1261  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Chinese Ships Breach Japanese Territory. Another war? on: September 16, 2012, 09:47:31 PM
Sure. WW3 will be about a small uninhabited island. With no notable resources and no tactical importance.

On the other Hand. Wars have been fought for even more stupid reasons.

No, no tactical importance except the whole of the 3rd Marine Division is still there lol. Don't know if you guys keep up with BRAC and things like that, but the U.S. is shifting its forces to the Asian theater. In fact the U.S. just opened a base in Australia, and is expanding operations in the area. Don't forget the 2 MEU's that generally float in the area. We have a strong interest in that rock called "japan" for the reason china does, its close to them. If anything was to ever go wrong between the U.S. and China the launch point would be from Japan, the U.S. likes to keep those kind of things know so it keeps other countries in "Check".

1268  Bitcoin / Project Development / Business forum bitcoinbusiness.org on: September 16, 2012, 07:03:26 PM
Need some people to give me some imput.

This forum would be a forum for business hence the name. The forum would have a section for business to post about themselves and not fear hijacks. The Business section you would only be able to post things that have to do with the business, anything said on the post must have some sort of proof if it is negative.
There is a area for Business and Member reviews. In the business are people can post review and dealings with a specific business, you can call the aliens here for all we care just tell us what led you to believe it. The member review will work a little different, Only the User can start a thread to open themselves for review. In order to review a person you must show a transaction link of some sort as proof it really happened. If you fail to leave a trace, the user can request your review deleted.
A section for contracts will be provided just so these traces can be provided.

Check it out register, post tell me what you think. I might need some mods let see how this goes!

Oh yea there is a purpose besides business to this forum, with any money generated by this forum we will be using it to put add in magazines, papers and things of that sort to get the word out about bitcoin and grow our community!

There is a chat room and some arcade game if you get bored!

Gweedo is not allowed to post on this thread.

Go with 100% business only, strict rules about posting on types of threads,

Like the securities thread, Should be allowed only for posting that pertains to news or valid information about the IPO. Then leave a section for IPO review that people can talk about IPO's and say whatever they want.

Make a section for Lending business, Mining, Deposits, High Risk non backed securities and "Real World" I say real world like someone was to say they were going to open a bar, they could post there about how they are going to go about it.

People of course could ask questions but not just come on there and say " Your idea sucks your a scammer" They can put that in the IPO Reviews with there proof or notion why.  Do not allow for duel IP registration this will stop SOME not all sock puppets. If people do not obey the rules to the sections of the forum block them from that section. I think a respectful approach would be the best, not a Noob gamer type thing like here. Require members to have logged time only to post in the IPO section and Reviews.

1274  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking to start a Bitcoin community site on: September 15, 2012, 10:01:57 PM
Hello, I'm looking to start a Bitcoin community website. Something like a nice CMS with forums that would have latest news about Bitcoin and maybe even a widget that could view exchanges. I've already got the domain and hosting, so I'm looking for a partner or two that have at least some web/graphic design experience. Not trying to make and money off of this, just something to do for fun. If you have any suggestions that you think could expand on my ideas, feel free to PM me.

Think you should make it a Business only forum, post rules about off topic posts, trolls and other things. This site fails to maintain a business type stance, its more like a gamer forum or something.
1275  Economy / Lending / Re: 2000-4000 BTC loan - Hookah Lounge on: September 15, 2012, 09:59:20 PM
I plan on building a good amount of the furniture myself, at least bench seating, the sage and what not.

Have you EVER built furniture? You realize it has to pass inspection, right? Do you know what goes into making furniture? Do you know what the weight rating is for the fiberboard backing? Do you know how to properly attach coverings? Do you know what is the proper filling to use for furniture?

Seriously, you think you can just build a picnic bench?
I've built a deck.  Yeah.

Let's keep this thread on topic, please.

Dank My man, look for old churches and buy there benches. Just add backing to them and padding if they don't have them already. You might have to rent a U-haul and drive away's but I think you could save some serious cash that way. If not I'm sure you can read a blueprint on how to build a bench....... It's not rocket science or carpenters would got to college lol

Common Questions and Answers

Q. Why should I wait for the equipment delivery when I can get hashing now? Why should I wait for returns?
Answer: Because you are actually buying the equipment with others. You have a right to 100% of the equipment's sale if it is voted to be sold if and when people want to stop the operation. You get lower administrative fees and better advantages that way for waiting some time and pre-funding your own equipment instead of buying a fraction of a current mining operation.
Q. Why 35% reinvested?
Because under that model, we would get more and more shares for simply replacing the equipment, basically keeping the same hashing power for a growing amount of share while still having to sell as many shares at the same price for each replacement. Shares dilution would occur and the operation would die out since people don't pay for the replacement of the equipment power associated to their shares. Getting new shares sales to pay for the replacement of the hashing of your old shares would not be right. Equipment needs to be replaced and extra equipment added for the shares to gain value and the operation to grow. You also need growing hashing power to compete with increasing difficulty.
Q. I am afraid others won't buy or like it. What if shares don't sell fast enough and my funds are withheld for a long period until we can purchase equipment?
Answer: There's a maximum period for the IPO of 2 months OCT 15th don't think people should scuttlebutt interfere with how they place their money. If the goal amount is not reached then we will vote on what to do next to refund or invest the money.
Its going great no need to worry!
