12481  Economy / Speculation / Re: 44% of the network already switched to 8M blocks on: August 11, 2015, 08:04:20 PM
Well you aren't answering my main question which is Lightweight wallets , what is going to happen to those and why should I switch fast . I'am not using Bitcoin Core anymore anyway and the big question will I lose my BTC ?  Bitcoin XT bitcoins = Bitcoin Core bitcoins or not ?
12482  Economy / Speculation / Re: 44% of the network already switched to 8M blocks on: August 11, 2015, 07:45:00 PM
Could anyone here take couple of minuts from his time to explain to me what is going on .
Bitcoin XT coins & Bitcoin Core coins aren't the same or something ? and why the value of BTc will change simply because of this  Huh RIP ? I asked once what is Bitcoin XT but they only said it's something for Peer to Peer protocol improvment and double spent crap
also what would happen for people who use Blockchain.info wallet or Lightweight wallets it's so freaking confusing . don't get anything

BitcoinXT is a fork of the BitcoinQT codebase but is mean to support blocks bigger than 1 mb. If such a block is mined, this block will be invalid on the BitcoinQT Blockchain(If the codebase stays the same) but valid on the XT blockchain. That means we would have to parallel blockchains at the same time. Depending what version the majority of the users and miners is using, the corresponding blockchain will survive and the inferior blockchain will be dumped to zero.

Why I look like the only one worried here , looks like a disaster to me to be honest . I aint an early adopter but I'am really attached to bitcoin
Also are they same coins ? could be send coins of Bitcoin Core to this XT later and use them without any issues ? or from any Lightweight wallet to this XT shit ? damn it.. confused here
If yes .. then why in the world the value will be halved as OP said

12485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How the online sellers are dealing with bad buyers? on: August 11, 2015, 12:53:51 PM
I am interested in this industry and I would like to ask you how do you cope with bad buyers? I know that the vast majority of you have experience with those kind of people.

What the definition of "bad buyers" for you exactly , I thought there is only bad sellers
Buyer have only to pay so I'am not sure what could goes wrong , people should just make sure to use an Escrow (if we are speaking about bitcointalk here , otherwise give more info and I will be glad to help)
12486  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client on: August 11, 2015, 12:44:11 PM
Wait , what Shocked
I'am speaking about the seed only , in case I don't take backup files at all . it should still work right ? (same question for Multibit HD if you could answer) because it asks to take backup and I'am not sure what the seed is for if you have to take backup of files
12487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Urgent need of Bitcoin need help... on: August 11, 2015, 10:12:40 AM
I am in urgent need of atleast 1 bitcoin as soon as possible so therefore need a way to earn fast...
Therefore need help. Please suggest a way...

Fastest way would be to buy them using any other payment method like PayPal , Credit cards , Payza etc ...
Slower method would be to enroll in signature methods , you are low rank so that won't help much , what you need to do is buy Hero member account (if you can 0.4 - 0.6 BTC) and enroll into signature compaign that pays well . you should get that amount pretty fast but depends on your posts quality and quantity .
There is nothing to do other then that , and of course I don't recommend gambling because you will most likely get greedy and lose all .
12488  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client on: August 11, 2015, 10:07:39 AM
Hi , I have a quick question here .
How to upgrade from a version to another new version (of Electrum) ? I simply install the other or I should unistall the old one , also does the seed works on different wallets , I mean a seed of 2.3 version should work fine on the 2.4 version ?
12489  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BIT-X.com | Bitcoin Debit Card | No Monthly Fees! on: August 11, 2015, 09:40:27 AM

12491  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are Casascius coins and why they worth so much ? on: August 11, 2015, 07:37:08 AM
As the title says , I see a lot of people selling them on the Goods section however I don't understand why they are so valuable , it's simply a coin made of what ? real gold ?
I even saw someone selling it for 14.999$ on Ebay Shocked also where is the source of those things

casascius coined the firsts physical bitcoin , there are different types, from aluminum to gold.
More than a material value have a historical value ...
these coins are a milestone....

That's it ? It's a waste of money If you ask me
But how to use them exactly , I mean how to spend them Shocked you can't ? If you want to spend them you just sell them as their value of gold ? also is the value of gold on them = of the BTC ? sort of confusing .

coins have a private key under the hologram on the back, if you want to spend the bitcoins in the wallet you have to remove the hologram and import the private key.
So if u want to sell them or buy you have to consider the value of the coin itself + the amount of btc loaded.
It's like a physical wallet....I hope I was helpful Smiley

Oh I see it make sense then Grin
But what makes people think that the company that created those Physical coins don't have copy of those private keys anywhere ?

12495  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Banned bitcoin on: August 11, 2015, 06:06:31 AM
If they manage to ban it in one country  (which they won't ), they won't be able to ban it another country . all countries can't agree to do same thing beside there is already shitload of business into Bitcoin that costs million of dollars right now , they can't just step up and ban whatever and whenever they want to

12497  Other / Meta / Re: Forum notification on post quote on: August 10, 2015, 06:35:02 PM
Hey, is there a way to be notified when someone quote and reply on your message?
I look on the profile panel and notification panel, but I don't see anything about quote messages.

thanks in advance

There isn't mate , if someone reply on a thread you posted then you will find it when you click "Show new replies to your posts" other then that there isn't anything else .
But the new forum software (no body knows when gonna be released) should contain more features like notification system (not sure how it would work though , I know when you mention a person u will get a notification)
12498  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Encrypting Electrum Seed on: August 10, 2015, 01:52:58 PM
That's an idea that could work indeed .
You just gave me the idea to build simply a custom software to encrypt my Electrum seeds , making something Custom and hard to decrypt is better then use something public even if it's strong hacker will know from where to start unlike custom encryption it could make you earn sometime .

12500  Economy / Speculation / Re: Maximum price bitcoin 2015 on: August 10, 2015, 11:26:37 AM
I'am not sure how some people are saying 400$ and stuff because as I see it now it's too low and it's going down lately (264.0$ right now) so before the end o the year it won't go anywhere above 300$ (best it can do).
We can judge by the future of the bitcoin since next year , couple of months before Halving block and after the Halving block . Hopefully it will reach 1k $ or more then
