1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: May 14, 2017, 12:10:27 AM
I've researched some ways and i hope this could help:

1. Micro Earnings
2. Writing about Bitcoin
3. Supply Bitcoin-related services
4. Bitcoin lending
5. Mine Bitcoins
6. Gambling
7. Bitcoin trading
8. Bitcoin affiliate marketing
9. Open a faucet / rotator
10. Play games to earn Bitcoins
11. Earn Bitcoins by answering questions

I think there are many more ways to earn bitcoin.
There are many more ways to earn bitcoin but the ones listed in the quoted post are the major ones. One of the way I know to earn bitcoin is via joining a signature campaign. It sometimes is low but it can be decent enough for one person to earn enough money to start investing in just 2 weeks sometimes only a week. Another way I know to earn bitcoin is investing on good Initial coin offering(ICO).
1242  Economy / Speculation / Re: A price correction is happening now on: May 13, 2017, 04:14:42 AM
At moment of this post, it's 1650USD, which is almost -240usd vs high point 1890, Bitstamp data.

So how far you think it may go? Or at what price you are going to enter?
It will never below $1500

Bitcoin is having a strong support on the market. That will protect the bitcoin price from get dumping a lot by the trades. I have speculated about this. I will try to enter if there will another good news coming for us.
It may bring another bullish trend and i can take some money. $1600 is a good bottom for me.

Just put your order at the bottom and wait until the market gets panic sell.  Roll Eyes
For now that is the wisest thing to do but it might fall under 1500$ and 1600$ is not the new bottom in my opinion there is a possibility of it going back to 1200$-1300$ ranges if there aren't any good news in the coming days, if there are maybe the upward trend we experienced will continue again to reach new heights we have never seen before.
1243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin price will crash again in 2017? on: May 13, 2017, 03:24:21 AM
I think its too early to say that price is going to crash again this 2017. Although price fall down about less than $300 now. Price is still considerably high and for sure it will bounce back again like the usual.
Maybe it would bounce back but there is a possibility that it would not and maybe it will stabilize for a while on the price ranges it would still be nice though if this happens. Even if it will dump I think it would not be less than sub 1000$ since it might be the new floor for now and it might not be too. Bitcoin is unpredictable so I can't say for sure. For now let's hold and rebuy when it dumps.
1244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Warning: Bubble about to pop. on: May 13, 2017, 02:35:05 AM
Oh look at that nice balloon deflating... who could have expected that?

As if the price going down really gives you any credibility. Markets move...they go up and down...not surprising.

That's like saying the sun will rise then set tomorrow. Whooptie dooo....

Congratulations you deserve a cookie.
Hahaha lol look whose back the same old kwukduck. The price really did go down today but it wouldn't be that big IMO. There's no use in debating with him because he spreads the same old fud he used to spread which newbies believe in most of the time so he does it. Just let him be its up to the readers though to believe him or not to believe. For now I will watch price movements.
1245  Economy / Speculation / Re: To the moon! on: May 13, 2017, 01:31:03 AM
I think it's already landed a few days ago and right now the rocket's running out of fuel, needs to go back to earth to get it refueled, and obviously that will take some time to recover...  Sad Angry Angry Angry

It just seems like a bubble right now, I know i could be wrong but honestly i just have this gut feeling...

Price went down $100 yesterday, i mean i'm all with bitcoin going up but it doesn't seem that likely right now. Even if it does go up, it'll probably be max. $2k, not much of a rise.
Maybe it will go back to earth for now because according to charts at http://www.coindesk.com/price/#2017-05-12,2017-05-13,close,bpi,USD there was a correction that happened today from 1799$ price have gone down to 1646$ but it might not dump anymore it might stabilize here or it might really go back to price ranges 1200$. Well this is just a speculation but I think 2000$ this year might be possible.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRB] Creditbit - ERC20 token on: May 13, 2017, 12:54:02 AM
Not yet late.  Grin
For those who will see this you would need to buy now before it goes rising up again for like 10-20k satoshis.
That is a lot of profit when you a bundle of it.  Grin
Yep. I am back with trading thanks to creditbit.
i agree with you but let me add some. to those holders do not dump your creditbits to earn btc,
just to show support on the devs of creditbit, sell it if it reaches 0.001 again please don't dump you creditbits thank you

regards
lighpulsar07
Well that's impossible to ask for everyone since there will always be someone who will dump their owned creditbits and we cannot ever stop that. That is part of trading after all without buying and selling there won't be supplies for others to enter and buy some creditbit for themselves. Just think of it as their way to show support for creditbit since they're giving chance for others to own creditbit too. I hope that creditbit will be added to other exchange soon especially bittrex and poloniex.
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burstcoin a good coin? on: May 12, 2017, 05:09:17 AM
Can you explain burstcoin's  advantages

BURST has many advantages.  What initially stands out to most is the low power, eco friendly, green, HDD mining.  If you have free space, even on a cell phone you can mine BURST.

It also has an asset exchange where you can reinvest your BURST and make dividends.

The community support is great and growing.  If you look at simple stats like wallets being open and the size of the network/miners... you can see the community is really growing.  Check out burstnation.com and burst-team.us to get an idea on the community.

BURST has a very strong and dedicated dev team.  That have been with the project a while know (1.5 yrs approx) and have substantial personal investment in BURST... so they are motivated to make the coin go.

BURST also wasn't premined, there was no ICO it has grown naturally... it's a "people's coin" if you will.

Someone else mentioned supply.  Yes there are 1.7 billion coins presently but it's hard capped at 2.1 billion.  It's a fallacy to think because there's a large supply the coin can't grow.  There are coins in the billions in regard to supply in the top 10 of cryptos right now.  I also think the asset exchange helps this as a lot people are investing their BURST and not dumping it on the exchanges.

Those are just some of the highlights .... things such as smart contracts, a marketplace, cross chain transfers and more are also a part of BURST's future.

I trade it a little short term, but most definitely holding a chunk long term.  My short time with BURST I'm up 6x on my money... and I get the feeling things are just getting started!
Burstcoin was good in my point or view for now because of reading the quoted post post but I don't trust it yet. Right now I got a lot of free space on my hdd which can be used in mining according to the quoted post. This coin I think would not be a big coin valuing more than a hundred thousand satoshi but it will be a pump dump coin I think whick will be great for day trading later on but before I really get involved with this and waste my time I will research more. I will also monitor it for now.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much money do you invest in alt coins? on: May 12, 2017, 04:04:59 AM
So far I have invested 0.03 BTC only on altcoins way back when ltc was 0.005BTC, when doge was around 30 satoshi somewhere around that and at the time ETH was 0.01 BTC. For now I have sold it all and got about 0.1 BTC+ from my investment I guess it was a wise decision to buying them. For now I am picking new altcoins to invest from when I rebuy some bitcoin.
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want to give "day trading" a go, question is where? on: May 12, 2017, 02:37:19 AM
Hello everyone,

I thought of giving day trading a go, I do have a limit of funds to invest into this project, and it's XXXX, I am also aware that I CAN and WILL most likely loose funds doing this, but I am doing this for "fun" and my limit or spendings on this project is not making me homeless nor is it going to make me cry, if I do end up loosing.

I just wanted to know, what kind of platform everyone is using for day trading, or trading in general, which site should I avoid, give me your best suggestions :-)

Thank you!
Another suggestion I have is c-cex.com it is also a nice exchange for me like those mentioned by Viper1 it also got big volumes of transactions and many altcoins to choose from if you really want to day trade. You should avoid using yobit.net since their support team sucks and many altcoins listed there are just shitcoins. Another suggestion I got is that before investing, look up the altcoins you will buy here in bitcointalk if they got their respective announcement threads there and see if it is good or not.
1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum beat Bitcoin to an ETF? on: May 12, 2017, 01:34:05 AM
Personally I think Ethereum will not beat bitcoin to an ETF approval by SEC but looking at the linked news from cryptonews by OP it might beat bitcoin to an ETF but it is hard to say. As said in the link given by you OP, "SEC tends to think about ETH as an asset", not a currency which made me think twice therefore even if it is approved it wouldn't be considered as a currency in the first place but as an asset, like stocks. Also, there is only one reason for SEC to be tempted to approve it, ETH markets on United States, China and South Korea being in a well regulated manner which is the dominant markets which I think would not be enough to say for sure that Ethereum will be the first to have an ETF approval because there are many more unregulated markets similar to bitcoin exchanges even if the dominant ones are regulated.
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoin prices down when bitcoin up. on: May 12, 2017, 12:45:20 AM
i'm begin. what happen !   Huh Huh
The others have said that altcoin prices are down when bitcoin is up because bitcoin increases in dollar value so many sell their altcoins, it is the most common reason but sometimes it is not the real reason for a dump during bitcoin price's upward movement. Even if bitcoin is pumped, there will be certain altcoins that are pumped too but the majority are dumped probably because some certain altcoins are being speculated as well at the time bitcoin is pumped while the others are just ending their current hype they had and it is just showing it's regular movements. For further analysis you can look at https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ so that you can see, some certain altcoins are pumped and is in the green.
1252  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poloniex caused the market to crash on: May 10, 2017, 01:32:14 AM
Poloniex has a big capital volume of the bitcoin into trading. The server down is just a technical issue which is just because of the increased number of buy and sell orders that are happening due to the ongoing steeper price fluctuations. This might have caused the crash to some extent but not that big.
Maybe but it is not a thing to worry about I think since even if their server is down they will be back again soon so I will just be patient about it. I't is not that big of a crash though in some altcoins but on some it is big but I think it is not caused by poloniex but the traders there does it just to make profit or they just want to buy cheaper so they dump their coins with a positive profit.
1253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRB] Creditbit - ERC20 token on: May 10, 2017, 12:28:54 AM
I know they are a mess at best. I use livecoin now. I started on yobit though.
I started in yobit too and got some bad experience with it. From my observations on livecoin it looks like someone was trying to dump creditbit price it got a huge sell order of 1 BTC sell wall at 50700 satoshi right now. Anyone who tried using cryptodao exchange? It was an exchange listed on coinmarketcap when I looked up creditbit.
1254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell my BTC or buy more? on: May 09, 2017, 06:46:03 AM
Here's a little advice OP when you are undecided why not sell a part of your bitcoin and hold the others for example, selling 0.2 BTC of your 1.2 BTC and then wait for either pump or dump. That way you can debuy more when it dumps and you can sell a fraction again if it pumped hard. Do this only if you are undecided and doesn't want to regret your decision to either hold or sell.
1255  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: The Illuminati Prophecies on: May 09, 2017, 03:12:44 AM

1256  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Palagi Ka bang Biktima ng Scams? on: May 09, 2017, 12:10:01 AM
so far di pa ako naiiscam and sana wag naman. bago palang den ako sa bitcoin and i do trading sa POLO. Muka ba syang scam ? i think sana hinde, and so far ok naman yung takbo ng pera ko.
As far as I know poloniex is not a scam kasi poloniex is one of the most known and used exchanges in crypto currency world so for now I can say that hindi sya scam at ang poloniex ay isang legit na exchange to exchange altcoins to btc and btc to altcoins. Pwede ka lang ma-iscam dyan ng pera kapag bumili ka ng altcoin na worthless talaga at tumaas lang dahil sa hype baka maging bagholder ka lang kaya iwasan mo yung mga ganong altcoin.
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Ask] How To Choose High Paying And Trusted Bounty Programs? on: May 08, 2017, 10:05:55 AM
1. If the campaign manager has a high reputation or there is an escrow involved, you are most likely to get the payment you are owned.

2. (Your stakes / Total stakes) X total coins for signature campaign bounty = your earned coins
Great thanks for your answer, Manager in signature campaign is part of the important thing to consider. Ok I understand.
Don't just look at the reputation of a campaign manager or having an escrow involved because sometimes even if there are, you don't profit that big so you should look into the roadmap, whitepaper, and also its possible usage and if the teams working hard or not sometimes it can determine whether if an altcoin bounty signature campaign is good or not.
1258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ASK] Why do people buy altcoin? on: May 08, 2017, 07:48:31 AM
People buy altcoins most of the time just to make profit out of them like what others do to bitcoin since one can multiply their money on altcoins 2X or more of the bitcoin they got in literally less than months sometimes it takes only a couple of days. Some buys and hold it for long term just because of the same reason since holding an altcoin long term can sometimes give 10X or more of the invested money of the investor if an altcoin is good and got potential. They can be sometimes used in gambling too but these reason is uncommon.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin be replaced, at least temporarily, by Ether? on: May 08, 2017, 07:16:42 AM
I don't think that ethereum can replace bitcoin even if it is short term. Even in the future, I don't think that it would replace ethereum even if there is a new good ETH based token because bitcoin still got more usage than it unless they will add more feature to ethereum besides the ones it has now or bitcoin will crash which is unlikely to happen ever in the near and maybe in the far future.
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy 44 Altcoins on exchanges tomorrow for a total of 4000$ on: May 08, 2017, 04:22:49 AM
44! That's just throwing a bunch of blind darts at a target and hopes one hits a bullseye. Better to research and allocate the $4k to the altcoins you think have the best tech and future.
Yeah and it is not just throwing a bunch of blind darts at a target, it is a pain in the ass to store unless those altcoins are just tokens or a smart contract for example incent which is waves platform based. I think its better for you OP to lessen it since it would be hard storing them at 44 kinds of altcoin wallet at most if you don't want them to be in exchanges.
