Currently price around 4,5k - 5k from the history, shows support at this level, so this is ideal time to get some SNGLS. SNGLS have to be in your wallet in the time rewards are issued, otherwise you cannot claim the ETH rewards. We start seeing those ETH rewards distributed to SNGLS holders from day 1, when the modules/apps are launched. Late summer.. So from history if you see there's all time high around 12k, and the apps/plarform has not even launched yet and started to generate revenue... |

Yes, It certainly is. Considering ETH is x20 since the ICO it could be quite a decent sum returned. Pure speculation: They wanted $7.5M. The ETH raised would be worth around $150M today. Some must have been sold at a lower price to cover expenses, and they increased their staff and the project scope. That could still leave up to $100M or $0.10/SNGLS to be returned to SNGLS holders. The actual amount will likely be lower but at the current price it would still be a significant amount. the ETH launch rewards I think will come from that sum, don't know how much. but every sum after that will come from the platform itself, from generated token sale fees, token exchange fees, ethervision, etc, little things and this is done via smartcontracts, so it's never ending revenue stream for SNGLS token holders.. Is there an official statement of how to retrieve ETH rewards? Get on the slack, the latest info is there. When the apps have not yet launched.. |

"We went through a massive growth spurt from April - June up to 47 employees, 35% which are devs. So lots of internal transitioning. Plus, various people have been rotating vacation times. We also knew the summer was going to be a major correction of crypto value and didn't want to spend energy and resources marketing/updating into this correction/summer void. The updates would be all the same... the apps are coming, the apps are coming, hurry up and wait for the apps to come. This summer has seen significant progress on our documentary and the sci-fi series though, which has been great. Plus, a couple more modules have been outlined beyond the 11 and even another application that we haven't yet publicly announced is nearing the end of development and will be released with Tokit and LaunchPad. We'll start to get more vocal mid August. I should probably do a few video updates until then, like we did back in Feb and March."

There was some new info to me that ethervision would be like amazon, you could buy physical things with it, among the currently advertised films,tv,music. And tokenize for example a book not just an ebook but a physical things. And there would be revenue sharing with SNGLS holders! |

From the slack today, current progress update: Zach told us: We must do some ETH reward testing before we launch our applications to make sure that the ETH community has the time to implement the necessary reward functionality in their exchanges and wallets. It's a straightforward process for everyone to implement. They’ll need to do it eventually anyway because the future of tokens is all about functionality coins don’t/can’t possess. We're looking to start implement testing soon and will be announcing it before we do.We'll probably ask everyone to transfer their SNGLS into the various wallet options that already support the reward withdraw functionality to lessen customer support issues for the exchanges and wallets that don't have the reward function implemented yet. I dont think it works yet, as there is no issued rewards yet, but at the modules launch there is for SNGLS holders.
SNGLS price has started to recover, now is a good time to get some into the bag...
There been rewards issued. A small amount was issued as part of the demo with the content creators. In the SingularDTV wallet you can see your reward. Thank you for correcting. |

Here is some more info on the rewards, from SingularDTV slack channel:
One function of the many embeded in the SNGLS Smart Contract System is the “Reward Distribution”
The SingularDTV SCS (smart contract system), has this reward functionality built-in. The reward smart contract acts like a bucket. Each time a reward (ETH) is added to it, addresses holding SNGLS at that time, can withdraw their reward proportional to the % of tokens they hold. For example, if you hold 1 000 000 SNGLS in a wallet which is 0.1% of the total amount of SNGLS in existence, you'll receive 0.1% of the total amount of ETH distributed in the Reward Contract.
If you transfer your SNGLS after the reward has been issued, you can still withdraw your reward by sending a tx to the reward smart contract, calling the withdraw function from the original address. It keeps track of who is eligible for the rewards even after the transfer happens. That means as long as you have access to the wallet, or the private key of the wallet that holds your, you can benefit from the rewards. If you don't withdraw the rewards and transfer your SNGLS, you can still withdraw your reward eligible for you, from the time you had your SNGLS up until the transfer.

Holders get the rewards from the start..
How does this work? I think, for example with myetherwallet you just invoke the "collectrewards (cant remember if this was the correct name for the function)" function from the ether address that is holding the SNGLS. Same goes for collecting the rewards in the future also, that accumulates to your address holding the SNGLS. Where is this function "collectrewards"? Using the SingularDTV wallet there is a simple button for it. On MEW go to contracts Select existing contract - SingularDTV Then choose the withdraw revenue function.
