1261  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚠️ Crypto.Games ⚠️ Account Closure and ~8.38 ETH Confiscated on: September 08, 2023, 09:51:23 AM
I will advise you do the KYC and take your assets and forget about to he casino. Do no it trust any third party to keep your assets with them. Remember that " Not your keys not your coin" is still very much important. I believe you have learnt your lessons from this experience now.

And what we learned from this situation? We can all find ourselves in a situation where the casino tells us that we have to go through the KYC procedure if we want to continue playing and depositing/withdrawing money. It's a "new normal", and we have to be ready for something like that, especially if some bigger money is at stake.

Well, I would probably take your advice... At least for this amount I would finish KYC and move the big part of that balance to my wallet, but I am not sure I would just forget about the casino. If it's going good maybe I would continue playing, and I would feel pretty safe about my future deposits & withdrawals.

Absolutely, one must do his or her check and balance to know  what they stand to benefit most against all odds. If OP feels after finishing his or her KYC and the casino is still okay, up and doing then so be it if otherwise OP should do the needful and  go on with his or her life.
Come to talk of it, the value of the asset is not worth losing. If it is in my country here, it is a huge amount of money for that matter. Although the amount is still very big in dollars and is not worth leaving there but one thing OP should know is that laws are not static as well. They can change policies at any time and one would have no option than to play along for their own interest. OP should know this and do the needful.
1262  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitmex is being stupid on: September 08, 2023, 09:39:43 AM

I see from the announcement that it would take up to six months for participants to conclude their KYC. Then OP did not understand to the reasons why he was blocked. Possibly OP did not read to understand why his or her account was blocked which would require a KYC before trading. So it would be on the best interest of OP to go do his or her KYC and wait for verification approval before coming here to complaining anything. This is more or less op  misleading us here and if you check out OP failed to present verifiable proofs to back up his or her claims. Until now op has not made any response from questions asked.

Op should provide proper detail and full proof that what actually happened from start to end full story otherwise it not easy to concludes any opinion. If OP passed kyc and didn't broke any rules like multiple registration then he should come here and send all proof.
Bitmex support team should reply and solve the issue. Even if someone do illegal work, you have to satisfy customer that why this issue happen. If they not responding that's mean There is a smell of deception from bitmex team too

Looking from the announcement, it is not up to complete 2 weeks since they made the announcement that their clients should do their KYC and it going to last for six months which would avail the opportunity for everyone to successfully complete providing their documents for verification. If you check possibly they might have blocked OP as a result of his or her ignorance with respect to their publication. Maybe OP tried trading or making withdrawals without doing his or her KYC which warranted them to block the account. You can see that OP has not been able to provide any additional evidence since then to prove his or her point.
1263  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚠️ Crypto.Games ⚠️ Account Closure and ~8.38 ETH Confiscated on: September 08, 2023, 09:07:26 AM

When it comes to fund and assets, It is well known that one needs to protect it with utmost care and caution. I believe you have heard this word here and it is very popular for members conversant with the crypto community and it says "not your keys, not your coin".This words speaks of volume because they say exactly what really happens in the crypto world when it comes to third party holding custody of your assets. Third party holding your assets does not guarantee you the ownership because they are not decentralized so therefore what ever they ask you to do, you must obey otherwise your assets are gone. This is the situation in which you are now OP.

When it comes to business, you should know that every organisation looks for a way to maximize profit which casinos are not left out and I believe this is the situation in which you are facing now as the amount of asset discussed here is not a small amount if we are to look into it. You should have withdrawn your assets long enough  to protect and save yourself this stress. It is better for you to do the kyc and get your funds as they will tell you they are acting in accordance with government policies to safeguard themselves even though there is nothing for them to hold unto. This should be a lesson to you so in the future you do not entrust your funds to any third party what so ever the situation is.

I refuse to compromise my principles and privacy by complying with these demands. I am being coerced into providing my personal and private information in exchange for a refund. How can this be considered an acceptable business practice?

Until I receive the full balance i'm owed, I plan to keep this post visible indefinitely and dedicate time on weekends to leave comprehensive reviews on multiple casino review sites in order to increase awareness about this situation.

This behavior is completely unacceptable!

I have reached my limit and will no longer allow myself to be taken advantage of! 6 YEARS!!

In as much as you said you would not compromise your principles and privacy that's great but you should know that third parties are mostly centralised now and most of them are acting based on the laws governing their jurisdiction where they find themselves. If in the past they had no KYC policy  that was then and not the present. As a result of government actions and sanctions, they decided to implement the KYC policies which everyone member would  have to undergo before they make any withdrawal.  So you would not blame them for the sudden change of policy as they too are protecting their name and image from being booted. You should know that things changes as time passes by.  For instance, I believe there are some things you do then and as you grow old you changed and you stopped because you feel you bigger than those things. So it is with the casino and to cut it short the government policy warrants that they conduct KYC on their clients so they are doing and do not forget that they are centralised.

I will advise you do the KYC and take your assets and forget about to the casino. Do not trust any third party to keep your assets with them. Remember that " Not your keys not your coin" is still very much important. I believe you have learnt your lessons from this experience now.

I was wondering if you really read to follow instructions before taking actions or you just put application just like that without knowledge of what you are about going into. As you can see, the campaign is CFNP ( closed for new participants) that is what is written at the topic of the thread which is bold enough for all to see and understand.

At first, I will welcome you as a newbie here but this casino you have mentioned already have an announcement thread or is this one different from the other? There are lots of pending cases and questions waiting for answer from your casino.

If I may ask you, are you a representative or a team member?

It is expected that you continue with your old thread rather than spamming the platform with various announcement thread to one casino. The platform frowns at Such .

You can check out for yourself.

Old announcement thread

Another announcement thread.

From the looks, I think they are just abandoning the threads for another which is resulting to spamming of this platform.
1266  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitmex is being stupid on: September 07, 2023, 08:45:55 PM
At first did you do KYC before depositing on the exchange?
Initially. It was possible to create an account or multiple accounts on Bitmex and trade without every going through any sort of KYC verification. All one needed was to verify the email address, but on 28 August 2020, everything would completely change after announcing that every user would have to complete mandatory KYC verification on registering or before trading on the platform.

I see from the announcement that it would take up to six months for participants to conclude their KYC. Then OP did not understand to the reasons why he was blocked. Possibly OP did not read to understand why his or her account was blocked which would require a KYC before trading. 1267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the reasons behind this picture being used to depict Satoshi? on: September 07, 2023, 02:11:26 PM
I think this is not the real image or face of Satoshi Nakamoto. Just as I have read in the replies and comments. He was accused of being the real Satoshi Nakamoto while his real name is Dorian Nakamoto. Although he refuted the claims not being the real Satoshi Nakamoto as it was a thing of similar names
So therefore it was a case of mistaken identity.buy however, just as it was said earlier by a poster his image was still used by the media to attach to Bitcoin whenever it is mentioned. I presume he must have had a lot of tough time battling with this issue which has led to him being on government watch list if possible.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Littleboy's altcoin casino on: September 07, 2023, 01:24:53 PM
<snip>
When was your casino launched? How long have you been developing it? What percentage of development progress do you estimate your website has reached? In my opinion, there is much more to add, including legal content, FAQs, and more. Could you please share your plans for this casino with us? Currently, it does not appear to be a Bitcoin casino so it should not be included on this board, as you only accept deposits (I assume) using the $LBC token, about which you have not provided much information.

I believe that potential players may be discouraged from playing, as this token seems to have little value, pardon the term. It does not appear to offer much benefit to new players; it seems to have been designed primarily to benefit existing coin holders. Let's see how this will work out.

Casino was launched a few days ago. A week tops.  Been developing it since beginning of August. Development progress i would say we are about 75%. As for legal, games are licensed and proven to be fair play. Token value is low currently yes, but there is a very small amount of people trading or using the casino at the moment. Current token holders all bought on exchange. Token is designed to benefit everyone or anyone that holds it, considering if the casino gains popularity, the token value will rise with it. Value of the token is less important than delivering a pleasant and good time for those who would like to play the casino games.
I appreciate all the feedback

It is nice knowing how far you have gone in terms of developing your casino near final stage. I believe your services would offer maximum satisfaction to all prospective clients of yours in the nearest future.
I guess why the token price is low is because the utility value is not yet actualized. When launched, it would definitely take a new dimension in price value as the casino would be in full functionality.

I would suggest you run a review on your casino for possible observations as regards the  durability and reliability of your casino in the sense that any bug and future not attended to would be fixed before fully launched.

Lastly, I would advise you quote reply on one page so as to make your announcement thread coordinated. Avoid quote replying one for one that you are not tagged a spammer spamming your own announcement thread.
Looking forward to seeing your casino and campaign launched in a grand style.
1269  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers Claiming To Refund Users affected By the Stake Hack on: September 07, 2023, 12:39:23 PM
It is never a new thing that scammers would go to any length to get at unsuspecting members of the audience with any slight opportunity at their disposal. It takes a patient person to take out time to doing research on subject matters so as not to fall victim of their scam. OP you have done well to draw this to the attention of members of this platform. I believe members who are not aware of this scam would take note of it and try their possible best to avert any further engagement or interaction they have already had or are trying to do with the scammers unknown to them.
The people I sorry are the greedy ones who are not smart enough to control themselves but to jump into wanting to get what they have no evidence for to claim.

At first did you do KYC before depositing on the exchange?

Did you register with VPN and after registration you forgot to use the VPN to continue login your account?

Possibly there must have been something wrong with your account because I do not see any reason why your account should be blocked just like that.

OP it would be nice and in my your own interest to provide concrete information and evidence to back up your claims as this chat you provided is not enough to justify this situation. There must have been a breach somewhere else that warranted this actions from this third party organisation because it would not be making any sense to closing am account without any strong and tangible reasons.
1272  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [hacked wallet] how is this even possible on: September 07, 2023, 10:13:25 AM
I am sure there must have been a but programmed to do that upon your wallet Connecting or interacting with a smart contract  and you approving the connection. It might have access your wallet through that process and possibly withdrawal must have been made by the bit as was programmed for such function.

So sorry about your experience. I will advise you do away with that wallet and if you can, run a scan on your device to know the level at which your gadget was corrupted by such attack and begin the process of formatting your gadget. Do well to not grant third party Dex wallet or app to be gaining access to your wallet or device to ensure the safety of your assets.

1274  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Claim.usdcircle.io legit or scam? on: September 07, 2023, 08:24:52 AM
~snipped~
That's how scammers attack people, they usually use that sketchy prize thing so if people believe that they really won because of that notification then after that they will get scammed.
The first question anyone should ask themselves should be, "Why would a random stranger want to gift me something?" The second question should be (that's if they go ahead to take the first step by showing interest), "Why is someone trying to gift me something by asking me for cash to redeem the gift they said I got/won?" Those two questions the victims don't get to ask because they're blinded by greed to hasty up and claim whatever prize they've been promised they're getting. Honestly, I don't waste sympathy on those who fall for such cheap manipulations. They're the architects of whatever befalls them.
These self questions you have mentioned here has a big role to play for any one curious about such occurrence or drop as a gift to them. Many people fail to have a clear thought about some little things that matters before they engage to interacting with such contract address to transact. I see no reason why I should just wake up and start doing transactions on my wallet for a token I have no idea about. I never filled any form or partook in any free airdrop to say that this is where this token rewards are coming from or somebody sent them to me as a reward or payment for services rendered.  These things should be what one should have as thought before trying to do anything when such was sent to their wallet.

1276  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO on: September 06, 2023, 11:23:56 PM
I have finished testing this casino several days ago. I was able to deposit, play, and receive a cashout with no issues.
The full review will be published pretty soon Wink
Nice to see a forum member coming up with a review of this casino,  it pretty exciting to hear this from you as this has been my major way to discover a new casino,  I always follow the reviews of forum members,  and more also in the area of the bitcoin talk special promo or the 100% welcome bonus I will be happy to know how that works and I will be looking forward to reading your review as promised.

It is nice to see that this casino would get a positive feedback here. One thing i normally do when ever a casino makes officially an announcement here of their presence, I check for their review to know their stand first before attempting to make any move as to getting registered and trying their services but I was not okay when i saw the review of this casino on trustpillot. It is obvious they would have to work on it to look into the complaints of their clients so as to be able to render good services as to satisfy their clients and other parties involved.

I think in other to counter that review on trust pilot, Denis Coins and the coins play team should organise a review campaign here to see the response of the platform members who have tested their  services to see how far the results would look liken then they can be rest assured that with the response form this platform, the other reviews holds no water.
1277  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: coinplay seized over 1400$ winnings on: September 06, 2023, 10:57:30 PM
It is unfortunate you are having this experience. Likewise it is when it happens that such a complaint is coming from a newbie that does not know the left and right of how the system works here. These are the things that cast bad name on crypto. OP I was wondering too if you never did a research before you attempted having deal with this casino because the last time I checked, their announcement thread and representative were much inactive and have left their clients here unattended to with lots of questions waiting for answers. If you had checked trustpilot, you would have seen for yourself before going further. As it stands now, there is no assurance that your case would be attended to here since their announcement thread has been inactive for long. I will advise you keep trying your luck at their customer care.
1278  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers sending messages of trust wallet verification. on: September 06, 2023, 10:42:56 PM
There is every tendency that out of 10 users you encounter as a Crypto enthusiast virtual all of them or minimum of 8 of them are using trust wallet. So therefore there is every possibility that they the scammers can send such mails out to possible crypto related mails to see if they could try their luck in gaining access into people's account. This could also happen whenever there is a hack on third parties holding custody of exchanges details and others as well. So I am not surprised seeing such mail in my box and it was sent to the right place where it belongs as to indicate it is a scam.

All I could say is that every one should be careful the links they click on their mail because it can be very porous and dangerous as well as any mistake made would cost them their assets and other vital information that are sensitive to protect.
Trust Wallet, Metamask, and other famous wallets and exchange platforms, and I can say that all cryptocurrency investors in general for all wallets and platforms are targeted. These messages are sent randomly to them, and unlucky and inexperienced is the one who trusts his email messages and clicks on the phishing link and provides them with sensitive access information to his wallet, connects his wallet to their traps, or sends them his own KYC documents "Without knowing that decentralized wallets do not require KYC from their customers" or download any files without checking the sender's email, or by not conducting his research to find out the sincerity of the message, it is better not to trust at all in email messages, whether it is a new email that is not disclosed to the public, because if the person is lazy or unexpert in recognizing the legitimacy and sincerity of the message then he will be hacked and stolen at the push of a button.

Your point is very clear sir. Most of such messages are really tricky and in some cases, newbies are trapped in them as they have no knowledge about them. It is generally known that decentralized wallets are self custodial wallets that needs no KYC or otherwise to verify or validate a wallet but for the fact that it is too real to be real, the victims are likely newbies out of their curiosity to know which way forward, they fall in and expose themselves either by responding with their documents or leaking their seed phrase as the novice they are. AS you have said, laziness is another factor that causes most of these hacks. The victims are too lazy to just take some few minutes to do some research or surf the internet to know what is obtainable before attempting whatever they have received via mail.
Self consciousness and alertness plays a good role in being alert and vigilant to protecting your assets. One must take some steps forward to do the needful by taking time to do some research if they are not really clear with whatever comes their way which they feel is not secured enough for them to take decision.
1279  Economy / Gambling / Re: Account Closure and ~8.38 ETH Confiscated Funds by Crypto.Games on: September 06, 2023, 10:15:03 PM

OP was being too ignorant to look into what basically concerns him or her. I believe definitely there must have been a notification message sent to clients  of that casino of their new Terms of Service so as to enable them update their agreement policy with them. This is the normal thing casinos and exchanges do so as to be on the safe side by alerting their clients to update but if the reverse is the case then OP should have known that it is not safe to have left such amount of asset on his account with the casino. It is generally known here that  asset(s) not under your custody is not your own and as such should have be withdrawn with immediate effect. Well, since you have a large followership  or invited referrals under registered with them, I think they would definitely look into it as loyal fan and give you a soft landing.

KYC was introduced as a feature that allowed user to claim "VIP Birthday Cash"  & "Faster Betting Speed"

Even as of today, KYC is not mandatory (only when requested).
And you're requested to complete it. Is it that hard to understand?

I understand that action that was taken.

I trusted your business to keep my funds safe, look where it’s got me.

I would join the rest of other members here to giving you a sound welcome OP. I will also want you to understand that first approach matters alot here as members are very much sensitive to that. From what I could see here you have not been much active onset from when you made your first post here and there have been lots of replies and questions waiting for your response. This is not the best way to start here as a new casino. You are here for business and as such should be very much active to deliver your services to the masses here which would be of huge benefit to you and your casino.  Starting in such a way to keeping  your announcement thread very much active matters alot so I will advise you to be very much active or you employ a representative to do that because this speaks of great volume how your customer care service timely response and activeness is like.

I would advise you look into your announcement thread as it would be nice you do a good and professional announcement thread to help give a good image here. I see you made two links here which indicates that there are two different projects under your supervision which invariably means that you would need to separate them as earlier advised by a member here so as to make communication more easier amongst the users or your clients.

As you can see OP, there are lots of casinos out there and are strong contending forces here which you would need to match with. Having in mind that your casino is still new and would need publicity for popularity it would be nice going for advertisement and if you deem it fit doing advertisement I would advise you seek the expertise of a reputable manager here well experienced and vast to handle your promotional campaign. You can contact Royse777 as he is well known with several jobs successfully completed and  would deliver your project when it comes to advertisement.
