12541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tottenham Vs LiverPool UEFA Final on: May 21, 2019, 08:32:12 AM
I think Liverpool is the better team and with the better individuals but I would like Tottenham to win. I don't think it will be a big goal spectacle like we saw in the previous rounds. 2:1 win for Liverpool in my opinion with Sadio Mane as man of the match.

12543  Other / Meta / Re: Shouldn't Theymos act on Bounty Managers Now on: May 20, 2019, 09:20:05 AM
I agree with the guidelines proposal you created but I think there should also be an inclusion of penalty for project that don't pay bounty hunters for the tasks and time they spent.
I don't think they would care about that. If a project makes a bounty with the intention to cheat their bounty hunters they wouldn't be interested in the consequences. Considering that these projects usually only pay after a successful ICO, and not on a weekly basis, they would have already gathered enough funds and the ICO is over so posting proof that they are scammers and expecting a punishment wouldn't change anything. They already got what they wanted.

The only way to get some regulation in the bounty and ICO world would be enforce these campaigns to pay in a weekly basis (like BTC sig campaigns). There is still the risk of getting a bag of worthless tokens.
Or, force them to pay in BTC. It has been suggested many times before and it is certainly not on top of the admins to-do list.

Well, that was one example. In general though, for over .3 deposits to be used at the sportsbook, which rule applies: The T&C rule or the FAQ rule

They state different things.
If you want to be 100% certain you can also try to contact the FJ team over discord. There is support chat and the admins will be able to help you there.

Hello, I was wondering if I could talk to somebody on the support staff of Fortune Jack about a withdraw processing issue. I haven't been able to receive any information from support. Thanks
Same as for the user above, you can try and contact them on discord. The link to it is available on the official FJ site.

When you tried switching servers manually did you un-tick the option 'Select server automatically'? Some people forget that and it doesn't work.
12546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 20, 2019, 08:32:57 AM
They did but before the announce of #Allegri out.

His brother is also is "attorney" I think this is the term you call the middleman (like Raiola Mendes etc) said "Next season Paulo will leave Juventus"

Source: https://www.tuttosport.com/news/calcio/calciomercato/2019/05/16-56974445/il_fratello_di_dybala_paulo_lascia_la_juve_/

This is BEFORE Juventus announced the fire dismissal of Allegri, the brother told: "Dybala as many others players is not happy for what the coach is doing and will leave next season"!

Now with a new coach, I think this will can be deleted but if Allegri still was the coach Dybala next year was on a different team.

Many players were not happy for the scheme of #Allegri and his defensive type of game
It is true that many players were unhappy and seemed unhappy and that is evident for everyone who follows the team. But the chapter Allegri is now closed and hopefully a more brave and modern manager will be appointed.

I don't trust such articles as the one you posted. Speculations are one thing but no professional or his entourage would say 'I want to leave, I am unhappy and I don't like my coach'! That is like suicide. Dybala leaving Juventus is part of every single transfer market window. The main problem for Dybala this season was the 4-3-3 system I think. He doesn't fit into any of those roles. Hopefully that will be abandoned next year.

Agree, I'm just referring that it was discussed long ago but don't have any output that has been done by our admins. I also liked to see how will admins set regulations to bounty managers because some of them are receiving huge payments just to fool the participants. I've been scammed a lot of times in a project and BMs are included in that action. Undecided]
If you got scammed make a thread in the Scam Accusation section with appropriate proof and DT members will tag the bounty manager. Also make sure that you check the trust rating of the bounty manager prior to applying for his bounty. I would be careful of bounty managers who are new to the forums and have just created their accounts, with a bought copper membership, running a bounty campaign.

Unfortunately it's a bit too much to expect theymos to know everything about the ICOs or bounties that get posted here. And users only get tagged and not banned for scams so everyone has to decide for himself what to take part in.
12548  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: May 19, 2019, 01:41:28 PM
On the other hand though, the following worries me. It's from the FAQ withdrawals section -- what are the requirements for making a withdrawal?:

Firstly, verifying your account via email.

If your last deposit amount is equal to or greater than 0.3 BTC (or equivalent in other currencies) you have to turn over your deposit amount at least once, and the amount of the withdrawal should be at least 0.004 BTC (or its equivalent in other currencies).

This makes it seem like the .3 rule applies generally to everything?
It doesn't apply to you from how I understand it. You are looking to deposit 0.25 BTC and the rule you mentioned above is for deposits of 0.3 BTC and above. Therefore, the only rule that you have to follow (if you deposit 0.25 BTC) is to wager half of your deposit before you can withdraw.

Someone correct me if I am wrong please.
12549  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum fee under 1 sat/byte on: May 19, 2019, 01:14:42 PM
The current minimum fee for a transaction to get accepted is over 20 Sat/Byte according to https://www.coinb.in/#fees.
The chances of a 1 sat/byte transaction to get accepted anytime soon are slim considering that Bitcoin has started another rally as it seems so you should reconsider doing that if you need your transaction to get confirmed anytime soon.
12550  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Think my BTC got stolen in Jaxx Wallet.... on: May 19, 2019, 01:09:12 PM
I mean, you printed it out. So you probably had to type the seed into your computer, right? That itself is a potential attack vector, easily through a keylogger.
It sure is but even if he didn't print it out and was infected with a keylogger his seed could still have gotten stolen because some keyloggers also take periodic screenshots of your screen and send the pictures to the attacker.
12551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 19, 2019, 12:59:34 PM
I think Atalanta has a pretty good chance of winning the match because Chielini doesn't play (defensive crisis)
Chiellini was in the end called up and is part of the squad. It remains to be seen if he will play or not. He was injured during the week.

atalanta will fight juventus and i'm sure juventus will not play well because of several issues that have happened about allegri and dybala departure from juventus next season, i'm sure Atalanta will be able to get a draw for tomorrow match
Dybala is not leaving Juventus. Allegri will 100% not be the manager next season but nobody is talking about Dybala leaving. I doubt he was happy this season playing out of his natural position but the club is not looking to sell him.
12552  Other / Meta / Re: [Appeal] 1-2years sig ban is too much for Good for the forum users on: May 18, 2019, 09:36:35 AM
I believe that it is worthwhile to offer participants an alternative punishment instead of a signature ban. To carry the signature to a certain point with reference to the rules of this forum. This will help most participants read the forum rules more often.
I am even ready to be a member of the group that will monitor the implementation of this decision.
That might actually not be such a bad idea! It would be like cooperating with the authorities for a slightly lighter sentence.
The banned members could wear a custom signature saying:

I was banned for plagiarising content. This servers as a warning to everyone to never copy and paste without providing a reference to the original source. Please read the rules and don't copy and paste!
12553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 18, 2019, 09:25:33 AM
Juventus will probably be without Chiellini tomorrow for their match against Atalanta and it is being reported that Andrea Barzagli is likely to start and will be captaining the team. Barzagli is 37 years old and will retire at the end of the season. He isn't in the best of shape and has been sidelined with injuries for quite some time in this season. Juventus have nothing to play for except their pride and the fact that they have not won in their last couple of matches. Atalanta on the other hand are trying to secure a Champions League spot and will try to redeem themselves after a disappointing loss against Lazio in the Finals of Coppa Italia.
Take all that into account if you are planning to bet on this match.
12554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make a qualified post! on: May 18, 2019, 09:15:36 AM
OP you are confused about the meanings of the words you used in your thread.
It is not a 'qualified' post, you were trying to say a 'quality' post.

Qualified means having the skills to do a certain job. A doctor should be qualified to asses patients.
Qualified also means having earned the right to participate in a sports tournament for example. France is qualified for the World Cup.

Qualifications, another word you used wrongly, is similar to qualified (the difference is that it is a noun) means that you are capable of performing a certain task based on your skills, education, knowledge etc.

Because of that your post isn't a quality post. I understand that English is not your first language, and that is ok, but you can improve if you try.
12555  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Change how to evaluate article quality to receive Merit? on: May 18, 2019, 08:55:50 AM
It is a bad idea. Whenever you consider making changes that you think are for the betterment of the forum try to think if it can be abused. And your proposal can be abused like stated by previous members.
As to your other proposal regarding a sort of KYC, that goes against the basics of Bitcoin and decentralisation. theymos has stated many times that he is against implementing KYC and rightly so.
12556  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Binance Phishing Quiz - What you need to know to protect yourself from phishing on: May 18, 2019, 08:41:27 AM
i thought that if the project post about *listing in binance in the process will be listed later but after i take the Quiz it's said that there is a scam attempt?
A project claiming that they will be listed on Binance doesn't necessarily have to be a scam. It can just be an attempt to gain more popularity and with more popularity comes more investments.
Generally speaking, serious projects will not make such claims. They will only make the information available once it has been confirmed by both parties that the listing will happen.
Therefore, if you see ads like that it doesn't have to mean it is a scam attempt but it could mean that they are lying for whatever reason.
12557  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New a hot wallet. on: May 17, 2019, 11:12:45 AM
We witnessed a huge number of cases where users of one of the most popular desktop wallet (Electrum), lost significant amounts of BTC due fake wallet / phising exploit.
In those cases it was always the fault of the users and not Electrum. They were the ones who downloaded and used the fake wallets. Electrum made it impossible to display those messages in their newest versions.

In case when user is using only web wallet / exchange, it just need to be careful to always use legit site, and that device is clean from malware / virus threats.

Legit exchanges have been hacked in the past and especially users using APIs or no 2FA protection lost their funds.

Given a choice between relying on someone else handling my keys - like web wallets or using a trusted desktop wallet that had its faults or still has some but applying common sense can help to fix that, I would choose the 2nd option.

12559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People who gamble are degenerates, change my mind. on: May 17, 2019, 10:01:18 AM
My uncle told me a story once.

Two guys are sitting in a bar. One is a smoker and the other isn't. The guy who doesn't smoke asks his friend why he is smoking. He calls him an idiot for spending so much money on cigarettes. He says that if he had saved all that money that he spent on cigarettes all those years he could have bought a brand new Ferrari now.

The friend who smokes replies. Do you smoke?
His friend says 'No'.
Well where is your Ferrari then?

The point is whether you gamble or not you will always find ways to spend money on things you don't really need, just look around you. Do you really need a brand new mobile phone every year? Luxury watches, jewellery, 5 pairs of sneakers per year. Why do you need to go to the stadium and pay those ridiculously expensive tickets when you can watch the game on TV?

People like spending money for various reasons and gambling is just one of them. It is only a problem if it affects your health and the safety or you and your family.
12560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: May 17, 2019, 09:48:50 AM
Making any bets on this match can be very tricky. I am still trying to make up my mind. I think the safest bet (if it can be called that) for this match is betting on both teams to score. The odds are around 1.80 at the moment which is not that bad.
