12561  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: C# - Give me few project ideas ? on: August 08, 2015, 05:44:36 AM
I will share the bitcoin profits for 6 months if you can build a bitcoin dice game to add to my site. The traffic is growing and growing.

This is the site

I'am not offering services here mate , and your site is probably not written in ASP.NET C# so I wouldn't able to help you out .
I only do C# for the moment and looking for project ideas to do , thats all Smiley .
12562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many coins on: August 07, 2015, 07:02:16 PM
There are many coins beside BTC . i am Newbie and didn't know exist other coins . i'm confused with seeing Altcoin section .

Someone comes and explain what is features of newcoins ? Is there a website that classify coins with special features that BTC hasn't it and compare their with other coins ?

As I always say , alternative coins are simply some cheap copies and Bitcoin is the original and the unique thing .
Since Bitcoin is the original & Open source , people simply take BTC , edit it  & make their own coin most of the time it's for pump and dump as Muhammed Zakir said , however there is some of them  have features that Bitcoin don't have , some of them don't use same Algorithm , some of them is fully annonymus like Darkcoin aka DASH .

That's my personal opinion to be honest , but if you want an advice , simply stick to Bitcoin because it's the most known and it's accepted more then the alternative (either via web or real life) Smiley Welcome to the community .
12563  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: 2.4 Windows Binaries on: August 07, 2015, 03:41:15 PM
Any idea when we can expect the Windows binaries for version 2.4?

Also, anybody on 2.4 who have made use of the feature to send/receive bitcoins via the email plugin?

I tried it in Electrum 2.4.0.2 for litecoin but could not get it to work or rather do not understand how its supposed to work. Checked the documentation but cannot find any mention of this plugin.

I contacted ThomasV about this matter because I wanted this new version aswell and this what he told me :

we are currently experiencing problems with the windows builds. I have no ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival)
12564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What's the amount that every Bitcoiner should own ? on: August 07, 2015, 03:26:23 PM
I'am not sure if some of you remember this website (It dosen't work anymore) : http://amifilthyrich.com (It's redirect to their original website 99bitcoins)

According to this when the website was used 7 months ago https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2pqiqh/i_am_filthy_rich/
It seems like 92% of Bitcoiners own less then one BTC . (I'am not even sure how that's calculated since some people spread their coins on different wallets and adresses and some of them have shitload of adresses empty)

So , from that ... I want to know how much do you think every bitcoin should be holding ? (Holding means not using it or spend it just keep it safe on Cold storage or PC or whatever without touching them)
12565  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1฿=$5m will happen on a normal day on: August 07, 2015, 01:55:34 PM
1BTC=$5m will happen on a normal day and nobody will notice. You will be the richest man in the whole town / city / country and nobody will notice. I wouldn't dare tell anyone if I were you.

There is no way in hell it could reach that amount of cash , there is just no way not even in 2140 (unless it's the price of a Happy meal on that time)  .
What you are saying make no sense , be realistic man we are struggling to go mainstream and after 6 years from the creation of Bitcoin the price is like ~280 $ so halving block or not , mainstream or not , the 5 million USD won't happen and I don't think someone would agree with you in this at least not without you giving arguments .
12566  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: C# - Give me few project ideas ? on: August 07, 2015, 01:15:46 PM
Now and I have fresh PC and I installed Windows 10 , I 'am planning to install Visual studio 2015 and start developing using C# once again since it's been a long time since I didn't touch any programming IDE  Roll Eyes

So give me few ideas what I should do (Basically for Windows) small , medium projects I guess ,nothing big I'am not that professional .

I was thinking on making something for Watch-only ? Basically a program on your PC you can add to it how much addresses you want with Label and once it receives something you get a notification but I'am not sure if it's already available or not .

Anyway just let me know what do you think (about this project) + new ideas

Nice idea, your idea is useful i think, although you can do with some wallet desktop, but if you have create a platform which can get a notif balance receiving/spending when go to online mode, this useful.
How about bitcoin/altcoin price ticker?

What's exactly a price ticker ?
Do you mean something like Preev.com just on a Desktop application mode ? If that's the case then it won't be hard to do , if it's not explain more if you don't mind .
12567  Other / New forum software / a Bump button ?? on: August 07, 2015, 12:49:08 PM
I thought that making a bump button could be a really good idea , mostly on marketplace section
Instead of moderators coming always and ask us to remove previous bumps and make one each 24 hours , we should make a button that bump the thread and we can use it only once 24 hours of course .
This could be really helpful on decreasing some spam on signature compaigns or even without sig .

What are your thoughts guys ? Feel free to add more on what I said if you agree . just gave the basic idea I guess and developpers are free to do however they found good

12572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the largest exchanges that purchases from US Bank accounts? on: August 07, 2015, 06:43:54 AM
I already know about coinbase.com

Are there other very large (and hopefully safe) exchanges that I can easily buy (and store in cold storage) bitcoins with funds from a US bank account? If possible I would like to just find out the largest 2-3.

There is Circle.com from reading this http://www.coindesk.com/information/how-can-i-buy-bitcoins/
"Circle offers users worldwide the chance to store, send, receive and exchange bitcoins. Currently only US citizens are able to link bank accounts to deposit funds, but credit and debit cards are also an option. Apps for iOS and Android are now available." and that's your case.

I would like to know how does that works to be honest , but didn't get it between topic &  title , you mean we should pay 3$ to get this method that makes us earn 16$ ?
I'd like to get a vouch copy if possible Smiley
12574  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the best online bitcoin wallet on: August 07, 2015, 06:06:21 AM
I wanna know what is the best online bitcoin wallet  To start with

blockchain.info is actually the best in my opinion , it was the first I started with when I was getting my bitcoins since Bitcoin Core was taking too much time to Sync and I didn't knew about the other wallets .
but blockchain.info have their problems now , maybe try something like Coinbase . it could do the job too

12576  Bitcoin / Legal / Tokyo Court: Bitcoin Not "Subject to Ownership" on: August 06, 2015, 05:23:22 PM
Tokyo's District Court has ruled that bitcoin is "not subject to ownership", with a judge informing a plaintiff he could not claim for bitcoins lost in the Mt Gox collapse.
Judge Masumi Kurachi stated that, due to their intangible nature and reliance on third parties, bitcoins cannot be covered under existing law.

Mark ... this kind of crap that kills Bitcoin . just like Silk road or any other Darknet market

We will more then likely never know the number of Bitcoin users , it's just impossible . also Blockchain is nothing most of people know the security measures to take now [NO ONLINE WALLETS] so they are using Desktop , Paper & Hardware wallets .
And they are simply inactive because they are holding , from what i see more people are getting familliar with BTC and starting to use it .

12579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / LOT Polish Airlines Now Accepts Bitcoin on: August 05, 2015, 03:26:19 PM
LOT Polish Airlines is now accepting bitcoin payments, meaning the digital currency can be used to pay for flights to more than 60 global destinations.

Tickets can be purchased on LOT's desktop and mobile websites. LOT does not accept directly, but exchanges the digital currency for fiat using an unnamed payment service provider, the media outlet said.

LOT now accepts bitcoin alongside payment methods including American Express, PayPal, MasterCard and Visa.

Jiri Marek, executive director of sales and distribution for the company, said the decision demonstrates how LOT is open to "every client need" as well as innovations in the travel industry.

Marek said: (I really liked his statement , it's just a matter of time Grin )

""Many of our customers are shopping online, including flights. It is only a matter of time before virtual currency payments will become as popular as credit card use nowadays. We saw this potential."
