12461  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: August 15, 2015, 01:04:55 PM
It's pretty simple to do i guess , buy A Hero member account with high quality posting , enroll on a signature compaign that pays 0.0012 BTC or more per post, try to be helpful on the community and make open discussions if you make like 100 posts you will be making like 0.12 BTC per week and on two-three months you will get the money back (invested on hero member) + profit that you are looking for.
12462  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: August 15, 2015, 11:49:26 AM
and how you can increase your activity in your profile?

by posting of course , you will get a maximum of 14 activity each two weeks
check this topic right here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=582736.0 It will tell you when the activity reset happens .

however and as I stated above you should be posting , If you have 14 posts and 14 activity , and even if the reset activity happens your activity won't rise unless you have posts .

Here is a list to know to understand more how it works and when you upgrade to other rank :
Code:
1 X 14 = 14

12463  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [EDU]How to protect your wallet on: August 15, 2015, 11:40:30 AM
Keyscramblers does not protect against keylogging hardware so its not an option if people have access to your computer. Majority of the virus does not get detected and most antivirus would be useless here. The best way is to not download any suspicious files or go to any suspicious website. A RAT can easily automatically send your money when you unlock your wallet. As most unconfirmed transactions are irreversible, it would be quite dangerous.

What do you mean with "Keyscramblers does not protect against keylogging hardware"? You mean keyscrambler is useless or that it can't help when someone is using a hardware keylogger?

Would keyscrambler at least be secure against software attacks?

By the way... entering passwords with something like that is one thing. But using keepass? I mean you oft enough would have to copy the password in your clipboard. Or when you want to type you would need to type the pass for keepass anyway, then show the pass.

I wonder if there can be done much anyway.

I just emailed their support team and I will post once I get a reply about those things . I read an interview between Qiran ( their CEO)and TechRepublic blog and on that time protection against Keylogging wasen't available so I'am not sure about now .

for what comes to KeePass , it's listed here : https://www.qfxsoftware.com/applications.htm so I assume it should be protected as should be
12464  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BIT-X.com | Bitcoin Debit Card | No Monthly Fees! on: August 15, 2015, 09:26:49 AM
I need some help here Marco or bit-x.com ...
How come that I have x amount on my bit-x.com wallet and on the blockchain it's not show the same amount ?

Bit-X like some other exchanges uses shared addresses (Bit-X keeps track of all finances internally). This means that your deposit address may be used by funds that are moving around temporarily.

The accurate number will always be the one in your balance once logged in!

Didn't knew since I Bit-x.com is the only exchange that I've used honestly so I will that in mind , thanks for the fast reply !
12465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / QFX Softwares Accepting Bitcoin soon ! on: August 15, 2015, 09:23:45 AM
As some of you may know that I'am contacting some companies around (Gaming ,softwares etc ... ) and try to convince them to use Bitcoin as payment method (even if I should get signature using Change.org)

I emailed QFX Softwares Corporation (KeyScrambler is one of their best and most used products on the world for Anti-Keylogging that most of you may know)

I decided to contact them specially after I saw that they are supporting most of the Bitcoin wallets as you can see here (see [EDU]How to protect your wallet :

And here is their positive answer , I'd advice you to check their product out if you didn't, at least this is how we show our appreciation I guess Smiley

I need some help here Marco or bit-x.com ...
How come that I have x amount on my bit-x.com wallet and on the blockchain it's not show the same amount ?

EDIT : Ignore the part below , where are our coins for real Shocked I withraw without issues but I still see the money on the Blockchain on my Bit-x adress wth ?

and now when I made withrawal request It says that it's confirmed but nothing really happened (nothing received) . Shouldn't they be automatic since you said only 0.5 BTC or above transaction are made manually
12467  Economy / Web Wallets / Blockchain.info Database ? on: August 15, 2015, 08:28:28 AM
I know that online wallets aren't safe and they are hackable and stuff etc .. and I myself recommend people not to use them usually .
but when I created the account it says that they have no copie of our passwords and on this page : https://blockchain.info/wallet/new It says that "WARNING: Forgotten passwords are UNRECOVERABLE and will results in LOSS of ALL of your bitcoins!" then they have
"We require a password of at least 10 characters in length to ensure that even if our database is compromised your wallet will remain secure."

So I'am not sure if I'am missin something here but how come it's impossible to recover and they don't have copie of our passwords and on the same time ... their database can be compromised  Huh

Unless they have only copie of hashed and encrypted passwords on their database ? Shocked

All those questions is because I have some 0.xx bitcoins on my Blockchain wallet and I printed them but it wouldn't make a lot of sense to make paper wallet if it's gonna get hacked online , right ?

TL;DR Basically I want to know how blockchain.info accounts can get hacked to make sure I will be safe 100% (how they are encrypted , stored etc .)
12468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can't Paste Bitcoin Addresses on: August 15, 2015, 07:43:59 AM
It's definitly a virus that you have there , it basically works like this : you copy adress to send to your friend for example , it changes it to the adress of the virus owner so you send it to him instead of your friend or whoever you was going to send it to .
I'd recommend you to wipe your PC right now and check this out my topic here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1152619.0
12469  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Need Help! on: August 14, 2015, 06:36:27 PM
I built a "read only" wallet by mistake. On this wallet are some bitcoins. How can I get it back? Huh

That's the purpose of watch only wallets mate , you can't spend your bitcoins , it's just to check them on adress regulary if they are on Paper wallet for example.
If you have private keys of your wallet then you could import them to different wallets . (e.g blockchain.info/
12470  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [EDU]How to protect your wallet on: August 14, 2015, 06:31:12 PM
Yes thank you for all the support guys .
I will try to update this topic as soon as possible so no worries I will keep adding a lot of things daily and I'am still to open to suggestions (ty litecoinguy & shorena)
12471  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get started in stocks on: August 14, 2015, 04:32:26 PM
I've been looking to get into stocks for a few months now,I finally got enough money to spare to actually start. But I actually don't know where to start, can anyone tell me where/how to start?

I don't know from what country you are but there is this website called eToro is an epic website and you could even copy people on their profiles so you do what they do without any efforts and you keep earning , of course you should find someone that do actuall have history on the website and keep making a lot of profit . check it out (note that it's restricted on some countries like mine , sadly)
12472  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-08-14] uTorrent Removes Hidden Bitcoin Miner on: August 14, 2015, 03:56:57 PM
BitTorrent, Inc., the company behind the original BitTorrent client and uTorrent, has removed their hidden Bitcoin miner in the latest version of uTorrent. The update, version 3.4.3, was released on April 8th, exactly one month after the initial statement was released on the uTorrent blog.

http://www.coinbuzz.com/2015/04/15/utorrent-removes-hidden-bitcoin-miner/

It's old and it's not like it does matter anyway , no ?
They have shitload (millions) of users around the world so I'am pretty sure they already did some decent amount of money already .
12473  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] UAE phone number on: August 14, 2015, 03:27:44 PM
Hello,
I want to buy UAE phone number.
Who can provide me a permanent UAE phone number??

Its a low chance that you will find arabs on the forums (there is but small amounts)
I was searching and found this for you : https://www.onesimcard.com/cell-phone-rates/united-arab-emirates/ I hope it helps (website should be legit but search more about it )
12474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Sync Issue and Reindex Help on: August 14, 2015, 03:20:16 PM
Yes, I did mean Windows 7. Thanks. Do you recommend -rescan? or -reindex?

I had this crappy issue but I never used it to get anything fixed , I just wait shitload of time and it finally gets sync or reindexed alone.
But I don't get it ... Is it Sync or reindexing with disk ? If it's Synchronizing with network then there is nothing you could do I guess because it's downloading the Blockchain right now .
and check here , you most likely need to run both commands : http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/22199/what-exactly-did-bitcoin-qt-rescan-reindex-do (check both question and answers )
12475  Economy / Services / Re: People Per Bitcoin - Buy & Sell Freelance Services on: August 14, 2015, 01:05:44 PM
It's nice to see at least one website on Freelance business related to bitcoin because there isn't, at least nothing serious or known or used by a lot of people. Very good design to be honest I really like it and like the idea aswell
Speaking about promotion and advertising ,are you planning to do signature compaigns or you will publish your ads like Adsense ?
12476  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [EDU]How to protect your wallet on: August 14, 2015, 12:01:02 PM
well i doubt microsoft will ever steal your wallet, so your bitcoin are safe anyway with windows 10, i could be wrong but weren't the old windows version running something similar inside the kernel, hard coded?
because i doubt that they were 100% anti-privacy free, maybe only the first version like windows 3.1, 95 and 98, and perhaps xp, also i remember that in the cpu, intel installed something that can send them info

I know that but you can't know if your private keys gets on the wrong hands also having our privacy is our right and this tutorial isn't only for Windows 10 as you can see the first two softwares all for all users (even for those who use Windows 10)
12477  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Mobile Website With 150000 Unique Visitors on: August 14, 2015, 10:33:53 AM

12478  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Virwox Leveling system ? on: August 14, 2015, 08:04:23 AM
Does anyone of you here knows how Virwox leveling system works because I can't find anything about it on their website to be honest .
when I say how does it work I mean how much you need to deposit/or withraw to get leveled up to the next level , thank you
need to know this ASAP , I appreciate any fast answer .

It should be on this page
https://www.virwox.com/help.php

Levels and Limits
The account level is determined by the number of days since your first successful deposit using PayPal or Skrill

So only thing needed is days ? you don't need to deposit anything according to this screenshot
EDIT : Nevermind , noticed that you edited your post . thanks Smiley
12479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you are living just with Bitcoin? on: August 14, 2015, 07:27:48 AM
I'am not personally , we don't even have any single local shop that use bitcoin . I'am only 18 years old so I'am not working yet can't speak about income from job or something .
now for what comes to the Credit cards part that you are speaking about , MasterCard is totally against Bitcoin so sooner or later I assume that those cards won't be functional anymore and if you ask me they defeat the purpose of bitcoin .; I mean you are using them for being annonymus and low fees right ? well they are not giving that .
12480  Other / Beginners & Help / [EDU] Bitcoin Beginners Guide on: August 14, 2015, 07:18:07 AM
I'am not an expert on those stuff to be honest but I will share with beginners and newbies around the forum what I know about this matter and anyone who have any suggestion that I should add to this topic have to let me know and I will do it .

I will try to keep this thread updated as I can and add always new stuff .

Things you should consider doing to start :

  • Most , if not all websites related to Bitcoin are known here on the Bitcointalk community , if you are going to use a website (new for you) then make sure to search for it on Bitcointalk before doing anything .
  • Don't use any of the websites listed here :  [EDU] Bitcoin-related Scam Websites  .
  • Never store your Bitcoins on an exchange for a long time , once you do the exchange withraw to your real wallet .
  • If you are planning to use online Web or Smartphones wallet then you should use BlockTrail.com instead of Blockchain wallet because It's more secure [Two-Factor authentification , HD & it's Multi signature] .
  • If you are planning to use Desktop wallet for your PC then Electrum should be the best choice for you because you will have 13 words seed which can be used to recover your wallet incase of a computer failure . (print it and keep it safe)
  • Always make sure to use Two-Factor Authentication in your wallets [Both Electrum & BlockTrail.com wallets support that]
How to Protect your wallet :

Softwares needed :

Use one of the following programs (choose between 1 and 2) :

1.Malwarebytes Anti-Malware : Malwarebytes - Download Link
Most of you know Malwarebytes and how good this software is it , in case you are visiting a phishing/malicious website this software will most likely block it , same goes for any executables .

2.Hitman Pro : HitmanPro - Download link
Same goes HitmanPro it's another famous anti malware that people use however it have somethings that may makes you feel uncomfortable like scan only using the internet so if you don't have internet you may not be able to scan .

KeyScrambler : KeyScrambler - Download Link

KeyScrambler encrypts every key you type deep in the Windows kernel. It protects your private info against known and unknown keylogging malware on millions of websites and in hundreds of essential apps.
If you are afraid that you have Keylogger on your PC then this is definitly for you , note that this software support a lot of application including Bitcoin wallets  & check this KeyScrambler - Different versions

BitDefender : BitDefender [Total Security] - Download Link

BitDefender is considered as one of the best Anti-virus around and also won few awards in the last few years ! Yes more security always helps even while you are using KeyScrambler and Malwarebytes on the same time .
Key : BHKIYB3  [I found this key on the internet and it worked just fine for me , it gives you more then 1 Year subscription]

Windows 10 Users :

Updated : 4 October 2015 (Whoever downloaded the tool before that , should redownload it once again)

We all know how our privacy got screwed on this version of Windows 10 . Yes Microsoft do have a keylogger on your PC and I'am not sure how sophisticated is it and since it's on the Operating it self I'am not sure about the power of KeyScrambler on this matter .

As you can see on the picture above , this software allow you to disable all tracking made by Microsoft on Windows 10 .
HowTo & Source code : DisableWinTracking

DisableWinTracking is not made by a company or anything it's made by an individual and since I don't know Python I'am not sure how safe is it but since it's open source I'am sure that people can check it and see how legit it is .

I guess that's it , as I said on the top of the topic I'am not an expert and english is not my native language so I'am trying ... Grin
Feel free to post any suggestions that should be added .

for what comes to KeyScrambler some of you will say that we need Premium version to get full support for Bitcoin wallets . Well, Indeed you have to to buy a licence
I got an email and code from a friend and I'am using the Premium just fine and I guess you can use it more then once and on more then one PC but since some of your countries don't allow that etc ... idk  Huh
