1261  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to make money on: April 09, 2023, 08:54:51 AM
Money is the real thing about life, if you don't have it life is meaningless. You get irritated at every slide, nothing entice you, you get sick when you're not really observing any symptoms. Lack of money derogates lifestyles and scares friends away. Well enough of that.

We can also try to balance life through this means below:.
1. Think of what you want in life
2.  Don't stay idle, do anything except evil deeds.
3.  Meet new friends always and seek their advise.
4. Improve your skins, your qualifications.
4. Learn investment lifestyles and invest
5. Start from small with what you have.
6. Always updates your information
7. Learn to do savings

Money is a big part of our life just because we all need money to do or get most of the things that we want, so we better manage our money well. I mean we're all different so some methods might work for some people some may not work.

The easiest way to earn money is to have a skill, with that you could easily get a job and from that, you can save and invest your money, creating your own investment method and putting money into your financial goals.
You could start with a Savings fund, investments fund, emergency fund, etc.

4. Improve your skins, your qualifications.

in my experience, when it comes to making money..

it all comes down to opportunities.

gl

There are plenty of opportunities when you already have the skills I think.

1262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has a bad reputation (we should fix it) on: April 09, 2023, 07:34:01 AM
For sure there are a lot of people that have a bad perception of Bitcoin mostly because it is involved in a lot of different activities including illegal ones. I mean that's totally normal if you don't know a thing and you heard nad things about it your going to have a bad perception about it and probably think that Bitcoin is illegal or something like that.

I think the best thing to do is just to promote Bitcoin, the more we promote Bitcoin the more people will get interested in it and will probably learn and understand it. If they understand Bitcoin and know what it is they will know that it is not what they think it is, theres no need to convince them.
1263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving only 1 year away on: April 09, 2023, 06:53:16 AM
That just means that it's still early and we have a lot of opportunity to accumulate Bitcoin in the coming years. I mean it could easily boost the hype of the market for sure when the halving is near the market price is going to skyrocket again meaning it could be profitable for a lot of investors.

At the same time, there will be a huge effect again on mining rewards means a lot of miners possibly will not be profitable anymore at that point that could also reduce the network hash rate resulting in a longer transaction time and reduced the security of the network.
1264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No late comer in bitcoin Investment. on: April 08, 2023, 07:20:29 AM
I mean prompt beats diligent, so they believed in Bitcoin early so it just makes sense that they are the ones that could make a good profit out of it for sure.

Back in 2017, I discovered Bitcoin when it is still around 400$ and even though I want to invest in it I don't really have a lot of money since I'm just a student. And it was probably difficult to invest in Bitcoin at that time because you don't even know it Bitcoin is going to actually gives you profit, some investors are just lucky and some are not.

That is why this bear market is already a good opportunity to invest in Bitcoin because the market price was still low and far from its All time high when the price started to skyrocket a lot of investors will be encouraged to invest and probably will be greedy if you invest early your not gonna carry the risk because you still have leverage and you could easily hold your bitcoin for a long time until you think its a good time to sell already.
1265  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be greedy – a short goose story on: April 08, 2023, 06:38:34 AM
Greed is never a good idea because it can ruin all your profits when you are having more of Loss.
To underline why we should avoid greed, here is a short story from ancient Greek writer Aesop:

Quote
There was once a Countryman who possessed the most wonderful Goose you can imagine, for every day when he visited the nest, the Goose had laid a beautiful, glittering, golden egg.

The Countryman took the eggs to market and soon began to get rich. But it was not long before he grew impatient with the Goose because she gave him only a single golden egg a day. He was not getting rich fast enough.

Then one day, after he had finished counting his money, the idea came to him that he could get all the golden eggs at once by killing the Goose and cutting it open. But when the deed was done, not a single golden egg did he find, and his precious Goose was dead.

It is a very simple story but it is also true for crypto: don't get greedy because it could result in a big loss, where all your profits are gone and you end up at a big loss, no chance to recover it.
Do a detailed research, avoid risky Altcoins and keep your coins safe.

Be happy from what your profits are at and don't get greedy because it is always a good idea to avoid risk.
Don't murder your goose = HODL your Coins.

Emotion was one of your enemies when it comes to trading or investing, if you get aggressive positively you could easily make mistakes on your trades maybe sell your bitcoin at the wrong prices.

I do get greedy sometimes especially back in the day when I still do daily trading when you do future trades it has leverage so you could possible loss your portfolio if you do not put a stop loss on your trades. I mean it's an easy money thing so you could easily get greedy most of the time.

In my opinion and experience the best thing to do is to have a plan and set your goal, or just be early so that you would have a lot of leverage.
1266  Other / Meta / Re: A recap of Theymos April fool Jokes from 2015 till date on: April 08, 2023, 05:16:57 AM
The recent one was great and entertaining, the troll when you need to repeat the flappy bird game was just annoying but similar to the last year's April Fools.

This joke was just so fun when I joined the forum in 2017 it was really fun to have this kind of troll so that we also have some fun here not just some serious discussions. The Virus thing was the best because you thought the website was just getting destroyed.

Excited for the next year April fool  Grin let's see what the next one is.

1267  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New virus & malware automatically empties crypto exchange accounts on: April 08, 2023, 03:39:45 AM
It seems ridiculous that it could obtain your 2FA authenticator at some point, some could bypass 2FA authentication because it's already login on the owner's browsers only when you log in to other computers.

As well as visiting gambling or porn websites could not easily infiltrate your computer, I mean you can not download any malware on your computer unless you allow it to be downloaded, when something pops up and you download that exe or file that could possibly be it. I mean you could do a lot of ways to secure your computer and as long as you are aware there's a very low chance that you're gonna get infiltrated.

Ways to secure our PC from hacking

  • Use a firewall.
  • Installyantivirusysoftwareyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
  • Install an anti-spyware package
  • Use complex passwords
  • Keep your OS, apps and browser up-to-date
  • Ignore spam
  • Back up your computer
  • Use virtualization
  • Secure your network
  • Use two-factor authentication
  • Use encryption

For mobile devices

  • Turn off Bluetooth.
  • Don’t use unsecured public Wi-Fi
  • Get a security app
  • Use a better passcode
  • Switch off autocomplete
  • Clear your browsing history
1268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am now a Bitcoin investor on: April 08, 2023, 02:05:59 AM
I recently purchased 0.0045 Bitcoins which is still present in my trust wallet I believe with me owning a fraction of the worlds Bitcoin although a very tiny fraction in practical I am now a crypto currency investor  in essence a Bitcoin investor

Well, okay congratulation on owning bitcoin, yes you are now a Bitcoin investor, and I hope you continue to invest in Bitcoin or maybe learn trading as well to earn a good profit in the future. But still do your own research on what you investing in, and make sure that you only invest a small percentage of your money in bitcoin because it's a really risky investment.

You can easy learn here in the forum, a lot of experience members here can teach you and give you a lot of suggestions on how you can invest or trade cryptocurrency Good luck!
1269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is a custodial wallet to a hardware wallet on: April 07, 2023, 05:52:09 PM
I recently purchased some Bitcoins butAccording to most posts and replies on this forum it seem the best way to hodl Bitcoin is to use a hardware wallet as long as you can keep it safe.
Well is the hard ware wallet better than a custodial wallet??

If you don't want to make it too complicated just use Electrum wallet, It's one of the best wallets to store your Bitcoin, it's secure, has seeds, and a private key, and it's easy to install and access on your computer, obviously better than custodial wallets.

A hardware wallet is the best when it comes to security but your gonna need to buy the hardware if it's not an issue go for it, Custodial wallets are the worst since you don't have control over your funds at any moment they could easily freeze your account, banned it, or worst similar to what happened to FTX.
1270  Other / Meta / Re: Who was your April fool Best? on: April 07, 2023, 04:39:17 PM
theymos troll was actually fun the captcha thing and the flabby bird game was entertaining at first until it gets annoying because you need to repeat the game every time you're going to post plus if someone posted before you post your gonna need to repeat the flappy bird game, The red spammer tag was inevitable in the end but it was obviously an April fool thing.

The fake signature campaign relaunch was great, my campaign at that time was going to end so I'm already planning to join the campaign at that time, I was going to post my application but before applying I realize that it is an April Fool thing.

The 1000merit notification got at first when I read it the notification but it was obvious because it has the Rick Astley Never Gonna Give You Up link on Telegram Grin

So I think Royse777 is the best April Fool since it's the one that actually got me thinking that it's real and it's already late when I realize that its an April Fool.

1271  Local / Pilipinas / Bitcoin - Ang Mapayapang Rebolusyon on: April 07, 2023, 07:40:40 AM

At, araw-araw, mas maraming taong sumusuporta rito.

1272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does it take to become a Bitcoin investor on: April 07, 2023, 06:19:20 AM
Invest your money in Bitcoin, If you buy a Bitcoin or own a Bitcoin! Congratulation there you go you are now Bitcoin investors. Being a Bitcoin investor doesn't have any specific amount of Bitcoin that you need to own you just need to own a Bitcoin that doesn't need to be 100$ even with only a 1$ investment in Bitcoin You can call yourself a Bitcoin investor already.

Of course, you're gonna need basic Bitcoin knowledge so that you know how to buy Bitcoin, the strategy for your investment, you know what you buying or investing your money into, etc.
1273  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another scam email attempt on: April 06, 2023, 05:02:59 PM
He actually got your password somehow I mean he probably get that from other scam websites or probably it was the scam website that sent that email, I do manage my password on a notebook to avoid this I put a different password on different accounts and different websites, same as you do I do this exclusively on important websites, I don't even know the password of some of my accounts so I need my notebook to look at it most of the time, sometimes its a hassle doing that but it helps secure my accounts.

I mean you would really send this kind of amount of money to someone if they really have a sensitive file I might just accept that it's already on the internet, doing transactions with someone like him would just lead to more for sure.

Re: Don't use your bitcoin talk account password on other websites You can check this thread on how to make a strong password as well as using the same password on the same websites.
1274  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible to get bitcoins for free? on: April 06, 2023, 12:38:46 PM
Okay so earlier I came across a site that claimed that it's possible to get bitcoins for free by just; playing offline and online games, watching ads and videos, participating in airdrops and so on. They also recommended apps that give out bitcoin for free  like coinbase. Bitcoin, ranked as one of the most expensive cypto currencies can be earned for free by just watching ads? Nah I just find it hard to believe cause I've seen a lot of scam related schemes that claim to give out bitcoin for free. I don't know, I might be wrong cause I'm still a newbie that's why I brought this here, to see if I can get some clarification on the matter. Thank you.

Yes it is possible, For faucets, airdrops, etc you could probably get Bitcoin for free when I'm just starting on cryptocurrency and Bitcoin I also finding ways how to earn Bitcoin faucets is one of the ways where I actually get free bitcoin I actually did take a withdrawal on faucets but it's not actually a big amount of bitcoin but its not that bad. There are also airdrops that would happen somethings but mostly it wouldn't give bitcoin but newly launched altcoin in the market it actually give me free money, not just free but a big amount of money when I sold thousand of coins. I didn't know any games that give free bitcoin but there is a lot of them where you could earn other tokens it wasn't free like playing to earn games you're gonna need investments on its NFTs, but most are schemes.

Most of it needed some research to know a lot of information about it to earn Bitcoin for free but at this moment it wasn't really worth it to rely on these things. The best thing to do is to sell your service for bitcoin.
1275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I love Bitcoin on: April 06, 2023, 07:03:25 AM

I use Bitcoin every day, and it's an important part of my life. I can't imagine my life without Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I believe that its adoption rate will increase in the upcoming days, and many new users will start using this amazing invention of this century. Thanks a lot to Satoshi Nakamoto for developing such an amazing infrastructure that has made our lives easier and far better.

I'm curious how you use Bitcoin every day, I own Bitcoins in my wallet but I didn't really do anything on it aside from holding it in my wallet, probably only on some payments online or when I'm a trader I do send some of my bitcoin on the exchange when I want to trade but other than that I didn't really use bitcoin on some other things just because it wasn't really accepted as a currency in all stores probably only on selected stores only that i think is not worth it to accept bitcoin, Small Business that accept bitcoin or cyptocurrency here in PH, worth it ba?, also you can't use it on something like a market where they don't do online transactions.

For me Bitcoin is a great investment and maybe on some transactions online, I mean bitcoin has a very volatile market price in the market so your gonna need to sell it to use it on a payment which just means that your losing its value because we invest on it, just like want happening when someone buys a pizza using bitcoin then regrets it because the price started to skyrocket.

My Review on whirlwind.money.

The Website UI design was great, it was simple and easy to understand (user-friendly).
The pc version is great compared to the mobile version since it doesn't fit all of the information on the screen sometimes, probably depending on the user's smartphone size, etc.
It is very responsive on both pc and mobile use. I only do transactions on my pc but the mobile experience was great I can easily make a quick transaction with this especially when I'm not at home or just want to make a quick transaction.

There are times that I encounter these white blank pages that confuse me a lot when I'm opening the website if it's down or still working.
Even the refresh button cannot fix the website(multiple times ), I think it's a big issue since I can't use or load the website at all.

It doesn't seem to tell me when I didn't select any hours, Think a message pop-up without telling me what input I forget.

There are times when REFRESH TRANSACTION button doesn't seems to response numerous times i need to refresh that page to see the transaction.

Works completely fine(FAST), Completely received the 0.00085 with the default service fee of 1.5% plus the network fee of 0.0001, but it took around 2 hours before I received the payment in my wallet.

For beginners the process is very confusing I've used some mixers in the past and straight up deposit and sent to my address,
But the note is a little different I only find the answers here [ANN] Whirlwind.money | Bitcoin Mixer | Lowest Fees 0.25%-4% | Ultimate Privacy.
I think the best way to promote how to use this is by creating a youtube tutorial since it's easy to follow and explain in a video.
It would also be great if there are some sort of support portal that the user could easily message not just email on the bottom.
