1261  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BITPAY SUPPORT TEAM on: December 22, 2017, 10:34:35 PM
You've been waiting for 5days, weekends exluded? Maybe there are tons of tickets until today that causes the delay. You could contact them through twitter as well, https://twitter.com/bitpay , I saw them replying to some users' queries there.

From their site about how many days to wait:
Quote
UPDATED 9/22/17

While we aim to reply within 1 business day, please allow up to 3 business days for first response. We are currently working to clear a backlog of over 1,000 tickets so we can get back to meeting our service standards.

We apologize to everyone affected by this delay, and we ask for your patience as we work to answer your inquiry. We are making important changes to our product and support processes to streamline your user and support experiences.

We put priority on tickets submitted first. We also aim to answer issues requiring bitcoin refunds first. We work from oldest to newest, so please do not send more emails for the same issue. This will move your inquiry out of its place in our support queue.

Please note that our support team's hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 4 AM EST - 8 PM EST.
1262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: cex.io 1 Eth for 790$ while 670$ on coinmarketcap and livecoinwatch on: December 22, 2017, 09:31:52 PM
The price depends on the volume and market activity for every exchange so you can't see all of them with the same price. Coinmarketcap as stated in their FAQ "Price is calculated by taking the volume weighted average of all prices reported at each market. Sources for the prices can be found on the markets section on each cryptocurrency page.".

For example, a coin/token pump hard in cex.io but not so much in others because of volume difference. Coinmarketcap will get the average of all available markets listed so the price to be shown there would be lower than the price you see in cex.io.

Another point is sometimes not all market is listed in coinmarketcap, the price would be different if you add another market right. So for me use it as guide but remember that your success still depends on you and the exchange you are on.
1263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MyEtherWallet.com - ETH moved to another address! Am I hacked??? on: December 22, 2017, 08:52:38 PM
Turns out I got phished by a fake myetherwallet site using the unicode domain name trick to look like the real one.

My fault.
To avoid getting phished again, bookmark the real website https://www.myetherwallet.com/ in your browser. I also suggest you to install EAL or Metamask, both are blocking malicious URLs. And of course, always check the URL no matter what.
1264  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exmo.com exchange problem on: December 21, 2017, 07:48:13 PM
Hey guys!
I've got technical problem with withdrawing coins from my exmo account and support do not answer me for a week.
Is this okay or i should start to worry?
Exmo's account also do not respond PMs
The only choice is to wait for the response of their support. Here's their main thread, several users are also waiting for the reply and some for their withdrawals to succeed. Most exchanges have the same issue of slow support (maybe they can't handle the volume).

Is exmo scam ? I wanted to deposit some BTC and cash out to EUR...
I suggest you to look for another option without withdrawal issues.
1265  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Launch of ROAD market - Bitcoin Shopping Marketplace - Android - Google Play on: December 21, 2017, 06:22:17 PM
The buyers see the price in dollars and pay in Bitcoin? How is the process of buying? Is this a direct buy (add to cart) or the buyer need to contact the seller first? Also, when to see the amount to pay in Bitcoin? I assume it was based on the current BTC price.

I didn't see the answers in google play description that's why I asked here.
1266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta got hacked! Dont use it for now!! on: December 21, 2017, 12:23:20 AM
Saw this tweet earlier too. Did they just update on twitter about this or there are other post? I think not all could see that if ever.

Be careful folks, don't get phished.

1/2 *IMPORTANT* we have reason to believe that there had been malicious attacks that temporarily gained access to @etherdelta DNS server. We are investigating this issue right now - in the meantime please *DONOT* use the current site.

2/2 *BE AWARE* The imposer's app has no CHAT button on the navigation bar nor the offical Twitter Feed on the bottom right. It is also populated with a fake order book.
1267  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Jaac Gift Card Scam Alert on: December 20, 2017, 10:51:33 PM
Much better if you include a proof to support your statement. Anyway, by checking his account you shouldn't have transacted with him. If you'd check, he was tagged with negative trust all because of scamming. Also, there were several threads here in scam accusation like this and this. Be extra careful next time
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: HitBTC Support Not Answering Tickets on: December 20, 2017, 09:00:38 PM
They could help you solve your problem. In your ticket you should include your transaction hash and tell them what happened. After that, what you have to do is to wait for their response. I checked their FAQ about Recovery of mistakenly sent deposits and I saw this:

Quote
Blockchain transactions are not reversible.

In case you’re accidentally sending money to the wrong address, which means that nobody has the keys to that address, your coins are most certainly lost forever. Please make sure before performing a transaction that the destination address contains no typos and mistakes.

However, if you accidentally deposit one currency to another’s address on HitBTC, we are most likely able to help you. For example, sending ETH tokens to your ETC address, or one token to another’s address, or BTC to USDT address - these kinds of mistakes are reversible.

Please note than Bitcoin Cash coins, sent to Bitcoin address (BCH to BTC), could not be refunded!

Nevertheless, the correction of such mistakes requires quite an amount of labour of several people. That is not an easy process, and it requires time. Here’s how we handle it:

Mistakenly sent deposit is being credited to your account within 2 months after we confirm that it’s possible to do so
The equivalent of $100 is being deducted from the amount of that deposit.
In case you encounter such issue, please file a ticket to us. Provide us with your transaction hash and describe the essence of the problem. We would be glad to help!

1269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2017-12-20] Litecoin Founder Cashes Out, Sells Entire Stake After 9,300% Rally on: December 20, 2017, 07:43:03 PM
He still has a LTC stored in physical coins, so he's not putting LTC into trash. I wonder how many physical coins he has, though. Huh This news will surely cause doubt to some supporters who are holding LTC now so they will dump theirs, but might be a good news to others as well and see it as an opportunity to buy more. Anyway, he stated that he's not quitting Litecoin and will still spend his time working on it, so let's see what happen in the coming days.
1270  Economy / Exchanges / Re: EXMO - Exmo stole my bitcoin (inquiry 247198) on: December 20, 2017, 04:56:36 PM
Haven't used this exchange, maybe it's delay because of the congested network. There were same scenarios in other exchanges, completed transaction but without TX ID given and didn't receive in wallet. Consider posting in their main thread, I saw that EXMO account has been active answering queries there recently.
1271  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ID Verification and more on: December 20, 2017, 12:41:52 AM
What is the basic verification that you guys are talking about? Is it just putting a number in, a real name, email etc or do you still need to put your passport number but just no photo id?
You just need to submit your real name, address, and birth date, nothing more. They will verify it, if passed you'll be eligible to withdraw max .4 BTC worth per day with 2FA enabled and you'll be fine without doing the Enhanced verification.
1272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: December 19, 2017, 09:12:22 PM
WHERE CAN I BUY ICOBID COINS?

WHAT ARE THE FEES OF BUYING THEM AND SELLING THEM?

CAN YOU PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO I CAN PURCHASE, THANK YOU.
You could buy ICOB with BTC in Cryptopia https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=ICOB_BTC . As far as I remember there is 0.20% fee for every buy/sell order there. Withdraw fee for BTC seems to be lower again 0.001 while 0.01 for ICOB.
1273  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin.com co-founder sells all his BTC for BTC Cash on: December 19, 2017, 07:47:29 PM
What I first noticed was it is co-founder in the title and founder in the content of the blog (inaccurate). He could just sell his BTC without the public knowing or without saying where he'll invest after but he did. Most likely a marketing strategy for BitcoinCash imo.

I would catalogue this as FUD.

The matter of fact is that he's not the founder of bitcoin, he's just some guy that is involved with an independant website that is pro-BCC
I agree with this.
1274  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ID Verification and more on: December 19, 2017, 06:16:49 PM
Bittrex and Poloniex are the best alternatives. I believe that Bittrex now ask for information's (just fill your profile) but no need for ID or residence proof.
It depends on the situation in Bittrex. If ever you passed the Basic Verification by filling out the form, there will be no problem. However, there are scenarios that your data will not match with any of their records so you need to do the Enhanced Verification which require an ID and Selfie in order to request a withdrawal.

@aTriz if you'll be using Bittrex, try the Basic Verification first to check if you'll pass before sending any coin.
1275  Economy / Gambling / Re: ChainBomb.com - ltc game - the best bomb deminer ! on: December 19, 2017, 03:43:09 PM
In contrast of Panda Trump, it doesn't sound fun to me. User only needs to send 0.002 and just wait for other players, seem to work like a lottery. Would be better if players will do something to beat others or any kind of twist to be interesting and challenging.

Btw, how would you earn if the winner gets all bets (0.012 BTC)?

Interesting... But lemme ask you... Do you actually like to play Dice Rolling games like Freebitco.in 's, roullette or anything similar? Or do you just hate the nature of gambling?
The point of gambling is to get addicted and let the casino owners obtain all your money. This model is perfect for that. 0.012 is sent in, 0.01 goes to the winner and 0.002 goes to the company's profits per game!

An interesting detail you obviously missed is that they plan on using LTC (Litecoin) instead of BTC (Bitcoin), thus the fees will be much lower and the transactions will be much faster.
It's also a great way of promoting Litecoin by using it for what it's meant to be used for: Payment.
Is this game addicting? My opinion is without twist, it would be boring. The model is perfect for what (the bold part)?
Don't conclude too much, how did you say that I missed (ooh you even used the word obviously) that they will be using LTC? I was aware for your info.

Would be better if players will do something to beat others or any kind of twist to be interesting and challenging.
I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. You said you didn't agree with me, but you're also requesting a certain twist/challenge? I did exactly the same...
The reason why you're not sure was because you over react. I just said it doesn't sound fun to me in contrast to you, but you conclude (again) that it's for all your statement. In addition, that was an opinion.

Btw, how would you earn if the winner gets all bets (0.012 BTC)?
The winner doesn't get all bets. He multiplies his bet by 5, so 0.002 -> 0.01. That means 0.002 LTC remains and that goes to the company.
Yeah, it was noted that it will be multiplied by 5, but on the site, it's showing 0.012 as bomb value beside the winner hash. I wonder if you really check the site or you just comment based on the main post?
1276  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Missing BTC in my Electrum wallet even though gdax confirmed transfer on: December 18, 2017, 11:22:33 PM
Have you checked the transaction ID in the block explorer? If not, you should check it to see the status [ https://blockchain.info/ , https://blockexplorer.com/ ]. As far as I know, deposit in GDAX is unlimited while withdrawal has $10k/day limit but does not require any amount of transfer. Maybe you read about the minimum trade order?
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Bad jump destination] on: December 18, 2017, 09:57:22 PM
Happened to me as well the other day. I think the problem is low Gas price setup in your wallet, but maybe it could be that the order is already filled.
I think it is not a Gas problem, as I experienced both before. If it was Gas you'll be getting this error "Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Out of gas]".

I got "Warning! Error encountered during contract execution [Bad jump destination]" before when I was sending a token [vSlice] out of MEW during the time that it was locked. In any way, does Equal token have lock period?
1278  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long does it take to make a buy and a sell? on: December 18, 2017, 08:06:52 PM
Answering the how long does it take, there's no specific nor accurate range, it all depends on the situation. Yes, it varies for every coin, also in the volume and market activity, price, and percentage of profit you want. If you're really new into this, I suggest you to practice first (maybe in a demo account) just to know how it works and what to consider. Every day scenario will most likely be different, it's not always a win win situation for day traders.

1280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam donation email posing from BitcoinTalk.org on: December 18, 2017, 12:17:11 PM
Yes, the address is different from the legit donation page. Also, I never heard before that bitcointalk is sending any email to it's users about donation for having a donator or vip status. Anyway, you still need to PM theymos before donating so I think if this is a scam, it won't work.
