28, 2022, 08:24:59 PM
Fiat is in such a big trouble I believe in many years ti come the power value of fiat would drop greatly, every country is having their own fair share of the inflation and economic issues.
I believe in a world where Fiat exist and also crypto-currency exist as well and it's the option of people to either choose with they want, but as the situation of Fiat continues to deteriorate the safer option people would have would be crypto-currency.

Their is no sound statistics to this but the more inflation last the more the crypto-currency adoption continues to grow.
1257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Alternative to Bitcoin, Your Alternative is Bitcoin. on: October 28, 2022, 05:05:05 PM
I think if any Bitcoin or Crypto-currency enthusiast has to seek approval from the government before they believe in crypto-currency or Bitcoin then they have a lot to learn. I have this mentality that Crypto-currency is decentralized and I am not compromising those thoughts.

If we are to go by with your three criteria then we should also look into the government that sanctions Crypto-currency and have either bans or restrictions placed on it, I don't think the government would completely support crypto-currency and I am not expecting that.
1258  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: October 28, 2022, 04:28:53 PM
Guys Wetin una think of the current situation wey dey ground for Nigeria right now, the fact that Nigeria already has a long history of security breaches and also terrorism attacks is scary now more news of incoming attacks can spike anyone's blood pressure. Saying that the current administration has failed us is an understatement and I have lost all hope and confidence in them.

As we may have heard the US embassy in Nigeria has giving some warning alert concerning an impending attack from terrorist but the way our government took it was really shameful. A minister blatantly referred to it as a bluff. I think the whole country is unsafe now.
Guys what do you think about Nigeria security right now and do you believe we can conquer any serious security attacks.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bull started? on: October 27, 2022, 08:03:58 PM
Well I can deny that we saw some sort of improvement in the market and even bitcoin passed its long term hindrance and got $20,000 and some Altcoins wasn't also left out of this. But I choose not to be too excited about it, because it wasn't like a rally so I don't think the bull run is active.

In my own assumption or thoughts I think the worst might me over and the scare of the bear market getting worse is over, it may not be so soon but if the price stability is maintained we may see the bull run soon.
1260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problem does Bitcoin solve? on: October 27, 2022, 07:26:02 PM
Can we not exaggerates things for the sake of Newbies and non experience people who are still trying hard to understand what Bitcoin is all about. Yes to the fact that Bitcoin can be a very helpful tool to government, Banks or  company's that deals with payments, transfers or transactions, but Bitcoin may not completely save a country.

For example I know many people who has been into crypto-currency for long but still are not millionaires already, because honestly it wasn't meant to make you rich out of nowhere, you still face normal life challenges but it would make transactions or normal transfers easier than they used to be. You knowledge on how to keep your cash flowing or a country knowledge on how to develop themselves financially is still needed Bitcoin can only supplement in ways that it can.
