It's good that you asked before testing , usually when it's too good to be true then it's a scam .
you should check out their official thread right here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=759702.100 and read the reviews of people and ask their , OP on that thread claim that they paid 700 BTC so far .
12402  Economy / Speculation / Re: why bitcoin is dumped so hard? on: August 19, 2015, 07:17:31 AM
This Price fluctuation of Bitcoin can continue till the fork in January.  Only after that fork, Bitcoin price can stabilize.

january, where is the source of this, would you mind writing it ? because i thought it was around 1 march

Some people panic to sell there bitcoin

apparently is very easy to instigate panic selling, well more cheap cons for the other, see this as a donation

Visit http://xtnodes.com/ and put your mouse when you see mine or Look the tooltip on the right on the TOP :

12403  Economy / Speculation / Re: why bitcoin is dumped so hard? on: August 19, 2015, 07:07:55 AM

People in general and investors are afraid to lose their money so they are dumping while they can , I'am not sure what the twin brothers did though they have millions invested in BTC  Huh
That's probably nothing and I guess it will continue going down and down till January 11 when that fork happens . I myself im in panic but I'am trying to hold my self from doing stupid shit , I earned my BTc without any efforts so whatever happens happens I suppose there is nothing we could do about it .
Early adopters will definitly hold because they was present with old forks that happened etc .. and they know how the stuff works .

12405  Economy / Economics / Alright , Time to Dump or Time to Buy ? on: August 19, 2015, 06:53:23 AM
Alright guys ,
the situation right now is not the best situation we ever had to be honest , I bet that this is because of the BitcoinXt and investors are afraid on their money and why not they have all the right for that right ?. What do you guys think people should do right now dump and just save their selfs since they can ? or simply buy right now because it's not going anywhere lower then this .
12406  Economy / Digital goods / Anomaly Warzone Earth - Free Steam Keys #3 on: August 19, 2015, 06:49:36 AM

12407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin XT has code which downloads your IP address to facilitate blacklisting on: August 19, 2015, 06:31:16 AM
What the actual fuck , guys does this mean that Lightweight wallets like Electrum & Multibit will be affected aswell since those will be full running nodes on their servers , does it mean we will get affected too or it's only who is using BitcoinXT client directly
12408  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GAUGING INTEREST: Mass-Produced 3D Printed Physical Bitcoin on: August 19, 2015, 06:19:01 AM
I guess 20$ is little bit expensive , maybe 15$ ? If it's really beautiful and creative then people may pay whatever it takes to get it .

also I just found  you this link : https://grabcad.com/library/bitcoin-1 (you have register to get the file I assume) also look oat the right there is "simillar models" Smiley Good luck ! pls show us the result once you do it .
12409  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: GAUGING INTEREST: Mass-Produced 3D Printed Physical Bitcoin on: August 19, 2015, 05:51:43 AM
Would $20 be a good enough sale price?

Considering:

  • around $46 per spool of plastic
  • around 2 hours taken to print
  • specific environment to print

Well  , have you find a good design or you are going to use the one that I provided ? I was able to see how it looks like and it's pretty simple and dosen't contain anything at all . just a 3D model
12410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gavin, the NSA and XT... on: August 18, 2015, 08:51:47 PM
I don't see where is the problem here to be honest , if youthink NSA = XT and the BitcoinXT is just another open-source software program like Bitcoin Core ..; sooner or later we will know if there is backdoors or whatever so this aint a problem .
12411  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: August 18, 2015, 08:47:02 PM

3D printers should read STL format as far as I know , here you go this design : http://www.mediafire.com/download/cl9buxmn03iu787/bitcoin.stl  [Source : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=352556.0 ]
I'am not sure how it looks like but I guess you could try and give it a shoot , if you print it please share with us the results on the topic with a screenshot Grin

Alright I see , so it's not that high as I thought at the beggining Smiley Thank you for your help ! appreciate it
12415  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: About Virwox and skrill on: August 18, 2015, 02:38:02 PM
I have couple of more questions about Virwox , I got an answer last time saying that Ishould deposit using PayPal or Skrill  on Virwox so the counter of leveling UP will start working , who could confirm this ?
I also want to know about Skrill mostly on Virwox ,so this counter start to work and see how old your account is to level up ... what is the minimum deposit that you should do ?
Also do I need to have verified Skrill account ? or I can deposit even if it's not verified with Cc or bank account. ty
Yeah this is indeed the case, I can't confirm for Skrill, but with Paypal I'm leveling up steadily.

The account level is determined by the number of days since your first successful deposit using PayPal or Skrill
Here is the information you're looking for btw:

https://www.virwox.com/help.php#_Levels_and_Limits

Yes I read that article on their website the other day but it dosen't say how much the minimum so they start counting , I mean can you deposit only 1$ and it will start counting normally from that day and you will updgrade with time simply ?
12416  Other / Meta / Re: Forum governance? on: August 18, 2015, 02:02:00 PM
That's page is most likely updated as should be It's like 5,500 BTC in total .
Forums donations aren't for Theymos personally otherwise he would be a millionaire by now , 1.5 million (5,853 BTC now) is basically going to be for the new forum software to get developped , some others should be for moderators (I hope one can confirm) and for administrators but ti's not that much if we compare it to their hard work I believe .

for the Censorship then I believe it's normal , (I'am speaking about Bitcointalk) BitcoinXT is considered as Altcoin and it's getting moved to that section and there is no thread getting removed at least none of my threads got removed . just moved

Hello,

Could someone explain to me how the governance of this forum is handled?
Or, if this has been explained before in a complete manner, point me in the right direction?

Cheers

What do you mean exactly ? are we speaking about the BitcoinXT once again ?  Undecided
Forum is handled by Theymos & BadBear ( which are both administrators on the forums , forum was originally created by Sirius & Satoshi , and the moderators are are chosen by theymos and badbear asewell and they get recruited depends on how helpful they are basically (mostly the reported posts)
Funds of the forums are taken by Theymos but splitted to several people , check here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=155000.0

12420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which innovation in Bitcoin do you REALLY want? on: August 18, 2015, 10:24:39 AM
Bigger blocks. But without consensus, there is only XT. Same old problem. I would be okay with BIP 100 / 101 too...

I'm not totally against BIP 100, but I would prefer BIP 101. I think we all know I won't be switching to XT though.

Bigger blocks of course however they aint doing that without BitcoinXT and this shit is increasing here http://xtnodes.com/ in last week from 0 to 500 nodes (not even sure if they are legit numbers or just some automatic counter lol)

Relax, those nodes are probably all running from the same server box that was doing the transaction flooding attacks a few weeks back. I could run 500 XT nodes myself on my computer, as long as I didn't want to use it for anything else  Cheesy

What are you exactly telling me here ? Are you saying that Mike Hearn and Gavin are responsible for the attacks on the blockchain just to run their project ? Huh
Also how do they run several nodes from one PC , you need shitload of RAM and we would know since it's the same IP , no ?
