1261  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin price drops is a buying opportunity? on: May 28, 2020, 09:28:03 AM
It is the best option, to be honest.

It is a matter of timing though since we never know how long will it fall, how much it will fall and if we get that right, it is a good profit in just some days and might continue to for a week or a month if you are lucky enough. I think that also goes with other cryptocurrencies with good potentials though we never know which are those since there are a lot of them that are dead now.
1262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be 20K USD again? on: May 28, 2020, 08:12:58 AM
The price is quite stable at $9K right now, I guess that is fine.

We don't know when will be the price of Bitcoin reaching another ATH, no one can really tell, we can predict though. Since a lot of countries are suffering right now because of the pandemic, I guess we might see next year another ATH. Or maybe it will be next month, or the next one. All we know is that it has the possibility to reach that we just don't know when.
it's just that, the potential for bitcoin is now greater than ever before. however, I am pretty sure the price of bitcoin can approach the old ATH this year. however, the clarity that the price of bitcoin stands at $ 9k is really very clear. I believe that beginning of June the price of bitcoin will start to rise again.

We will be seeing that depending on the movement next month.

It is like nothing really changed after the halving but it is better than it will just dump, right? Since the price right now is going back and forth at $8K and $9K, I guess it might stay that way this month. Next month, I guess we could see some movements, dump or pump we will jus wait since I know that the effect of halving is not always sudden after.
1263  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is becoming legal in my country! Any business idea? on: May 28, 2020, 07:46:40 AM
That is good for you.

In terms of building your own business, I don't think you should relate that or based that on Bitcoin. Bitcoin is just legalized in your country, I guess you should just approach that plan normally without thinking about people using Bitcoin since you are limiting your goal in that case. What business can you manage? What do you know? Where will you do that? Who are your customers? You could just add Bitcoin if you are done with your good business plan. Like accepting it in your business and giving discounts or promos for those who will use it.
1264  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: May 28, 2020, 12:59:09 AM
It is advisable to always have your savings at your place, not trusting the banks or anyone else. Because in which case, you have the opportunity to lose all your money, and literally stay with nothing. But in what exactly to store, everyone already decides for himself.

You can do that, but it is safe?

Not all of the people think like you since most of them when it comes to money, they overthink. Fiat is not like Bitcoin and your Bitcoin wallet since you can secure that with a lot of ways and people won't know, they won't know that you have a Bitcoin either. But in terms of fiat, it can show either with  your job or your state in life and if you will just save that in your house and not in a bank account, you are risking that to be robbed, while in banks, it is not just sitting there it is also giving you some interest.
1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vaccine against Covid-19 should be made before sports events will take place? on: May 28, 2020, 12:11:12 AM
They don't have a choice and for betterment of everyone they resume the league with not crowds, although player need this since its really different if you heard a crowd cheers for you.

Its expected to get dropped since ticket sales are not available for the crowd so maybe they will recover it from advertisement and other forms which their team can generate an income.

I guess they are doing that through their social media.

Since people don't have that much to do right now in their houses, the best thing to keep people looking at the league is by making their players update things and even make events like they did where they play a game against other players. I don't know if they are actually getting something from it but I guess that is their step to get the attention of more people in their houses.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a professional gambler on your own way. on: May 27, 2020, 09:00:34 AM
The way to make money with Gambling always goes through good psychology. It is not always possible to make the right move at the right time. However, it is very important that the mistakes do not follow one after another. Especially in games like blackjack, you have to manage the whole game very well.

We make mistakes and that is just nature of us being human.

As long as we can learn from that mistake, we will not make the same mistake because we already did that, and I think that can give us more experience to face different situations. And related to gambling, we should realize that we need to have control in the game so we can prevent using more money, and we can avoid making a mistake by spending the money.

Here's the thing about mistakes and betting.

You can learn a lot of things from your mistakes, just like the past bets you've done and the same as mistakes, you want to get back from the bets you've lost in the past. But the thing is you don't know when will you reach something without making mistakes, the same as you bet your money and don't know when you will lose or win. Mistakes and losing in gambling is inevitable, you just keep on going.

It is important because people are control freaks in life, while gambling helps them (us) realize how little control we actually have over the course of everyday events

And that is also why some people don't want to gamble at all.
1267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways in which you can promote bitcoin. on: May 27, 2020, 04:47:17 AM
I'll be very grateful if you can list more ways so we all can have something we can do to support the growth of bitcoin. Thanks a lot for promoting bitcoin.

Here is an easy way to promote bitcoin. Rename your wi-fi network at home and/or office to Bitcoin.

Sooner or later neighbors may become curious and google bitcoin. Every little helps  Wink

Until your boss knows about it and you reconnecting those people and computers connected to it.

In a small way, you can actually help promote Bitcoin. Accept Bitcoin payments if you have a business, posts QR codes of your Bitcoin address in some places so they are aware of it, users or non-users. Even when I go to remittance centers, and told them that the money I am getting is from local exchange, they got curious and I tell them about it ending up in a conversation about Bitcoin and how to use them.
1268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is crypto is better then fiat? on: May 27, 2020, 03:25:46 AM
Fiat is manipulated by governments/banks to control & have power.  Whales heavily manipulate crypto. By switching to crypto, isn't it just handing the control & power from governments/banks to a small group of wealthy whales?

I do agree with the fiat but in terms of Bitcoin, I don't think so.

It is true that whales can manipulate the market, but I don't think they would be doing that all the time. The government is tasked to control the fiat for the greater good of the country, whales just owned a huge percentage of a cryptocurrency and are not tasked to control or manipulate. It is just that they hold the highest percentage and with their every movement the price can be affected.
1269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes on: May 27, 2020, 12:38:47 AM
how about being impatient?

Maybe it would go under not prepared since most of those people that are impatient do not know what to do in time they are waiting for their investments to grow. Another thing with being a follower is that you learn things from people but it depends on how you will be using that skill or knowledge you've learned.
Being impatient should be an innate trait when you want to trade, I too am an aspiring trader, though I do not trade yet, I am doing my research to learn as much as I can until I saved up enough funds for trading, I can agree with being a newbie trader, you should follow and find a mentor, but do not just follow to the point that you become a sycophant, use your common sense (another innate trait), the decision always end with you and not with other people. I really this kind of testimonial threads, they help me watch out for mistakes that I could've missed and I am grateful that people are sharing their mistakes and success, both people are equally inspiring.

But I think it is a mistake by traders.

If you really know what you are doing, you will never rush things, you will never be impatient with your investments, with your trades since sudden decisions mostly fruits to mistakes. That is why we should be really aware of that.

Being impatient will go to emotion as general. Emotion are the one that is making our trading plan go to shit. Personally, it is always happening to me when the price go dump I will immediately sell my holdings because of my emotion even though my plan is not that and after that dump the price is going to pump and will reach my expected price. By telling that story we should always remember that go with our stop loss and don't be greedy and set a take profit.

If you are taking profit make sure you set it in at least 5 levels. so if the coin you are holding reach at least 3 and dump you, at least you are gonna have some profit. back to the topic, if you can handle your emotion then, I am positive that you can trade well.  Wink

So, can we include it in these mistakes?

Humans are vulnerable to this types of emotions, that is why a lot of people are addicted to gambling. I know that this might not be a mistake but a flaw humans have. Mistakes tell us that we are human, there is no such thing as a perfect individual, so yeah, saying all of this, I can say that if they can't control their emotions, they will not be that good in terms of trading and investing. Hence, it is also a mistake by us, trades, and investors.

It's possible for banks to start losing relevance as we transition into a cashless society, it all depends on which currencies crash and burn first though.

I don't think that will happen.

I mean even the government convert to digital currencies, they will not be dissolving banks. People will still use currencies, and as long as people have a lot of them, they will still be using the service of the banks. It is not that they will be using Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies as a main currency, they will just use it as a secondary.
1272  Economy / Economics / Re: Continuous Printing Of Money Out Of Thin Air Has Never Being The Answer on: May 24, 2020, 07:57:55 AM
Printing more and more money is the answer in a short period until the next hyperinflation each time. The government understands that it's ineffective, and they have to deal with it. Why? Printing money is their tool for controlling the economy.

But that also means depreciation.

The value of fiat will obviously fall down, it is not the answer nor the solution, it is the reason why there will be problems in the future and the reason why some people might turn to cryptocurrencies mainly Bitcoin.

1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does Gambling really mean to you? on: May 24, 2020, 05:00:24 AM

If you can control yourself, still, try to limit yourself from gambling since despite you saying that you are just playing for fun, for excitement or for the money, you are still losing money and time in the long run. I know this is hard for those people that are actually trying to do that and actually addicted to it, but still, keep on trying.

How can we limit ourselves if we cannot control? We need help if this already happening to us since I'm sure we will struggle to find the better solution for ourselves since if we see someone playing especially if that person is our friend for sure we will go back again and again to gamble. I think the best solution for addicted gamblers is to go to the rehabilitation center since addiction is mental disability so this one could help for the person affected on this.

That is just a typo though.

The sentence there should be,"If you can control yourself, still, try to limit yourself from gambling since despite you saying that you are just playing for fun, for excitement or for the money, you are still losing money and time in the long run.". I know that people are having a hard time controlling themselves in gambking so they better find a way to limit themselves like keeping a record of their bets or just bringing enough money to gamble.
1275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi isn't that rich. on: May 24, 2020, 04:21:49 AM
Why would he do that though?

There is this theory about good and bad Satoshi Nakamoto. If he plans to sell the Bitcoin he's holding when the price is at the peak, then he is a Bad Satoshi. If he keeps it and since he's just holding it, meaning he's a good Satoshi. He is manipulating for the own good of Bitcoin. Saying that, he will not just sell all of his Bitcoins.
1276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to answer when asked "Can I make money mining bitcoin?" on: May 24, 2020, 03:26:28 AM
Just say yes.

There are a lot of people that earned money out of gambling the thing is the profit of it is not that good unlike in the past where gambling is easier where you can just leave it in a PC. You can earn but I don't think that would be enough to get back from the money you used to buy that rig. So yeah, you can make money out of mining Bitcoin but it is not profitable.
1277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2009 coins on the move? Probably not Satoshi on: May 24, 2020, 03:07:43 AM
It is funny how hard Craig trying to prove it.

A lot of people obviously know that it is not Craig, he is not Wright  Wink Either way, people are saying that someone moved it and it is not Craig, if it is not Satoshi, then it is someone having fun while Craig desperately wants to take it all.

1279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Possible to Manipulate bitcoin price?? on: May 24, 2020, 12:15:23 AM
Absolutely yes and you can't ignore that thing knowing that whales will strike if they wanted. We can't simply think that Bitcoin is 100% a decentralized coin this time, manipulations are often to happen, only we saw this time that hypes aren't particularly working unlike what it happens last 2017.
But for me, I'm so glad to have not happening again and it saves noobs to suffer losses.

I don't think you need to call them noobs.

Since we are talking about manipulation, and this whales manipulating the market whenever they wanted to as you said, everyone, can lose, including you. If you call people who lose at that time where the market behaves unpredictably noobs, then I guess we all belong there. Either way, we all started to be noobs so don't mock your starting point.
1280  Economy / Economics / Re: Did COVID-19 Bring Any Positive Sign? on: May 23, 2020, 01:06:50 PM
Bad impact exactly for economic crisis because after covid 19 many people lost their job and faced economic crash global in the world, many countries faced difficult how to stop corona virus and keep down after their business stop for working, now waiting only when covid 19 will gone and start activities like sually.

The term is not "lost", its can't work.

Another thing here is that countries are not actually having a problem with the virus itself, it is the people that can't be contained. They lie, they go wherever they want and if that is a carrier, the virus would spread so easily. Countries can contain the virus, I can tell you that, but the people? No. That is the reason why a lot of people are having a hard time in their houses being quarantined.
