Yes, certainly. Bitcoin is spreading, but not at a very fast pace. It is used more and more in online payments and shopping and I feel as if we need to encourage this to enable bitcoin to grow further.
I agree. Although many people know about Bitcoin by now, IMO still most of them don't. But it's not so easy to find a new ways of advertisement. Worth a try though.

Any sites you recommend? Strategy?
Can't recommend you any sites since you want to earn with gambling and I'm positive that that's impossible. You can only play for fun if you want to, but you should never try to earn with gambling.

Plus the money spent on power keeps my thermostat down : ) the heat that comes off these in my highly insulated flat is enough to keep me warm and turn the thermostat down I told my uncle about this and hes stopped playing the national lottery and just bought himself a cheap S1 to throw in the solo pool, deciding its better value than the lottery! I explained to him how it all works and he was quite impressed haha. He has much less hashrate than me, but anything can happen! As my uncle is a set-it and forget it person his has the same solo pool configuration and failover. I was interested in trying an s5 but the problem is the noise unless I could put quieter fans on it! Jacob That's a really nice decicion! I was suggesting something like this some time ago but I thought nobody had the chance to do it. I wish you and your uncle the best of luck! Please update the thread, it's very interesting!

I would use kraken. I've had good experience with them and as amph mentioned you don't have to go through the id hassle for low amounts of cash.
Although, I would rather advice you to hold on to the coins..
Exactly this! 1/8 or 0.125 of Bitcoin is only $42 now. This is not an amount you can't live without. I know in some countries that's a month's living expenses, but still I'd suggest you to find the money somewhere else and hold your coins.

Hello, people! Do you remember price of Bitcoin when you heard about BTC at first in your life? When I heard about BTC at first in my life the price was around $50 or so. The bad thing is I didn't believe it was worth something at all

I'd pick Bitcoin definitely. I'd pick it because I think Bitcoin is something from the future and gold is something from the past. And to the people who brings up the issue of Bitcoin's volatility I'd propose to take a look at the picture below.
|
|
|
IMO the price of gold correlates inversely with the state of economy in general and therefore it rises in times of an economic crisis and drops when everything is stabilized.
Most people believe that buying gold is a good investment, what they are overlooking is that almost everyone thinks this way, which creates high demand and the price of gold rises to the point when buying it is not a good investment at all. This was the case in 2011, for example, when the price of gold was over $1,800/oz.

If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
I believe that in 10 years the price of Bitcoin will rise at least tenfold. No one would definitely say that about gold. Ok, we can have an inflation and the price of gold in USD might rise tenfold then, but I'm talking about the real value. So it's better to put it like this: In 10 years from now you can buy with one Bitcoin ten times more of gold than you can buy now. just my opinion ofc. )

|
|
I agree with the list above. OP you can use the links, at least first six of them I tried and they are IMO decent Bitcoin dice sites. Some of them will give you 200 or 500 sats for free to start playing. Good luck!

Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?
Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.
If only I can make 0.2 BTC per day I would quit my day job to go full time on bitcoin. I can see no options I can make that amount online so far.

The US dollar wont exist in 20 years - crypto will. Ponder that.
Maybe you are right, idk. 20 years is a long time span nowadays. I mean 200 years ago 20 years was nothing, they might pass without nothing new happening, but these days ... no, it's definitely a long time span. 20 years ago no one would predict something like Bitcoin will appear.

http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/1877c388-8797-11e5-90de-f44762bf9896.html#axzz3r7J89upVBitcoin also lacks another feature of currencies: the balance sheet of a central bank standing behind it. They might be intangible, but a balance sheet has two sides to it, lists of assets and liabilities. The bitcoin ledger, by comparison, is just a glorified list of liabilities, keeping track of where the bitcoins are located.
Can't read the article. Can you paste it here? I don't want to pay my money to those who are issuing biased (in a bad way) articles about Bitcoin. )

Indeed, if you can just play gambling for fun only and just play with profit from yesterday wins, gambling can be quite fun and challenging.
This is how i view it too. It is fun when you win. But don't let it get too far, just as you are saying, use your profit from day before. If on a losing streak stop and walk away.Yeah, but the problem is when you are on a losing you think it will end 2-3 bets from now, and you are betting and betting, getiing more and more reds. And how about got profit first and then you lose all ? bad happiness. Not sure I understand what "bad happiness" means ) but yeah, you are right in general, its much better to got profit first and then lose all which is left, sure ) EDIT: its better than deposit and lose all )

That's a great news. Not very unexpected though, considering the fact that population of Indonesia is over 255 million now. I think the future of Bitcoin in Indonesia is bright because nowadays Indonesia's governmental structure is based on economic and political co-operation with Western nations.

Voted: Pokemon. I'm a big fan since the very beginning. An interesting fact about Pokemon is that it was created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1995. Actually I think Pikachu should be the mascot of Bitcoin.

Iceland = free country - good laws China = suppressive as hell make your choice I know but I want to know renting and electricity costs of both countries "You can google it, but even without googling it is obvious that renting and electricity costs are much lower in China" - that's what I was going to say, but then googled it and I was very surprised to see that electricity costs are lower in Iceland actually: Iceland 5.54 US ¢/kWh
China 7.5 to 10.7 US ¢/kWh

I don't know about 1M $, but Bitcoin can reach $10k in 10 years IMO. I'm not saying to reach 1M $ in 10 years is absolutely not possible, but it is highly improbable.
