1261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One question nobody is asking... on: March 04, 2016, 03:47:57 PM
I think Google is working on this with the world wide blimp/weather balloon network they want to put in place.
it is ok to say that Bit coin needs safer internet connection to enable every one to use it any time they want but these days internet available every where in the world in offices at home even in smart phones so i don't think any one is without internet now so bit coin is just with all people since internet is not a big issue these days.
1262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: March 04, 2016, 03:41:59 PM

Yeah those 2 are totally different. Bitcoin needs a electricity and internet. Fiat can be used everywhere. Even in small villages. And best of all.
Everybody accepts fiat.

Everybody accepts everything, it's just a question of negotiating a price.

Also you can use paper bitcoins where there is no electricity and internet.

The difference is that when you bring them somewhere with internet, you can verify they are real.

With fiat, you can never verify it's real.  Because of course it isn't ever.

It depends on people's choice to select which currency they like. The people who don't know anything about bit coin as digital currency will prefer dollar in bit coin and on other hand people who know about bit coin will preferably choose bit coin on dollar so it depends on the awareness of bit coin only.
1263  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2016, 03:33:58 PM
Make them believe about the cryptocurrency. If they believe show the proof of income got through it. Show them various sites accepting bitcoin as payment. Now ask whether they are interested or not. If interested proceed to teach further else just drop it.

Woman like shopping. To get their attention it would be good to launch more fashion shops. Like you say acception bitcoin is shops is the first thing needed
for bitcoin to go mainstream.
the most important is the proof, let them see how much bitcoin you have, then buy something online (maybe t-shirt) and show her the process. she'll believe I think
Of course women will get motivated to use bitcoin only if they know its benefits and the best option is to make them realize how much shopping they can do through bit coins and inform them in brief the usage of digital currency like bit coin which might help them to get motivation of using bit coins.
1264  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can You Help Me? How to earn bitcoins? without buying a bitcoin. on: March 04, 2016, 03:31:02 PM
You can find various option to earn bitcoin without buying. Few of which is often suggested are gambling, signature campaign, faucets, trading.
Other better options to earn bitcoin is to get freelance jobs from the services section of our bitcointalk forum.
I do agree that many ways such as faucets or signature campaign which can be applicable to earn bit coins but it is not possible it seems without buying a bitcoin since it would take lot of efforts and hard work to earn such high value of being able to get a bit coin.
1265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: March 04, 2016, 02:40:17 PM
Banks will always be on top and that would be the primary option of the people, many people will start using bitcoin, but as a secondary one, as banks are also important for business transactions.
Yes, bitcoin will provide alternative banking facility to all the people within their computer or mobile. When you need not to visit your bank, I mean when there is no need to avail any services from your bank, banks will start to die.
It does not seem possible right now but we can expect in near future for such happy news since bit coin is in process of getting to know by the people more and more but being a digital currency it is taking time to get introduced by all around us. It has no atms like banks as well.
1266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: March 04, 2016, 02:37:18 PM
i personally just let them sit in my paper wallet. i heard about this site called magnr that pays u interest, but be carefull using it. dont put too much.
I would suggest to keep them idle and wait until you are able to get good profit on them and using websites to get paid off for your idle coins with interest does not look suitable and has less security i guess. Better wait and see and hopefully get good profit so let them be idle for a while.
1267  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2016, 02:27:17 PM
My plans are not to get rich with Bitcoin. I just have a daily job and that is very good enough.
I hope later that more people will get some money from Bitcoin. I see Bitcoin as a bonus and I like it.
Exactly, and I strongly agree with your opinion. No no right to expect to be rich in bitcoin because I think just as an additional course so that we can earn extra money. Results of bitcoin is not bad and I also liked it.
I agree too. some people maybe have possibility to be rich because of bitcoin, but not all people.

but with bitcoin, we can get extra money to buy something else. I like this one
I can't say well about being rich with bit coin wince it looks quite difficult right now as bit coin price did not increase much in last several months to a good level but truly its a great plan to think and to try with effort to get rich by bit coins and it's efforts pays back.
1268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN HALVING IS COMING!!! on: February 27, 2016, 12:20:22 PM
Hi
Was the halving designed from the bigining or is an outcome of big and unsuspected interest inBTC?

Satoshi programmed it to half every 210,000 blocks.

Pretty genius actually. Now when people are getting more familiar with bitcoin, the halving will have an impressive effect I think.

I think the block reward scheme used by Monero or Bytecoin is better. It reduces the reward every day.
Every one is dreaming and talking about bit coin halving in 2016 but no one can predict when and how it will start and bring smiles on all people's faces but for sure bit coin halving will appear very soon and start increasing after that no matter what's the limit.
1269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: February 27, 2016, 12:16:32 PM
I hope oneday someone send thousands bitcoin to wrong address. And the wrong address is mine. Just simply dream like that. And i will giving away 100btc in this forum  Cool
This kind of dreams mostly don't come true since being positive and have positive wise, you dream to be rich with bit coins halving and same way your dreams will start coming true and I am sure this dream will come true for all of us very soon.
1270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 27, 2016, 12:10:42 PM
There is no any rocket science behind growing of bit coins since it can be purchased or exchanged online as well as it can be purchased on lower prices and sold out when prices go higher or else can be interchanged to other signature campaigns as well.
1271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: February 27, 2016, 12:08:40 PM
Of course real money. no matter if bitcoin is not acceptable in a certain area. If a community has received bitcoin as money, of course it is real money
With the passage of time and advancement in people's thinking, it will prove to be same as real currency but some how in recent its hard to say or compare bit coin with real currency. You cant buy with this in a shopping mall or some where even in states.
1272  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: February 27, 2016, 11:50:19 AM
I really have a good feeling about 2016 as well. But I don't think Bitcoin will go mainstream this year.

Yeah, it will take long time for bitcoin to get on mainstream, as it is not that popular yet, but the price of bitcoin will surely reach to a new level in the year 2016.

Correct, and the best thing is we are also expecting halving in the month of july so it can surely add some value to bitcoins, as it is predicted that bitcoin will achieve some new heights this year.
Every one is saying the same thing that 2016 is year of bit coin and I do myself hope for the best for halving of bit coins. Only one thing to be added further is that bit coin would reach its destiny earlier in case of large number of people get awareness about it.
1273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how the development of bitcoin in your country? on: February 27, 2016, 11:47:43 AM
In Brazil some people/stores are utilizing Bitcoin, but as 99% of population don't even know what it is, it's not so developed/cool as it is in i.e in North America.

The fact that the official currency is rotten, the cost of living and taxes are extremely high, people don't give a damn to BTC because they need fiat to eat , to pay water and electricity bills first... then, when the money is resting in your bank account, some minority spend it buying some coins or start mining (almost nobody).
I have no problem with bit coins in USA but only problem is that is not very well known by large number of people as it should have been acknowledged for its benefits. other than that every thing is fine with bit coins so far here.
1274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm trying to create a 100% Bitcoin powered music career. Any tips? on: February 27, 2016, 11:44:15 AM
I'm an admitted amateur asking for advice to begin. I'm laying the groundwork now to build upon as my skill grows. I am not announcing myself to the world as 'ready to go'.

You're also wrong. Every sound you hear is representative of me playing a MIDI controller. I don't use FL, I use Mixcraft. I craft my own loops.

Thanks for being my first hater! I hear that's a good thing?

To clarify, I'm asking for advice specifically here specifically about future monetization with Bitcoin. I'm down with constructive critiques, but misunderstanding what you hear and telling me to go listen to music is not that.
Its better to open up your web page and upload your music there. If its really interesting and people will enjoy it then you must expect the best out of it and same way you can add some link for btc users to reward you some points for encouragement. what else you need ?
1275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does the bible say about Bitcoin? on: February 27, 2016, 11:37:56 AM
The Bible says nothing about Bitcoin. It would be a hell of a lot more impressive if it did.

LOL nothing in this thread will ever top this.
Bible never said anything like that and nothing about bit coins either. But keeping in view of today's fast life and needs of human beings, bit coin seems to be a comfortable option as well as blessing for human being by Jesus Christ for better and safer earning.
1276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin wallet with face recognition ? on: February 27, 2016, 11:33:47 AM
It will be annoying as hell.Image every now and then you have to verify your face ,which takes minimum of 30-50 seconds. Not a good option when they are highly secure options like 2FA or one time codes which expire in the span of few seconds.Finger prints would still be a better option if its as accurate as the Iphone lock.

It looks quite strange and unbelievable that bit coin would adopt such technology but its good in favor of its users to avoid any duplicity and for more better security. Lets hope this would work same like finger print scanning or stuff like that earlier being used.
1277  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long is Bitcoin life? on: February 27, 2016, 07:46:28 AM
it's backed by miners and merchants, miners can drive the price up to make their minign activity profitable

since there is no real competitor to bitcoin(no altcoin are not competitor they ar eonly an alternative) i can assume that it will live forever, as long as the value will make the mining activity profitable
I don't think that it is quite predictable about Bit coin life since it is digital currency working for several years successfully and with the demand its price goes higher and attracts more people to join it every day. Besides under current scenario it seems to be going forever with sustainable strength.
1278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: February 27, 2016, 07:32:09 AM
I'm from The Netherlands and most people around me think they are too late to join the party and that all the gains have been made already.
Next, they keep asking me how it is doing when the price was dropping down from 1200, and after that they never mention it anymore.
I have the same problem like some other friends that I checked with my doctor friend in Texas and he seemed to be laughing about bit coins and said he does not believe on digital currencies at the moment and I was surprised that he, being computer and internet literate has no idea about bit coins.
1279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 27, 2016, 07:15:48 AM
You must take security precautions! Hold your coins in multiple wallets its is best solution.
 Blockchain,Multibit..
Also one good amount will be good to be stored in cold wallet!
Always use good strong password and change it periodically!
I do agree with the friends who periodically change the passwords and keep changing it on with strong new password. Besides, as security precautions, we can try the coins in multiple wallets like Multi bit or Block chain etc.
1280  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: February 27, 2016, 07:11:57 AM
I wish i could buy a big house or apartment for my family, because until now my family don't have a house, we only rent it. And it's really expensive.
I want to buy every thing with bitcoin same like my local currency and wish this come true soon that in all minimarts we find the same poster "Bitcoins accepted here" that would be wow and then I will shop veery thing I need.
