1261  Economy / Economics / Re: Printing of money doesn't make a country rich but to diversify like a person on: October 27, 2022, 03:44:08 PM
It's very clear that excessive printing of money my a country doesn't solve their financial and economic problems. I don't know how correct I am but I think there is a standard amount of money a country can print and it should be in line with the economic situation of the country and their GDP .

But this isn't to say that some countries don't mess around with such fantasy, a country once reached their money print limit to fight inflation all this just did was cause over flow of money rendering their currency worthless and could be found even littered on the streets.

My own country currency is falling at a disturbing rate but what the government can do is try to change the note of the currency being printed, this would not solve any economic or financial issues too.
1262  Economy / Speculation / Re: My advice to you regarding bear markets. on: October 26, 2022, 08:29:56 PM

Keep accumulating crypto and you will reap the rewards in the future!

Is this a financial advice? I personally think it should not be, because this is part of the reasons we have many people running away from crypto-currency claiming that it's a scam or a financial trap that only extort them of their capital.
I don't tell people to accumulate crypto-currency all because they want fast earning or they want to get faster and better returns on investment.
Rather I advice then to accumulate more Bitcoin because it has more potential in terms of helping with all of the financial issues that has come to be a tradition using Fiat.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 26, 2022, 07:08:46 PM
Inter Milan had a comfortable win against Victoria pizan and this mean and this is a bad news for Barcelona and especially when they are facing Bayern Munich. Xavi men had alot of chances to be comfortable for the next round of the UEFA champions league.

I still think Barcelona have to focus on their encounter against Bayern Munich tonight because anything less than a win would mean they would have to exit the UEFA champions league for the Europa League and a win would Really boast their confidence in the incoming games.
1264  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MY JOURNEY SO FAR on: October 25, 2022, 06:30:32 PM
First off I see it means a lot to you so congratulations but then I think consistency is what you should be focusing more on right now. It's a bit early to talk about your journey so far, it's not a rule not to but there are distractions and complacency it may bring in.

You have moved up in rank that's good but see this as it's actually possible for you to rise and then set more targets and standards for your self, lay out plans to meet the goals, you see you do have a lot on your hand to feel relaxed. GOOD LUCK.

1266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Censorship be the end of the Ethereum Network? on: October 23, 2022, 08:14:23 PM
Even before the censorship issues, many people only use the Ethereum network when it is absolutely necessary I think Ethereum are missing the main issues of target, I think this recent energy they are putting into other developments should be directed towards the transactions issues on their network, with so many options available now it's becoming a tougher competition for Ethereum.

No that Ethereum is the one Altcoin I would first hold if I had larger capital, it already has the history, solid team backing and popularity let's see if it would still have longevity.
1267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Almost 1/4 of Belgian employees are willing to receive crypto-salary on: October 23, 2022, 08:03:54 PM
It's understandable infact, since Bitcoin and crypto-currency isn't government owned or under governmental policies in some countries that hasn't restricted it, taking salaries in Bitcoin and Crypto-currency has great benefits especially in this global recession and inflation. It would be difficult for the value of Bitcoin to fall and remain their for a very long time, but some currency like the one of my nation quickly gets devalued and always take longer time to bounce back and some time it doesn't.
1268  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do the best out of what you can control on: October 23, 2022, 06:58:56 PM
I won't advice you to see the forum as another social media, yes see social media freaks do all they can to build their views and their accounts this isn't a bad vision to have but they only give content they get more following by just giving content and this is how the get earning.

As a newbie you are probably a novice and if you want to only be giving content at a time you may make embarrassing situations for your self as a newbie you don't only give content, you assimilate other peoples content and experience and unlike the content creators that are obsessed and impatient you need to be the opposite.
1269  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: October 22, 2022, 11:39:55 PM
While we focus on the forth coming general elections do we have to neglect the current situations of the country.
Who else is noticing that the major interest in the country right now is the general election.
Even though the country is going through
1. Flooding
2. Global recession
3. Naira currency inflation
4. Insecurities
5. Educational issues.

The main issues now has become election, how to we cope before the election, the present administration has always been lackluster in performing their duties but now it has even gotten worse.
1270  Economy / Economics / Re: We are facing a new recession ten years after the previous one... on: October 22, 2022, 10:07:54 PM
And more talks about the recession continues, this could probably be the worst recession in recent time but there are chances that it may even get worse in 2023.
The global finance is in shambles and I think the Corona virus pandemic many not be the sole reason but to put it plainly the finance of the globe has yet recovered full from its causes.

I think the currency measures put to tackle inflation and recession are becoming outdated and not effective so if they can integrate new measures one that hasn't yet been tried it might lead us somewhere.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 22, 2022, 08:55:29 PM
Real Madrid beats Barcelona in the last El Classico game, to go front, but are now about to drop points against Sevilla a team that hasn't really been impressed in the la liga, and before the el Classico Real Madrid had also dropped points against osasuna.
And expect for the loss against Real Madrid, Barcelona has picked up points in their game before that and the games after that, if you do the calculations that their are only two El Classico game in the la liga and the rest are with other stubborn team, if Barcelona continues to find a way to win them then I believe they would be champions.
1272  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Nigerian Leads the Crypto (Bitcoin)World in Africa on: October 22, 2022, 07:29:12 PM
Although I think the list line up is very much accurate but I still think the numbers of people that owns Crypto-currency in those countries was just from a rough estimate.
I can vividly say the amount of people that owns crypto-currency in Nigeria regardless of the amount is far more than 13 million.
In a country of over 200million and the most populated black nation Nigeria has hot boiling crypto-currency enthusiast that it's fast reaching out to people of illiterate background, old age , some aspect of online shopping.
It's time to start taking crypto-currency more seriously if you haven't yet. Those numbers on the list is set to multiply vigorously soon.
1273  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: October 21, 2022, 10:26:34 PM
Honestly a lot don Dey play out already between the top three presidential candidates so far, that we should take into account when selecting the next president.
For there was a meeting by the candidate in their local region and from the was they said, Atiku and Tinubu where all try to play the tribal cards by advising their local region to vote for them based on tribalism but Peter obi on the other hand was genuinely telling people from his local region to vote for competence rather than tribe.

Also Nigeria Dey go through flood issues that has displaced people and claimed lives only Peter obi saw it wise to put his campaign on hold while the pay visit to those who were affected by the flood.
1274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the US being too hard on crypto? on: October 21, 2022, 10:01:57 PM
I also heard the news of the proposal to ban Crypto-currency mining in Europe all this regulations are all planned attacks on Crypto-currency if you asked be. And ever since I joined crypto-currency I noticed that the government has been one of Crypto-currency biggest problem.

The US isn't really that hard compared to country such as mine that has already banned Crypto-currency related bank transfers but from experience in my country after the ban I have come to the conclusion that it's really not a policy that can stop crypto-currency popularity because those active that was banned still goes on.
1275  Economy / Economics / Re: government hampers the country's economy on: October 21, 2022, 07:58:55 PM
Well this is a broad statement and to an extent does not make it accurate. I am well aware the the government a major role players in a nations economy and Governmental policies are guidelines which can improve or depress The progress of a nation.
But we have developed countries, and developing countries (more realistically and no sugarcoating it called under developed countries)

It's not correct to think under developed countries their is absence of poor policies and corruption but it's not as severe in developing countries that suffers from corrupt government that lack reasonable policies, and are largely unpatriotic. That why economical growth is more depressed in such countries even if they have sufficient human and natural resources.
1276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining ban in Europe on: October 21, 2022, 07:25:46 PM
Of a certain this can affect the price of Bitcoin. As we all know Europe is a very big factor in terms of its global Crypto-currency activities, so a ban to mining mining in Europe would really cause a very noticeable reduction in mining and may also affect the transactions confirmation timing.

Although realistically I don't this it's possible to completely ban mining in Europe, it just an informal way to make mining even more expensive and cut out some miners. But this topic would raise eyebrows to the importance of having more energy efficient way of mining
1277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 20, 2022, 10:46:29 PM
And yet again Arsenal wins. It was not an easy game tonight in London against very impressive opponents PSV or Nederland and the game showed just that.
Although I see more believe in the style Arsenal plays and when a team starts to win each game regardless of how they win it this tends to build them to a more positive mentality. This was what Arteta always wanted from his players. No they have good points against the second position in the English premier league and the Europa league outing isn't going badly also, maybe the best season for Arsenal in a very long time.
1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mnemonic is no longer safe? on: October 20, 2022, 05:19:19 PM
Coin98 is actually a non custodian wallet, although never used it so I have depressed idea of how it work. But from my experiences I think to hack cases can happen without any loopholes created by the hackers victims (in this case your friend was the victim).

I don't know the popularity of coin98 and this just makes me wonder about its own safety too. I have used electrum for a while now and since I kept my mnemonic key/ seed phrase safe I really haven't had any issues I believe the security behind it is impenetrable except their are so vulnerable actions on my path.
1279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this possible? on: October 19, 2022, 08:08:16 PM
Hackers can practically do anything but one thing must be meet before they can be able to carry out their actions and that is there must be negligence, error or complete irresponsibility from the victims part.

Yes it's Likely that hackers can get hold of those very sensitive emotions and they have several ways of doing so. Personally I have seen many keyboard application dropping ads on social media some of this keyboard originated from scammers and have processes that may demand you giving it full permission. This could be how they can monitor and get assess to sensitive information
1280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Categories to check out before investing in a project on: October 19, 2022, 02:35:12 PM
Well we all may have our own cognitive perception about a project before joining in on it, and our thoughts about a good project may widely differ individually, my first key word is only trust Bitcoin in terms of Crypto-currency, but I have to join in on any project my watch out criteria is longevity, (I would rather be comfortable researching on a project that has stay long in the crypto-currency space) this leads to my second criteria and that's what its community like, ( a community satisfaction or irritation can tell a few things about the project in general). This two factor would be my priority then I would check out other factors.
