1261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Online Wallet iPayYou Adds Bitcoins to Amazon Shopping on: November 24, 2016, 02:41:42 PM
It's definitely a good way to buy from Amazon If you are in a hurry but If you can wait It's probably better to stop using purse.io , Gyft or any other services. Instead , you could buy gift cards from individuals on the forums , It would cost much much less then using any of the services mentioned above.

Just be careful of Paxful. When I was looking around for gift cards I stumbled upon them. Most of the cards are stolen if your buying a large balance.

I know and that's why I suggested to use the forums instead , It's easier to spot scammers/carders around here then on other P2P Platforms . It's a risk we should take for the moment anyway until Amazon starts accepting Bitcoin directly , If that ever happens.
1262  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Selling digital goods for bitcoin? on: November 24, 2016, 01:11:01 PM
I am looking for other sites similar to https://rocketr.net/ that allow you to sell digital goods for bitcoin.
Does anyone know any sites where you can sell giftcard codes, etc on the website? I am looking for a trustworthy site that has low fees.

Thanks  Cheesy Cheesy

Most of people nowadays use Sellfy.gg to sell their digital goods but people won't use the link unless they trust you . If you have too much goods to sell then running a website in your own would be much better . According to them , they don't charge any fees and only fees applied are the gateway's specific fee.

I checked your PM and the translation and If I understood, I think It's not going to work since you are basically asking users to click ads in order to get paid and that's against the rules of every ad network out there (including Unity ads)

I have a question.

I am trying to download Ethereum Wallet allready for 10 days. This is crazy.
Is this normal that it takes so long?

What are your expriences?

Which wallet do you recommend,  Ethereum Wallet or MyEtherWallet?

Do both wallets  support dividends?

In addiction to ICONOMI ICO account , all wallets should support receiving dividends as long as they give you control of the private keys  , Myetherwallet is the best If you don't want to download the whole blockchain , It's also easy to use and ICNs are implemented by default so there is no need to add a contract or anything.
1266  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Just spotted a double-spend scam. Be wary guys! on: November 24, 2016, 10:28:16 AM
At least you didn't fall for the scam. If the user you was going to trade with is on the forums then you should post his profile , that way some DefaultTrust members will give him a negative trust and you should move this to scam accusation too.
1267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TV series and Bitcoin on: November 24, 2016, 09:38:10 AM
Bitcoin was mentioned in The Good Wife for multiple times and It first wasn't that bad : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fazu1rgr9k and Bitcoin wasn't even known that time.
A few years later on the 5th Season , episode 20 . It got mentioned once again and related to Silk road : http://watchseries.cr/series/the-good-wife/season/5/episode/20 , start watching from minutes 5 .

I got no answer from Ahmed about translation. Sad

Same thing for me , I keep checking Slack as well and there is nothing. He promised that I should have an answer by last Monday (21 November) and It's being three days now and there is nothing from him.

I could be interested If the idea is good and I know more details about the project but I can't understand turkish so It would be better If you could translate that topic to english at least and post it here or something...

How to mine this coin?

It's not possible to mine Safecoins , you have to farm them instead. From the official website :
Safecoins are given as an incentive to users for providing their resource to the network. This resource is their: storage space, CPU, bandwidth and online time that enable the encrypted chunks of network data to be stored and retrieved from their computer. The process of providing resource and receiving safecoin in return is called ‘Farming’
1271  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bit lending club on: November 21, 2016, 07:12:04 PM
Do you have to be 100% verified to use it? I'm having trouble coming up with my income information. As far as everything else, I'm good to go

If they have an algorithm that gives you points and based on those points you gain a grade A,B,C etc... like most of the lending platforms have then you don't need to be fully verified to get the loan but having being 100% verified definitely helps gaining trust and getting your loan request filled fast.

1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Spectrecoin [SPEC] Untraceable | Ring Signatures | PoSv3 on: November 20, 2016, 06:55:43 PM
I can't find anything about the team on spectreproject.io for some reasons , I hope It's not the same case as KOMODO where only aliases from Github or Bitcointalk will be available otherwise the project won't have much credibility compared to others.
1274  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What DB do you use at your end? on: November 20, 2016, 06:38:35 PM
So, most people use MySQL here, but also recommend SQLite and Realm.io. I am missing Oracle, though. In my story, I was using Oracle for several months up to now and it has nice features like highly customizable locking configuration. Although I used and agree with the excellence of the listed other DBs, why am I so lonely with my Oracle as a favorit?

Oracle is considered as one of the most powerful RDBMS, don't under estimate it. It's mostly the companies that use Oracle and here why as for the differences you could check this article from Udemy or Oracle documentation
1275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💸💸💸 【ChronoBank】 🌟🌟🌟 【ICO】 💸💸💸 on: November 19, 2016, 08:17:33 AM
waiting for bounty thread or any signature campaign if any..i would like to join.

I see the ad outside of this forum, great marketing skills, maybe you need to do more inside forum promotions, like signature campaign, which is the most used in the forum, to get forum investors.

More info about signature campaigns should be available tomorrow according to them.

There been anlot of hype & exposure about Chronobank.io. Good marketing strategy for the team.

Is there a cap/ maximum amount you want to raise for the ICO?

They already released their development plan on their Blog and Website [PDF]
1276  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase asked to provide info from 2013-2015 to IRS. So far they are hedging. on: November 19, 2016, 08:06:49 AM
I don't think we can say that this is wasn't excepted . We should except this from other services in the upcoming years too as Bitcoin is becoming known all over the world.
That's why I personally don't use centralized exchanges or at least those who asks for ID verification.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Inventing the Altcoin on: November 19, 2016, 06:55:03 AM
If people were using Bitcoin and Altcoins for no real reason and simply because It's faster and has lower fees then most people may switch otherwise no one is going to use it as governments wants to control and It's impossible for them to make something decentralized. Those who use crypto currencies in Darknet and care about their privacy will never switch.
1278  Other / Meta / Re: is this some kind of new feature: on: November 19, 2016, 06:19:35 AM
It's not anything new as far as I know , It's just that people just figured out that the forums accepts this kind of stuff. It's possible to get different icons through Emojipedia.org then you just copy and paste them. 🍓 🍓

1280  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: play sound on new incoming payment on: November 18, 2016, 12:19:17 PM
According to github the sound request is still an open issue: https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/1568

There are system tray notifications though, maybe that will suit your needs?

How to enable them? Haven't found an option for notifications at all.

It's not possible to enable them from the settings, having sound on transaction was suggested on Github but was never added as ThomasV requested a pull request and whoever made the suggestion never did it. If you know what you are doing then you could edit the code source and compile it your self otherwise just don't do anything and wait till It gets implemented.
