1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin AI Generated Images on: January 15, 2023, 08:26:31 PM
As a hobbyist artist, I must say I have got mixed feelings about artificial intelligence and art.
On one hand, I believe it is cool how the technology has advanced to the point a program can understand the concept behind an artistic piece, this was science fiction not long ago. On the other hand, I am afraid this could negatively impact my fellow professional artists, who already struggle to make a living out their passion...

Anyways, cool pictures. OP.
I would say that the technology have slowly killed the living of many people. Usually, those who are not related online/digital but in exchange of it, it is that many opportunities have also opened up but only to those who have a knowledge on online/digital.

Maybe those traditional artist can try upgrading and try doing digital arts because this can be the future. If not then they are free to find a new career. I just do not say that the pictures shared by the OP are all nice. This wasn't the first time I saw this but there is a one thread here last time who upload almost the same pictures. It seems that we are now being invaded by the AI but I still prefer those good old drawings tbh.
1242  Economy / Economics / Re: My investments ahead of the 2024 halving 100% Bitcoin on: January 14, 2023, 07:29:54 PM
As most of us here are already aware that the bitcoin halving cycle always bring with it an opportunity for another Bitcoin all time high price, even though we can not predict when the exact time for this AHT will be but we are certain it will come.

At the moment I am I am intense face of portfolio accumulation and I will like to share them with some newbies who may be confused on how to prepare for the expected time and what their portfolio should look like.

This thread is not for speculation, but a personal contribution and suggestion as motivated by my personal decision against the next halving and I will share them with any one that like to read through the thread and also consider the comments of others that will go inline with your personal convictions.
It is important to note that the halving event, which occurs every 210,000 blocks mined, or roughly every four years, has historically resulted in an increase in the price of Bitcoin over time. However, it's important to remember that past performance is not a guarantee of future results and that the cryptocurrency market is highly volatile. It's also worth noting that different investors have different risk tolerance and investment strategies, what works for one person may not work for another.

Diversifying your portfolio can help spread risk and potentially increase returns, but it's important to conduct your own due diligence and make suggested decisions time to time to get consistent returns.
1243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is investing in ethereum safe? on: January 14, 2023, 04:15:24 PM
I don't have experience in altcoins, but I have quite an interest in investing in altcoins, but when I hear the news that investing in altcoins is very dangerous because the potential for losses is so big, but I found out on the internet, it turns out that we can invest in altcoins as long as the in quality altcoins,
and finally I saw on cmc that the number 1 altcoin is ethereum, and finally I'm quite interested if I have the capital to want to invest in ethereum.
You won't build an experience if you will just stare there. And you said you have a burning interest on the altcoins? So, why would you limit yourself. I think that's no different from torturing yourself. Forget about the news you hear about how bad the altcoins are, as you know that it's not true because altcoins are not a single coin but it's only just a name or categorization of a crypto.

Altcoins are actually composed of different cryptos and there must be a few of them (if not most) who are legit. But for ETH. I think I have a mix feeling about this alt. Sure it's old and currently number one in the altcoin category but this have some anomalies, I think that's because it's more of a centralized coin. Maybe you can only invest small on it and then find a better altcoin, preferably decentralized and not totally new.
1244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 50% Down Move Incoming? on: January 13, 2023, 09:39:23 PM
Now i cant be sure if we would be able to break that 19200+ resistance or not, if it would then 20k or more would be likely to happen within this month or even on next
but if it would be rejected then 16k might be seen again.
That resistance has already been broken, and it seems that the path to $20k is open, although I don't know if there is a sell wall waiting for us there that will stop this mini bull run. To me, the only logical explanation is that good economic conditions were created at the beginning of the year and that money finally started flowing in all directions. Someone in WO wrote a few days ago that $20k is only a matter of days, and as it seems now, it could happen even before this week is over, or at the beginning of next week.

As for $16k, I don't rule out that possibility again, although it seems to me that there are more chances that it won't happen, but that's just my feeling.
I think resistance is not the key anymore, because the problem is with how much money we have to do this at all. I know that many people will want to see something much better like 20k+ and then 25k+ and so forth, but do we have that much funds that could go in the market right now.

Looking at how much USDT and BUSD etc etc we have in the market, if people started to spend that all, or even if not all but just half of that, we would be back to ATH prices, so the funding is there but are we willing to use it? I am not entirely sure. We could break resistance points not by just buying them all, but also making them fear they are missing out as well.
1245  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUSTDICE: up to $25 FREE BONUS [NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED] Forum EXCLUSIVE! on: January 13, 2023, 05:29:06 PM
In the spirit of justice since both of them have their issues resolved they should do the needful by removing the tag since leaving them at this point make their feedback wrong since the problem mentioned is already solved by the trustdice team.

And regardless if the members are on DT or not a tag is a tag anyways and once given for a specific reseason it should be reviewed from time to time if and when the issues are resolved.
Sometimes they are more concerned about the behavior of the casino more than the result itself. A casino may have solved the case but how they reacted in a particular situation can draw criticism or appreciation from the community. I feel a neutral tag is warranted in such cases that are solved but you have a strong opinion based on that case.

And as Solosanz mentioned, it's a open forum and anyone is free to give any feedback although DT are more careful because their feedback carry more weight. It would be ideal to solve the problem via direct communication with the DT members and explaining to them.
1246  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 13, 2023, 03:38:22 PM
at least you managed to control yourself to stop playing when you really don't feel like luck is on your side, that's a win in my opinion, sometimes people play gambling when they feel luck is not on their side they keep selling whatever they have to keep playing and that is misbehavior they will continue to lose
I suppose the difficulty to stop when you are losing varies for each person because I find it very easily to stop when things are not going my way, after all I know that I depend on my luck to win and if that night luck is not on my side I have no problem stopping early and then doing something else with my time, I would think that stopping when your luck is on your side is more difficult because those days are rare and when once one finally comes you do not want it to end and you would like to keep gambling.
Depends on the person like you said. When I am losing money and I have some balance left, it's near impossible for me to stop because I just want to chase the losses and at least end up break even and that hardly happens. That said, I always deposit the amount I know is ok to play with so never going out of control. I acquired a bad habit of playing dice when stake did the 25 days of Christmas drops because they had $10k wager requirements every week and was even raised to $15k by the end so I was playing dice too much and it's quite addictive.

I see a lot of discussion on forum about a yearly bonus and I really hope stake thinks about it and it can be on the 31st of December every year.
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Degods -> ETH, y00ts -> Polygon, Will $SOL going down more? on: January 13, 2023, 10:12:21 AM
The move to the $SOL network was mainly due to the fee issue, so when the fees return to stability, it is better to work on the Ethereum and Polygon rather than risk a central network that can shut down if the load is high.
Solana chain has started to lose a lot of momentum recently, and many currencies are looking for rapid development, so a decrease in revenue means a lack of investors, which means a slow network means its death.

I do not think that the Solana chain has reached the stage of death, and therefore things will move slowly, and if the platform does not develop quickly, losing all liquidity is a matter of time.
I think they didn't move to SOL. They started from it but now the dev's have implemented a bridge to ETH and Polygon. I don't think the reason for it is about the fees as I never heard SOL before experience an increase in fees like on what we see in ETH and maybe in polygon but that's because they got a lot of traffic but I still think that the increase in fees in matic is not that much as compared to ETH, so it was still a good alternative.

It's reported before that Solana is undergoing some issues but it's still far from dying as it's devs are still looking for a way to fix it's issues. I don't think it's devs will let that happen. So people or it's supporters should keep the same faith for the coin.
1248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 12, 2023, 09:21:29 PM
Napoli - Juventus game is going to be a very lovely start to the new game week.

Juventus can't get a win in Napoli's stadium for four years. And I don't feel like this is the time they are winning as well. Because Juventus still have some injured players who are important for the team. They need players like Vlahovic to be better at finishing. That has been their main problem recently as you know. They find many goal opportunities but waste most of them. They have got many victories by very close scores for weeks. Napoli got a shocking defeat by Inter first but they still seemed good by the Sampdoria game. I think Napoli might win by one goal.
Already placed my bet in the game and fixing a win for the home team. Napoli best form is this season and they're topping the table and Luciano spalleti always doing his best to make his team keep leading on the table. Witnessing Naples hosting the old lady's in the stadio Diego Armando Marandona, this weekend is officially the big game in Seria A. Juventus keyplayers are injured but they can meetup the energy of their rival, so tense to see who will win the scudetto this season, because it's definitely a long run for the both contenders.
With the current form Juventus is having some edge, but Napoli is playing at home, and they never defeat against them at home in last four matches which is clearly giving indicator that Napoli can in this match against Juventus, but if we check their recent record then surely Juventus is also having good advantage with no lost in last seven matches and having clean sheets as well because now things looking improved, and they can shine more for the better result.

But against few top players from the Juventus are out of the playing list which make few thing's meme but hopefully without these key players they will fight against them and having better and improved performance.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 12, 2023, 08:45:41 PM
Looking at the odds, it's clear that there's no hope for Verona to be able to beat Inter Milan, even just to make it a draw looks difficult, not only because Verona is a weak team, but the venue for the match will also be very decisive.
I don't want to say that Inter will win this match easily and also there will be no surprises because this is always possible it's just that if Inter loses in this match then congratulations to those who dare to bet on Verona on the Money Line
Most of the time odds never give true story of the team strength because we have too many unpredictable results and shocking performance from the weaker sides in big games like we have in Copa Italia where Inter held by Serie B team Parma so here most chances Inter will be won easily, but we can expect tough challenge by Verona which is doing good after the break and won four points from last two games.

In last few games Verona create problems for the Inter but in current season they fail to have any win from away games which is also not good and here they can give good competition but stealing point could be not easy because after beating Napoli, Inter is also having positive development and want to have better results until end of this season.
1250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What could have Satoshi faced if he made himself known from the beginning on: January 12, 2023, 07:11:58 PM
On a negative note, I think Satoshi is already dead, silenced by the authority thinking that Bitcoin will somehow stop propagating once Satoshi is killed.
I am with you on this and the country it started from matters. There are countries that are not democratic, and once they see him as a threat, they might eliminate him before people start knowing what Bitcoin is. We only appreciate it today because it overcame all hurdles, and if Satoshi is seen now, nothing would be done to him again, but he must beware of the countries where crypto is banned.
This seems brutal but it's possible since his invention is something that can affect other businesses. Maybe this is the reason why he prefer to be anonymous even until now where there are now lots of cryptos but the focus of those haters/killers can be locked only at him since he started it all. I remember there are people who claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto.

These people must be brave and they didn't know what can possibly happen to them. Good thing they are still alive but that's because the haters/killers know that they are also fake as the world isn't totally convinced if they are really Satoshi. Until now there are still people who are hoping that Satoshi will appear one day. I think these people aren't thinking about the consequences that could happen with the guy or to his invention.
1251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 12, 2023, 06:34:41 PM
Manchester United and City held cup matches, Manchester United confidently beat Charlton, and City lost to Southampton. Apparently, Guardiola decided to give the players a rest before the important match with Manchester United, De Bruyne and Haaland came on as a substitute only in the second half, but this did not change anything. For City, the Premier League is more important now, because if they lose, or even draw with Manchester United, then this will further aggravate their situation.
Currently, Ten Haq strategy is working for the Manchester United, and they have good results in all competitions which is positive development after long time right now Manchester United is only English side which is competing in all four competitions and now most chances they could be able to have place into EFL final against Southampton/Newcastle United because they have semifinal against Nottingham.

After losing against Aston Villa in 15th round of the Premier League now they have 8 matches winning streak in all competitions which is amazing stuff and now things looking good for them with they have big derby match against Manchester City on 14th January which will give them better view about their progress in Premier League.
1252  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich Mindset vs Poor Mindset : 6 key differences on: January 11, 2023, 09:06:51 PM
Very situational and it is something that you can really avoid not to think specially if you are on a condition on which money or finances is the main issues and this is why you cant really be able to make up some further step just because you dont have the capacity on doing so and this what limits you on making further step which other people couldnt see and just make out some conclusions that poor people doesnt really
make any steps on making their lives more better which is something that you dont know the real story behind.
If the person came from a rich clan then yes. They can talk like that because they never experience to become one of the poors but there are also rich people who started as a poor. They know how hard it's like to become one so they respect them and they even provide help if they have the chance.

It is also not true that poor people are not risk takers. If so then why there are so many addicted gamblers on poorer countries? Not just gambling but many of them do also venture different fields eg. opening a business, doing investments, trading and so on. Sometimes it's not really about our status in life but it can also be about how lucky or unlucky we are.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: January 10, 2023, 09:39:12 PM
Twente can't actually be a title candidate, can it? They are in a good 4th place but becoming first seems impossible. Ajax is having a somewhat lesser period now and the same applies to PSV. But look at the content of the selections and compare that with a team like Twente. Then they could actually just finish in the top 10. If they finished 4th they would have had a great season I think. But you don't know, if they win the match against Ajax, it will also be a very long year for Ajax. Ajax has a huge budget and actually made very moderate purchases at the start of this season. The loss of Haller could not be accommodated.
Twente is a title candidate like any other of the 4 teams, Ajax lost some very important players in the summer which brought them a lot of money but also quality is lost. In addition, the coach left in the summer and that could be the biggest problem. For us spectators, such a season is of course very good, normally it is always a duel between Ajax and PSV.
In this season, we have improvement in quality from few teams and look like we are going to have an exciting end of the season which is currently allowing all five teams a fair chance for the title race with after break as we have all top four teams ended with draws and only Tewnte were able to win their match and cut the gap for having close range with third rank PSV which is just three points behind from leaders Feyenoord.

Due to high demand of Ajax and PSV top players in other big clubs now these both teams are suffering and trying to keep momentum which is surely not easy because top players were giving them good advantage and better quality which was surely doing good results as well for them but now all on same level.
1254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom of the Bear Market...let's accumulate!! on: January 10, 2023, 08:33:02 PM
Who is accumulating and how much are you hoping to add to your stash this year?
Wow, you have a deep pocket I must say, I wanted to stash 1 BTC but I doubt that I can get it before the eventual bull run. I'm also doing DCA, but still depend on my capital that week or that month. But I'm still doing it slowly, as much as I can, or shall we can, invest what you can afford to lose. So for me probably a good .25-.3 BTC might be a good start for me this 2023 and up until the halving and maybe I will continue till 2025 and see how far can I go and hopefully was able to get that goal or even higher.
Indeed. He is buying in great quantities especially last year when BTC value is much higher than what we have now and he said that he is just DCA'ing but usually, those amounts are already good for those who buy rarely. Maybe this guy is one of those above average retail investors.

What we can do is to only predict and based our prediction in the past performance of the coins but it may not always be followed so don't lose hope on what you are planning. Maybe the bull run can be delayed again and you will have a chance to accumulate one bitcoin before it comes. Just don't focus beyond your first goal but focus on finishing it first before setting a new record again.
1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 10, 2023, 02:05:02 PM
Real Madrid is a very complete and organised team. They have the right mentality and great team work to compete at any level.  They have beaten Liverpool twice in their past meetings so the next meeting I expect to see a very competitive game between both sides. I know it wouldn't be an easy game for Liverpool but at the least I expect the game to be tough for both sides.
Even we have still more than one month in this match between Liverpool vs Real Madrid and many things can happen with these two teams during this time but right now both are having not good performance which is clearly indicating things could be interesting for this match which will advance into next round it all depends on performance on the game day Real Madrid lost away match against Villarreal and Liverpool lost against Brentford hopefully both will work on their improvement for the coming matches but still talking about who could be winner in this competition surely not easy for anyone as currently both have focus on domestic league with Liverpool is more concerned about their position Real Madrid is still having second spot in La Liga.
1256  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: January 09, 2023, 09:26:22 PM
Wow... If I earn $3000 of income and still be 20 years old, that is already a very big achievement in my country even maybe it is almost the same as my father's income for 10 months working.
But maybe what OP meant was more precisely saving to invest regardless of income because basically the minimum wage for each country has its own variance according to regional standardization. Now I may not be able to get a steady income for a month but I can still save even though it's not 1/3 of my income because for me if you want to get better, no matter how small the money you invest, if you do it continuously, you will get the expected return.
Basically, 18 years old is the standard legal age, so if only you start applying for work and get your own job at this age, then you can be able to save up even above 3k dollars for 2 years of working or by the time you hit 20 years old. You shouldn't also under estimate the income of your father.

So, what if he took him 3 months of working only to earn it? What is still important is that the source of money is clean and not came from doing illegal activities. What is you current job now by the way? Maybe you are only relying in cryptos. It's normal that it won't be stable but you can try to look for a real job outside, if you want something stable.
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Excessive greed is detrimental to investment on: January 09, 2023, 08:24:40 PM
I believe we can't misunderstand greed with ambition. I think @redsun114 meant ambition by his example, because that is what lead us to seek for more money, for better life quality, for status and every other human needs that for some seem bullshit, but for others are necessary for their personal fulfillment and happiness.

Greed, on the other hand, is the insatiable characteristic some people have inside themselves. In this case nothing is enough for the person. He can have all the money of the world, best life standards and status on his society, but he still want more, even though it's not possible. These people losing all their money trading and gambling due to greed would act in the same manner if they were in a superior position, and some of them were for a while and lost everything for being insatiable!
Great that you break it down in order for them to clear out what they are talking about. So, according to your explanation, we can clearly see that ambition is much better than greed but too much ambition can occur too for us humans and this doesn't differ anymore from being greedy.

Speaking of greedy, many of us are currently suffering from it even though we know that it's wrong. In life, we should have this so-called contentment so that we won't fail if we are already at the highest peak of our careers. A lot of poor have this trait already but I think they need to try harder because they are still at the lowest point of their lives.
1258  Economy / Economics / Re: Save your environmental economic cycle on: January 08, 2023, 08:09:54 AM
On the one hand, you are right that some merchants went bankrupt and this is certainly very bad, but the progress that we so wanted so much is to some extent to blame. The ability to order goods without leaving home is cool, it saves you time and sometimes even money, which is why people are increasingly choosing the opportunity to shop online. So I went to a large store to buy a synthesizer for my child, and it turned out that it simply wasn’t in stores. And I had to go home and order it online. And believe me, this happens so often now. Then why should I waste time and money on a trip to the store when they don't have what I need? This is just one example. But I want to reassure you, there are still many people who buy goods in real stores and markets.
what you say is true. other than that the items we want don't exist and it's a waste of time traveling from home to the store. there are other things that make online shopping a lot of interest.

As happened to me, I found an item at an online shop in the same city but couldn't serve it offline. After searching, I found the offline store, but the prices there were all more expensive than those online.

a little confused even though online you have to pack and have to pay for the courier too. What's the difference in management? what's the difference in taxes? Is this a strategy for eliminating offline stores? Those who know can answer yes.
Traveling still has its own benefits too. I am not talking about riding a vehicle but when we simply walk. We can burn some extra calories this way which is good for our body. People shouldn't be lazy and rely all to online because it can also cause a health problem in the long run.

I think the reason why items on offline shops are a little expensive is because they pay a rent for that place. They do also have other expenses like water bills, electricity, personnels, etc. but this all can be avoided if the setup is only online. Yes, they can pay for the courier but they can save a lot if the items that will be delivered are in bulk. This isn't a strategy to eliminate offline stores. That's crazy.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from BONK on: January 07, 2023, 09:09:05 PM
you should remember that this is meme coin despite rising in value so tremendously at the end of the day it's still meme coin, the value seems like it's about to get plummeted and if you are late to make your investment you should be more careful because you could be stuck. I have my share of doubt that this coin could ever become the next shiba inu for the very reason that there are rumours that says this coin majority of supplies is owned by very few bagholders and that could be really worse condition meme coins be.
If you are talking about the OP then he already knows this but for those who are new to it then it's only up to them if they will make up their own research or not. I don't know why but I already got a bad feeling even by just looking at the name of this coin but it reminds me of the nes game which is also called bonk.

Not that I hate that game or what but the character of that game is a bald boy which also look like a bad person lol. So many meme coins are trying to imitate shiba inu but they are only dreaming. If they want to be like shiba then they may need a big capital first to pay a good influencer like Elon Musk to promote their coin and maybe they will need to add a unique utility on their coin for them to stand out in the crowd.
1260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to memorize seed phrase? on: January 06, 2023, 06:44:59 PM
I believe we must have seen or heard about fire outbreaks, where buildings are completely erased by fire. Imagine if the owner or occupant of such a building has some Bitcoin assets, and has his/her phone, tablet, laptop and the seed phrase piece of paper in the building and everything was lost to fire. Now, this brings me to the question... Can seed phrase be memorized? It's advisable to memorize seed phrase?
It isn't advisable but it should come in handy instead of going to the place where you hide your seeds only to open up your wallet but we shouldn't be confident with how good our memory was, so it is always safe to have a back up. Write it down in something sturdy so that it will survive any hazardous elements. Some vaults are also strong and I think not all of them are expensive, especially the smaller ones.

The only thing that boggles me is that when we say vault. The first thing will then came to our mind is money and other valuable items. Criminals and even the normal person knows this. They will always be after it once they see it so I still prefer to keep my keys in a secret location instead.
