Thought experiment. Two tribes, the northern herders and the southern herders. The northern herders, the collectivists, agree to live according to the common good, such that no man would starve in time of plenty. The southern herders, the individualists, agree to live according to individual rights. A man may go hungry in the south, but all community action is voluntary on principle. Is there any sensible way in which one tribe can be called more moral than the other? Is there some metamorality by which we can make sense of this?
"In the beginning of human life, when there was yet no law and government, the custom was "everybody according to his moral (yi)." Accordingly each man had his own moral, two men had two different morals and ten men had ten different morals -- the more people the more different notions. And everybody approved of his own moral and disapproved the views of others, and so arose mutual disapproval among men. As a result, father and son and elder and younger brothers became enemies and were estranged from each other, since they were unable to reach any agreement. Everybody worked for the disadvantage of the others with water, fire, and poison. Surplus energy was not spent for mutual aid; surplus goods were allowed to rot without sharing; excellent teachings (Dao) were kept secret and not revealed." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_of_natureThat's a hypothetical that doesn't account for the evolution of cooperation.

OMG, I just woke up and surprised to see that the topic of guns is still running smooth in here. We might have to change the title to "Guns Observer USA" if more of this continues. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Let's just get back to the topic guys, to the bitcoin. America's supermarkets are full of tears. Let them vent. ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif)

Sure, we each have our own particular (or should I say peculiar) strategy involving (as it were) the laddering of buys and sells according to our own analysis of the risk/reward of said strategy at any given time. And sure, assuming a more Up than DOWN trend continues this should leave each of us with more bitcoins going down, and more dollars going uppy....

Bitcoin dominance now 41.7%, increasing daily. If this continues, Ethereum and many altcoins might get in further trouble. I'm guessing segwit is playing out a role here, I still don't expect bitcoin to get dominance of 60%+ again though.
Bitcoin seems to be stabilizing at $11,000, and looking bullish. I'd not be surprised if it surpasses $12,000 within the next 2 days.
Ethereum's only use case is vulnerable smart contracts with no use case. It is and always has been an exploding clown car. Your mileage may vary tho

Back in the day, a woman came in with a question, what was the foundation's attitude to fellatio. (pause) I'd like to tell you, I replied. Unfortunately I don't know what fellatio is. (pause) And so she showed me. (pause) Ever since, whenever anybody asks me about the foundation's attitude to fellatio (pause) I answer I'd like to tell them. Unfortunately... (applause)
