1261  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is bitcoin? on: May 07, 2017, 06:50:32 AM
Very brilliant six question and I do believe they are expert here to answer these questions. But number six which is about who set the price of coins is what I want to answer. From what I have learned from forex and now currencies trading, what determine the price of assets or coins is it acceptability, volume, capitalization and index. That mean the traders determined the value of coin.
It is not just traders who determine the value of the coin but all the users of a certain coin and most of the time the one who can manipulate price is the whales or the people who have a lot of a certain coin. It is true though that price of coins is determined by acceptance, volume, capitalization and index but aside from that news also sometimes can determine price in about days because news sometime can control a user's action.
1262  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Top 5 reasons to trust Bitcoin on: May 07, 2017, 05:17:53 AM
Thumbs up to OP for the video was well made the video can easily convince a newbie to use bitcoin I will send it to a newbie friend for him to watch and be more convinced to use bitcoin. I think you should add one in the top reasons like bitcoin can be trusted because the bitcoin holders have the complete control over their money unlike in banks.
1263  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How do I buy bitcoins? on: May 07, 2017, 04:14:27 AM
There are many ways to buy bitcoins and many other users mentioned sites that are trustworthy and easy to buy. You can also buy bitcoin at c-cex.com and any other exchanges using perfectmoney, payeer which supports credit cards, okpay and many more.  I think via exchanges you can purchase a little amount like 30$ but there is a fee in every transaction that happens so you will get lesser bitcoin. Sometimes it might be more convenient in localbitcoins but in some countries exchanges can be more convenient.
1264  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are bitcoins worth to become a career?? on: May 07, 2017, 02:44:46 AM
For me going full time in bitcoin is worth it only if one knows how to program if not Ill say it is not worth a shot at all to make bitcoin a full time career since every one of us needs fiat nowadays to live life and buy our daily needs. It is worth a shot doing trading though I would not consider it to be a full time career in bitcoin because trading only needs a little time per day or week most of the time to be profitable.
1265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: May 06, 2017, 08:39:52 AM
Bitcoin actually was advertised in facebook in the cover of coins.ph web wallet. This certain web wallet was being put on advertisements on facebook but I think it can only be seen on some countries. Bitcoin being advertised on Televisions I think for now is not needed unless government will accept it officially like what Japan did. If the government in a certain country would not officially accept bitcoin as a virtual currency, then advertisements on tv is useless.
1266  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Had a Dream Aliens Brought Us Bitcoin to Save Our Monetary System on: May 06, 2017, 03:48:31 AM
And by all means...you may add that Nakamoto Satoshi was like a god or a leader of an alien pack and maybe the reason he is gone is because he is now back to an alien planet enjoying a life of bliss after accomplishing his nice mission here on this Earth.

Well, I am happy to hear these stories confirming that we can also be wild, brave and creative while using Bitcoin. And who knows soon a movie can incorporate this story and can even make Bitcoin really popular in the mainstream.
Hahaha LOL this theory of satoshi is somewhat funny because many will think of this as lunacy and this theory seems impossible but who knows, no one really know about satoshi's real identity so therefore I think there is still a slight possibility of this being correct. Even if a movie will be incorporated with this story, it would not really make bitcoin really popular in the mainstream unless the movie was so good it attracted so many viewers.
1267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transaction completion /confirmation on: May 06, 2017, 03:07:43 AM
hi

why i need to wait so long to get 3-6 confirmations,  even first one take about 8 hours.

bitcoin used to be paid within 30 minutes , things have changed in 2107 ...

i see bitcoin core vs unlimated now  it's not handy and i pay the standard fee if not little more.
It's just the way it is now, transaction confirmation times got slower because there are so many transactions that occurs every hour and minute in bitcoin unlike on the past years, transactions can be handled fast by the network. For now all we can do is be patient about it. Sometimes though its just 1 hour wait even if the fee is regular so I pay regular fee even if it takes long, I will just wait for it since it also takes long even if you pay a little more so I pay the standard fee.
1268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only now many countries recognize bitcoin as a virtual currency? on: May 06, 2017, 01:39:20 AM
At first many countries does not recognize bitcoin as a virtual currency just because they don't trust it and not just because of it's low price. Some recognized it now not because of the price that skyrocketed but because bitcoin showed many that it got stronger when there is a constant fud happening and tons of bad news but it still resisted, stabilize to a good price and rise again which made other countries like Japan to recognize bitcoin's potential.
1269  Economy / Speculation / Re: sub 1000 gone forever on: May 05, 2017, 01:27:10 PM
We could see sub $1000 BTC in case of cumulative bad news, e.g.: Bitfinex final bankruptcy, new harsher cryptocurrency law and fail of BTC scaling.
It is possible that we really can see sub 1000$ price again in the future so I think it is too early for OP to say that sub 1000$ price is gone forever specially right now that bitfinex issue, block scaling issue and many more is still here. Even if all problems preventing btc price to rise higher right now is gone, I still would not say that sub 1000$ price is forever gone, it might come back anytime.
1270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crash coming? on: May 05, 2017, 12:19:34 PM
Lol well here's your crash. Let's see how deep we will fall this time.

I've been warning people not to invest in outdated unscaleable tech like bitcoin.
I guess who doesn't want to listen will have to feel it in his wallet.
Lol hehehe your back kwuckduck. Either way just let them do what they want because one's judgement can be right and can be wrong sometimes so many traders here just trust themselves and they don't listen to others after all FUD is very common. I too want to see how deep bitcoin will fall this time if bitcoin really will crash and if it will not I would also want to see how much it will rise until it crash.
1271  Economy / Speculation / Re: WARNING INCOMING CORRECTION on: May 05, 2017, 11:24:20 AM
A correction happening soon is just right after seeing a big pump in price because there will be some people who will take profit of course to rebuy again when price is cheaper but hold your bitcoin for now as OP says the bull run is not yet over. For now I will watch current price movements hoping to get more profit out of it I'm sure those FUDers hopes the same for them too.
1272  Economy / Speculation / Re: everyone is so helpful today! on: May 05, 2017, 10:02:47 AM
i just wanted to say my gratitude and tell you that i am going to sell my coins just the way i sold them back when price was $200 and you were saying it will dies.
or when i sold them when price was $600 and you were giving me "valuable financial advice" and predicted crash to $200. and the same way that i sold when price went above $1000 and you gave me another "valuable financial advice" and told me price is going to crash to $400 again.
This post is pretty sarcastic and very funny at the same time. If I were you though I will just do what I want and I will not listen to others because most of the time they are doing the opposite of the advice that they give you and sometimes it is just a fud for them to buy at a lower price don't follow them if you don't want. For me I will just sell when I want too cash out some fiat and rebuy when I think that a certain price is the right point of reentry.
1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRB] Creditbit - ERC20 token on: May 05, 2017, 07:57:00 AM
Let's go...the campaign could be a great success for creditbit...dev is great, community is great, crbit is great and it will be a great story...
It is really great I just hope that the future waiting for it ahead is great too. Its also nice to see that some bigshots got an interest to invest in this coin which is I think unlikely for them unless they know that an altcoin will be good and already made their research. I also hope that they would not begin to try to manipulate the price that would be bad to see for me well maybe for others it would be good.

1276  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price break 1459 USD, is it too late to invest in Bitcoin? on: May 04, 2017, 01:44:08 AM
Never too late, especially if you're in for the long haul. Bitcoin isn't going anywhere but up.
so do you think we should have some investment basics first before we invest or should we buy some bitcoins first and learn later.
It really depends to you since in bitcoin no one can now certainly if it is too late or is it a right time to invest in bitcoin so I suggest that if you want to go for it don't go all in just buy using a percent of your total capital to buy bitcoin just in case price drops. If not then try to short trade it and rebuy back when price is low again. That way your office mates won't regret buying bitcoin when price go up and your office mates won't also regret that they have not go all in when price dumped but it is still better to buy cheaper bitcoins.
1277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction - $1500 in 30 days - What do you think? on: May 04, 2017, 12:54:23 AM
It is not only the Japanese are buying but the other news is about ETF approval this month which is creating the boom market in the bitcoin price. and if it got approved then we can see $2000 price in this month itself.
Don't expect it to be approved because SEC said in their statement that "The commission notes that bitcoin is still in the relatively early stages of its development and that, over time, regulated bitcoin-related markets of significant size may develop." It was stated on last months SEC decision and from that till today, regulated bitcoin-related market has not developed that well and it's size for now is not significant compared to those non regulated ones so I think ETF again will be rejected. Because of this reason, I don't think for now at least that ETF will not drive bitcoin up to 2000 US Dollar price.
1278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to 1400 (forecast) on: May 03, 2017, 10:26:14 AM
Truth bitcoin is on a good track and with so much good news the price will increase, but I do not think that this time the ETF decision will be different.
Bitcoin really is on a good track but there somehow is a chance that ETF decision will be different so I think this pump was not just caused by Japan's acceptance but also by the upcoming ETF.
I believe we will eventually get back on earth again. Segwit/ Scaling issues are still there. Without any consensus within the community this is all temporary.
Unless we achieve that prepare for a lot of volatility.
Even without that we will eventually get back on earth again but for now let's enjoy the price we have right now and sell some portion of some of the bitcoin we have just in case a dump happens we can rebuy again.  Cool
1279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like we have set a new ATH at $1,377 on: May 03, 2017, 09:03:01 AM
Anyway let's throw a party at every 500 mark, so the next being at $1500  Cheesy
The price right now of bitcoin is at 1488 US Dollars according to preev and it seems like the 1500$ mark might be reached tomorrow or in the coming days before saturday unless there will be a dump that will happen that is more likely to happen soon specially now that the price is high. I just really do hope no dumps will happen in the next few days until saturday.

I believe that bitcoin will reach $ 1500 in the next few days, and then there may be a price reduction. A decrease in should sometime happen for balance.
There is a slight decrease in price that happened today but for now it is still continuing it's upward movement again. The price of bitcoin right now is 1450 US Dollars and let's hope this rise continues for now and if price really continued to go upward in the next few days, we would see 1500 US Dollar price in the next few days and if not, we might see lower prices than 1400 US Dollars.
