12401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin needs sex workers on: September 26, 2016, 06:04:58 AM
Why will you give the burden to the sex workers, when you can convert your btc to fiat for your payment. Plus the time of confirmation of your btc transaction will take long not unless everything is arrange including the payment and where. Also it will be inappropriate for them as cash is the most reliable and faster way to pay. Converting your btc to fiat will be a quick solution.

The transaction confirmation cannot take longer than it takes for the average man or women to orgasm. < If it does, you need to consider using Xapo with their offchain transactions, Mr Seconds > Most sex workers demand their payment in advance, so you can start the transactions, and then wait for the first 2 confirmations and then you ready to go.

Just is just one of the reasons, why I hate fiat cash, because it's full of cum and cocaine and feces. <reality is a bitch>
12402  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who is the Founder of Bitcoin?! on: September 26, 2016, 05:55:17 AM
I am still confused whether bitcoin's creator Satoshi Nakamoto or not. from my search on the internet turns out there claiming to be the founder of the actual bitcoin, he named Steven Wright comes from Sydney Australia.dan many people who agree that The real Steven Wright is the creator of bitcoin. hmmm, could it? I'm still not entirely sure .. everything is still unknown about bitcoin creator.  Huh

Satoshi Nakamoto could be more than one person, we do not know. One thing we do know now, is that Bitcoin was handed over to the people, so every single one of us using it now, are Satoshi Nakamoto. We are the miners that keep the technology going, we host the nodes and we make the decision and we are the developers of the new code.

We are, Satoshi Nakamoto. ^smile^
12403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thank you Mr. Wright for creating bitcoin! on: September 26, 2016, 05:49:28 AM
All the Aussies go, Yay!! and the rest of the world go, Nay!! If Satoshi wants to come out of hiding, he would not need any PR stunt to do it. He would quietly move some of the Satoshi hoard, and someone will pick up on that, and then BOOM!! The media circus will start and the Bitcoin choas will erupt with people dumping loads of coins, in anticipation of a Satoshi dump. ^smile^
12404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Separate Computer for Bitcoin/Financial Information vs Personal? on: September 26, 2016, 05:41:10 AM
3 external hard drives?  can you explain how it works?  so not possible for your main computer to get virus?

Most of these nasty viruses are installed on your hard drive. If you have different hard drives for different purposes, then you do not need to buy a whole new computer for every application. So in theory, if you want to watch porn, you swap out the <porn> hard drive with the <normal use> hard drive, and you set to go.

The docking station, just make it easier for you to "wipe" all information, when you want to start over. This is a example of one of these I used before. It has "offline" cloning, so you just press one button and install zero software. :

12405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Explained in a Single Tweet on: September 26, 2016, 05:30:08 AM
I would have used something like this : Bitcoin, The internet version of Money. Awesome! I guess Andreas's new book title is the closest explanation of what Bitcoin is, namely "The internet of Money" Twitter is a great platform, but it's limited in it's application, and this is one of the reasons. ^hmmmm^
12406  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-09-22] Developing nations would be $3.7 trillion richer on: September 23, 2016, 08:14:34 AM
http://qz.com/787137/developing-nations-would-be-3-7-trillion-richer-if-more-people-could-handle-their-finances-from-their-mobile-phones-instead-of-going-to-the-bank/

In developing nations, however, two billion people don’t have access to basic financial services such as savings accounts and credit. That’s almost half of the developing world’s adult population. Giving most of these people access to those services using mobile phones and the internet would increase the GDP of emerging economies by $3.7 trillion by 2025, according to a study by the McKinsey Global Institute. That’s a 6% boost.

Mobile payments lower the cost of providing financial services by as much as 90%. This would let providers serve low-income customers and still make a profit.

Bitcoin and most other mobile payment options are becoming more popular now. [ Example M-Pesa ]
12407  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBTCmine.com - Mine bitcoin game. on: September 23, 2016, 07:04:48 AM
If you insist on email signups, you should consider posting some screen captures of the game on this thread for people to get an idea of what they are missing out on, if they not joining. I have seen people doing this and also placing links to a small demo video on Youtube, and their faucet membership exploded. ^smile^

People need to see what they are signing up for, before they sign the contract. ^heh^
12408  Economy / Services / Re: I would like to purchase on: September 23, 2016, 06:56:13 AM
I think this topic should be moved to the Micro Earning section here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=212.0 even though it might be a new project, it will get more exposure from faucet owners and developers in that section. There are custom scripts being sold for faucets, but I would suggest you try and get hold of that specific owner, and ask if you can buy a skeleton of his script. ^smile^

12409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Phishing : The Next Wave -Open Dns on: September 23, 2016, 06:47:31 AM
I do not copy and paste my URL's and I store the majority of my coins in cold storage. Almost 80% of my coins are stored on paper wallets and the <mobile> coins, or that is what I named them, are stored on a hardware wallet. <Trezor> They can Phish away, but I am not biting on those hooks. ^smile^

My advice is simple, buy a Trezor and do not store large amounts of coins on exchanges or online wallets. ^smile^
12410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is a screamin' lunatic! on: September 23, 2016, 06:39:51 AM
CW is definitely not Satoshi Nakamoto, "We are all Satoshi now." ... Satoshi was not self centered and out seeking for fame and fortune and attention. CW on the other hand are trying too hard to sell himself and this looks like the behavior of a Snake Oil salesman.

We have said it multiple times before, " Move some of your early coins, and we will take you more seriously " ^hmmmm^
12411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is running a node getting costlier? on: September 23, 2016, 06:20:42 AM
If you are from a middle income group in a third world country, running a node will not be a option. This is due to the running cost and the lack of fast broadband connections. Most of these countries have very high costs for bandwidth and it is also capped at very low amounts. { 50 to 100 GB per month }

I have lived and worked in African countries and they are far behind the rest of the world with broadband access and it's prohibitively expensive. ^hmmmm^
12412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is earning bitcoin Boring? on: September 23, 2016, 05:55:01 AM
How can anything to do with Bitcoin be boring? We are lucky because we are at the forefront of this technology. If you look at the adoption cycle of any new technology, we are still the pioneers of this technology. We explore the areas and innovation of a technology that will change the financial world.

We experience micro payment for micro tasks and smart contracts and a digital currency that are not controlled by 3rd parties. This is ground breaking stuff!!! ^smile^
12413  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Education [Brainstorming] on: September 22, 2016, 06:55:30 AM
I would concentrate on the introduction to Bitcoin <Basic theory on what it is> first and then move on to the services and goods that are available for sale with Bitcoin payment. <They should see that it is a payment option that are widely accepted>

The last thing you would have to educate them on, is how to spot the difference between legitimate sites and scams. This might help you with that, http://www.badbitcoin.org/

Thank you for your positive contribution towards Bitcoin, we need more people like you to take this mainstream. ^smile^
12414  Economy / Digital goods / Re: How Much an Hero Member account worth with bitmixer campaign? on: September 22, 2016, 06:40:41 AM
Will the campaign manager allow to the new account owner to keep participating in the campaign if he finds out the account has been sold? This is not very likely and the buyer takes a risk. Unless he's not interested to continue the campaign. But otherwise you could easily get 0.5 BTC for your account.

.
^^^  Yeah, this.  I priced my account over at that thread and got an approx. price of BTC0.37.

Since bitmixer.io has been here a long time, with an excellent reputation, a Hero account would be worth some BTC0.5, IMO.

However, the Campaign Manager would possibly not be in favor of the account holder selling to an unknown new owner.

My 2 cents...

None of the sales anyways happen with the public knowing. So you are obviously not running into that risk.

They still moderate the quality of the posts, and if the new user starts posting non-constructive posts, he or she will be banned from the campaign. The members in that campaign has proven their worth and has shown that they can promote the campaign with quality posts.

There are no guarantees that the manager of the campaign will not pick up that the ownership changed and that the post quality deteriorated, so he or she might end up buying a Hero account and then get kicked off the campaign. ^hmm^
12415  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do you earn from bitcointalk? on: September 22, 2016, 06:22:39 AM
If this is your only form of income for your family, I would worry about your future. The signature campaigns come and go, and the competition to join them are fierce. There are also scam campaigns that will have you work for a month, and then you get zero income from them.

If you live in a third world country, this type of income could sustain a family for a while, but $10 to $15 per week will not take you very far, but it would help if you have free internet. Tell us a bit more about your situation and how you survive on signature campaign income. ^smile^
12416  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: September 22, 2016, 06:11:05 AM
We have been under DDOS attack for the past ~4 hours. They seem to be giving up since it doesn't seem to be having any impact (we have a load-distributed setup with 14 servers in multiple continents). Everything is running fast but there may be an occasional delay or two at times. Sorry for the inconvenience.

How would they benefit from doing that? It must be one of your competitor faucets out there, hoping that your site will fail, and that they can grab a share of your users, whilst you are down. ^hmmmm^ The problem is, your site attract users because you offer a excellent service and a enjoyable experience.

It is good to know you have good counter measures for DDoS attacks, I use it every day, and would hate to see it going down, because of these stupid attacks.
12417  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: September 22, 2016, 05:51:05 AM
Porn really does not need bitcoin because they could create a similar project and do just as well.
The one aspect I see them using a cryptocurrency would be with virtual reality and will need something in play as every pervert gets his rocks off in a new way.

If it was not for porn, the internet would not have taken off in such a explosive way that it had. The single most popular adult site in the world is LiveJasmin.com, a webcam site which gets around 32 million visitors a month, or almost 2.5% of all Internet users!

People are sexual beings, and this should not be confused with perversion. One of the books called "Grey" in the "Fifty Shades of Grey"  series of books from E.L. James, sold over 1 million copies in four days. ^smile^
12418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When BTC hits 21M, how will the system balance the lost BTC in lost Wallets? on: September 22, 2016, 05:35:02 AM
Bitcoin's price is determined by supply and demand. If the supply side dry up, the theory is that the price will go up, depending on if the demand stay the same. The lost coins are impossible to identify, because nobody knows if unused coins are hoarded or lost.

The blockchain or the protocol cannot spot the difference to rectify or to balance out the situation. Bitcoin was developed to be like gold, where the token scarcity has a influence on the price. ^smile^
12419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet that allows to set up custom address on: September 22, 2016, 05:28:46 AM
https://www.bitaddress.org has got a Vanity wallet feature too, but I have never used it before. I prefer to use normal
single address generated addresses being done on a offline computer. Download the script from Github or you can save the whole site to your desktop and then copy it to another offline computer. ^smile^

12420  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1BTC = $600USD, now a good time to buy? on: September 21, 2016, 06:41:35 AM
I truly think that bitcoin will drop this week to around $500 in price as its been around $600 for a long time.

Sorry to say this, but this is Bullshit. If you want to make statements like this, at least substantiate your claims with some evidence or a reason why this will happen. The truth is, nobody can predict with 100% accuracy what will happen with the price, because there are too many factors to take into consideration.

If you know in advance, what mayor event will be happening in the next weeks that will push the price up or down, you can make predictions like this. For example : Being a hacker, and knowing that you are going to hack a big exchange and that people will lose a lot of money. This scandal will cause a decrease in the use of Bitcoin and a drop in the price.

So let's refrain from making claims, we are not willing or able to back with proof. ^hmmmmmm^
