I do not think that this will be a big problem, because even now when AI processes (trains) on various images, it creates new information for itself (which we cannot understand). For example, AI analyzes well, and subsequently imitates the styles of different artists, but it is probably impossible to write down exactly what these styles are. Similarly, it can happen, for example, with a football match - the AI will watch it and will make live quotes regarding the outcome of this match (and they will be extremely accurate), but a person will not be able to see the rationale for these quotes.

Fair enough, that's basically the black box problem. That the AI might be able to predict things usefully but we don't know why.

Now, that could happen, but still we don't know if current AI has the predicting capability based on the current information.

Maybe, and maybe not. I don't think we know this yet.

You will have absolutely no problem playing the best casino slot games. While it's true that with casino slots it's all a matter of chance, there are things you can do to increase your chances of winning. One of them is knowing where to play slot games even if there is a risk of losing you want to go with a slot casino uk which as a rule offers a higher payout percentage. The higher the return to the player the more you will be paid by the slot casino uk after winning.

This is true, basically the only thing a gambler can do to maximize their chances is to play games that the house has less advantage.

I think poker is the one with the best deal for the gambler. Of course the house still has an advantage, but it's the smallest across all games.

And if you have the chance of moving around countries or casinos, then some actually are easier to win because they are structured differently. For example some roulettes don't have a double zero, making it easier to win.

I'm not very good at math, so I never calculated the probability. And when playing dice, I also don't see how much chance I can win and lose. I tend to play and push the button seeing if I win or lose and keep playing it until I've had enough of craps.

So the dice game was fun for me to play gambling at first because at that time, I didn't really think about other gambling games. Moreover, at that time, the gambling games in casinos tended to be classic gambling games such as dice, plinko, roulette, and crash. There may already be modern slot games like we see in many crypto casinos today. But I never thought to play it.

Yeah, fair enough.

At the end of the day you only need to know that the house always has a slightly (or huge) advantage.

The odds are always in favor of the casino. The gambler can only choose games that are slightly not as bad, and just enjoy their games.

After all, if you simply calculate the odds and not consider the fun, etc, you wouldn't gamble because it has a negative return.

Homosexuals are around 1% to 2% of the total population, which means that any chance of sexual abuse from people of same gender will be 50x-100x lower than that from the opposite gender. Once again, I am not asking for a complete ban on coaching by people from the opposite gender. I am just asking for more surveillance and monitoring. Because this has become a regular occurrence nowadays. Either it is due to abuse becoming more frequent, or due to the fact that more and more athletes are coming forward to report the unfortunate incidents that they have to face.

True, but I reckon those things should be in place anyway, independent of the gender of the person.

Basically, it should be standard to have a normal workplace, independent of who you are.

But as I said, cultural differences, and small personal differences make legislating this basically impossible.

Well.. I am not arguing for gender segregation. But when someone from an opposite gender is put in a position of power, there should be at least some sort of monitoring to make sure that no untoward incidents take place. In case of Larry Nassar, the abuse went on for more than a decade before someone mustered enough courage to make the complaint against him. By then, hundreds (if not thousands) of female athletes underwent sexual abuse. The case of Nassar is just a tip of the iceberg. There are 10x or 20x more cases, that are never revealed.

But human are complex creatures.

You mentioned opposite gender in a position of power. What if the person in power is a lesbian or gay?, does that affect what you're proposing?

What if they are in a relatively small position of power?, is that OK?, at what point the power is a concern?

Same with the gender dynamics, a small flirt here and there is OK?, at what point do you put the line. What about the other way around, if the person in power doesn't care at all about them and don't even want to talk to them, etc.

You can't make laws about these things really.

Obama was quite a very likeable politician, to be honest.
Granted, his skin color raised several comments among voters, but even those within the Democrat party who were not ready to vote for a black man fell for his charisma.

It will be matter of time before the United States manages to get a woman as president, the left is getting more progressive as time passes, but Trump has dragged the more moderates towards the right, as it stands now the Democrat party would not take chances with a black woman as candidate until they somehow ended the influence Trump sow within the GOP and some former moderates.

Those who are still moderates could choose not to vote.

To be honest, I'm kinda waiting for a movie or series to be made of the current American political system, house of cards was good, but we need a newer version of it.

It's all like a show these days. Any time I hear an American politician from back in the days it feels like another country completely.

For example, listen to the John F. Kennedy Moon Speech and compare that to a modern day speech.

It can be assumed that the next revolutionary leap in the development of AI will occur when AI begins to extract data itself and not be based on arrays of information prepared by a person. I'd like to see this, and I'm sure I will, since the field of AI is developing very quickly. I think it will look something like this: now bookmakers use 300 (I don’t know the exact number, just an example) different parameters to assess the probability of game outcomes, and AI will use 300 classic parameters + invent new ones that a person simply has not seen, let’s say another 200 parameters. And apparently the new model will be many times more effective.

Well, that would need that the AI is able to generate completely new information, which right now might or might not be able to do.

Yes, AI can create new things, but I think it's basically a combination of previously known things, not uniquely new.

It might be because of the training mechanism, we give positive feedback for things that look human made let's say, and negative to weird things.

We might be an obstacle to AI expressing a truly new creation.

Sorry, I don't think it's true. Where did you get those numbers from? Slots indeed have a big house edge, but not as big as you put it. I think the average house edge for online slots is about 5%. You can lose all your balance on  slots, it's possible, but it's not guaranteed that you'll lose "minimum 10%". In fact, you can win. No one would play slots if it were like you said.

I believe each slot machine has a different standard, so it's hard to generalize.

I mean, type of machine really, let's say game type A has a different standard of game type B, specially true when going overseas as they have different regulations.

Online might be more homogeneous, but I'm not sure.

It's all about probability so we might see the number 1 but it won't be very often especially if our luck isn't there. We have to be able to see the situation because if the situation is not or is less favorable, we should stop immediately. After all, if not, we might lose continuously.

But that will depend on how much your curiosity is because if you are still curious, you will keep playing until you can get a win. But unfortunately, it will still depend on your luck at that time.

True, it's all about probability.

So, the expected result after throwing a dice six times is to see the number 1 only once. That is going to be the most common occurrence if you repeat the experiment multiple times.

Now, sometimes, you might see all six times a number 1, but that's the least common occurrence, with a probability of 1/6 ^ 6 = 2.143347050754458e-05, basically 0.000002 chances, extremely low.

And everything in between. The actual number you see will be always random, but you have some probabilities that you can use to know what to expect.

Dice games often involve good guesswork and guesswork.  But again it often works against assumptions. I can predict many things from Dice and I have many records of profiting from Dice.  Apart from crypto I have played Dice for a long time on a site called pmdice and have been able to withdraw good amounts of money most of the time. But again if Dice is played together for a long time then nothing works well in the head resulting in big losses

That's just because you were lucky.

But on average, people who gamble at a dice game will have less chances than the casino to win.

That's basically what makes the casinos profitable. They always have an edge.

And even if temporarily someone wins, they will keep playing, and therefore end up losing it all in the end.

But this is less relevant for international competitions like the World Cup. Those tournaments are not everyday business and perhaps everyone has this feeling when a World Cup takes place in a sport that we don't usually follow, but then we pay attention to it and even watch it when the favorite teams make it into the quarter finals and such. This is why I am absolutely convinced that the World Cup 2026 will be passionate in all regards. People will cheer whether they like the NBA more on not, it's nationals day so to say and I like that. Look at the amazing Morocco fans from 2022 in Qatar. They are an amazing example for an impressive crowd to support their team.

I'm not sure about that, at around the same time that the Women's World Cup was happening in Australia there was also the Netball World Cup, which Australia actually won.

The amount of engagement of the Netball World Cup was nothing compared to the one from The Women's World Cup.

So, it's not really just that there's a world cup event going on, there is also the fact that some sports are more popular than others in general.

Yes I agree with this, simply put people who gamble are addicted, but I think the addiction factor can be measured, how often they go there to gamble and how rarely they do it, it can be a benchmark for us to see whether they are already addicted at a high level or still below average. There is no denying that winning is their main goal why they always come to gamble.

True, everyone has their own amount to lose in gambling, some may only lose some of their pocket money and some may lose everything they have and not infrequently make their economy and family fall apart. Therefore, the truth is that even if you have the excuse that you are doing it for fun, it is still basically an addiction but in a low level, so it does not mean that you should continue doing it, and there is nothing better unless you stop doing it because it will only create new problems for your life.

Yeah, but with gambling the problem is that even with a single visit to the casino you can end up in financial ruin.

That's not very common in other addictions. Maybe heroine addiction, where just a single time might ruin your brain for the future.

Whereas most other drugs like alcohol for example require a longer time to get into an addiction or a really negative experience.

The thing is that Trump back then had the advantage of facing Hillary, who is a despicable character within the American politics, to be honest. Even democrats were aware of her being the lesser of two evils, added to the long tradition of the presidency of the United States being a position for men and not women.

Whether the American left wants to admit it or not, the average person there is not yet prepared to give their vote of confidence to a woman, so back in 2020 they went with Biden for the nomination. I have seen people around internet talking about the possibility of Kamala Harris nomination for the democrat party in the future, but that is very unlikely, the party wont risk another 2016 situation in the expected future, specially with the tendency of the Republican party to push forward men. Trump happens to be the most eccentric and  populist of them in these latest years, breaking precedent after precedent.

Maybe....

But you could have said the same thing about Obama, and the people of the US not prepared to vote for a black man for president... yet, it happened.

Also, many people never believed that Trump would be elected, and yet, he was elected.

Anything can happen in the US elections really.

It is also a way to get that adrenaline rush that most of us need, there are adrenaline junkies jumping out of bridges just to feel alive, gambling is a way to get similar results without having to risk your life.

So it makes sense that people gamble as much as they do now, as their lives while fulfilling are on the boring side, gambling allows people for a few minutes or hours to feel that adrenaline rush for a modicum cost, in something that I think it is a fair deal.

You can also get positive feelings by doing other things, like going out for a run, hitting up the gym, etc.

It's not as easy and immediate as gambling, but you also will feel better for longer, and it will be more future proof than gambling.

A friend of a friend of mine was saying Trump would win the election and I was saying no way, Hillary would win. It was long time ago, back in the 2016. I was so confident that I accepted his bet, $100(I was a bit drunk), and was expecting to win the money. We all know what happened. Since then I'm betting only what I can afford to lose even if I "know" the outcome "for sure". And don't gamble when you are drunk, guys.

Yeah, I think most people were not expecting Trump to be president back then.

Now it's a different story because there's a precedent.

We will have to simply wait and see what happens.

This has more twists than a Venezuelan telenovela.

The world is simply bigger than we think. Football is the #1 famous sport in my country too. In USA, it is basketball I believe. (or is it baseball?) In some other part of the world where Brit influence is strong, Cricket is more popular. (Believe it or not, I don't know anything about cricket other than what I just said now) If the North Americans don't like football (they even call it soccer wtf) we can't blame them for this. I for example, never played baseball, never watched a baseball game, just like cricket, I don't know anything about it. Played basketball only a few times and I found it pretty boring. Football (not soccer) is all there is for me. I don't really watch any other sport.

Yeah, that's the thing, different countries will have different sports.

But as a worldwide sport, there is really only one, football/soccer. There is nothing that comes even close to it really in terms of global passion for it. In terms of number of people, and level of passion for it.

I think this case is nonsense, at least it was a man and a woman, or I see nothing wrong there, what happens is that now there is the generation of crystal that things like that offend them, also, by God what happened was a kiss, nothing more, now, almost all the people who are "feminists" well something offended them, because yes, of course, it was seen something like that he is too old for her, but come on, we are in a world where they see it as normal wrong, then it is not the idea either.

With respect to the things that they have said with the Spanish and the girl, it is somewhat exaggerated, first they are offended, then they receive support from many women in the world, then a video comes out where the girl they kissed enjoys herself and sharing a lot with her colleagues, the video is out there, and well, it is something that is generated and was generated due to emotion, also something must be rescued here, the Spaniard asked her for a kiss, he didn't even steal it, then this Kind of things are the ones that could help that a lot.

In general terms, we as thinking people, that one thing is football, another thing is what they do with their lives, and the type of sexuality they have, or however they demonstrate it to each other, now the football that Spain demonstrated was something great , that is something that even surprised me because the truth is that I did not believe that Spain would win, in fact it was something that many did not expect, but the players did very well, they are the world champions, they gave a great football demonstration, and that is what we call to do the best for a country, representing Spain like goddesses.

As for the other problems to come and when they asked the Spaniard to resign, I thought it was very excellent that he himself said that he was not going to resign, that it was something that he did not have to do, and it seemed childish on the part of a player like Iniesta stated that football was being damaged by him, honestly Iniesta shouldn't get involved in problems like this, because he looks bad, honestly it's because he can be a team coach or something because as a politician he has no real life.

It really is a weird thing that the story of this kiss has gotten more traction that Spain winning the womens world cup.

It's a bit insane to be honest, who cares about that kiss, the girl went along, said there was nothing wrong, and that's it.

Why are there so many people creating this whole thing, the people involved didn't see anything wrong, so people should just continue with their lives, nothing happened.

With that analysis, we can determine what we will do and will know the respective risks if we want to place a bet. We can also find out how big our chances of winning from these bets, even though that doesn't guarantee we can get big wins. At least we can know our opportunities to determine how many bets we can place.

Well, that's the past that we've passed and can be a good lesson for us, especially to avoid the same mistakes in the future. We can also be more careful in betting because we cannot win from the casino forever and there must be awareness when we gamble and when to stop gambling. We also have to avoid losing a lot of money from gambling so that we can use the money to gamble the next day.

Yes, you can always predict with a certain accuracy what the future will be.

For example if you roll a dice six times, you will probably see a number 1 at some point. If you roll it six more times, you will have double the chances of seeing a one, and so on.

You can of course never see a 1, but it is increasingly improbable.

Agree with you. Success in gambling of one who plays gambling does not make the person not to be addicted. Addiction in gambling is one who can't stay without playing gambling it doesn't mean if the game comes out successfully or not . One who succeeds in gambling must be addicted to gambling because I don't think it will be easy for the person to stop gambling. People get addicted to gambling because of the money involved in it, if success can make someone play gambling all time that means it is addiction.

Yeah, that's the thing. People do get addicted at gambling, because it is fun to win money basically.

And people win from time to time when gambling.

The problem is that people lose more than what they win, so it's not a great idea in the end.

Well.. the last line summarizes it. It's a good thing, right? In Europe and Latin America, too much importance is being given to one sport and everything else suffers as a result. But in the United States, no one sport is having a monopoly and there is enough attention being given to most of the Olympic disciplines. One disadvantage with the United States is that despite being the no.1 economy in the world, they don't have a good football league. The Major League Soccer is nowhere in comparison to European leagues such as Serie A or EPL.

I don't think it's either a good or a bad thing... it just is.

The passion about football only exists in Europe and South America. Is that a good or a bad thing?, I don't think it matters, it just is.

And also I don't think you can create that by putting more money into the competition. South America is an example of poor countries with a love of football whereas in the European competitions there's a lot of money involved. So, it's independent of money.
