12421  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: July 12, 2016, 12:57:38 PM
Only on small transactions, like paying for a seedbox or donating to my favorite site  Roll Eyes
also im spending only to buy some small digital goods from time to time, in my opinion it is better to hold your bitcoins in order to benefit in the future and make some money
That is what we are doing here, those who holds in the future will be benefited so much, I just hope that I can earn and save more for the future, this is a good retirement to treat.
For me, I believe holding bitcoins in a longer period of time will give great benefits as it is expected to increase its value as it increases the volume of uses, I think that is very simple but we need to have guts to do it.
12422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 12, 2016, 12:53:02 PM
I was prepared my self so when Tim Duncan announced retirement I was upset but get over it. I thought he could play one more year because he didn't announce retirement right after season is over. He played 19 years in same franchise, why not make it two decades? I guess his body didn't let him. Arguably the greatest power forward in NBA history, enjoy your retirement.
He was not playing great the last season so he realize that he should retire, he is too fair unlike kobe bryant that needs to play to destroy the team, I wish him good luck.
Because we cannot be great all the time, you will come that you cannot play the usual way and you will become less effective because we are aging and our physical ability is affected, he is making the right decision and he deserves to be the hall of fame.
12423  Economy / Speculation / Re: how much gonna be 1 BTC in a year? on: July 12, 2016, 12:49:57 PM
The price is stable at $650 and do not increase or decrease, I think the price will remain at there for the whole year, and if some increase going to happened, which will definitely happen, then I think it will reach to $700
yeah, the price seems to be staying still right now and not showing any movement though i hope that it means that the price has a lot of potential to grow right now and 1 bitcoin in 1 year will be like 10 thousand dollars

I hope that the price of bitcoin of reach higher than $700 which is $1,000. We can't say what is going to happen with the price of bitcoin before the end of the year. But it is better if we are going to be positive with it so that positive outcome is going to happen because of it.
That price can happen within this year, if you believe in bitcoins we should be optimistic that it will even reach up to $10,000 so it that way we will not hesitate to save and invest.
12424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: July 12, 2016, 12:47:29 PM
If you want to stay away from gambling then try to get involve in some other activities of life, and try to get a good job so that you earn better from there, and for  entertainment try to adopt other sources.
Actually most of the gambling addicts has a job, the reason they gamble is because they are not satisfied with the amount they are earning and they are thinking gambling is the answer.
12425  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: July 12, 2016, 12:44:53 PM
bitcoin long after the bottom is established, like it is right now, 350(i think 380 is the new real bottom now) is the rock solid bottom going long above this is a guarantee of 100% profit

The best investment strategy that I can think of is that you should buy when the price is low and sell when the price is high.
This way you can make a profit buy selling them for more money then you actually bought them for.
No need to mention because that is too basic, although it is given that it is the best practice to earn profit in investing but in real practice we sometimes cannot do it properly.
12426  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: July 12, 2016, 05:15:19 AM
It depends on the country in which you live and the local currency. The cost of living in the region will make the difference.

for me it depends of your style of life too.
some people can life in america with simple style, and not all richman have style luxury and excessive.

in my country you can live just with $300 cost permonth
$300? Man what kind of life you are living? That is too small to spend within a month, we all want to live a comfortable life and with that amount you cannot spend for you leisure time anymore.
12427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 12, 2016, 03:29:32 AM
Why Waves price dropping fast?
I like it so I can buy cheap waves, surely will be back after a few days, waves is becoming stable and I believe it will rise up big. Glad the price still below ICO so I can take the opportunity to save and buy more.
12428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 12, 2016, 03:27:35 AM
Just noticed that the Lakers are winning big against Golden State in the summer league.

That's a sign they may recover in some years and go to the playoffs. See a team with so much tradition sucking so bad in NBA is kind of sad
Lakers will improve this season because Kobe has retired already, they can play at their best game as there is not VIP in the team, Clarkson will be the main man I guess.
12429  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 12, 2016, 03:20:51 AM
Both are good and both is good to use
Reason is simple btc will rise in future so investing in btc in long term is sure win

but you don't know when the price will rise..
if you sure price will rise and you sure you will win big profit, i suggest you to sell your home and invest your money at bitcoin, you can life by renting room/home, so if bitcoin price rising you can get double home Roll Eyes
#LOL
Nobody knows when the price will rise that is why we are just doing some speculation when investing or trading but one thing is sure the price will rice in the future.
12430  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: July 11, 2016, 08:29:48 AM
House should not be treated as an investment.
It always depends on how you treat it some treat it as investment because they can rent it or even make a business with their houses, but if you are buying house solely for your personal use you will bear all the expenses and it would become a liability.
12431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: July 11, 2016, 08:24:29 AM
Yeah, it is quite a problem, when people make themselves to forget that they can lose and remember only about winnings. That's why often people think that they are unbeatable and then gambling beats them. Everyone must not just know that they can win and lose, but also remember about that (especially about losses).
I think that is human nature when it comes to gambling, because we don't want to accept to ourselves that we are losing yet we tend to play more to win more, we still lose because we failed to track our record.
12432  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: July 11, 2016, 08:18:46 AM
I would hope that bitcoin will skyrocket in 20 years, and im really thinking that it is going to happen.
I think you need about 10 bitcoin to really be rich in 20 years, you will have very good retirement Wink

The bitcoin price will not skyrocket. It will rise between 50% to 200% a year in the next 30 years. So you need about 10 to 100 bitcoins.

I like optimistic predictions about Bitcoin and yours is also a realistic one so I like it even more. Indeed it is most likely that the rise rate will be between 50% to 200% a year. No skyrocketing, but enough to be called good.
50% above is a good rate in a year, you cannot get that rate investing in a bank. I know it could happen and has happen already but we can see more if we prefer to hold more.

12434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 11, 2016, 08:13:14 AM
Gambling could be risky even for rich people, because may be he will make big bets and lose big sums , so i don't think it's a effective solution.
I know rich are not stupid, they have achieve that level so they should be wise already. Gambling is just for fun for them and they can risk and even lose money that we cannot afford to lose.
Although rich people may be rich ones most likely because they have no money for serious losses in gambling (and gambling is just fun). On the same principle, poor people are poor ones because they can afford big (for them) monies to lose in gambling (and gambling is an impossible job here of becoming rich).
I guess we are talking here about a person getting rich due to gambling, what we are talking is were the rich people still do gambling? The answer should me yes for me because gambling is wonderful and we can experience good time, just focus on the fun.
12435  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 11, 2016, 08:02:48 AM
I already have. I'm working for a bitcoin company called www.blocktrail.com it's great!
I was able to click the link you have provided, sounds like an interesting company, but could you give us more information on how much will be our potential earning working in that site?
12436  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: July 11, 2016, 04:41:41 AM
WHy not?? Obviously you should buy a house with your bitcoin holding if you can. House is a tangible asset and you must invest in it. Most real estate investment give good return in long term.

If you already has another house, you can give it out on rent, which will ensure a monthly income to your family. Go for it man!
For me since I already have a house and I am comfortable living with it maybe I would just buy a lot and I will develop it to transform into a subdivision to lease or rent it for me to receive a consistent income.

Yes that's a good idea that you are going to generate income out of your house. And it is really a good investment if you are going to use your bitcoins by buying an house.
And it is really recommended that if you have a lot of btc's then go buy your own house.
I would be the luckiest person on earth if I could buy a house with my bitcoins earning here, it would really be awesome as I have never imagine that in my life before I discover bitcoins.
hmm,i feel the same here actually.
I have my own company, plus i have my second source of income (investing btc, trading btc,sig campaining ) but
i still think it would be very hard for me to buy a house with the money i make .

Yeah, we need many bitcoins to invest on a house. It will takes much time to get many bitcoins, but if i have many bitcoins i will invest it on a house.
That is a good move if you find a house as investment because you will earn from your house, it could be you will rent it for income otherwise you need to maintain a good house with big expenses.
12437  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 11, 2016, 04:37:35 AM
If you are into risks, and want to potentially earn money, investing money is the better choice. Saving money is for those that are fine with not taking the risk to earn or lose money.
It's both important actually, you can only invest when you have a savings as like you said that investment is very risky so we only need to put an amount that would not affect our financial status if it failed.
12438  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 11, 2016, 04:35:00 AM
the main problem of focus at bitcoin is "what you can do to produce, earning, and growing bitcoin? how about the risk?"
we know people in "real job" have risk too in each job but not much as "bitcoin job". you can use trading, mining, fauceting etc. as your job but im not sure for long term that's still good.

for short time  bitcoin is good , but for long time i doubt it.
Yes, BTC is currently too volatile in order to be good long term, if you were trading it.
I would go for long time because the real value of bitcoins will be good in the future, so if you are quitting your job long term investment is not for your as day trading would only work to get consistent profit.
12439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 11, 2016, 04:29:53 AM
Bucks Big Balls Lineup Compared to GS Warriors Death Line-up
The warriors are known for their small ball lineup

In the future the Bucks will be known for their ''Big Balls'' Line-Up.

PG:Giannis 6'10
SG:Khris Middleton 6'8
SF:Jabari Parker 6'8
PF:John Henson 6'11
C:Thon Maker 7'1

What do u do vs all of that length??

You watch them not be able to shoot behind the arc. That is not particular a great 3 point shooting lineup there. And
Thon jabari and giannis are still developing and maybe will all have decent 3pt shooting in due time..

It's obvious that some of listed above are not specialist in the rainbow arc. There lineup is unusual in the NBA if that will happen. PG at 6'10 is really not common in the league. How much more if that PG will improved it's aggresiveness and at the same time those remaining rosters will developed a fast phase game. That will be a deadly one.
yes if that will be handled by a great coach who knows how to attack and deliver the players to improve more make some changes
on how they look up playing basketball the team will generate unstoppable line up. big players like lebron who knows how to play the
ball perfectly. good luck bucks looking forward for this franchise future.
I doubt with kind of line up, it will not survive with small line up with shooters on the floor, the warriors will surely kill them hard. Today's trend is small ball games so I think that is not a good move.
12440  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: July 10, 2016, 01:14:03 PM
That's a good tips list. The best one I like is number 8 watching your savings grow, because that is how you can save more. If you have optimized your savings, it will only grow.

But no. 8 is not an advice nor a saving tips. It's a common thing yourself will automatically do once you achieved and properly do all your savings goals carefully.

That's the best part of saving the money, watching it fully grows. Smiley
Yeah i also think what for we watch we savings funds if you has know how much we have save in the banks at least with saving your money will not grow a lot.
I think if you save a lot of money in the bank you can see your deposit money will grow very nice but if you only have a little money I think the growth of your money will be lost or devoured by the bank administration fees every month. I almost forgot if Coinbase also has a system of interest?

I would even say you need really a lot,in my country you wont make a deposit to get some % more of every year,
if you wont have about 1-3 btc in fiat,so that is not fine for me to invest there, and the growth is very very slow.
The best way to invest or deposit in a bank is to avail there timely deposit savings but I still don't buy that method because I have a great income investing or saving here in bitcoins that the bank offers.
