1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new look to KYC, from a customer's perspective. on: March 18, 2019, 10:46:05 AM
So, what does KYC mean? I always hated that thing, mostly because I feelt it is an unnecesary leak of information.

With these times and all the shitcoin scams and real waste of time and money I came to the resolution that we need a new meaning for KYC.
Some project may avoid dealing with the law prohibiting ICO / STO in some countries such as US, China. So it seems normal that they require investors to do KYC. But right now there are many projects that are not convincing or maybe fake making us hesitate to do KYC.

Know Your CEO.
~snip
This is indeed necessary and thank you for sharing this method, Although it's still not enough, at least it can spot the fake ico or etc.

Any ideas?
Currently there are many trusted KYC service providers such as Civic, Jumio or Sum & Substance. If the project integrates it, I think it's safe, the rest just need to do more research like seeing the team background as you said

trusted site of icobench.com
This is wrong, have you not learned from the experience of several previous projects such as Hashcard? Some Experts who are there now are only experts who are paid even though some of them still have a passion for reviewing. So the review cannot be used as a consideration.

Investing in token sales is almost the same as gambling, sometimes you are lucky or not.
1264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-03-14] Tether Updates site, Says USDT Backed by “Reserves,” Not Just Cash on: March 17, 2019, 08:51:12 PM
Wow, all this time I just found out that tether is backed up by reserves rather than fiat. Previously I thought USDT was fully backed up by Fiat. Tether has been widely adopted in many crypto markets and the statement on the website as you say made me surprised and a little disappointed, I was curious about how the market will respond. I mean, this makes it a bit of a horror. So for now, what stable coin is really "convincing"?

For future reference I keep their page here: http://archive.fo/kGalL

1265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Galaxy S10 Blockchain Wallet Supports Ethereum, not Bitcoin on: March 17, 2019, 10:27:01 AM
I don't think Samsung doesn't want to add the btc wallet option to their latest Flaghship just maybe there are still some bugs or some problems(?) Who knows ?, I'm sure BTC will be added to their wallet sooner or later. They may now prioritize ethereum and ethereum-based tokens in their flagship. I mean BTC is the beginning of all cryptocurrency, it's impossible for Samsung to ignore this. Well, let's see what will happen in the future.
1266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) on: March 16, 2019, 09:58:19 PM
ICO It seems that it is not too attractive to investors at this time because many frauds ICO and IEO is the answer, this is a good transition even though it might have an impact on the bounty hunter. Investors will certainly prefer the IEO because on the other hand their funds are guaranteed (At least). The exchange is also not carelessly provide the fundraising Platform to the project right? This concerns their reputation. So IEO will become newest Hype  until there are other new solutions that are better.
1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are not fighting with post-ICO scams? on: March 16, 2019, 09:37:25 PM
This is an interesting discussion, there are many factors that make investors didn't continue into the legal sphere, But this in my opinion is a problem for most investors, the answer is simple, they are constrained by "Distance" (Majority). Some investors certainly think it's just a waste of time to continue their case and the costs that must be incurred to hire a lawyer, etc.

Note: This statement applies to most middle-to-small investors, for big investors or whale they of course will take a legal action.

1269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins in cryptocurrency? on: March 15, 2019, 08:52:50 PM
It is too early to talk about the stability of coins. Now just the situation on the market. But when the bulls run, many coins will begin to move more actively.
It seems like you don't understand what he is asking here, we are discussing stable coin here is not about some random coin/tokens or speculation. Your statement is also wrong, we are not too early to discuss about this one because Stable coins are made for the price to remain stable or equal (1 USD). I don't know if you are not read it fully or not understood what is Stable Coin means, if it is like that it might be useful for you: https://cryptocurrencyfacts.com/what-is-a-stable-coin/
1270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins in cryptocurrency? on: March 14, 2019, 08:45:06 PM
if you say doge. Maybe it's true, because doge is one of the altcoins that is said to be stable. The price if you experience a decline certainly does not fall too much. And if you experience an increase, of course if you don't increase so much.
Your statement is wrong, even though doge is stable but the price is fluctuating, There is no standard price for doge (Backed (?)) and initially doge is not made to be stable coin. So doge cannot be called Stable coin.

So far that i know there are several stablecoin in cmc that is;
USDT
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tether/

USDC
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/usd-coin/

USC
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/usdcoin/

PAX (Paxos)
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/paxos-standard-token/

GUSD (Gemini)
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/gemini-dollar/

I did not pay too much attention to the price of stable coin because the movement was not too much (0.x%), to find the lowest price you need to see one bye one on exchange too see actual stable coin price or maybe can use the Arbitrage tool.

1272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Confidence in Cryptocurrency on: March 13, 2019, 09:47:20 PM
I have tried to ask myself this question many times: What can be done to restore and foster investors' confidence in cryptocurrency?
It seems like the regulation won't be too influential, they aren't stupid enough to not enter the same hole right? Today there seems to be no investor actually investing their funds for the long term project. They only look for short profits from bonuses or buybacks (Backup Funds (?))from team when the token listed on exchange (This is according to my experience in the past few months). So regulation Is a good step but not fully restore investor confidence,at least they can be a little optimistic.
Aside that, if exchanges have not started the process of insuring the funds on users on their platform, it will be good they start that.

For this one, the process is certainly very complicated and the insurance company will also be afraid. Even so, I also hope that there will be an exchange that provides the initial steps for this

people need to change to stop being scammed.
I agree to this, but now the fake project is getting smarter (Whitepaper, Website, etc.) It looks very convincing. So it's little bit hard to spot an fake ico.

Anyway maybe this can help educate us all, this fake project was launched by the SEC or theymos (?) To educate us to indicate that this is fake ICO.

1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the cryptocurrency market starting to improve slowly? on: March 13, 2019, 08:55:28 AM
I think the current market conditions (Feb> March) Better than the previous period, a lot of good news on the market, this certainly brings a positive trend. Some of the major cryptocurrency increases and are stable at 1-3%, maybe the market is still waiting for the continuation, but yes this is better than before.

IMO, For long-term investments it is not too late or too fast because the crypto market is fully speculated.

1275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No one is using dapps on: March 12, 2019, 10:23:36 AM
I don't agree with you, it seems like "no one uses Dapps" it's a wrong statement, it's just not yet fully giving Dapps full potential. At the moment we are still adapting is not it? most Dapps previously were only gambling and dex So i think people are just too bored, that's all. Some potential Dapps have started to appear like MCH, etc. So for now it may be true that Dapps are less attractive, but I'm sure for the next few periods Dapps will start to be in demand and i'm sure statements in the article are False. Only my opinion
1276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your TOP-3 blockchain games? on: March 11, 2019, 04:20:35 PM
It seems quite difficult to find non-gambling blockchain games for now, most of them is gambling but I had time to see something interesting. Even though I have never played it but I have seen several things related to this. So far I just saw 2 blockchain based games.

1. MCH (My Crypto Heroes)
TBH, I new on this one but saw some video on youtube, I think it's a RPG genre (Web Based RPG(?) Like fgo, gbf, etc.). You can find equipment, improve your character, etc. And what I like is 8-BIT CLASSIC!. It's based on eth, visit here for more details: https://twitter.com/mycryptoheroes. Don't forget to give a review after you play it, maybe I will be interested in playing it more later  Grin

2. Satoshi Dice
Sorry if you do not like gambling but this is my recommended.

BONUS (Fishing Master)
Yes, I also have never played it but according to its name this is a fishing game.

Anyway you can visit this website https://dappradar.com/rankings and choose tags Games to search for various other games.

1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fortnite, PUBG, DOTA 2, Hearthstone, Apex coming to blockchain? Mass adoption? on: March 08, 2019, 08:38:20 PM
Do you think it will help bring in mass adoption?
After I read the two articles actually it was not entirely focused on esport, I think they only focus provided a platform for bets or something like twitch(?), and previously there was something like that, like Asura project.

So I don't think this will be too big because maybe only a few people understand. Unless Steam or the game developer gives an option to buy their game credit using cryptocurrency, that might affect to mass adoption. Well, that's what I think.
1279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enjin [ENJ] Coin Gains 400% in a Fortnight as Samsung Creates Euphoria in the Cr on: March 08, 2019, 12:13:29 PM
It's a pity I'm late to join this hype earlier. So a few days earlier I looked at the idex with Enj as the biggest gainer and I did not expect that Enj would be added to the Samsung S10 built cryptocurrency wallet, I think only a few major cryptocurrency will be added like btc, eth, xrp, etc.

But it looks like this hype will continue for the next few weeks, you can see 24h/vol is very large compared to a few days ago and the price increases slightly every day. So I think there is still chance to follow this hype even though it's a little late.
1280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STO vs ICO! What is the main difference? on: March 07, 2019, 08:56:15 PM
Well, when I become an investor now, it seems like I will choose STO instead ICO. After some large ICOs cannot release products or keep their promises like during fundraising I'm not sure the ICO will be interested anymore (Maybe) At least when we follow STO It's regulated.

I'm not really good at invested on the project, but this is my opinion, anyway thanks for sharing I will try to visit your website.
