1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO] SETHER - Social Nework integration for smart contract developers on: March 13, 2018, 10:22:04 AM
Do you guys think the launch of SETHER 1.0 / 2.0 / 3.0 in April and May will have a positive effect on the price? Or do you think that's too soon? It looks like the price has been relatively stable over the last couple of days, so let's hope it won't go down any further.
1262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES | Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform | SMART CONTRACTS COMING! on: March 13, 2018, 10:06:25 AM
I think a great project on the WAVES platform is RewardMob, a mobile eSports platform powered by WAVES. I did some translation work for them and liked the concept. They start a ticket sale today and you get RewardMob (RMOB) tokens as a bonus. For more information about the project visit their website: https://rewardmob.com/

Does anybody know if there is a white paper for XSPEC and where to find it? I can't seem to find it on their website.

I think we will see the price of deeponion increase only after the end of the airdrop. At the moment the best solution is hold and possibly buy more onion. This only my opinion

I agree that the real increase will only happen after the end of the airdrop, but do you guys think the price will drop any further in the coming weeks? Of course the actual price in USD depends on the price of BTC as well, but if you look at the price of ONION in BTC, do you think it will go any lower than the current 21000 Satoshis?
1265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🔵🔵 OYSTER 🔵🔵 Anonymous Storage Generates Revenue for Websites on: March 13, 2018, 09:34:05 AM
I am very uninformed about the airdrop made by oyster.
can i know how to get airdrop for oyster?

You can find some more information about the airdrop here: https://medium.com/oysterprotocol/shell-shl-update-and-new-hires-87978ad687a9

Make sure to keep your PRLs in a personal wallet like MEW on April 6th when the snapshot will be taken. I think it hasn't been confirmed yet if KuCoin will support the airdrop.
1266  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: paar vragen mbt belasting on: March 13, 2018, 09:25:16 AM

Before we talk of exchange can we help other members like me on how to sync their litecoincash wallet, it will take me a year or two before I can finally sync my wallet, by then this coin is dead I am stuck to 6 years to go since day one.

Download bootstrap.dat from the Litecoin Cash website, unzip and put it in data dir, when sync is finished you can delete it.

Name a text file litecoincash.conf, insert the following and copy it to data dir.

Code:
addnode=91.128.161.204
addnode=73.232.159.131
addnode=69.123.49.160
addnode=178.200.236.205
addnode=66.69.246.134
addnode=192.30.85.23
addnode=37.14.134.175
addnode=195.68.203.237
addnode=189.216.159.2
addnode=209.205.125.118
addnode=76.97.160.198
addnode=71.197.52.238

You'll be able to sync your node in a few hours.

Thanks for the info, but where do I find the data directory? I'm working on a MacBook and according to litecoinca.sh I should put it in ~/Library/Application Support/litecoincash. But in the folder /Application Support there is no folder /litecoincash. I did use the default installation. A search command for 'litecoincash' doesn't give me any results. Hope you can help me out. Thanks a lot!

1. Open litecoincash qt wallet then quit it
2. In Finder go to Menu > G0 > Go To Folder
3 Paste in      ~/Library/Application Support
4. Scroll down to liteconcash folder

I'm sorry for my ignorance, but is the qt wallet the same as LitecoinCash Core? That's the one I'm using (I downloaded it from litecoinca.sh). Thanks again!

no problem. Took me ages to figure it out. Yes its the same thing. If your wallet is unresponsive after syncing just quit it and open it again, it will sync again then be fine.

No massive hurry cos no exchanges are taking lcc deposits yet.

Thanks a lot for your help. I managed to find the data directory and copied both the bootstrap file and the text file you mentioned. Then I opened the wallet and it started to sync. Had to quit and reopen the wallet once or twice, but after that it was up to date.

1276  Local / Alt Coins (Nederlands) / Re: Beste bounty programma's on: February 19, 2018, 11:40:44 PM
Alvast bedankt!
1277  Local / Alt Coins (Nederlands) / Re: Litecoin CASH (LCC) in opkomst, wat is jullie mening hierover? on: February 18, 2018, 10:22:51 AM
Wat is jullie mening over Litecoin Cash? Is het een scam?   Roll Eyes

1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: February 17, 2018, 09:47:47 PM
What wallet will you move your LTC to, to collect the LCC?   I have my LTC in the Ledger Nano S.  Thanks.

Both my standard and temporary LTC wallet are Electrum-LTC wallets. My LTC coins are in the temporary wallet now and after the fork I move them back to my standard wallet. I’m very curious whether Litecoin Cash will be worth something or not.. I guess it won’t be much.
1279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: February 17, 2018, 09:00:58 AM
last time i try to get bitcoin cash, i actually invested 10+H if not 20, to get few BTG, when i get it the price was 50% from its high, and the bit also lost ground, so for this reasons, i dont know if i will try to get this free coins, to risky, i actually need to give my computer to repair bcs of the bitcoin gold fork. I dont trust them, but to claim them i think its only exodos wallet apropriate and easy to claim it, and look for video on youtube how to claim free coins later on, i dont have the nervous to get this free coins. i rather sold all to fiat and close margins, and go to ski..lol
and after reading this: https://bitcoinist.com/charlie-lee-labels-litecoin-cash-scam/

no way this is smart, to give private key to someone elses wallet,...they must be kidding...lol

you would extract/dump your priv key, then after the fork move your coins to a new address that way all they would be getting is an empty private key that only proves that you held X amount of LTC at the forking block......there is no risk this way...if there is a risk in this method someone please correct me!

As far as I know there is no risk if you first move your coins to another wallet. As long as you keep in mind that the wallet for which you hand over your private key is forever compromised. I created a temporary wallet and transferred  my coins to this wallet. After the fork I transfer my coins back to my normal wallet and use the private key of the temporary wallet to claim the Litecoin Cash coins. This costs me 0.002 LTC, so about 45 cents. I’m willing to pay that to keep my coins safe AND be able to claim my LCC coins.

Whether Litecoin Cash is a scam or not depends on your definition of a ‘scam’. We know LCC is not connected to LTC, but we don’t know if they are trying to rip you off. I think they are just using the name for promotional purposes and are not trying to scam LTC owners. But I can understand Lee not being happy about the use of the name. I’m actually surprised that this is legal. I know that it has happened several times before with Bitcoin. Do trademark laws not apply in the crypto world?

My favorite projects are:
1. Oyster
2. Deep Onion
3. Spectrecoin
Although they are all down from their ATHs at the moment, I think they have great growth potential.
