I see that a lot of you already submitted your answers and chose not to wait for the first two tennis games to finish. First I wanted to wait but I have no idea how lower ranked players play so I also decided not to wait.
For tennis it's not that significant - it's the group stage and I expect both French players to ultimately progress from it to the SF's. I'm still waiting for some snooker results though. That one is tricky, especially in the lower part of the draw. Still - waiting won't help much - the hardest part to choose from is being played after the deadline. I'd say good luck to you, but hell no. Scrap decency, I need the points badly. |

I changed my picks in Pot B 4 times already. Finally submitted, but not what I initially thought I'd be doing.
There's a game I wanted to place all 10 stakes on, I still feel it would have been the best option.
I'm curious to see what Hhampuz did and how defensively he'll approach it now. If I keep my weekly average, I'll be close for sure.

I finally wildcarded, I like how my team looks now. Not sure that getting rid of Watkins was a good choice, but it had to be done to accommodate Haaland.
City's going into a nice run of games, it's getting too dangerous not to have him at this point of the season. I took Darwin as well - I have a feeling he's gonna frustrate me a lot in the next few weeks.
Still - an easy LFC fixture list makes it a no-brainer.
Who to captain is the difficult choice now. Having Haaland and not captaining him is crazy, but Salah's a better choice for this GW for sure.

To kažeš kao jedan manager drugom, ali ne znaš situaciju s drugim kampanjama, a više kampanja znači i više problema  Radije ne bih uzeo kampanju nego imao situaciju u kojoj sam 2 tjedna dužan isplatu. Kužim da je svima u interesu zaraditi - ali mislim da nije fer prema članovima koji su unutra. A pošto sve skupa imamo par ljudi koji vode kampanje, svi ovi koji čekaju isplate se zapravo neće buniti jer si time zatvaraju vrata u budućim kampanjama kod tog menadžera. Ne kažem da je lako voditi kampanje, nije, ali recimo mi u LC-u uvijek imamo za 2-3 tjedna viška. U Slottyju smo imali sve na escrowu i platili smo ljudima 3 mjeseca iako je kampanja trajala 2. Nekako očekuješ da te stvari imaju pozitivan učinak, al zapravo nemaju. Konkretno od tog poteza ni Trust ratinga ni dodatnog posla, ništa. A moglo se dogoditi da se zamjerimo klijentu, međutim sreća je da smo radili sa Srkijem koji je stvarno korektan lik. Mi bi to napravili i da je klijent bio neki seronja, al što dobiješ? Sebi natovariš probleme a forum to ni ne prepozna. Bitno je samo kolko toga imaš pod kontrolom i koliko usta hraniš, makar im bacao otpadke - al ne treba čuditi, tako je svugdje. Da se razumijemo - ovo je neki generalni overview. Kao menadžer menadžeru, sviđa mi se kod icopressa i s moje strane ima pohvale za rad. |

Ovo nije loš sistem, ne napisati koliko ljudi tražiš. Vidiš tko se prijavi pa temeljem toga doneseš odluku koliko zapravo uzimaš Neću mijenjati, nije puno bolja lova a zadovoljan sam kod icopressa. Ne sviđa mi se recimo da Sinbad ide i dalje iako ljudi nisu plaćeni 2 tjedna, te stvari nisu fer. Escrow ima 0.5 BTC-a, al to može biti 2 mjeseca ali i tjedan dana - ovisi o tome koliko se ljudi prima. |

Why don't you make some transfers and remove all those injured players? Estupinan and Stones must go, -4 for transfers isn't that bad if you need to make a change in situations like this. I went even -12 almost every season when squad needed that mini wildcard. Good thing with all those injuries you will at least get 5 points from Semenyo.
I waited to use the wildcard after the City-LFC game. Call me stupid, but I hate getting penalty points. I'm changing my team now, I hope I won't feel sorry for getting rid of Watkins. Villa's got a horrible run of games coming. BTW - I had a team in place in which I keep Saka - didn't click Submit yesterday, Palmer's price rose by 0.1 so no Saka anymore. This game is so punishing sometimes. |

Today isn't the I'm going to lose to a newly controversially promoted side How does if feel to have conceded that goal late into the game ? for me I switched my TV from Arsenal to watch Napoli while they were ahead, but after that equalizer, I was livid and tuned it backed to Arsenal vs Brentford (though, it's the most boring of all English Premier League matches played today), but with a notification of Napoli's goal on my phone, I had to watch the last 15 minutes with anxiety and my dignity on the line GG mate, nice try with the come back and the lead that lasted for about 20 minutes right ? Damn, hard to lose like this, again. I felt Napoli wouldn't score, but a silly mistake granted you the points. I'm collecting correct answers, and my strategy is not that bad. It's actually amazing I'm bottom of the table. Honestly, I don't even recall being in the lead anymore. Really a frustrating season, but I'm confident I'll stay in the big leagues. |

I play with 3 defenders and 3 out of 5 I've got are injured. White is on the bench, I hoped at least he'd be playing.
That means I play with 10 again - the same as last round.
Not sure what the points average is this round, but I'm surely gonna be well below it. Would need a miracle from Son and Watkins to finish otherwise.

I was quite happy with Liverpool's performance today - a stupid, stupid goal but otherwise we did ok.
I did not expect Newcastle with so many injuries to walk over Chelsea - but Chelsea is a cointoss team this season. You never know what kind of performance they're gonna give.

Path C actually gives a decent chance to Luxembourg.
They showed way more than Georgia in their qualifiers and if they progress, anything can happen in 1 game.
Greece is the big favorite of the whole Pot C, but having Luxembourg at the Euros would be fun. And, well, really bizarre at the same time.

Statistically, Monaco does score 2 goals on average. However - I expected a closer game with less goals overall and therefore went below their average. With 2 goals behind and 4 different answers until the end, doesn't look good for me once again. Especially since the City-Liverpool question is a hard one to guess correctly. I'm looking forward to that game, if Salah scores I get another red in BSFL but he's my captain in fantasy. Not sure what I'd prefer at this point in time |

I feel it's going to be Italy in the final. Đoković is a favorite against Sinner but Musetti should be beating Kecmanović.
Doubles are where I think it will be settled, and although Đoković is playing I do feel the advantage is with Bolelli/Sonego.
Whoever wins here should be a favorite against the Australians.

But @Trofo and @cryptofrka, aren't the rules good when you knock somebody out after the person failed to submit results three times? Unless someone comes out and announces that there is some serious issue/illness, it should just be disqualification and period.
As I have failed to submit on time once, I know that there can be circumstances involving health issues from either yourself or someone close to you, but getting three passes on failed submissions is certainly enough. The problem is that you have all the work to do to update things when after 10 rounds someone failed to submit for the third time, which I think an upfront paid fee could be good for.
I don't know what others think, but if we include a rule that says something like: if somebody fails to pay the fine for not submitting three times, negative trust on the account could be given for not living up to agreed upon terms. Once the payment is done, negative trust could be removed.
I fully understand the need for remedy here and developing the questions is enough work to do. Starting to update the tables every two weeks is annoying. I guess no suggestion to solve this will be perfect, but it might make people think before they submit their BSFL application.
Let's say it like this - the rules are good, but it isn't good for the competition. We need to find a middle ground - keep the competition fair and competitive, while offering something to the casuals as well. The problem with H2H competitions is that casuals can't be the majority, because it ruins the concept. I don't see us ever redtagging somebody in BSFL - after all, we're here to make virtual friends and have fun. We also want to keep the door open for new players, not scare them away with fees and penalties. We need to do a bit of both - keep you guys happy and engaged while maintaining high numbers for SB - and we already have some decent ideas we'll be implementing. |
