12441  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 06, 2016, 01:55:09 AM
always gold over bitcoin because it is a better investment

It depends, if you are holding gold then for sure gold is much better than bitcoin for you.
But for those people who are holding bitcoin of course we are going to say bitcoin is better.
All are better but the only problem we cannot do both investment is due to our financial condition, majority does not have the money to invest with gold so they prefer to invest only with bitcoin.
12442  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: July 06, 2016, 01:52:23 AM
i never spend bitcoins i only trade them or invest into the bitcoin and that is because it is not very necessery to spent your bitcoins the only thing you have to do is do something
with your coins otherwise prise wont rise and that would be very sad for every bticoin user.

As long as we use our bitcoin, the price will rise. The only problem is the user experience, which was quite bad for me recently due to the slow confirmation.
of course the price will be rising, in my opinion bitcoin has a lot of potential to grow right now because people will buy a lot of it during the block reward halving that will happen soon

That is for sure and it is really going to happen as the halving is going to happen. It is better if you are going to save a lot of bitcoins and just stop actively spending it or just limit the spend of yours.
Because it is going to give you good returns out of it.
Saving is really important but it is also important that you will only save the amount you can afford to lose as we are saving Bitcoin and it is very risky as we never know the future, we base our judgement only base on our speculation.
12443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 06, 2016, 01:05:05 AM
yes if you want a lot of money. and you want to earn money fast. then invest in the casino games is the most appropriate choice.
though i doubt that it will either give you a lot of money or fast money, it is really risky to invest into such things in my opinion and it should be avoided in order to avoid losses
No, actually it has 50 - 50 chance to make a profit in Investing on casinos. So before investing in any casino sites, you should study well about their site performance and service. Or else you may get lose here. If your invested site gets close means, that's it all investment will be gone.
Well, if you consider that sites will be close taking your investment then that would be a different story, in calculating your profit you should not consider the closure of sites just calculate your chances of winning over the gamblers so probably it should not be 50/50.
12444  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 06, 2016, 12:58:27 AM
Bitcoin is good as an additional income and I don't see any valid reason to quit my job and get full time into bitcoins, as bitcoin is extra to me and it will be always extra to me.

Many are thinking if they are getting good income from bitcoin rather than their full time day job. Probably they are going to say that bitcoin is giving them better income that their day job.
But I say it is better to have day job rather than being full time with bitcoin.
That is because you are playing safe and with your day job you are easily contented with the promises of security, and to be honest I love my day job also as I can meet friend along the way, chat with them that would improve my social life but I just don't see that it could give me more money when I retired.
12445  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: July 06, 2016, 12:53:11 AM
Bitcoin has been rising up this past few weeks and continue to rise, what do you think?
will bitcoin continue to rise at the end of the month or it will have a sudden drop?

I think it will go up more and will go down a little then it will stabilize. It will no longer go down more than the current price. As per record on bitcoin historical maket value once it settled its price it will mo longer have a major drop down. What is expected is it will increase a little bit but it will not go down. So its best to keep bitcoin in my wallet just in case.
That's the point, we need to hold our bitcoins now because the price is just telling that the likelihood of fall back is low, in addition the halving just help the price to go up.
12446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 05, 2016, 06:22:09 AM
Now Warriors only need a center and a bench center as well, since I would love that they will construct their defense as well. Then we can predict that Warriors will be unstoppable in the next set of seasons.
They can easily acquire a center, durant is a good rebounder as well so they don't really need that much. I think durant can easily adjust with the system of the warriors.
12447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 05, 2016, 06:12:54 AM
I have $3000 USD to invest, is it worth it?

What sort of returns should I expect
i was looking for investing in BTC casinos,it is looking great but... i dont like it anyway,in most sites you need to invest minimum 1 btc or a little less.
Anyway if the house edge is implemented you should always get profit at long term... unless casino is a scam

Investing on bitvest.io only requires 0.01btc as what I've read so having 3000USD is sure a lot.
you can be a casino partner if you can submit a proposal to them. but that  is if they are open to partnership.
Where is more profitable than investing with moneypot.com? I heard some gamblers here recommend to invest in moneypot because that site is profitable, really don't know, anyone has the experience here?
there's a lot of bitcoin casino offering investment but I think if you are only small investors profits is not that much and the risk of losing is too big because if there's a big winner the percentage of losing is big too I might prefer doing trading instead of risking my money with small income I returned.
I also think so but with trading you are also like gambling because you might lose in the end. However, with online gambling sites even if you have only little returns on your investment you can make it consistently.
12448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: July 05, 2016, 06:08:13 AM
How to stay away from gambling that is a good question the best thing you could odo is putting your name on to the blacklist of every casino in your area so you make
sure you cant go inside anymore for atleast the next 5-10 years. Also make sure internet is not alluding gambling at home.

That is a great idea or plan you had too at least stop you from gambling I think it will not If you are really addicted to it then I think you will keep on thinking and search for the urge when you play gambling, but if you are not addicted to it you can always say no to a casino or an offer to play in it, and I think casino's will not banned someone because they wanted to quit gambling, because casino really wants to make you addicted to them for their benefits.
Of course, casino are into business and their main interest only is profit, they don't care if they already ruin the life of the many because they are greedy too, when you are gambler and your are greedy you can beat a casino which is much greedy than you.
12449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 05, 2016, 06:04:56 AM
If I were rich, I would still gamble for fun as I do it now. Maybe because I would be rich not because of gambling, but of other stuff (some investments as an example). IMO, I don't think that generally anyone can get rich of gambling.
You are 100% sir, there is no way to get rich from this goddamn gambling
I was close to this actually but I became too greedy and that was the reason i lost all...
If you want to gamble just get big money in there and big bets, thats all guyz
everyone has their own opinion. like gambling and some are hated gambling. it is reasonable . gambling is not a game for me to get rich. gambling just a hobby. like some of the messages that you do not spend your money for a hobby.
Yeah people have opinion, but we back, How we to control for gambling. Must people want gambling it's for get rich, But this like be not good idea.
so all back to your-self how to responded it. Gambling it's for fun  Smiley
If you are rich then that would only be your interest, you gamble for fun and nothing less. Actually rich are very busy and they are busy thinking on how to spend their money, they have the time and money so they can gamble anytime.
12450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to sell? Or to buy? on: July 05, 2016, 05:56:22 AM
This is the right time to hold tight.
I mean halving is at the door.
It is better to hold now because it will only take a little time to find out if we made the right decision or not. Regardless of the result we live what we believe.
12451  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: July 05, 2016, 05:45:01 AM
I have a good day job and i will not quit it for bitcoins. I will do bitcoin job as a part time.

Yes, me either I will not going to leave my bitcoin part time job and as well as my full time daily job. And it is always been better if you have multiple source of income.
You just need to properly manage your time daily.
That would be good for a person who is hardworking because he can make extra money but for ambitious once, he should focus on things that he likes to do that would bring him more wealth when focus and that would not be the job in most cases, it should be investing.
12452  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: July 05, 2016, 05:41:57 AM
The price of bitcoin from today once again start to rise, I think the halving has started to show its effects, I hope that it reach to $1000 sooner.

I hope also that the price is going to be at $1,000 for sure it is really going to be continuous rise for bitcoin.
And people are going to see the potential of it.
For sure, many investors and as well as people who are still doubting it will going to use it.
That amount could be possible to hit by the end of the year, if you consider taking the risk you can invest a good amount that you feel you can afford to lose to make yourself earn even in a short period of time.

And yes hopefully it will happen soon by the end of the year. It is one of the effect that bitcoin is really continuous rising and on its way to the top.
Investors will really going to appreciate if that happens before the end of the year.
No doubt, every investor would like the price to increase especially when they are holding their coins in the long term, but for those people who do day trading big fluctuations of price would serve their interest.

That's for sure, because it is going to be a good profit from them once the price is going to pump up and it keeps on rising.
Then they are having a good opportunity out of it.
And sell their coins in high price.
Lucky are those investors who have put a lot of money with the current price now because even if with a little growth after the halving they can easily cash out in a short period of time.
12453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: July 05, 2016, 05:36:31 AM
Coming from the Philippines, "gambling" is our culture.  We gamble from anything under the sun.  Sports, cards, dice, horse race, spider fight, endings and even random numbers generated by a calculator.  We have a saying here that if you hate someone, teach him horse racing and he'll be addicted for life.

Why people gamble?  Maybe they want to have more money easily shout they hit a jackpot.

Why people never stop from gambling? For one is they want to regain everything they lost.  A tall order at that.
Mostly the reason are on the last stated, we love to gamble because we want to regain everything we lost and it could be the reason why we are having a problem as we never gonna win chasing our losses.
12454  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: July 05, 2016, 05:27:27 AM
getting rich is not easy it requires great level of dedication and hard work, you need to double your efforts and try to think different which no one else is capable of.
yeah of course you have to be rich to have a strong mentality, work hard and not easily discouraged,
but the problem most people have is they do not find the right job for them so that they feel lazy to work. yeah i know that feeling ?

If you get a good job, it can make you rich.
It always depends on the satisfaction of a certain person, even though we felt that he is rich already due to his accomplishment in life but if he is not contented he will strive for more but I know for sure that being an employee or worker will not make you rich.
12455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: July 05, 2016, 02:31:07 AM
Do we have news regarding Waves being listed on Poloniex? (Sorry if it has been answered before)
No. Please fill form and make request https://poloniex.com/coinRequest

Does this work for sure? Did anyone had luck with these in the past?

I am pretty sure Poloniex are aware of waves.

because poloniex dont support waves.. i had to trouble myself sent bitcoin to bittrex to buy cheap Waves..  Grin
What is the problem with that? I think it would be easy to send bitcoin to your bittrex wallet, I have done that many times and was able to buy cheap waves.
12456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 05, 2016, 02:25:01 AM
Good to see durant playing in the warriors, I feel they can be unbeatable in the next season. The real question would be, who would be the MVP then because I know durant does not want to be in the supporting cast, he should be the main man in the team.
12457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: July 05, 2016, 02:20:26 AM
Gambling addiction can occur when a person feels that they are in financial ruin and can only solve their problems by gambling what little they have in an attempt to get a large sum of money. Unfortunately, this almost always leads to a cycle in which the gambler feels they must win back their losses, and the cycle goes on until the person is forced to seek rehabilitation to break their habit.
Actually it would be easy to solve the gambling problem of every gambler, they need to stop to solve it and they can only do that when they don't have the money to gamble, just let them gamble and make them learn from their mistakes.
12458  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 05, 2016, 02:15:44 AM
I'm gonna go for the bitcoin and this is simply because I really like the bitcoin and I do not have the patient for the gold itself.
Its just that gold is taking too much time to make good profit its only good on a long term.

It is very difficult to spend gold to buy things directly. I have used bitcoin to buy some goods. It is quite easy.
That is because gold is only for long term investment and it has its only one purpose while bitcoins you can use it in different ways, you can use it as a payment method and investment as well.

Hi! OP what seems to be the problem? I have not received my payment for the week. I posted yesterday before the payment that my name was included in the list who removed their signatures but in reality I don't remove it.

Kindly review this because when I monitor last night, I saw my name again in the list of participants to be paid so I was expecting in the morning (Philippine time) that I will be receiving my payment but to my surprise it's back the list of removed signatures.

Please, can you help me sort this problem of mine.
I hope your problem will be solve the soonest possible time, it is really hard to accept sometimes when you are expecting to received your money but then you wake up something goes bad. The admin is good so he can sort it out easy.
12460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: July 05, 2016, 02:01:52 AM
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

Well if you ask me V-cash is one of the undervalue alt coin atm, they have active DEV that is really good on coding,  have advance feature but i think you have to see it yourself.  There are also other under value coins but don't fell for coins  that are overpump or over hyped.  If you want it as an investment and get rewards later, better look for undervalue coins with great developer working on it.
Honestly its not a good altcoin to choose if you really want to make a profit safety many way to choose the best altcoin..
Coinmarketcap one of the website that you can saw all altcoin and crypto currency the top 10 or top 20 can be sure that you can make a profit with safety. . this is just my tips but i am making a profit weekly but it can help that you will always relay in coinmarketcap..
Can you share some more of your tactics?
My strategy is I would only invest on altcoins when I see a lot of investors are trusting it, in that sense a particular coins would not easily die and the devs would make a lot of improvement due to the big amount they generated during ICO. I am referring to the big 3, waves, lisk, and The DAO.
