I was unaware for this recent attack, this one was nasty DDOS, we received around 20 million hit within couple of hours. We are up again now, and I'll monitor the site for a while. Again, we're sorry for the inconvenience.

Did you get any ransom demands from attacker(s) or are they doing it for fun (or competitors maybe)?
In this business it is either competition or someone infuriated unlucky bastard is trying to vent his anger after a losing streak. It happened before.
Ransom demands are rare because: a) if owner pays then attacks will most likely return in the future b) there is possibility (slim) of tracking the payment.
1262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: hello i need a partner to do bets on: October 04, 2016, 12:57:21 AM
im good at this so i will give only bets that is 100% win anyone who can start as my partner will see that i search to earn and split profit so if anyone can do this please send me a pm and we can talk

If you always win, they why you don't bet yourself? Instead you want a middleman for this? Very strange.

Options you have got:

1. Use escrow and collateral.
2. Instead of trying to find someone who will sponsor you - start betting tips thread - if you are really that good, people would BUY tips from you.
1263  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SHOULD I BUY AND HOLD BTC, DASH, DOGE on: October 03, 2016, 12:46:05 PM
Buying and  holding BTC is always a good idea. There is almost guarantee that at some point price will be higher than now so if you can wait for it you will profit for sure.

From the altcoins Op mentioned only Dash has potential to be used as speculative coin. I am afraid that Doge's times are over.

Other altcoins worth trading are: ETH, Monero and more recent MaidSafeCoin
1264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: October 03, 2016, 12:31:32 PM
Yes it can be considered as sickness but it can be cured
1. Only excessive gambling is harmful. Addiction in every form could be called a sickness, psychcal additicion is not an exeption here.
2. If you truly are addicted gambler then you CAN'T be 100% cured. It is the same same as other several types of addictions: i.e drugs and alcohol. Maybe you won't drink - but you will have 'it' inside you.
1265  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice | Most Popular & Trusted | Huge Community | Free BTC on: October 03, 2016, 12:16:52 PM
Still waiting for the response. (16776)

Hey,

Can you submit new ticket?
Why is the reason behind it? You can't access old support tickets? They become outdated after some time or something?

Is it really good policy to create multiple support tickets for the same issue?
1266  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io - NOT provably fair on: October 03, 2016, 12:09:08 PM
Op if you don't play at betterbets then there is a motive behind your post. I'm going to guess extortion probably.  This looks like some kind of oversight error. They fix it in minutes....now we can pick client seeds in the 4 billions on accounts.  So dev said they spoke to you and it seems outcome wasn't what you wanted -gimme money or I'm posting- and you made this post. Does this about sum it up?
They fixed it mainly because he contacted them and asked about this issue. Without him we probably wouldn't be aware that exploit like this can be even possible.
I don't know if he demanded money for this, but if I were the owner of BetterBets.io I would honor Op with some kind of small bounty for his bug hunting.
1267  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io - NOT provably fair on: October 03, 2016, 10:10:25 AM
I wonder if situation similar to this could be also possible for other services powered by MoneyPot. I mean people are usually lazy to check.

Op said this is possible only for BetterBets.io and "all other Moneypot Sites are provably fair because they let the User pick his Clientseed"

Is this really the case?
1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: October 03, 2016, 10:03:27 AM
I agree with most people in this thread that gambling will bring misery to the players in one day. then we should avoid gambling before the calamity. better to use other ways to get bitcoin, like bitcoin and altcoin trading
Actually, at this point I can say that I 'lost' more money on trading than on gambling.
Last year I sold some of my BTC because I thought price is gonna crash but instead it advanced higher.
I never had so bad luck with gambling - true - I lost some bets but never that high.
1269  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pocket Dice – The first realistic dice game on: October 03, 2016, 09:53:44 AM
-snip-
This is true. Coinplace=pocketdice

Another scam, confirmed. Be cautious.
Be prepared if you win big, you can say sayonara to your coins. But they admitted themselves that Coin Palace = Pocket Dice.
We have to expect than next time new Dice will show up they won't be so eager to confirm this correlation.
1270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Deutsche Bank: How long before it crashes now? on: October 02, 2016, 12:45:20 AM
Deutsche Bank is too big to fail in my opinion, it will get bailed out if anything shaky happens - I think that the negative press will certainly help the bitcoin price in this kind of situation, you can already see some movement with a lot of the altcoin prices falling as people are moving their funds back to BTC.
Deutsche Bank is big, sure, but no company is too big to fall. After economic crisis in 2008 many BIG financial institutions and services fall.
Have you heard about bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers? It was the largest bankruptcy filing in U.S. history, with Lehman holding over $600 billion in assets!
The bigger they are the longer the fall.

1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: which dice site is better ? on: October 02, 2016, 12:34:07 AM

"best" have different and a lot of meaning ,
primedice the trusted and oldest bitcoin dice site so far an advantage you will have no worry play here ,
betking have an investment option and have a super large bankroll invested make them secure to play too ,
999dice 100% confirmed scam.
Acually that is popular misconception. PrimeDice  is not the oldest Dice or bitcoin casino. SaotoshiDice is the oldest still active Dice site I know of - they are live since April 2012.
Also Betking (in service since April 2013) is older than PrimeDice (live since May 2013) in general, but their Dice was introduced in February 2014.
1272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Girls also gamble? on: October 02, 2016, 12:25:11 AM
In those societies where male and female stand the same like in London etc there we can expect the same ratio of females on casino as the males while in those societies where the females are kept in back to males and backward like in east countries like India etc there we see lesser females at casinos.
It is not true. Even in western culture women are timid and not interested much in gambling. If you go to any live casino then you will be number of men much more than women.
Women are mainly with men who gamble, acting as an escort, not gambling themselves. It is exactly because women care less about risk and pleasure of gambling in general.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: October 02, 2016, 12:02:45 AM
It is vital to choose a reliable casino
Bitcoin powered casinos are usually completely unregulated services even ToS you can read are not exactly binding law.
There was cases of casinos changing their ToS on the fly after some lucky player managed to win big money: Betcoin.ag and more recently Bitstarz.

Every bitcoin casino is advertised as stable, reliable and safe - until it isn't.
1274  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betbit.co| Dice game | 0.1% house edge | Referral program | Bonuses that shock! on: October 01, 2016, 11:52:18 PM
Is there a way to limit/turn off roll animation when rolling single bets? I find it unnecessary long an annoying after some time.

I read in your ToS that: "For safety, we store a limited amount of bitcoins in our hot wallet." - how high is this amount exactly?
1275  Economy / Gambling / Re: $$$$ Wajur mobile casino open for business. $$$$ on: October 01, 2016, 06:35:21 PM
Update: Wajur.com is now taking Dogecoin!

Stay tuned for our upcoming promotion...
Adding Doge is not gonna change anything new - it is empty feature, from what I noticed LTC and DOGE are not that popular alts anymore in gambling.
Consider adding ETH or Monero - if you really want support altcoins. I bet people would be far more interested in your promotions.
1276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Deutsche Bank: How long before it crashes now? on: October 01, 2016, 05:06:18 PM

2. Why will Bitcoin "obviously skyrocket as a result"? More false predictions on this Forum than upticks of the price in a day!

Thanks.

Every time when traditional banking, and finance sector is in trouble - bitcoin as an alternative is gaining. Weak FIAT = strong cryptocurrency.
Fall of Deutsche Bank will undermine people's trust in banks in general - if big bank like this can fall then people's money is not safe anymore.
1277  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: October 01, 2016, 05:01:52 PM
i vote betking.io Smiley
I think, Just-Dice and BitDice are two good options for now, though for Just-Dice u need to convert BTC to CLAM.

What? Is it really necessary? Why do you want to convert BTC to CLAM if you want to simply invest your money?
1278  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice. x100 rolls earn you lottery tickets. 0.02% House edge. on: October 01, 2016, 04:29:01 PM
It is something really new and I never heard about +EV idea being a successful. Both for owner and for players.
You want to monetize your VIP packages and ads (I noticed that you can't play unless you disable your adblock).
Is there any way to control/check fairness of the games?
1279  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chess Game that Used Bitcoin? on: October 01, 2016, 04:21:06 PM
Actually, guys, I've found that lichess.org hosts the "BitChess" games in which you play blitz/bullet games (short games) and compete for prizes paid in Bitcoin. This is actually feasible because I would think that most people who were planning to cheat would only be able to do so without such a short time limit, plus the fact that cheating would be more obvious in bullet chess - if they do a lot of wild moves (that are sourced from an algorithm) quickly and consistently, since you have a lot of blitz and bullet games to play.

Seriously, check it out if you're a fan of chess.

lichess.org
BitChess.org
I wan't aware of sites like these. But as tee-rex said blitz chess can be exploited in the same way as standard full-time chess game.

With online chess there will always be element of doubt if you are facing real opponents it is nature of that game.

If you really can earn money by playing chess there I wonder if games are not being exploited alredy.
1280  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice. x100 rolls earn you lottery tickets. 0.02% House edge. on: October 01, 2016, 04:12:20 PM
Ok, I understand that House Edge of your Dice is 0.02% BTW, how can you maintain it? It is temp promo or something?
But how about HE of other games: Slots, Wheel, Plinko and Roulette?
