I do not think facilities should be the reason for this divide. It basically is an infrastructure issue that the SA cricket board should work out. In many south Asian countries, players still do not get the required facilities but they still make a difference. Again this is a problem with the board and its corruption. The board should ensure every race should be given the right infrastructure for training.

As far as decision of SA board is concerned about must including black players in the squad I fully support that decision. Majority of people in SA are black but when it comes to there national team we hardly see any black player there. I remember in 1996 and 1999 WC there was no black player seen in the team, which is a concern for a country where majority of people are black.

Since we have a separate thread for test matches, one day and T20, then what is the purpose of this thread.
I can see this thread was created in 2015 and is the oldest cricket thread created 6 years ago but now it's time that we lock it. Any opinion on this?

This is one of the oldest Cricket thread in gambling section, the other three threads are created after this one. You can lock this one but that will shift discussion here to other three threads. This thread only be reserved for general cricket discussions and not about three formats of cricket for which we have separate threads.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 10, 2021, 06:22:17 PM

This was in plan, but they were waiting for something, so it's happen in this T20 WC, and they have done these changes which are very good because now Kohli can play without any pressure and his performance can help Indian cricket team for having some better results. Rohit is also having some good experience in these both short formats, so hopefully now he will also be having good time as captain in coming T20 and ODI world cup.

With all new management and having coach like Dravid it is very good new era for Indian cricket which is going to start at very bad time when we have new wave of corona in South Africa, and they are travelling lest see what's happened for them here.

So it means now Rohit will play under the pressure of Captaincy? Any info about Ravi Shastri, is he completely fired from BCCI or still has some portfolio there? Man he is too good in commentary. I love to see him back on the commentary box. He and Late Tony Craig are my all time favorite. Cant wait to listen his commentary.

This is beauty of test cricket, first 2 days Australia was in command and suddenly third day we have England is some better position and if Root and Malan stay some more time than surely we are going to have very entertaining end of this first of The Ashes test. Right now partnership is already 159, and now they need some more time on crease for having good hand in this match which was slipping very badly after two days play.

Currently, England trailing by 58 runs with 8 wickets in hand and two set batsmen on crease mean very good fight back from them, and it's very good for rest of this series.
Nathan Lyon's wait for his 400th wicket is getting late now it's more than 11 months, he stuck on 399 and becoming fourth player in Australian test history with 400+ wickets.

Full credit goes to Root and Malan for lifting England up in the second innings but damage done by Australian bowlers in the first innings is huge. Though England looks good but I think they are still not in full command. Favorite for this game is still Australia unless England set target of 400 which right now looks not possible.

I can wish you good luck, the description of the project sounds interesting

I too have same feelings for this project, its quite a good one if you read complete description of this project. I was amazed to see that such problems exists in crypto and till date no one realized that solution for such problems must be given. The impact area of this project is huge and we will see it once we see the project coming out.
1266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MASS] Decentralized HARD DRIVE mining cryptocurrency | PoC | Low Energy cost on: December 06, 2021, 04:22:46 PM
If you see stats of MASS then it clearly says that this coin is here to stay. With market cap of 15 million USD and daily volume of 3 million USD I think its good to buy MASS at current price of 0.15$. Its better to buy this coin rather mining it. You will get more profit if you buy dont put your computers for mining.

Price of MASS today is 0.11 USD and almost same volume was observed today also. Despite no new updates about this project we are seeing huge activities in this project. Its defiantly a buy call, if you have faith in this coin then don't miss the opportunity to buy it at current price. "Buy when everyone fears to buy".

You cant get better price then that for MASS to buy, its on one year lowest. Still today turn over was over 2 million. I am very much sure this will go up from here, I am accumulating this coin for future bull run. Its better to buy this coin now then to mine it. Just go and get it at current price else you will regret the moment.
1267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are options to mine a profitable crypto on my computer. on: December 06, 2021, 04:19:16 PM

Still if you have huge storage capacity that is lying idle then its good idea to use it for mining rather then waste it. I learned that you can mine MASS while using your computer, that means you don't need to dedicate your computer for mining purpose. Earning few bucks by not doing anything is not a bad deal.

Thats a win win sitaution for miners. Usually in data centers most of storage space is lying useless and can be used by data centers to mine coins like MASS. They will get something from this unused storage devices. If you have mined MASS before it got its boom then you are a real winner. Still you can give it a try.

Good option to earn when crypto gets bearish is to do staking and mining. You can get good reward from that and you dont need to be super rich these days. You have to find crypto like MASS that can be mined on your HDDs. Thats how you can turn your storage devices profitable. Just need to be wise while making decision.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: December 06, 2021, 04:13:05 PM
Market is taking correction and alts are also going down with BTC. But good or bad thing about boom is that its not affected by price volatility. Seems its like a gambling, you buy BOOM and then keep on waiting for it to go up. You need to be lucky to buy at right time else you have to wait a lot to get your money back.
1269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Is HODL the only strategy? on: December 06, 2021, 08:34:14 AM
You can actually do Bitcoin with several strategies. But the most effective strategy and generate large profits is to hold. Indeed, holding it takes a long time so you have to control your emotions well. But that doesn't mean it takes a long time so you don't check the market condition regularly, you just have to keep an eye on market developments. Hold is not the wrong decision, this can actually benefit you but it just takes time.

HODL is tested and right strategy for earning profits with Bitcoin. The only reason why its not liked is because it take time but it guarantees good return. The difference b/w Trading and Hodling is that in trading you win occasionally but lose mostly while opposite is the case with HODLing. I always lose in trading that's why I don't like it
1270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my Bitcoin when I die? on: December 06, 2021, 08:29:08 AM
Losing coins for ever is not bad as the supply decreases a bit! So, the value of the circulating supply tends to increase! Cheesy

But yeah, that's pretty much it. If no one have your PKs, then those are no one's coins!

This issue is as old as hills. Don't know how many times people have asked this question. Such questions must be pinned here. You have given a valid point that such lost coins are removed from circulation and that may result in increase in value of BTC. We all must pass our credentials to our loved once, so none of our hard work went in vain.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 05, 2021, 10:41:41 AM

That's not the point, this is about the new variant which is creating havoc in South Africa. The only thing we know it is very easily transferrable than the previous variant. We also do not know how effective are vaccines with this variant. If these things are considered then I also feel this series might get cancelled.

My friend when ipl was taking place in India almost 50k people were dying each day still nobody was bothered about that and you are supporting that point. It was postponed when voices from inside India rose up. That variant was also very deadly but everyone cares about money more then covid.
1272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 05, 2021, 08:08:28 AM
Recently we have very few draws because now after introduction of short formats now mostly batsmen playing some quick cricket and having better results, so this all is useless that we need Duckworth Lewis or anything others related to this please chill and enjoy second test which is completely controlled by India, and they will win in just three days.

Test matches these days always have a result these days and the main reason for this is T20. Most of the time players are busy playing T20 cricket and same form is carried in Test also. Test draw also has its own essence, see the first test which ends in a draw. It's a sort of victory for NZ.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 05, 2021, 06:12:26 AM
I was looking for betting odds for Ashes and found this on Telegraph
Quote
Australia to win @ 1/3 with bet365
Draw @ 7/1 with bet365
England to win @ 9/2 with bet365

According to Telegraph Australia are favorites because of there bowlers Fast bowler Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazelwood and Lyon. Has anyone come across betting odds for Ashes 2021?
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: December 05, 2021, 06:04:52 AM

The T10 scene is completely dominated by West Indian players. Deccan Gladiators made a massive 159/0 in 10 overs. And not just Andre Russell, but Tom Kohler-Cadmore also contributed to the total. Ravi Rampaul and Dwayne Bravo are regarded by many as the best bowlers in T10 format. And these two went for 70 runs from their combined 4 overs. It was a completely one-sided match. For Delhi Bulls, only Chandrapaul Hemraj was able to make a score of more than 15. Tymal Mills had figures of 2-0-4-2 in a T10 match. Can you believe that?

Yes Indies players are doing very well in leagues but same is not seen in there national team which is a big concern. Tymal Mills performance will defiantly help him getting sport in English team. T10 is biggest league after IPL IMO, you see players and teams from all around the world. Russell and Tom were unstoppable yesterday thats y Ravi and Bravo were helpless.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 05, 2021, 05:58:13 AM

Maybe South Africa, but definitely not Pakistan. I know how crazy Pakistanis are for cricket (same with Sri Lanka as well). It is the most popular sport, and that too by a big margin. Now they have established the PSL and it is attracting new fans as well. There is concern regarding the refusal of various teams to tour Pakistan, but that is applicable to all the sports and not just cricket. But I agree with you on South Africa. Rugby and Football are far more popular there, especially among the black population. On top of that, dozens of good players emigrate every year, to England, New Zealand, Australia and even to associate nations.

If countries continue to refuse to tour Pakistan as they are doing right now, I am sure Pakistanis will lose interest in cricket. You can see interest of Pakistanis in cricket from crowd in any match, not many come to see cricket in grounds. PSL is also not a success as most of international players are not coming to play in Pakistan.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 05, 2021, 05:52:26 AM
I don't think that India will be able to tour South Africa. The COVID cases are exploding there and yesterday they reported more than 16,000 cases. One week ago, this was in the 2,000-3,000 range. Omicron is destroying South Africa, and I am sure that the situation will get worse in the coming days. I don't know what was Jay Shah smoking when he announced the tour. Even if the tour goes ahead as planned, many of the senior players are going to pull out. And no sporting activity is happening in RSA right now. Everything is stopped.

If whole world can play IPL when India is under severely affected by covid and daily deaths were in thousands then why can't India tour SA. They can play cricket there under the bio-bubble, fair enough ? But since SA is not a member of big 3 so we won't see any favour for them.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CATA]Flow | NFT | Metaverse | Decentralized Cloud Storage on: December 04, 2021, 06:44:10 PM
I have a question that is there any other platform that is offering similar type of solution that is offered by CATA or you are the first one to offer such solution. If you are the unique one then you have better opportunity to have moon short earlier in your life cycle, as you dont find any competitor.
1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC halving party is over, MASS PoC takes you back to ten years ago on: December 04, 2021, 06:39:59 PM
MASS will defiantly take you 10 years back if you invest in this coin at current price and accumulate it in good quantity. its price is ideal right now and if you see its price pattern then one clearly judge that it will go up from here. DYOR and share your thoughts on what you think about buying MASS now.
1279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MASS is profitable and Cheap to mine ... Here is why? on: December 04, 2021, 06:37:17 PM
MASS is bleeding heavily with today's BTC dip. See the 24 hrs volume, its around 3.7 million USD. This means that whales are buying it secretly and silently. Better invest in this coin by buying it, I dont think its good to mine this coin as price is too low now. You can get good quantity of coins if you have some bucks.
1280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOOM - First Self-Burning Cryptocurrency Based on Smart Contract on: December 04, 2021, 06:33:34 PM
Spare some cash for coins that are  still at discounted price. Seems like BTC is going down so we will see alt coins bleeding heavily with that dip. Try to buy your alt coin at that time. I have some cash reserve for BOOM but will but it at my target price not at current price. I am hopeful I will see my price very soon.
