1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Am I the only one? [Cryptopia exchange][SOLVED] on: May 11, 2018, 07:35:40 PM
Good news everyone! Cryptopia fixed the problem regarding the deposit issue in Byteball in their platform earlier this day. We can now continue trading in their exchange but as for my case, I guess it will take me some time to use their platform again. It seems that their new update with regards on improving their support function just got implemented 3 days after I made my ticket and when I created another ticket again, I got a quick response and they already resolved the issue. Maybe my first ticket got flooded in the queue in their database through the old system of support.
Great news! Cryptopia maybe not the fastest exchange on market but they really know wht they do. Forget about ticket that's ok. Anyway this is good that you make it, because if they saw your ticket and checked the problem, other people that have the same problem as you they have chance to solve that problem cause you make ticket, so if you have some problems with deposit or something, wait for some time ( 24 hours ) and after that use support ticket. Anyway I'm using Cryptopia now and I like it. Hope they will work the same in the future .
1262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is technical analysis useful? on: May 10, 2018, 07:15:04 PM
This is not a good move to use technical analysis for crypto because this is very unstable and manipulating market. Because here we have so much "predictions" about BTC price or other that you really don't know what to do with that. One group shows their technical analysis where BTC will costs        20000  $ other shows their technical analysis where BTC will costs 5000 $ and everyone has their support levels or something with "strong" arguments and a lot of facts.
1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Am I the only one? [Cryptopia exchange] on: May 10, 2018, 07:00:33 PM
I should read this topic before I used cryptopia, cause I have the same problem. I sent token to my deposit and still no updates. I wrote to the support but I think they answer slowly. Anyway after using Etherdelta I thought that this is the worst exchange, but now  I changed my mind about DEX. Of course they have awful usability but they don't have problems with deposit or withdraw funds.
I sent not so much tokens and this is only one good news. I can say that was my first and maybe last transaction on that exchange.
What issues did you have with cryptopia? I mean, what coin did you have deposit problems with? Great for you that they fixed it immediately. I've been waiting for almost 2 weeks to get my problems fixed but still no luck. Currently, I can't create another support ticket to them and I was wondering why. I really want to do a follow up with them.
As I wrote before they fixed all problems, but I think it's just mine fault, because usually is you try to get deposit it takes 24 hours or something.
I didn't want to wait and afraid that I didn't see coins on deposit but in 24 hours they were on deposit.
I sold DIVX there and I use only address that Cryptopia gave to me. Maybe you missed something or used other address?
Why you can't create ticked? I did that without any problem? What's wrong?

1265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta sucks on: May 06, 2018, 04:50:40 PM
I do not like to use etherdelta or fork because the selling price is very cheap. Why does everyone want to sell on etherdelta? Does everyone not want to wait in the big market to sell it.
Some people remember when Etherdelta had volume and that was the first marketplace for not so popular altcoins. A lot of people traded there. I had some experience too, but when Etherdelta was hacked people lost their faith to the team and project. They did do anything and tried to use old popularity of that exchange than it was fork - forkdelta. I used Forkdelat too but now they don't work. In general I mean. Very slow website without volume. I think in 2-3 month no one can ever remember about Etherdelta. Now IDEX and other trades try to replace Etherdelta for users. IDEX has more volume and good design. I hate how etherdelta looks and works . IDEX much more comfortable for me. But anyway we need more good DEX trades.
1266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Am I the only one? [Cryptopia exchange] on: May 06, 2018, 04:26:20 PM
If there is a problem with an exchange, it is best to perform the stages determined by the exchange supporter.
after that stage is done you should be patient until your problem is complete. and do not say anything bad with no evidence, this causes others to hesitate to use the exchange.
Yea my bad. I have to say that this is not bad exchange. No so fast as binance of course, but not bad as Yobit. They have good support that can help you to settle your question and if you have some problems (that takes more than 24 hours) with deposit or with withdraw your funds don't waste your time and write to the support directly. Usually it takes some time, about 24 hours or less but they always try to answer and help you if they can.
So if you have some rare altcoins and don't like Etherdelta - Cryptopia would be a good choice, but be careful. Read instructions carefully and don't try to break rules .
1267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do people use bad exchanges like YoBIt? on: May 06, 2018, 04:17:25 PM
Yobit is a worst exchange on market I think. If it is not an urgent need and you have choice don't trade there. Scammers like this exchange. A lot of pumps happens there. This is favorite exchange for pump groups. Scam projects need Yobit because they don't want that their ICO looking as a direct scam and they prefer to "trade" their tokens there. It's like it's ok guys we're not a scam our token available on Yobit... But some tokens have 200 $ volume and 10 000 of ICO participants. If some ICO listing their token on Yobit - this is definately scam (in some way) .
Of almost forgot they don't even think support. I wrote a lot of messages but there are still no responding.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin Prices Will Down! on: May 06, 2018, 04:09:30 PM
There's nothing wrong with that. Ethereum and bitcoin are more stable and reliable coins. therefore, many go into them

Mostly if bitcoin is pumping, some altcoins are dumping but this situation is different now simply because some altcoins are now following the trend of bitcoin especially with ETH which is also an altcoin. Reading chart is ok but I think its hard use it in this kind of market.
For some reason I think altcoins don't follow to the BTC now. Because yesterday when BTC went up most of alts, especially from 300-700th places went down, maybe people sold it and tried to buy BTC before 10 000, but unfortunately BTC couldn't get 10 Grand. I really hoped that BTC can get 10 000 yesterday. I think that would be very important sign for all market, not just for traders but for the people too. When they will see how BTC rising again they believe in crypto and won't think that crypto is a scam.
1269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is IDEX exchange legit? on: May 06, 2018, 04:02:59 PM
Of course IDEX is legit because this is the best DEX exchange on market right now I think. Maybe this is not so simple to make an exchange there if we mean usability but they have a lot of altcoins and also you can use Metamask for trades. I usually do that. After Etherdelta I don't use private keys. This is not very convenient  market place if you trade les than 0.1 eth . So don't try to trade there with low deposit.
1270  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ERC20 Exchange (DEX) on: May 05, 2018, 12:51:34 PM
Ye after etha delta, a good DEX is very needed. I suppose I trust NEO to carry this out although I'm not sure how they plan to balance being a centralised platform with a decentralised exchange running on top.
Agree with you. Etherdelta was awful exchange but now we don't have any good replacement. IDEX trade well but they have not so much volume, DDEX the same. So we need some DEX exchange with good usability and good day volume, cause if Binance has 2 billion and Etherdelta just 2 millions volume for a day, so I guess there are no future for DEX trade. I perefer DEX too, but even I registered on some regular exchanges cause I can't sell some coins on DEX exchanges there are still low volume.
1271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin Prices Will Down! on: May 05, 2018, 12:44:02 PM
This is a fairly common situation for market, cause when BTC and ETH price increases people prefer to buy stable coins from first 10, and they sold ( or don't buy) altcoins and that's happening again and again. After seller will sell BTC or ETH they try to buy some altcoins cause they can give much more profit. In some time I think about 1 week will see how altcoins go pump. But in general some good alcoins can win the race from not so good alcoins. I bought one alt from 400 th palce and now tthey go down to 700th so that was not a good choice. Don't buy all, do your research before investing. Now some good altcons still undervalued.
1272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Am I the only one? [Cryptopia exchange] on: May 05, 2018, 12:35:00 PM
Well to be honest I should say that they finished the transfer amd today I sold my coins and all went well. So I was a little upset yesterday and now I think I'm not right. Cause I wrote to the support and they fixed all my problems, so I think I would use cryptopia again if It will be necessary.
If you have problems write to the support directly and don't waste your time. Maybe 1 day delay it's proper for that exchange but not more .

1275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nasdaq May Launch Bitcoin Trading in October 2018 on: April 29, 2018, 01:51:03 PM
It's a great news for every crypto lovers especially in the US.
Here's a cnbc article about it
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/04/25/nasdaq-is-open-to-becoming-cryptocurrency-exchange-ceo-says.html

If NASDAQ started crypto exchange, that would certainly change the way people (investors) view cryptocurrencies.
If NASDAQ started crypto exchange I can't imagine what hype we will see and how many investors come to this market. That would be huge and crypto make a new step to adop in a "real world". Investors can bring new money to the market and can help people believe that crypto it's not a bubble, but real deal for a long time.
1276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading don't work for me too well on: April 29, 2018, 06:27:15 AM
Have lost so much money on coins that doesn't work well for me. My flaws are I'm  impatient and ignorant this maybe a good time to find some insight and good answers on how to get better
You're not alone. I have the same problems and as you can see  some people here have the same. Don't worry it's just a question of time. When I first came to the market I made a lot of mistakes . Bought on high and sold on the deep, but I used money that I'm not affraid to lost. I had some free money and I used them to trade. Now I have some progress but I decided to search good coins and hold it for a long time and ou kno that strategy works. Good coin with great team, product and vision will win anyway, so I'm not worried. So maybe instead of trading you spend some time to research market and good coin. Because I know that some people just can't get trading at all and that's stupid to fight to your nature.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ethereum be beat Bitcoin on: April 29, 2018, 06:15:30 AM
I don't that this is correct question in general. Why ETH shoudl beat Bitcoin? They both have their strong communities. ETH community believe to this platform and believe Vitalik. Also a lot of ICO used ETH as a platform for ICO, so all coins based on ETH and used ERC-20 token also support Ethereum. Huge coproration joined Ethreum Alliance and all this legal. BTC have largest and "oldest' community on market. This is the first and the biggest coin on  market and a lot of people believe to them cause they now that general ideas and general principles that platform based on still working without changing. Bitcoin still alive and Lightening network good example that BTC can have progress too.
1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed and crypto !! on: April 28, 2018, 08:43:04 PM
For now actually I don't feel thirsty cause I felt the same on december when I bought some coins. Fortunately some of these coins was profitable even on a red market, but anyway You should be very careful with your thoughts. I can say that cause I had the same experience. Greed is not good especially when you're can be calm on the storm. Sometimes I think that I could lose more, but fortunately I didn't have a lot of money and I stopped. Be careful with trading and buying on high prices when prices go down you shoud be ready to that and you need some cash for living. Don't invest more than you can lose. This is the important thing that you should understand.
1279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EOS price pumping, near $20 now on: April 28, 2018, 08:32:57 PM
EOS was one of the best deals for me this month, I've bought it for 5.85$ on April, 8 and was fixing some profit on ~10$ and ~15$ price levels. I agree that 20$ will be around the top of this pump, so i'm going to sell some more keeping the rest as long-term investment with hope to rebuy cheaper later in may and trade new bag on mainnet realease pump.
You're lucky! I thought to buy some, but affraid that EOS will dump soon and lost that deal. Anyway It's hard to me to invest some products or coins that I don't believe in. I should really know that this  woud be working and promising technology. EOS was 6 or 7th on the market and I couldn't imagine that EOS can do something more. Now it's 5 coin if I'm not mistaken. Still I see some problems with that. ETH already working, BTC and Bitcoin cash worked some time, LTC since 2011 , but we haven't seen EOS ? Would that be a good platform for users? Isn't EOS expensive right now? But for traders and people who joined EOS before it was a good time. Unfotunately I don't have so good skills to trade with cold heart. I always start thinking and been nerveous when I'm trying to trade coins. Hodl much more easy for me.

Thank you, sir! Diversification is the key. I have the biggest part of portfolio in HODL mode too, but i use another part for mid-term trading also. And i like to have platform coins like EOS, ETH, ICX, ADA, STRAT and some others in both parts, in some i believe more, in other less, but they all are very good for mid-term trading imho, you don't even need technical analysis for it, because they always act out upcoming events due to high expectations, strong communities around etc.
Agree about Diversification. When I started I had 4 or 5 coins but some time later I bought more and more one of my coins and I didn't really remeber how but my portfolio was concentrate around one coin and this token concentrated something about 75% of all my portfolio. When market came red I saw how my funds almost gone , but other coins helped me to see that diversification it's most important part of the investing. It doesn't matter how this coin could be good, but you should have plan B. Now I use some coins to trade, but not often, so that helped me to bought more ETH. I like ADA and stratis but for now I prefer ETH. Anyway crypto need more working platform and I hope ada and stratis could help with that.
