With 84  per vbyte OP had to wait for his luck which means it's a mess around in the mempool. I can not remember we had such congestion before not even in 2017/2018 when btc had it's highest pick. Not long ago there were tx which was only 1  per vbyte confirmed in the next block.
I even used 0.00014165 BTC (100.5 sat/byte) for the current transaction fee and it has been about 24 hours since it was confirmed.
The Bitcoin network congestion this time is very disturbing. this is because the network is full of NFTs and BRC20 tokens

I have no idea what are these NFTs and BTC20. Are we using bitcoin chain for those altcoin shits?

Mempool seems cooling down a bit. Last time I checked it was over 500 vMB but now I am seeing it's 120 vMB. May be we need one or two more weeks before we get rid of these mess.

Yes we pay all the fees also if they increase
I am just curious to get the answer. Right now for a single output from a single input, the fees is over $40 which means even if someone is requesting an withdrawal of $100 you are losing $140+. What is the minimum withdrawal limit you have in the system and how are you handling these small withdrawal requests. Clearly processing btc withdrawal are too expensive considering the current situation.

1263  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay CONFISCATING 291mbtc of fair NBA winnings on: May 08, 2023, 03:24:18 PM
Returning players deposits and confiscating their winnings should always be a red flag - there are very few cases where doing so is the appropriate decision for a casino.  A players balance belongs to the player.  It doesn't matter how much they deposited.
A players balance does not belongs to the player always. When a player is earning the balance from manipulation, abusing terms, abusing bonus, fixing match, arbitraging that is not appreciated by any sportsbook then the balance is not his, even the deposit they made can be confiscated by the sportsbook according to their terms.

Please do not ever give a casino a pass because they returned a deposit and only kept player winnings.
I will suggest you not give a pass to a player too when you do not know if he was manipulating you, hiding information from you. You have no way to verify anything except trusting him. In fact you and me have no way to verify anything presented by the sportsbook too.

I like how Stunna handled a confirmed fraude case:
Quote from: Stunna in 2018
I'd like to stop this right here and make clear that this is not a matter of money but rather a matter of principle. I'm happy to donate at minimum the funds involved in this claim to a charity of the community's choosing.
That makes it clear they don't profit off it, and stops any accusations that they do it for the money.
I think we need to consider the level of experience a project representative have in the community. Stunna, Steve from sportsbet.iom Karl and some others know how the community works in terms of their marketing but these new casino / sportsbooks launching everyday all the time, do not have much idea about how to handle their PR on the forum. May be it's our failure but that does not mean they have intention to scam anyone especially when they are spending money on building a good reputation for their project.

Also, just to alert you, Bitcoin network is currently congested. Something I did not foresee. Currently, because there are many inputs and there will be 10-11 outputs in the prize payment, estimated fees as of today for next-block confirmation is 23 mbtc -- that's around $650 in fees!
Goodness me, that's unbelievable amount of fees to pay. We still have time for the season to end which means you don't need to worry about the fees right now. Before the time, i hope the congestion will become normal as 1 or 2 per vbyte will be enough to get the next block.

Hey guys, just a friendly reminder to add your BTC addresses into this spreadsheet (add it as a comment as shown in image below). Only KTChampions has added his address. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vrzw33PXrTcGv3wHLbMPnCbL8iauGsfeUzWfGmw7FmQ/edit#gid=0
As far as I remember I already gave the btc address but it's not showing on the spreadsheet. You must missed it. Here it is again,

You should expect an option which is "Cancel (double-spend)"
OP's transaction hasn't been flagged as RBF and that's why that option is not available.

To OP:
Your tranaction hasn't been flagged as RBF and there is no way to bump the fee or cancel it (cancel=replace the transaction with a new one sending the fund to your own address.)

You can submit your transaction to ViaBTC free accelerator. With doing so, your transaction will be likely confirmed in the next block mined by ViaBTC. They have around 9% of the total hash rate and mine a block around every 2 hours on average.
Then OP have two options.
One: Either use the accelerator
Two: Wait for mempool to drop the transaction after around 7 days but looking at the fees set, I am sure it will be confirmed earlier than 7 days. May be in the next one or two days.

Seems the transaction is already in the blockchain...
Quite a few confirmations by now!

Hi we are changing the reward system and we would like to have some feedback before launch the new system

What kind of rewards/bonuses do you like ?

Welcome bonuses , cashback , freespins etc ?

or what kind of rewards would you like to see in an online casino ?

Thanks
Free bet. May be monthly 1 or 2 mBTC free bet with 1x wagering requirement. I find free bets are more attractive for me than any other promotion.

For me welcome bonus is good too but if you give 30x, 15x , 10x or even 5x wagering requirement then it's a waste of time. I can accept highest 2x to wager before the bonus to become cash balance. But 1x is always preferable.
1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Back and Lay in sportbook on: May 08, 2023, 07:38:22 AM
I'm not an expert when it comes to different terms in sportsbook and gambling. I usually place bets on X to win, X to score etc in cricket and soccer both. I have never seen the terms "back" and "lay" in any Casino. Maybe I didn't notice them. I joined a casino today and found both terms and I'm confused what should I do. It says back (1.03) and Lay (1.04). What does these terms mean? Any easy explanation?
A quick google would have answered your question. When you place a "back" bet, you are betting that the team is going to win. The kind of betting you do in most of the sportsbook where you bet in a team that you think will win and if they win, you receive your payout. "Lay" is exactly the opposite When you place a "lay" bet, you bet that this team isn't going to win. You become the bookmaker here. If the team does win, you will payout x1.04 to the players (that backed for that team).
I have been in the gambling for over 15 years and to be honest I never seen such market yet LOL.

@Little Mouse, it would be kind to do a screenshot and post it please? I am interested to see the format of the market.

I am assuming it's a single team-wise market like in a football match for home team there will be to leg.

Team X
Back, Lay?

How about a draw outcome?
1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How's your gambling experience right now? on: May 08, 2023, 07:30:18 AM
The transaction fee on Bitcoin is increasing day by day. It cost now 14$ for a low-priority transaction to 17$ for high priority transaction. I was planning to make a deposit today on my casino account until I notice the high fee on my electrum sent tab. The fee is almost 5% of my total bankroll that I was supposed to deposit. I decided to rest for now since I will be down immediately by 5% for a transaction that I don't know when will gonna be confirmed.
Mempool became so congested recently that sending bitcoin is a nightmare now. If one is thinking to deposit $50 or $100 then it's not worth it. Even if you are planning to deposit $500 then still it too costly for you. It's not a permanent problem by the way. Soon mempool will be cleared and then everything will be as normal as it was. I think it's better to give a break if your bankroll is small.

It's good for miners though LOL

Below average result from seven matches so far on superbru, it's for almost everyone but who is FmbetBru? With four exact scores he has so far 16 points where the 2nd highest is 8 LOL

Seems like LFC tactic/strategy to curse Manchester United and Newcastle its working really well.

Talking seriously, really bad timing and bad performance for Manchester United, they have a really good and healthy gap against the other teams, but now.... they have to wake really fast if they dont want to lose the Champions League spot.
I was hopeful for Arsenal to win but West Ham winning against Utd was a gift for us. The job is not done yet. We need to make sure that we do not lose any of the remaining matches and then wish for Utd and Castle to slip in one or more matches. Still it's a hard chance.
1270  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: mining bitcoin can be ceased? on: May 08, 2023, 07:12:28 AM
what would occur if all the computers in the world that mine Bitcoin suddenly stopped doing so?

how would this affect the value and future of Bitcoin as a digital asset and decentralized currency?   in other words, what would happen to Bitcoin if mining completely stopped or ceased?
I don't think it's going to happen but if that happen then the value of the bitcoin will find a threshold for people who will still mine and profit from it. Imagine there no competition on mining. Everyone is looking at you to get their transaction picked and confirmed. You will have all these coins? Isn't it too good to be truth?

But assume such thing just happened. Industrial mining died. Hash-power dropped dramatically, mining difficulty is just like it was at the beginning. More individuals will be able to mine bitcoin. That's in theory though.

I guess every one of us was hoping Rajasthan Royals will win the match against Mumbai Indians.
Don't add me with everyone. I am different 😉
From the last round I think I made a record of not picking up a winning team for the whole round. It's not easy to do as it's not easy to pick the winners too 🤣

I was continuing my losing streak but yesterday CSK won and gave me a break.
11 losing streak so far, has anyone else done it before?

1273  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay CONFISCATING 291mbtc of fair NBA winnings on: May 07, 2023, 10:04:50 AM
BitcoinGirl.Club, I am sorry, but I am asking why you think the whole story was not said.
Some of the points I can remember so far [I don't have time to check what I said before and read before then quote them].

OP wanted to ignore when I asked him why he had 50 accounts with different sportsbook? He responded later though once I asked again and other few guys too.
OP had very similar problem with other none branded sportsbooks too but still he continues gambling with none branded sportsbooks with large amount of money. With a highly established sportsbook he would not have to face such issue if he was fair
OP use such a blackmailing words/sentences is like if you don't do this I will do that.
OP gets rude when someone is not speaking in his favour. His words against SirJohnVonSlotty was not nice while SirJohnVonSlotty didn't seems siding for either OP not Coinplay.
When licensor told something that was not in his favour he started to blame the licensor. If he was not going to accept the justification of the licensor then why did he wrote them. Now he makes it sound that licensor did not handle it well and their response is suspicious
If anyone says anything that is semi favouring him he makes it sound like 100% in his favour. The askgambler never said OP was right but the reason was lack of providing information from coinplay. The way he is denying the licensor's response he would do that same if askgambler was saying things against him.
Reason was said arbitrage betting, then multi accounting from the same household which also led very well to arbitrage betting so what licensor said are very well relevant to the case.
There are many other things that feel like the whole story was not told as it happened but whatever presented, presented nicely to make it a strong case.

Most importantly if coinplay was really wanted to scam the OP then why did they returned his deposit?

We all are speculating and supporting flags, leaving red feedback based on what OP wants us to do. Lacking of communication does not mean you are guilty. If coinplay was fucking co-operative and giving us information then it would be helpful but that does not mean I have to flag them, red tag them from only hearing one side of story.

There are few other scam accusations against some other casinos which are still active. If I really need to support this flag anymore then I will have to ask the same for others too. Looking at these people who are creating topics against businesses on the forum, these businesses who are spending tons of money for advertising, does it make sense for them to scam members for $1k, $2k, $5k or even $10k?

Is it possible to add an screenshot of the options you get when you right click on the transaction?

Newcastle vs Arsenal
West Ham vs Man Utd

I will be hoping for two home wins to keep Liverpool’s slim top 4 hopes alive.
Are you sure? We need Arsenal and West Ham to win. So Castle and Utd don't get anymore points.

The recent form of Arsenal except win in the last round by 3 - 1 against Chelsea, does not give confidence that it will be an easy match to win for them. Castle definitely have a chance to win but I feel this match can end up by a draw. If so then one more point for Castle.

It will be too ambitious expectation to expect anything from West Ham. But we can hope the best for us.

I have $300 in coins I use crypto to buy then transfer to an iPhone app bitwallet and it’s been at 0 confirmations since 8pm now this app is really old but I looked up the transid and it says RBF. How do I just cancel it? The wallet I’m using is very old and I want the coins back plz sorry if this is the wrong section
If you sent the coin from and exchange then there should be a button or link to cancel it but if it's already sent to the blockchain then I do not think you will be able to reverse it since you do not have the private key of the wallet.

You need to wait until the mempool picks up all it's transactions. It will take a while depending on the fees that was set.

I have the prv key to the wallet that it was sent from. Or are you talking about the receiver??
Considering it's bitcoin and you have the private key. In that case, you can cancel the transaction. I did it using Electrum. Download the desktop version. Restore the wallet with the private key. Mouse hover and right click on the mouse. You should be able to see an option that will say Cancel/Cancel transaction kind similar thing. Click there and it will show you what to do.

I did it long ago, and if I remember correctly then it worked too. Try it.

Fee per vbyte 84satoshi spent on the tx and it's unconfirmed from the last 7 hours! Mempool is making history LOL

Ok so electrum is downloaded and my prv key is in and I can see all the info about it now how do I cancel it and return it back to the original wallet it was sent from using electrum please and thank you

Now this is saying replace by fee “false” yet blockchain says YES. Ugh
Go to history tab.
You are seeing the transaction as a list.
Right click on the transaction, you will see some options and one of it is, Cancel transaction or just cancel or may be it is saying double spend. Whatever it says, it's the options you pick.
Click on it and follow instructions.

P.S: It's hard to give very specific direction if the window is not open to your end. Right now I have no facility to open an Electrum and give you specific direction other than what I provided already.
1277  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Btc stuck for hours on: May 07, 2023, 08:40:13 AM
By the way mate, did you just cancel it? I am reading information about it and apparently to cancel one transaction already broadcasted to the mempool you have to:

send another transaction that uses the same inputs but spends them in a different way (aka "Double Spend") and hope that the new transaction gets confirmed before the first transaction... but you can't simply make the first transaction "disappear".
It's double spending of course. You need to rebroadcast the tx with higher fees. Once you click the cancel button then it will tell you what to do. You don't need any technical knowledge for that.

By the way, when a transaction with lower fees stay around 7 days then the pool automatically drops it. So this is a way to get your transaction disappears.
1278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Multisig and paper wallet on: May 07, 2023, 08:34:59 AM
My point was one does not need to keep the Master Public key saved as they can find the keys when they try all three seeds one by one and each time they will get each Master Key. Then combine the master key and seed to recover the wallet. For a 2 of 3 wallet, two set is enough.
Half the point of a multi-sig is to have redundancy in the set up. A 2-of-3 wallet allows you to lose one seed phrase and still be able to recover your wallet, provided you have all three master public keys. If you don't save the master public keys, then you need all three seed phrases in order to recover the wallet, even if the wallet itself is 2-of-3.

You should absolutely back up your master public keys alongside your seed phrases. Without a copy of your master public keys, then you need to recover every single one of your seed phrases, which defeats the point of having a threshold number of signers.
I agree with the part of redundancy. But a multisig wallet is better than a standard wallet in terms of security. In the cases of compromised wallet information a hacker or bad actor at least needs to access more than one device to steal the funds.

If anyone as me how to keep their coins securely? My first suggestion is to buy a hardware wallet. And the second suggestion is to set up a m of n multi sig wallet.
1279  Other / Meta / Re: Ban appeal [Legendary] - 4 years passed on: May 07, 2023, 08:27:30 AM
I also question why he wants to return to bitcointalk now, with that specific account (I'm pretty sure he has others, likely still active).  He's probably got plans to put it to use in some way, and my guess is that whatever he's got in mind will either lead to shitposts or some variety of shady activity.  Not that the ban appeal process is a democratic one, but my vote is to let it stand as is.
There are no need to think all these negative things. The account must have a value for them. May be they want to feel proud that they have a legendary account, may be they want to join a good signature campaign to receive better payment, they may want to start a business, anything that could lead the account to a better one than it used to be.
