1261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffett Blasts Bitcoin as 'Gambling Token' as BTC Surges 35% in 30 Days on: April 13, 2023, 04:04:29 AM
35% in 30 days is still realistic, there are many stock or gold the price increase higher than 35% in 30 days. If he consider Bitcoin as a gambling token because of such return, any investment should be said as a gambling token too.

Bitcoin price never drop to $0 so I don't consider Bitcoin as a gambling token. I can say an asset or commodities can be said as a gambling token if the price can drop to $0 or get delisted in every exchanges.
1262  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: April 12, 2023, 07:02:41 AM
Often hoping to win a giveaway like that but it's not an easy thing to get because we have to compete with thousands of people because this type of giveaway that's done on social media will bring in a lot of participants compared to when it's held in forums where the rules are clear and there aren't as many participants as on Twitter or other social media.
It's just a fun giveaway, just like a free raffle in this forum. The requirement is only need to retweet which is very easy, just one click on your account.

Currently 429 users already retweet the post, so the winning chance is only 0.0023%

But to choose a casino that doesn't enforce KYC, gamblers still have to be careful and read all the casino reviews because there were several cases where at first the casino said that they didn't have KYC, but one day the gambler got a big win, the casino asked KYC for withdrawal requirements and this case a lot has happened.
Yep, this is a casino where they change their terms of service without let anyone know, the reason is to make the gambler can't withdraw his winnings. They can also abandon their casino if their casino still don't have any reputation, so there's nothing to lose and they can start a new one.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tilt in gambling on: April 12, 2023, 06:51:31 AM
I think if gambling causes you to tilt, damage things or people around you etc. You should better pause gambling. People don't seem to understand that gambling is something supposed to be funny and you should focus on that part even if you are losing. I know losses grow inside you so you get angry at times but tilting a machine won't help you cover your losses. I think gamers have sort of similar issue. Especially I saw posts mentioning team games like Dota 2. When you are tempered you should silence your anger.
Yeah it's just a proof if you're not able to control yourself, when we're gamble we need to think realistic and not aiming to make money, if we're only gamble to make more money, we will not satisfied in the end since we're high likely will lost. It doesn't mean if we not think to make money, we will make money through gambling, it's wrong. We're just want to kill our boredom and enjoy our gambling activity, profit is just a bonus.
1264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023? on: April 12, 2023, 06:34:38 AM
It depends.

If you're live in developed country like US, owning 1 Bitcoin will not make you rich because the yearly average salary in US is around $60K-$100K, owning 1 Bitcoin is only $30K where they can get it after work for at least 3-6 months.

If you're live in third world country, owning 1 Bitcoin will make you rich because the yearly average salary in there mostly around $6K, owning 1 Bitcoin is same like working for 5 years.
1265  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's a crypto/bitcoin scam that most people and newbies simply don't notice? on: April 12, 2023, 06:13:14 AM
Ponzi scheme and invest in shitcoins, usually people will aware after they got scammed in ponzi scheme, but it's really hard to stop people to invest in shitcoins because many newbies are trying to make quick money without think the risk. They think they can flip the shitcoins easily, but they're suffer huge lost and they can't sell it since the coins has been delisted from all exchanges.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: April 12, 2023, 06:06:32 AM
5x wagering requirements is insane, but they did mentioned in their terms of service, so you can't blame them even it looks unfair to you. This is the reason why all users need to read the bonus rules, if you've read the 5x wagering requirements you can ask them to lower it, if not you can just choose other casino which the rules is more friendly.

Welcome to scam casino. A lot of us have gone through that experience where users wouldn't really deposit anything if they just knew that the deposited amount is bound to lose.
This is the Trustdice representative account Coinbox1, you can leave them negative feedback if you think they're scam.
1267  Economy / Gambling / Re: Metaspins.com - Crypto casino - 100% Up To 1 Bitcoin On Your First Deposit on: April 11, 2023, 11:45:30 AM
This is not a gimmick strategic but a marketing strategy to bring in lots of players. Do you hope that the casino will provide bonuses as funds that can be withdrawn without carrying out gambling activities using these funds at all? Because the casino is not a HYIP program where you simply deposit money without doing anything and within a certain period you will get your deposit + profit back (but unfortunately it's always a scam).
If you are tempted by their promotion, read carefully every detail of the existing rules because the bonuses will not increase the chances of getting a profit. The wagering requirements often make players fail to fulfill them, especially if they play without understanding the type of game being played.
At least we know if he's not a gambler, it's funny to see a user which not a gambler but he create many posts in gambling section Cheesy

If he consider this marketing is a gimmick strategy which is somewhat we can say scam, he should leave negative feedback and create flag to almost all casinos in this forum Roll Eyes

It's true casino isn't a ponzi scheme where they offer HYIP program, even the casino offer investment bankroll program, there's no guarantee we will make profit because it depends on how lucky the gamblers.
1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rigged Game on: April 11, 2023, 11:37:52 AM
Testing their games is the first thing you could do. Don't put too much money on it and just see the winning rate. A 100 times bet should suffice to know if the game is rigged. Another way to know it is thru gossips. Check out their Telegram or Discord pages and see if there's a community that honestly tells what is happening inside the online casino. That way, you will avoid signing up or even deposit for the first time.
The internet is a large area, there's so many ways you could check it and I do believe there will one or two people that is ranting about it especially if they lose a lot of money.
Don't need to deposit, we can play with faucet because most of casino nowadays have their own faucet, just like Freebitco.in. This make you can able to gamble how many spins you want without need to worry if the game is rigged or no fair.

Yeah, don't forget to do your own research before gamble, check the casino reputation, check the provider reputation and check how many people are gamble on the game we're interested.
1269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto prices crash as threat of war looms on: April 11, 2023, 11:29:59 AM
How you can say it's a good thing to own Bitcoin during war? when it's happen, you will not think to become a rich person, but you will think how to move to the safe country, looking for a food, get a weapon, etc. Any currency will become worthless since it will not make them survive.

I don't think we will see world war III because most country in the current modern era are looking to make money, so it's a war on economy.
1270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 11, 2023, 09:23:47 AM
It's useless to have such certificate because there are few unlicensed casinos where you can gamble without need to worry about KYC and other verification, so an addict can still gamble in unlicensed casino because he don't have to submit a certificate. I'm not really sure if in the future the casino will implement this kind certificate in able to gamble in their casino, this will make people not favor to gamble due to many rules need to follow and this will decrease the traffic.
1271  Other / Meta / Re: Spammers and Burst Posters only on: April 11, 2023, 05:18:34 AM
I think difficult finding topic and getting source information for make posting on every 5 minutes, possibility some one have prepare it before and make posting every 5 minutes but has already source link for posting. But post on every 5 minutes will category as burst post and warning for participants joined with signature campaign will be disqualify.

Effective make post every one hour and have enough time preparing for second post and get source information how to use for second post, but depending with every one skill and if some one have possibility with smart think maybe they can get short time for preparing to second post.
I can't remember which one have 5 minutes gap every post, but I know there are many members have 10 minutes gap every post in this forum. If you think user who have 10 minutes gap is a burst poster and he should be kicked from the campaign, you're wrong because they're participating in the highest paid signature campaign and they never get kicked until the campaign end.

A user who post every one hour isn't always a good poster and a user who post every 5 minutes isn't always a bad poster.
1272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping Dealers on: April 10, 2023, 08:28:03 AM
Perhaps the online casinos could implement such tipping feature, when the player wins a big amount, he must have the option to tip the casino. I know it sounds ridiculous, but why not? Grin
It's true I've check most of casinos in this forum, but there's no donation address below the page. It's true there's nothing wrong for the casino to add it, but I think people who want to donate to the casino, they can bet on dice where the winning chance is just 1% or lower, which mean it's almost impossible to win.

It's hilarious if the gambler win big amount, then he donate small amount to the casino, but when he want to withdraw, the casino reject his withdrawal due to breaching their own terms.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 10, 2023, 08:11:06 AM
If there was no factor of luck in gambling and it was based strictly on strategy, many people will take gambling as seriously as they take trading since they know that a greater chance of them winning depends on how good their strategy is. Gambling if so will become a full-time job for people just as you have full-time traders and there will be more discussions about how to introduce gambling to our children earlier to be aware of it since it is something they can make money from. I believe gambling is based more on strategy than luck.
Trading really need luck, it's wrong to say if you will always make money in trading because if all people seriously learn about candle stick, trend, scalping, etc, most of people are become rich via trading.

You can only hope the future will be same like your analysis, if there's a news Bitcoin is completely banned in US and Europa, the Bitcoin price will decline a lot and not like your analysis.

Gambling is same, you're predict the strong team will win, but surprisingly the weak team is win the match.
1274  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: April 10, 2023, 07:34:45 AM
I am pretty sure that "just for bitcointalk users" is not something that the casino would do, that just doesn't make sense and I am guessing that it will not happen. It is going to be a tough situation at hand, but when the time comes they will use this place to promote, like signature campaign and other stuff, but aside from that I do not think that there would be competition because the number here is weak.

Compare it to a place like twitter, there would be thousands more there and it does attract more people, so just being here doesn't make sense. They probably love that we support them here, but that doesn't mean that they should lose money on marketing by just focusing here even for just one event.
Other casinos have their own dedicated contest or promotion for Bitcointalk users, that's really boost their existence in this forum. Take a look with art contest, multiplier master, free raffle, poker competition, pool betting etc. Even though it's organized here, but it won't prevent other people which don't have any account can't participate, the casino can share the contest to their twitter and they can create their own account in this forum to join.
1275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin cover total liquidity on: April 10, 2023, 05:29:54 AM
Let's compare both Bitcoin and USD.

Currently USD circulation supply is 23,856,086,467,000 USD or 2,385,608,646,700,000 cents. While BTC circulation supply is 19,342,106 BTC or 1,934,210,600,000,000 satoshi. It's quite closer if we compare with the smallest unit, how you can say BTC circulation supply is far less than fiat money? Check the marketcap here https://fiatmarketcap.com/

Bitcoin isn't created to make everyone rich anyway.
1276  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 10, 2023, 05:00:15 AM
Many people saying borrowing a money isn't a bad thing as long as we can manage it, but if you have a choice it's better to never borrow any money and looking on the other way to get money. Some people can't manage their loan and anything can happen outside of our plan in order to repay the loan, so it will increase the risk you will fail to repay back your loan.

I think even people are working and get paid lower than the average salary, they can still survive without need to ask a loan, it's just a matter of their lifestyle.

1278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Bad Economy on: April 09, 2023, 04:51:21 AM
Do you think those experts will give you a good advice regarding Bitcoin investment? they might doesn't know how Bitcoin works.

I still saw a lot people which claim to be experts were talking about Bitcoin is decentralized and no one can stop it, but at the same time they suggest anyone to store Bitcoin in Binance because they say Binance have SAFU Grin

It's contradict the definition of decentralization since you're holding your coins on a centralized site.
1279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in times of danger. on: April 09, 2023, 04:40:29 AM
I really regret that you sold your Bitcoin, even though within 1 year we will have a halving on Bitcoin, to be precise in Q1 or early Q2. If in the future you have Bitcoin again, and don't want to sell it but want to solve your financial problems at that time, we have a board for money lending in this forum [1]. You can guarantee your Bitcoin as collateral for lending there, on the one hand you can solve your problem, on the other hand you will not lose the value of your Bitcoin.
Most people will lend their money to get interest, this make the @OP need to pay the loan with the interest which is high. As you said above Bitcoin bull run might happen on the next year, no one will lend their money for a year since it's too long.

I don't think the @OP should regret to convert his Bitcoin to fiat for his family needs, family needs is more important than money. It seems like you're don't want to spend any money you get, it's better for you to stop eating to save more money to invest more Bitcoin.
1280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do new online casinos struggle? on: April 09, 2023, 04:25:58 AM
Ending signature campaign doesn't mean they are struggling to allocate budget for their advertisement, it has other reasons too like some gambling sites run campaign for years so they thought okay its enough and we can spend that money on other platforms apart from bitcointalk while talking about new the results aren't that effective as they expected so looking alternative way of advertising.
But I think it doesn't wrong, if they have a lot money and their casino become bigger, they should don't have any problem to run a long term signature campaign in this forum. Take a look with a reputable casino which still run with and without signature campaign, the casino without signature campaign mostly dead, turn become scam or many gamblers tend to choose other casino.

Not many casino without a signature campaign can survive in this forum.
